Less than 6 months ago I brought my 2014 Mini Cooper in for engine repairs. I was told everything was fixed for now and that the only thing I had to worry about was getting my water pump replaced in a year along with a couple other minor repairs. Flash forward to yesterday I’m driving back to Reno from San Francisco and my car breaks down on the of the road. Turns out the engine they claimed to ‘fix’ is now totaled. I no longer have a car but you can bet the second I am able to afford a new one it won’t be a Mini Cooper.
Great service, always makes sure that everything they are going to do is explained upfront with costs, expect dealership prices but if you sign up for emails theres some good deals like the 3 years unlimited oil changes for $199. Just a cool place to hang out if you have a short wait for Mini aficionados.
I did not buy my Mini from this Dealer. However the car is new to me. The vehicle had an extended warranty. This dealer got all the cosmetic and mechanical plus service issues covered at no cost to me as the warranty said they would. The invoice was extensive. The advisor Llyod went above and beyond. He worked with the warranty company and it was seamless. The dealership facilities are outstanding. My service writer Llyod is excellent at his position. His help and willingness to please a new mini owner was well beyond my expectations. The techs were knowledgeable and friendly parts person Mark was also very accommodating. I am excited to return and have them complete the work. This is an awesome place to do business. The employees I spoke to had all been there over 10 years, and that’s rare in the car business. Kudos Bill Pearce Mini. I can’t wait to come back. You all are awesome!
Phenomenal service, Paula is a gem. The work I had completed was under extended warranty and they were very accommodating for getting me a ride home when the work was not finished. Also emailed me photos of other items that needed to be replaced and were transparent about the pricing, the seriousness of getting the work completed, and timing. I am VERY impressed with her knowledge, kindness, and customer service. Give her a raise!!! :)
I took my car in for service. The employees were super friendly and super helpful. They have a stellar waiting area. The pricing was outrageous though. . $408 to replace a battery!
Its been a GREAT place to take my 2012 mini countryman for service. Both Loyd and Andy in service are great to work with along with Raul in parts have all treated me and my car like family and being new to the Reno area they have been so helpful in many ways. I dont want any problems with my car but if and when it happens I know for a fact were both in good hands.
Great selection of vehicles. Great customer service who are willing to listen to your needs.
I recently purchased a used Mini Cooper Convertible from another dealership. I brought the car in to the MINI of Reno service department to inquire about a symbol on the odometer and about maintenance services and scheduling. Instead of just talking from behind the counter, Paula from the service department walked me out to my car, had me start the vehicle, and then went through all the maintenance items, highlighting when and if I should be concerned. In our brief interaction, Paula demonstrated the three Ps: proactiveness, positivity, and professionalism. Because of Paula, MINI of Reno earned my trust and business for the life of my Mini.
Friendly dealership and also open on Sundays!
I was towed in after hours on a Monday night with my 2006 Cooper S that died as I was entering Nixon, NV. I called about 9 Tuesday morning and spoke with Service Advisor Lloyd Daniels and explained what happened and explain I was heading home to WA State when the engine just died. Lloyd said he would do what he could to get me a reason for why my car died as soon as possible. Well, about 1:30 Lloyd informed me my Supercharger had seized. I told Lloyd the rebuilt Supercharger from DETROIT TUNED was just installed 1,763 miles ago and was under warranty. I had Lloyd start the removal process and I had another rebuilt supercharger delivered Wednesday by 10am. Thursday morning the Supercharger replacement was complete and i was on my way back to WA State. Lloyd keep me well informed throughout the repair process, I am so thankful to the hands on attention he provided me. I was stranded and Lloyd made sure he did whatever was within his control to get me back on the road. Lloyd even called me days after I left Reno to make sure my return trip home was without addition issues. Lloyd Daniels took care of me, knowing I was not going to be a repeat customer, that was not his focus, his focus was taking care of this customer....the one stranded out of town....the customer that needed a friend at his Mini dealer. This customer, found just that friend at Bill Pearce Motors, Mini of Reno, Mr. Lloyd Daniels.
This is an amazing MINI dealership. Its smaller and the customer service is extraordinary. Fatima Lucha was our salesperson and she is friendly, knowledgeable, but most importantly, very patient . Highly recommended!!
I have moved around and been to several MINI dealerships in California and Texas. Experience I had with this dealerships for service/repair was best I had. Thank you Paula!
I like my Salesman, Zeb Parker. He sold my husband and me 2 Minis in the past. I traded my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek for a 2020 John Cooper Works Mini and totally enjoy it!
Lloyd at Service is the man! Always helpful, friendly, and honest. Thanks for being great to some visitors from Oregon!
Very good experience. Zeb, my salesman was helpful but not pushy. here and the managers i spoke with listened and really tried to work with me. they steered me toward the car i actually wanted, not just the most expensive i could afford. i appreciated how well they listened and gelled it about the cars. the showroom is really clean and nice.
Zeb was very nice, knowledgeable and not overly salesy. The showroom is nice and location was good for us coming from Carson City.
Friendly and helpful service visit. The service advisor made sure all the software was up to date in my MINI. They also checked vehicle records and found that the previous owner paid for an extended maintenance package that I was able to make use of. To top it off I got a complimentary car wash.
Just got my 4th Mini. First one at this dealership. Zeb was a blast to work with, really helpful, understanding and down to earth gentleman. Got everything done and wrapped in just a couple hours.I have dealt with the service department already before and everything was always done quickly and painlessly. I can definitely recommend the crew of Mini of Reno.Extra points for the fact there even was a JCW Hardtop available!
Although I did not make my purchase at this location, I feel I owe Zeb a good review. I am really greateful for him to take his time and not being over the top pushy. I only wished they had better selections or else I would made my purchase with him for sure! He will definitely get my priority on our next car.
When you go to MINI of Reno, ask for Zeb. He is very knowledgeable and super low pressure! He is respectful, listened to what I wanted, and found me the perfect MINI that fit within my budget. I definitely give MINI of Reno 5 stars and will refer Zeb to all my family and friends.
They were very thorough with my mini and respectful to my schedule, Fast and fair price.
I just brought home my second Mini bought from Mini of Reno. Zeb and Barry helped me both times and are excellent to work with! This time I custom ordered a Cooper S Hardtop, and the Zeb and Barry team had everything under control. They are super helpful, and did not mind that I was emailing them on a regular basis to get updates while my car was being built and shipped. I would recommend Mini of Reno for sure! Just ask for Zeb or Barry, they will take care of you.
They did an excellent job taking care of our Mini Cooper Countryman. We had gone to another place and gotten a $2000 estimate. We thought the dealer would be more expensive but they fixed the problem for less than $500. They were really nice and did a great job!
The MINI of Reno sales department is exceptional. My salesperson Zeb was professional, friendly, low pressure, transparent, and made the buying process easy and fun. I have purchased many vehicles over the years and this was by far my best car buying experience ever. MINI of Reno makes buying local easy and I love my new MINI. I highly recommend Zeb at MINI of Reno to anyone looking to buy a pre-owned or new MINI, Zeb is awesome!!!
I wont take my car anywhere but Mini of Reno for servicing. I am always satisfied with the work they produce. I highly recommend taking your mini here for servicing and to purchase a mini.
The service department is by far the worst I have ever encountered. I have a 2011 mini with 124,000 miles on it that has needed the engine replaced twice in two years since we started using mini of Reno. The most recent time happened less than a month after the warranty for the new engine expired.... sketchy huh. We spent $1550 on engine repairs only to break down less than ten miles from the dealership, had to get towed back, and now they are telling us we need a new engine... apparently that is our fault somehow because they offered no refund. The only thing they offered was $5,000 towards a new Mini Cooper we had to buy this Labor Day weekend. For someone who has bad credit, lives pay check to pay check, and spent every dime we had to “fix” our car this is a slap in the face. Either mini coppers are POS cars, or the service department at mini of Reno is. I have only ever had my car serviced at a mini dealership. I moved to the Reno area three years ago and started using mini of Reno and that is where all my car troubles began. A 7 year old car shouldn’t need the engine replaced twice, especially within two years. Something is going on with this place and I will get to the bottom of it. I have contacted a lawyer.
The level of service here is AMAZING!!! I looked around for the exact car I wanted and Barry and everyone else at MINI treated me the best out of anywhere else I went. When I finally made my decision they were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and never pushy and got me EXACTLY what I wanted. I couldn’t be happier and I want to thank Barry especially for all of his hard work. Never thought I would say this… but a great car buying experience. I am PROUD to call myself a MINI owner!!!
We purchased a used Mini from Mini of Reno in 2015 and had a great experience. Eric was very professional and spent time educating us on the different models and options. He was never pushy, which was nice and made the experience very pleasant. On the service side, we have been very pleased. We have taken the car in a few times for regular maintenance and always had a great experience. If you need to wait for your car they have a nice waiting area upstairs. The one time that we did have some confusion during the experience the Service Director, Jeff Leathers, personally reached out to ask about the experience and helped clear up the confusion. This place truly does care about building long term relationships with their customers and we look forward to continuing to bring the car here and will likely buy here again in the future.
I have been a customer of Mini of Reno since 2013, and am happily on my second Mini. My sales rep, Zeb has worked with me for both my vehicles, and makes the process so wonderfully smooth and easy. He kept in touch with me, followed up, and remembered my preferences. from the first Mini. All in all, perfect customer service. Alex in finance was wonderful, and even called me after everything was signed and done, to let me know he had found a way to save me even more money on payments! Talk about going above and beyond. This is a company who knows how to do it right. They have great people on their team, and they really take good care of their customers. Thank you Mini, you guys rock!
Looking for a Mini for three months; found the AWD stick I wanted right here. Zeb Parker made the buying hassle free easy and at low blue book. Considering other Minis with less options made this buy fun and with great service it was the Real Deal. Worth staying local with this buy!
Great service and professionalism from service manager Lloyd Daniels.
I was not impressed by the selection they had. They did not tell me about any other option, such as to build my own model. Plus, gave my the lowest offer on a trade in Ive ever heard... 900 below blue book. Powered me $100.00 I sold the car for $1,100.
Great service and very comfortable waiting area.
I want to say this is my best experience of buying a New Mini Cooper, Zeb was so helpful in me buying the 2016 Mini Cooper Countryman, if there was 10 Stars I would give Zeb and the Mini Dealer them. If you are looking for Mini Cooper, go to Reno Mini you have a great experience.
Its hard to get ahold of the parts department, and the parts guy has such a heavy accent its very hard to communicate with him
Ask for Zeb to buy a car, ask for Lloyd for great customer service!
Cool little cars that are fun to drive.
Beautiful waiting area and somewhat fast service
Always s great service from Lloyd..
Cool cars. Eric was very helpful.
Fantastic sales team! Very friendly and helpful!
Watch out for hidden cost when you have maintenance on your car
Always friendly staff, great service
Because of the horrible service department here, we elected to get rid of both of our minis.
Bulldog Beauty Contest was great!
Only downfall is their receptionist, or whoever answers the phone; vague, and unfriendly.Ive owned my Mini for 2 years and I have taken it here few times for parts, and low tire pressure lights, easy things really.
While I didnt have a single problem when I bought my 2014 Mini Hardtop here, getting service on it was horrible. Shortly after buying my car, the washer jets on the hood started to leak. After doing some research, it seems like this is a very common issue with Minis (which could damage the paint on the hood and the racing strips most Minis have) and every year since 2001 there has been a service campaign to fix it. Since the 2014 was so new, there wasnt an official campaign yet, but the same exact steps from the other campaigns would fix the issue. When I took it in for them to fix the issue I was told to first not even leave the car since it wasnt an issue, then I got a call asking why I left the car, then when they finished they called me and said that you cant fix whats not broken. While I was standing there, being treated like utter crap; I called the Sacramento dealership and got an appointment later that day. It took two hours to drive there, an hour at the shop, and two hours back; but they fixed it in less time than it took the Mini dealership to lose a customer.Hopefully Im the rare case here, but I had to escalate my issue with this dealership with Mini USA. Ive never been treated like this before, and I will never go back to this dealership.
