Just moved to the west coast so was looking for a dealership to call home especially for any recall work that needed to be done. I picked these guys because their website system was perfect and they had good reviews. Was really surprised when I made an appointment at 7am how many people they service at once. There were like 20 people but I was also happy to see how big the dealership was. They can really move customers in and out no problem. I was also very happy with the service from the service desk. Detailed explanations, letting me know where everything was inside the lobby and remembering who I was without yelling out my name when my vehicle was done. I could have looked around the lobby but even with covid they had just enough comfy chairs for everyone so I decided to take a small snooze. They definitely embody what Toyota wants a dealership and service shop to be. Highly recommend.

I am on my third Toyota Sienna because two of them have been totaled by other people. I have had them all checked at Toyota of Renton to make sure they were safe and in the best condition. i had them serviced their and i am very satisfied with the service I received.
It was frustrating, had to came many times to had it done, each time we came with appointments ahead, by the time we show up no one was there to help us and we have to wait an hour long to get help from some one else not the person that we make appointment with. Why would you schedule to see your customer and you don’t even show up and let your customers wait for hours and end up see some one else and it not happen the 1st time!!!They keep make you buy insurance even thought we keep say NO many time but they won’t let go, so annoying

Its great having a loaner vehicle as well since its my only form of transportation. After we had terrible experience with Lakecity Toyota, Renton Toyota is hospitality, honest opinions about financing made our purchase smooth and a lot better. Their follow ups and communication were pretty good. They are not pushy at all and don’t use the tactics suggesting us buy other cars than what we are looking at. We didn’t go through sales person, we went right to financing team (Thanks Toni and Michael) Probably because we contacted them through their website and picked up the car? Anyway, the purchase and financing went very good.

I need a minivan for my incoming move, Ray, the sale consultant, at Toyota of Renton did his best to help me secure my vehicle. He notified the moment he know a Sienna will be available by the end of June, and helped to reserve it. Ray then kept updating me about its status so that I know it will come within the desired window. When the vehicle is ready for me to pick up, Ray explained every feature of the new 2021 Sienna. He even went one step further to adjust the seat so that I have more rooms to load. This Sienna laid down the final cornerstone of my move that I can get on my trip as planned. Big thanks to Ray.
I easily made a service appointment online. Check-in was swift. They estimated that the work would take 3 hours. They called me back within those 3 hours. The break down of the costs of services and parts was clear and reasonable. I happily drove off the lot with my repaired truck. This was my first time at this Toyota dealership and Kevin Pham did an awesome job helping me with my service appointment.
Kevin was awesome! Upon taking in my highlander for an oil change and regular maintenance, he found out there was a recall on my vehicle. They were able to take care of the reprogramming needs to address the recall issue the same day. I lucked out as they didn’t seem to be that busy so I was able to use one of their loaner vehicles and not have to wait around the 5+ hours. Kevin called when my car was ready and we were in and out of there.

Why are you going to the dealer to service your car after the warranty?!?!?Because they know my car very well, the services definitely last longer than other places and the staff are kind, efficient and honest with me. From the moment I pull into the service center to the minute I walk away with my car, I know what I am paying for, why and how much its needed and a pretty good estimate of when itll be needed and Im not ever questioning whats happening. My car is 7 years old and has a lot of life left.
I purchased my Highlander about 3 weeks ago. Its used 2018 car. My husband and I arrived around 7:30 pm and closed the deal at 11pm. I saw the next day that my tires were old, leather door was scratched, one of the headlights was dim, and usb charger doesnt work and on top of that my windshield wipers were vibrating even though there was lot of rain. Lot of little issues I didnt realize because it was already dark outside when we made our purchase. I made service appt shortly after that to address the issue. The service guy said yes your tires are pretty worn but its your fault because you should have told them before you closed the deal . Im like wow okay. Then he proceeded to tell me that wait is 3 hours so these little issues arent really issues. Are you kidding me ? I drove there all the way from Tacoma with my two little children just to hear his mouth? I cant believe Renton Toyota treat you so bad. I previously purchased brand new Camry from Kirkland Toyota and never experienced such poor treatment.
This experience was great. My check engine light came on while I was driving to work. I was able to swing through Toyota of Renton, drop my truck off to be serviced, pick up a loaner vehicle, and make it to work with time to spare.

Toyota of Renton provided a wonderful car-buying experience for us. From my first contact with salespersons, they provided ample information about the availability of a RAV4 hybrid. Communication was rapid, clear, accurate. They had more such cars on order than any other regional dealer, made a deposit simple, and delivered my car earlier than predicted (one month wait time). Peter handled the transaction extremely efficiently, with good humor, as did Michael with the financing. We finalized everything and drove away in less that two hours, one of the easiest car purchases I ever made. We highly recommend them.

Always do good work. Up front estimates are always correct or a little high. I just wish you could schedule a time - instead of first come, first served - if you planned far enough in advance. I would like that capability for things that are not regular maintenance, like brake jobs.

My experience at Today of Renton was very pleasant and professional. I got to work with a person named Henry Perez, instead of asking me to wait for hours he took a picture of my cars issue, and got back to me promptly. He was able to order parts and get me in for service within a few days. When I brought my car in I was offered a loaner car. The repairs took less than 24 hours. My car looks great again and I am so happy I went with Toyota over Mazda this time.

Worst experience I ever had in a dealership. I had only gone in for an oil change for my Camry and they had told me my estimated waiting time would be an hour. But after an hour passed no one had given me an update, it seemed as if they did not notice how long I have been waiting—or checking which service was done or not. After 2 hours I immediately walked to the employee and asked why my car was not finished yet. They did not know the answer to that, and after the lack of regard of having me stay back longer than necessary, they did not even apologize or seem sorry. I have never been to a dealership that has treated a customer this way before. I have no plans of coming back and introducing someone to this place.
My experience was wonderful. Omar made everything very simple and comfortable for the purchase of my first brand new car. I would highly recommend asking for Omar Thompson when going there, although Im sure any one of the sales guys would give you a great experience.

Some one stole the catalytic converters of my 4Runner, took it to the dealer and the service manager did all the work of dealing with the insurance company and I had the truck back the next morning they even gave me a loaner car....1st class service..
Had an appointment at 7 a.m. got out by 8 a.m. for an oil change plus they looked at my brakes to make sure they were still good. They were quick, professional, and helpful with providing me information.

I had a very good experience buying a used Highlander SUV at Toyota of Renton primarily because of the efforts of the salesman Raymond Kim. He was not pushy rather he was friendly, informative, and gave direct honest answers to my questions. The first vehicle I test drove was a 2018 but it seemed to have options I really didnt need. When I asked Ray about a 2013 he didnt hesitate to let me test drive it. He was the first the first to say it was a better fit for me. Thats putting the customer first! Thanks Ray.

Came in this morning for an oil change extra early at 10:25am before my 11am appointment. Parked at the front and the young man told me I can go sit inside so that’s exactly what I did. Then 5 mins til noon a service writer (woman) comes in and told me why I didn’t check in? How about why you guys didn’t bother to wonder where is the owner of the vehicle and sent someone to find him/her? Obviously one of your employees had misinformed the customer? And now you want to make it sounds like it’s my fault? So done with this place. I will never spend a penny here.

I have been researching for a new car for some time now. My sister purchased her Highlander almost two years ago now from Renton Toyota. A lot of my family and friends believe that a Toyota was the best way to go, and Ive been eyeing on a Toyota Camry Hybrid for the last two years now.I was contacted by James Salinas, who is a Internet Sales Consultant with Renton Toyota, via phone and email. A day within activity using Renton Toyotas site. I didnt think anything of it other than James showed persistent customer service. After getting preapproved for an Auto Loan through BECU, I had a good idea what I can afford. I also reached out to James the same day to see if there was a car in stock that I could purchase here and now.Although James noted that I was indeed interested in a Hybrid, my budget wouldnt allow it. James worked with my budget/preapproved loan amount, so that the Out Of Door Price was within that amount. I cant stress enough for consumers to get preapproved and find out what the Out Of Door Price is before actually setting your foot at the dealership.We promptly met with James, he set up test drive, and we came back ready to sign the required paper work to finance the car. Through this entire experience I will also suggest that if you are preapproved through any financial institution that everything can be done through the Financial Department at Renton Toyota.We worked with Michael Chanthasom the Finance Manager at Renton Toyota. Michael showed great professionalism through the entire process. He pulled up the same numbers that BECU preapproved for my Auto Loan, check my credit score, went through my options, and everything went pretty smoothly from that point on. After ironing out any details, I was able to drive my brand new 2022 Toyota Corolla SE.Although this isnt the exact car that I wanted, I will definitely go back to Renton Toyota in the next few years to trade in towards my Toyota Hybrid of choice! After many wonderful years of coming here to the service department. It has come to an end. The service writers here are no longer helpful as they once were. Long ago, if you needed help they would provide it. Save you a bit here and there on the bill. The new service writers are rude and really are there to push you in and out. So much so, that they miss many courtesy things now. Please avoid the service center here if you can.

On our first visit to Toyota in Renton, we talked to Steven Dang who was really energetic about helping us find a car. We left hopeful that if we decided to buy a RAV4 then we would totally go back to Steven. Fast forward a couple of weeks and after trying many different car makes and models we finally narrowed our decision down to two makes, one of them being the RAV4. Wanting to try a RAV4 again before we finally purchased we eagerly went back to Steven at Renton Toyota. Unfortunately this time he was anything but friendly and energetic. He seemed frustrated and annoyed by our questions, even coming off as rude. We told him we would like to try out another RAV4 and he asked if we were actually going to buy it. We were not sure at that point because we wanted to test drive it again then possibly purchase it as we had come to the end of our search. He said that most the RAV4s were sold and if we wanted to test drive something similar to the one we wanted we could test drive it then come and put a deposit on something that would be coming in 2 weeks. We told him we didnt want to put a deposit down on a car we havent seen. He tried to pressure us further by stating that it would be almost exactly the same car. We said no and just left. Honestly his attitude was a real turn off and I told my husband that I didnt feel comfortable buying from him. We are purchasing a car this week and will not be going back to Toyota of Renton. The experience with Steven Dang left such a bad taste in our mouths and turned what could have been a great experience and potential purchase in to a sour one.
Toyota OEM battery died in 2 years. I own a 2014 Toyota 4runner and I go to Toyota for service. I buy genuine Toyota parts. In 2019, I was told that my battery is not good anymore and they told me to replace it. I did. And now, 2 years later, the battery is dead. I tried to recharge it but it will not work. This happened at the worst time. There is a pandemic and so I do not want to go to the dealership.
Peter Hubris and his team at Toyota of Renton couldnt have treated me more professionally, courteously, and respectfully. Peter went out of his way to enable me to purchase a new car even when there was a several month waiting period to order any new vehicles. It was surprising and fantastic! I will always go back to Peter for any of my new vehicles and will refer my friends and family to him as well.

He also, gave me a detailed list of things that I needed to consider for the next service which was awesome. Beware that the online appointment scheduling doesnt actually mean anything. Its all first-come including loaner cars. I made an online appointment with a loaner car to get there and be told they were all gone. I had my kids with and appointments to get to - I wouldnt have gone if I didnt think I had a car, so just be aware that you should plan to just sit there even with an appointment. I figured out the dealership in SoDo actually does appointments and has pick-up/drop-off so try there instead if youre time limited!

Good stuff, expect the longer waits. Upwards of 4+ hours sometimes, if you can go during mid week please do so. I came at 7am on a weekend and lines were long.
I HATE dealing with car dealerships. However, we worked with Toni Blair. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and had done all my homework ahead of time to know what to expect. She had a no bull, get it done personality. We got what we wanted and our entire process took maybe two hours of being in the dealership total. Probably less. I really enjoyed working with her in particular tho. She just made it fun and made us laugh the whole time.
I mad at the serviced yesterday March 29-21, with my agreement to paid for packaged of oils change extra $25./m, i been doing that over a year and now you guys added $108. For filters, thats not okay, you guys breakup agreement with that, when doing oil change have to including filters, i cant do oil change at Toyota service shop and go somewhere else to do replacement filters....Hopefully you guys have to stop doing thatSincerely,Thuy Nguyen
I have always had a great experience with the Toyota of Renton Service Department! The staff are really friendly and the technicians do great work. Work quotes are always right at (or even sometimes slightly less than!) what was estimated. If you can be lucky enough to get Henry Perez as your Service Advisor, he is awesome - super nice and personable! I highly recommend them for any Toyota service needs!

Recently I came in here, to parts department for some info on the ignition wiring diagram/colors. They could not and would not help at all. The counter person said that they do not have such info, only the tech people have access to it. I was surprised, thought auto supply shops like Autozone or Oreilly have offered me better help, they have far better customer service than this major dealership. I will not come back here for parts or for another car! Period!

I had been looking for a very specific and extremely popular vehicle with no luck. I finally came across it at Toyota of Renton which is about 150 miles from me. I reached out and Toni contacted me to say it was in fact there and available. I was beside myself, was this going to finally happen? Toni took down all my information got all the paperwork going and took my deposit. I told her Id like to pick up the vehicle in a few days and she said no problem. That following weekend I traveled to the dealership where my new vehicle was washed and ready with a full tank of gas. I was out of there in a little over an hour, driving back home in awe at how easy the process was. Everyone I encountered was so nice and friendly. Now, I dont want this review to be about pricing but I feel that I should mention that while looking for this vehicle I encountered dealerships that were charging upwards of $12,000 over MSRP, justifying the mark up due to the popularity. Not at Toyota of Renton, they still gave me a fair price and that says a lot about the integrity of this dealership. Highly recommend and totally worth the drive.

Ray Kims sales support was superb with courtesy and his knowledge of the products & financing. I decided to lease RAV4 Hybrid, he made my financing paperwork easy by collecting info. via phone in advance, waiting time in the office was none. I also appreciated the friendly atmosphere in the office and the service deptartment. I am also very pleased with the car. Its a very smart and comfortable car to drive. Thank you very much Toyota!
