This guys a rip off, hes great at down sailing other car companies. However, the vehicles run they dont let you drive away without a reliable running vehicle purchased from them. Theyre always willing to help with any problems you may have with vehicle afterwards. Even though hes a rip-off hes about as Fair as you can expect a car salesman to be, and at least he still takes care of his customers.

I got lucky here the vehicle I bought was new on the lot. If I did not buy it when I saw and test drive it it would have not lasted on the lot. Ive been buying new and used cars from the big box dealerships in Reno since the seventies. It was a joy and a relief to receive the service I did from manager Derek and my salesman Trais. What a team both very professional and friendly. The big box sales pressure is not here at this store. They left all decisions up to me what ever I wanted to do was up to me. Again no sales pressure at all. After the purchase I could not pick up the vehicle right away and it was no problem with this store. When I did return it was clean and they even added some gas to the tank. Something big box stores miss time after time. I highly recommend High Sierra Auto Sales their cars are clean and gone through. You wont be disappointed with the sales team either. This store ROCKS!

If you notice they change employees often, dont think they do good business so they cant keep good employees. They sell nice looking cheap cars. Price lower than some others, because you get what you pay for. Read some of the reviews and talk to prior customers. Bought a car from them only 66k miles. next day check engine light came on, cylinder 5 misfire... will not pass smog with this code. 24k dollars spent on a car that now needs a cam and they quoted me 2300$ to fix it. owner will not stand by the cars he sells do not buy from this dealer!!!!! and go figure lol they have their own smog station...

If I could give zero stars I would. Bought an Acura from them on 1/26 with struts that needed to be Replaced and whine coming from the belts. They finally did the struts today (two weeks later almost) and didn’t align the vehicle or address the engine noise. They will act nice and rush you out. Just avoid them all together they aren’t trustworthy and only care about money. Thanks for screwing me over guys. Thanks a lot. 👎Also per Todd’s reply- they did not align my car after the promised repair and he has not contacted me as I’ve asked the sales person Francisco to have him contact me over ten times. High Sierra doesn’t take repair or customer service serious or I would’ve been called and there would be compromise. This is the worst vehicle purchase I’ve ever had and I’m still sticking to my review. This is one of the worst dealerships in town and they avoid repairs at all cost. If todd really wants to make things better he would’ve called me and we could’ve talked it out. So this got worse I found out the cars miles were rolled back. I found through car fax which they didn’t check or inspect this Acura. They took it back because they knew they are liable. Still doesn’t make what I went through. So it continued and that’s why it needs to be back up for the public. Bought an Acura MDX and had constant issues within the first month I spent over 1k on repairs then found out dealer turned miles back. Now I’m stuck with a high mileage Mercedes and I’m going to finally figure out my rights and follow up with dmv enforcement. They didn’t try to find me a car after fraudulently writing me a loan on a car with well over 200k that had “122k” then they went and resold the car. I just wanted my Denali back but they didn’t try to find me the car I wanted or get me my car back. Instead I was groomed into the vehicle they wanted me in. At the end the sales person wrote it all up and I noticed my denali trade was gone. When I asked why his response was “we figured since the price on the Mercedes you forfeit the Denali.” I should’ve left long before that post but that was the one where it should’ve been over. Now I have a vehicle larger than I wanted and they also left two loans open in my name for almost the entire corona shutdown. Thanks again for putting me in the most uncomfortable position to purchase anything in my life. They clearly do not inspect their vehicles as when the air filters were changed we found what looked like a rat nest in my intake above my maf sensor, transmission fluid the came out was filthy, suspension after 2k miles is making terrible noises, sunroof leaks really bad and so I can’t high pressure wash it, key has issues and locks itself inside the car, the locks should have easy access on all four doors but are damaged and will repeatable lock itself over and over to the point I turn the music up, during covid while I was on furlough they let two loans stay open one being the Acura and it was fraud in the first place if they would’ve went under I would’ve been responsible for both loans. This caused me a lot of stress when I was already very stressed. This needs to be brought to light to dmv enforcement and I have all the paperwork from the Acura sell and everything that I plan on showing them.10/23/20 to the Owner that texted me a few days ago that knows I’m extremely unsatisfied so clearly I will never come near your business or recommend anyone to come near you. You’ve made zero attempts to make this right.

Our Machanic is amazing! He fixed my mirror, headlight, and buffed my car today. They also did an amazing job on our other cars broken door last month. Brought my car in to have check engine light looked at, couldnt pass smog !!!!Brian hooked up his computer, walked to the front of my car, an diagnosed the problem in 5min.It was a warranty problem, he called the company got the ok for the work that needed to be done. Had to wait a day for the part, next day it was installed by a certified mechanic, factory parts. In what seemed to me very little time.I would recommend this very professional business to everyone. Already recommended them to a co-worker that has the same problem that I had.

Drove 5 hours from San Francisco to Reno to see a specific car at this dealer, and they told me it just sold when I got there. I had been communicating via text with a salesman at this lot the day before, and confirmed that I would arrive at a specific time to test drive this car. I was never notified that the car sold until I arrived, I am very disappointed to say the least. Just happens to be my birthday today as well, happy birthday to me huh?

This was not my first car purchase but I do have a thin credit profile. They worked with me on the timeline and the down payment and even took the car I wanted off their listings so no one else could swipe it while I was getting everything together. I have had some issues with the car and as stressful as that is alone .The crew at High Sierra has made it easier. They have loaned me a loaner car so I am not incovienced not once but twice. They really have showed me that I made a right choice when I walked on their lot to purchase a car. Ive never been to a dealership that treated me like High Sierra auto sales did today. They made it so easy for me and helped me through the whole process really good! I will recomend everyone.

High Sierra Auto Sales is very patient and very helpful. They got me the best deal that I had been able to find, I thank them.

I would give the rating a zero if possible. They had a car Id been searching for on their lot and couldnt wait to take a look. When me and my husband arrived, we werent greeted. When we walked inside, whoever was in the office never introduced themselves and didnt even care that we were there. Didnt seem interested in our business. My husband test drove the car while me and my baby girl stayed inside. I tried to ask about negotiations since the car was priced higher than its value, and the guy never looked my way, seemed uninterested, and even answered the phone in the middle of me talking to him. I let him know we would have about $2000 or more dollars cash for down payment, a potential trade (clean title and all), and we have decent credit scores (over 700 score a piece) and still no interest. He cared more about looking out the window at the customers who WERE NOT there than the ones staring at him in the face in his office.Though we loved the car on the lot, I wish it was at a different dealership. The uninterested attitude and rude behavior makes me and my husband want to never go back here again. I emailed the guy about the car, our interest, and still whoever answered back (no name was on the email) didnt care. If they were this way before getting business started, how were they going to be when we actually put our credit in and paid...The guy acted as if 50 million people were running down the street begging for their cars (I only saw me and my husband on the lot). Since they acted like they didnt want our business or money, they lost it. We went down the street to people who were interested, nice, and seemed genuine in helping us get a car.Customer service sucked and this was over the course of a couple of weeks of trying to contact them with interest. I dont care what the owner says (I saw the ugly unprofessional comments left for the other person who had a bad experience... which explains why there are no people there), this place is not worth the stop. They acted like they didnt want the business, so they didnt get it. Simple as that.

Went here as they had they specific vehicle we were looking for, a chevy trailblazer.They got us a loan at a terrible rate, but we expected that being young and no credit history. We thought we purchased a well running car but within a month or so figured out it was a lemon. We were forced to pay $300 a month for the first three months for full mechanical issues insurance as part of our deal for the vehicle. We had an issue with the lights turning out while driving, the side mirror didnt work, the back right window motor went out, the check engine light came on, and there was antifreeze bubbling in the coolant compartment. We brought it in and had the window issues fixed in a about a week. The check engine light, we were told it was a bad gas cap. They replaced it. (We found out later the vehicle actually has a specific warning light for a missing/faulty gas cap, so that was a blatant lie.) Im assuming they reset the computer to get rid of the check engine light, as it eventually came back on...As for the coolant bubbling and overheat issue, they said they found nothing wrong with that, but had replaced the alternator after sitting at their mechanic for ONE MONTH. AN ENTIRE MONTH. So we got our car back with an unsolved issue at the end of our three month warranty, how perfectly convenient...we ended up bringing the car to a certified mechanic and it turns out the radiator fan was actually falling off its pivot point and literally scraping plastic and not working properly, therefore making the coolant hot and overheating. Thats a $700 fix they obviously wanted to avoid. At 4 months of having the car, there was a squeeling noise coming from both front tire areas. The mechanic said that the wheel bearings were tightened 3x tighter than they are supposed to be, which caused them to be shot, although they looked new. $800. As fixing the bearings, the mechanic also noticed the brake calipers were the incorrect size, causing them to crack and wear disproportionately. The only positive is them working with you to get into the car, but after that they could care less. EXTREMELY disappointed and would never suggest to anyone.

Terrible experience. Todd was the only decent person there... Jorge is a joke and his new little assistant, Diana isnt too professional also. Went in to get a car, filled out the credit app, they told me the banks were closed and would have to get back to me tomorrow. Next day Diana texted me for more info amd she got it. Waited and waited with no response so I texted back. 3+ times with no answer. I even offered to put down more money and still nothing... So, I made a post on Facebook looking for a vehicle and some guy tags Jorge and he tells me to come in to the same place. I told him I did and they left me hanging with no response and that it wasnt good business to do that to a customer. Jorge then deleted his comment after I called him out and was a complete douche in a direct message. Terrible customer service... Its not like Im dealing with a Ferrari dealership here. Lets be real...

High Sierra Auto Sales illegally sold me a vehicle and refused to talk to me.I purchased a Ford F-250 from High Sierra Auto Sales. The check engine light came on twice after purchasing the vehicle at which time I took the truck to Dynamic Diesel for a complete diagnostic. Dynamic Diesel informed me that the vehicle had an EGR Delete kit installed which is illegal in Washoe County. The EGR delete kit had also led to blown head gasket, the total cost of repair would be $5,628.18. When I purchased the truck Jeffery Corman, the owner, he assured me that the vehicle was sound and had been completely checked by TNT auto repair. After receiving the information from Dynamic Diesel, I took the truck to TNT. They looked the vehicle over and checked their records; they had no record of that truck ever being there. I informed Dario, an employee at High Sierra Auto Sales, of the findings. At first he seemed cooperative; it appeared that he realized the mistake they had made and made arraignments for me to meet with Jeffery Corman the owner. After talking to Dario, I talked with the DMV Compliance Enforcement office, they confirmed that the sale of the vehicle was illegal and asked that I bring the truck in for inspection in order to start the investigation. I informed the DMV that High Sierra Auto sales seemed to be cooperative, which he responded was the best option at the time. When I showed up at to meet Jeffery, he was not there. Dario said he had talked to the owner and they were willing to pay $500 towards the repairs. I asked again to talk to Jeffery, he told me that I would never be able to talk to him. I was then stuck with a vehicle that is essentially illegal to drive in Wahoe county and High Sierra Auto Sales refused to do anything about it.The Nevada Department of Vehicles investigation of the sale of this vehicle concluded that High Sierra Auto Sales had in fact sold me a non-compliant vehicle. The main point behind that needs to be made is that the owner miss represented the vehicle, stating on more than one occasion that the truck had been thoroughly inspected by TNT Automotive. If this inspection had actually taken place, he would have to disclose all the major problems that were identified during the inspection as well as any repairs that had been done while the vehicle was in his possession. If that had been done, I would have not purchased the vehicle.High Sierra Auto Sales made it clear from the beginning that they were not going to do any more than the law required. From the first time I approached them with my problem, I was met with denial and a refusal to accept any responsibility for their product. Further contact resulted in outright intimidation, telling me that they would not pay for any repairs. They would not talk to me until the DMV intervened and told them they needed to make a deal or they would be ordered to make repairs. This is no way to run a business. The quality of the vehicle I purchased was only part of the problem; the deception, intimidation, and refusal to stand behind their product made my experience with High Sierra one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. High Sierra Auto Sales is a stain on the Better Business Bureau’s list of approved business.Used Car Sales people don’t have a good reputation, High Sierra Auto Sales is the reason why. These are the WORST sort of people and I would highly recommend taking your business someplace else.
