I forgot the gentlemans name that was working today but he was too notch. I sure hope you keep that store around. We stop every time we are in Rapid. Came home to a very grateful 15 year old!

Fast, convenient, not crowded. Staff was amazing! Helped in a very timely manner. Answered every question mostly helped with what I needed mainly wanted.

Id give it 0 stars if I could. I was transferred to this location after the Stumer store closed and I am beyond dissatisfied with this store. I had a bunch of things on pre-order from November 2020, they said they havent received any of it so I kept calling in to check but gave it a break once the new year startedThen I come to find out, my game, headset and God knows what else was CREDITED without my knowledge so Ive been waiting for 4 months to go buy these things and they decided to credit my pre-ordered items without even calling me. My information is all up to date so theres NO EXCUSE for this. Great job taking care of your customers. And it turns out a game I had pre-ordered was already released but I was never informed so that was also credited!! This is unacceptable, this location CLEARLY doesnt care to reach out to the customers about their products when it comes in or if its not going to at all, they just get away with crediting things that had money down on it.

Came in for black ops 3, I saw it preowned on the shelf, the guy came over to ask if we needed help. I tried to be polite and said were looking for black ops 3. Immediately said he was out because of christmas. Confused on why a 6 yr old game would be sold out because of that and seeing it in front of me, I just got anxious and left. Im sure he just wanted me out of the store asap since it was an hour before closing time

Customer Service is always excellent. We are always greeted with a warm and friendly hello. The staff is genuinely interested in helping is find exactly what we are looking for (sometimes we didnt even know we were looking for it)

Went in wanting to buy a Nintendo switch lite which was in the case but the 2 workers decided it was more important to talk to the friends then make any money today stood there for 25 min before I decided it was a sign not to buy anything wont be coming back

There are 3 GameStops in town and this is by far the best one in town. The staff is very helpful and kind. They give their honest opinion about games and systems and are always there to answer any questions. The Southside store would be the second best and the Mall location is way crowded and the service seems fake or nonexistent. I only go to the mall if the other two stores dont have what I am looking for.

Took my boys in there today to spend their birthday money, asked the cashier if my 6 year old could use the bathroom.... cause ya know kids cant hold it like adults can. Dude at the counter told me no and directed me to a different business down the way. Needless to say if you cant have patience and compassion for my kids, they dont need to spend their money in your establishment. Hope the owner knows about this.

By far my favorite GameStop!!! Everyone that works there is so friendly and knowledgeable. They also have such a great selection of both new and used games.

This GameStop is larger than most and always clean and organized. I have never been screwed over by game stop and they have always been more than fair with trade in prices however I always trade in 5 or more and watch out for trade in bonuses. The employees are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in all games. I would recommend this GameStop over the others in rapid.

They have a good selection of PS3 used games.

I was followed by a young lady who worked there. Every time I relocated myself in the store she followed along and watched me and my eight year old. In the past I received really good service at this location so I am willing to put this one on the back burner and see what happens next time.

Customer service was stellar here. It actually involved an employee from the other location. Upon my arrival, I got exactly what I was looking, they even had it ready and waiting for me at the register. I feel both employees went above and beyond, the stellar customer service will stand out for me as a collector. I got the sense that communication is an integral part of the corporate culture for South Dakotas Gamestop locations (#CorporateCultureTheory) and look forward to witnessing this again in the future.

We bought a game that was on sell for 19.99 and when we checked out it became 39.99 and the managers excuse was he was sick and could not update the info

I bought a console over there and the controller that came with it was broken it would turn on and connect to my Xbox but it keep saying “please reconnect your controller” and it even did it on my old Xbox too idk but they’ll never see me again there

Friendly service, half way decent prices and they helped me with my product issue. This is why you go to a brick and mortar store rather than buying online.

Been to this location a few times never really had great experience there and prices are soaring in this company across the board but today i felt very unhappy and will not return to gamestop at any location. Customer service is horrible and multiple items i was looking for where twice the price of an exact item i found on amazon and the one he tried to sell me for all my items where used. So not only is it twice the price its also a used item. Ur system is flawed and i honestly cant believe peopple still shop in gamestops.

These godless hyenas recommended the Guardians of the Galaxy game and hopefully laughed themselves to death after I left. Ill never buy a Telltale game again, and Ill NEVER spend money at this location again. Id wouldnt wish cancer on anyone, but then again I wouldnt sell cancer to anyone either so... Unpleasant staff very unpleasant and the prices they offer for your stuff is a joke. Expect 15 tops for 65 dollar new game that they will sell for 55 used. Game stop seems to have very unhelpful rude staff everwhere you go.

So I went in here today and I ended up striking up a conversation with the guy with the zelda shirt as Im buying my controller. It comes up that I recently moved here from out of state. He makes a big deal of informing me like Im a idiot that it gets cold in the midwest like I havent already lived here in the midwest and colder places before. I get it sd gets cold thank you mr above 30 year old working at a gamestop thank you for telling me have a nice day.

Best Gamestop I have even visited! Employees are always helpful and excited about talking video games, movies, etc. They just seem happy to be there in general! I always get what i feel is a fair price. I mean we are talking video games and electronics they do not hold their value people! Stop expecting to get full retail when you trade in. Be smart and check the Gamestop website for trade in bonus.Gamestop and the employees are great and make me feel welcome every time I visit....even if I dont buy anything!
