I am a new customer and bringing my own equipment with me. Ran into problems with old carrier (T-Mobile) releasing my phones. Got that resolved and received my SIM cards from AT&T in the mail only to discover that one of them was not even mine so I couldnt activate one of my phones. Being somewhat irritated by the problems I was having with switching over to AT&T I decided to go to the local store. I was met almost immediately by a guy who checked me in and immediately turned me over to a rep. I explained the situation to her and she took me to a work station, logged on to my account, saw the problem and was able to get my phone activated. In and out of the store in 15 minutes. Great local customer service!!!

I would like to give a shout-out to all of the staff here at this store super friendly. I was helped immediately as I walked in and the person helping me got everything done in a timely manner. Tim Mohney helped me out and explained everything very well. I would not only recommend AT&T to my friends and family but I would recommend them to this store!
Dylan provided us with AMAZING customer service. He greeted us right away as soon as we walked in the door. He went over the various phones telling us the difference capabilities as well as the difference in pricing. He went above and beyond and helped me fix my bill that had some unique things going on with it. We left the store with a new phone and a lower bill. He helped us so much and he really made us feel like we were the only ones in the store. Thank you for providing exceptional customer service. We greatly appreciate it!!!!
Candace is an absolute rock star! This morning I showed up right at opening and she greeted me and was very professional. I knew exactly what prepaid plan I needed and she got me squared away and out the door in 30 minutes, even after validating my hotspot worked correctly. I was legitimately shocked at how easy and fast my whole experience was! Whatever youre paying Candace, it isnt enough! Keep up the great work!

My Rep, Candace, was expert in solving a new phone transition from a failing one. She actually ended up instructing the support center in getting unrequested equipment not ordered by me off park as their vernacular goes. Until Candace improvised, ATT customer service somewhere in the world could not. Thank goodness for consumate pros like Candace still working at ATT to be able to simply use my equipment.

This is the BEST At&t store Ive been to in 3 states!! I had a complicated billing issue with my business account and the GM Sean personally helped me navigate this and get it figured out. Great service, very friendly and personable staff! Would highly recommend!!

I was recently in the AT&T store in Rapid City for an upgrade on my iPhone, and I was helped by Marissa who was fantastic! I left with no questions unanswered and she was super personable! I will be recommending AT&T to all of my friends and family! Everyone in there was so friendly and willing to help.

Robert went above and beyond with assisting us today. We didn’t make his job easy from changing cellular providers to getting all the latest accessories available to us. However, he hung in there and probably missed a lunch to make sure we left satisfied!
Honestly, Ive always been helped quickly and professionally here. Most of my families numbers where ported from Altel (remember when that was a thing??) and the transition was smooth. And ever since we have had no issues with service either. Also the transition of ownership of DIRECTV was smooth and easy.Also, they actually, legitimately are the fastest provider in Rapid City. 15/10 will be sticking with them.
Lisa Murphy delivered our phones to us and transferred all the contacts, etc, to our new phones, all on a Saturday. She was very friendly and professional and we appreciated her great service.
What a great experience! Dealt with Candace. She was able to answer all of my questions over the phone and even send a picture text to clarify things. When I visited the store it even got better as she was able to deliver on what was promised in addition to finding 2 discounts that weren’t be utilized. I came in yesterday to have my watch checked out So I got Amanda and she helped me to send back my watch and helped me get a new one .. today my new watch was in my door so yes I’m back and she is helping me get my new watch going I would recommend her to everyone. Thank you so much.

I have been a loyal customer for many years. I recently purchased the S21 and the phone ended up being a dud. The speakers would go on and off, the phone would power off on its own, and it would close out of apps on its own. I called 611 and was told the best way to handle my return was to go in store. I drove 1.5 hours - husband and I switched vehicles and I forgot my DL. They said they couldnt sign me into my account without it. This was 3 hours round trip for me, just to fix my phone situation. My husband was home with the kids, so I offered for my husband to send a picture of my DL - NO, I offered to sign into my account, proving I knew my sign in information and passcodes - NO, offered them proof of insurance and title to my car ALL with my name on it - NO, 3 hours round trip and they could have cared less. The male manager was more concerned if the return would count against his store than he was about the problems I was having. I Called 611 again and they processed my return. My husband and I will be switching to Verizon very soon. Why does AT&T make it easier to do things over the phone than in person? Why can I go to my bank and withdraw money with my account information, but cant process a return for a phone with all the proof a person could have given? I havent been so mad in a very long time. I understood they needed proof of identity and I had all the proof they could have needed.

My boyfriend and I switched over from Verizon and T-Mobile. Overall it has been a great choice. Marissa is the person we always request to work with if we need anything. She made the transfer process SO easy and helped us find the best plan and options for us to be able to get brand new phones, while paying a better monthly payment than we were at our previous services. AUSTIN IS A SUPERSTAR!! I had talked to 24 AT&T reps, 2 AT&T managers, visited 2 AT&T stores, & traveled nearly 500 miles & noone could figure out why my phone stopped working. My tower had been worked on & for 3 weeks my phone, which is 4g & should work, didnt at home, but worked everywhere else I traveled. I had spent hours trying to resolve my problem, but noone could figure it out. Then I met Austin. He was familiar with the issue in my area, my phone & my tower. I was skeptical, but after I traveled the 130 miles back home, my phone worked!! AUSTIN, TAKE A BOW!!

Marissa was awesome! I am not very tech savvy and she helped me get my phone set up and showed me how to use it.
When I went in with the intention of signing a new, more expensive contract, I was told I had to pay off my old phone for double that I signed that contract for. It was $10/month, 13 months left. I was told by a store representative I owed $280 because I was paying it off early. The representative was rude, snapped at me, and raised his voice at me when I tried to ask questions about my old contract. This has left a very bad taste in my mouth and will be reconsidering my business with AT&T.
The lady in the store was rude & didnt know anything about the product they sell & was unwilling to do anything. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will be sending this junk back they sold to me, Horrible customer service!

My brother and I currently switched off of our parents account and Marissa made the process quick and easy while getting us everything we asked for! I went here yesterday to trade in my phone and to get cell service. I got my cell service but when i traded in my phone for the iPhone SE project red edition, there was nothing else in the box when i watched many videos on youtube unboxing it and it came with AirPods and a charger. For me, it came with a cord and a manual and i was looking forward to the AirPods as i have never had them before.

We all know Att’s customer service line is terrible, and attempting to do things on the app (in my experience) has never worked out. I have also needed to visit stores in other locations I have lived in including Bismarck, ND, Denver, CO, and Mobile, AL. These experiences left me dreading ever going to att stores in person. This location in Rapid City, SD has hands down been the friendliest and most helpful. Today, Sean helped me with an upgrade after attempting to do it via the app (they cancelled more order for me, for some reason) and the customer service line only seemed to want to waste my time. I walked in after making an appointment at this location wanting an iPhone 11 and walked out with exactly what I requested and a better family phone plan at a more affordable rate. Sean also went the extra mile to help me apply a screen protector to my phone I didn’t buy from att. I also bought a new screen protector for another family phone that Sean applied expertly. I highly recommend this location- do not fear going in, even COVID precautions were plentiful! Sean deserves a raise. Give Sean a raise.
I have never done a review and not even sure if I am doing the stars right but I saw the post about the manager Lisa and I had to add my two cents. I have been coming to this store for years and Lisa is always so kind and nice and helpful with any issues my family has ever had. I was mortified when I was in there last week and overheard a rep, Cartier, telling and really coaching a customer to complain about this same manager. He was specifically telling her what to put in the review?! I was mortified that someone would be so cruel and blatantly lie. I will never ever recommend anyone to work with Cartier. I’m not sure if the rep I was working with overheard it or not but I was literally sick to my stomach listening to it.

There are only 2 people at this location that I will deal with when I go in store. Dylon and Clayton are absolutely amazing and will be the only reason I will deal with that location. They always manage to solve my issues and are always able to help me do what I need to get done. They do not push for me to spend more money than I want to and they actually care about the customers.

The one star reflects my visit today which was awful. Previous visits I have worked with Robert, Marcial, and the manager Lisa and those guys are fabulous. Today however the rep, Candace, could not have been more rude or less helpful. If she was someone I had to deal with before this visit I probably wouldn’t still be a customer. She was dismissive and not friendly at all. I realize it was a technical issue which she probably wouldn’t get paid for but I needed the assistance. Do not recommend working with Candace.

We have a been a loyal customer for years. These last few months an added charge appeared on our bill. This upset my husband so he went to talk to a sales person at AT&T at the Eglin store. The sales person was sarcastic and rude to my husband and said “Our job is to get the customer. But our job is not to keep the customer.”Good-bye AT&T hello Verizon! After sharing with the Verizon sale lady our rude treatment from this AT&T she welcomed us and said she would work with us and keep us.
The AT&T employee Amanda Fankhauser was fantastic to work with very knowledgeable and very professional what a pleasure she was to work with.
Dylan was extremely helpful and patient since we wanted to change over to two new phones from two other carriers and keep our phone numbers. It took awhile to get everything set up, but he was cheerful the entire time. He even helped us setup Direct TV on our phones before the service is connected at home!
Reps have always been willing to dig deeper into my account answering any questions I may have. Also very thorough and knowledgeable on products, deals and explanations. Left feeling cared about and appreciated. No surprises and a smile on my face. Thanks again AT&T!

I have been with at&t for years and years loved the service loved the friendly atmosphere always got good service... until I wanted to add my friend to my plan cause I wanted to help her out and I was due for an upgrade. Long story short the lady who helped us which was the manager btw. Set me and her up with 3 phone plans... I was supposed to have the one plan with me and my friend on it... got a bill in December for 1,400... I go in to see what’s up I get told I don’t know what’s wrong I can’t help you, you gotta call corporate. “Me” well isn’t there something you can do here cause this was your mistake. “Manager” nope I didn’t do anything wrong you haft to call corporate I can’t help you... when In fact she could have.. I wasn’t rude or mean I was more shocked than anything with the rudeness and her being so Arrogant. I’m done doing business with at&t after that. I wouldn’t recommend it either unless you want what happened to me to happen you.From a loyal 6 year customer... former loyal customer I should say.Now to top everything off the phone bill was supposed to be 200 to 210 a month... nope it’s 400 a month... if I could give negative stars I would :| this really screwed me over.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience there today ensured I will never visit an AT&T store again. We were trying to get a promo deal on a phone and the sales person kept bothering us to get direct tv. They were not letting up or seeing our polite cues that we didnt want it. Also not up front about requirements for the phone to be traded in but after we got scammed into an unlimited plan for all of our phones and after declining direct TV all of a sudden our old phone didnt meat the criteria for trade in and we had to get the regular price but they wouldnt get rid of the unlimited data and said we had to call customer service to do that. Then the new phone wasnt updating quick enough so we went out to the car so we wouldnt be solicited anymore and we were mad. My husband went in to see if our kids phone was done yet and he wasnt pleasant about it (threatened to leave without them)which our kid later told us that the sales rep said if my husband were to leave them there they would give our kid a ride home. How is that even ok? I then called customer service to get everything on my plan back to normal. So yeah, the sales rep we dealt with was not honest or up front and kept trying to push direct tv. The worst. I dont really want to hear back from you guys because the damage is done.
It is the single most horrible costumer service experience of my whole life time!! This happened about a month ago because I couldnt find this store on google maps so I am writing a review now to warn people of the absolute disrespect and lack of customer service here. Anyway, so I walked in and they asked the usual how may I help you? I told them I want to buy the new Galaxy S6, how much will it cost off contract? then she pulls some random, high number out of her ass.. that will cost you $900 with out a contract she said almost frantically as if to intimidate me into signing up for a contract. I tried to tell her theres no way, I know its not that high! it should be around $607-$647 but before I could even get the words out of my mouth she interrupts me at least 3 times and then appears to be upset now that I have corrected her. so I walked away to see how much it was, as I walked away I was told someone would be with me shortly... it was $647 as I had mentioned. so now I wanted to buy it off contract as I had planned to do in the first place. so I waited and waited for someone to help me as I looked at other phones. by this time I had waited for about half a hour and the store had been completely flushed out with new customers than what It had when I walked in. Now I was so fed up with the lack of customer service plus the initial horrible greeting I received on my way in that I did not even bother to ask anyone else for help, and so I walked out of the store. on my way out I noticed the greater smirking and glaring at me on my way out the door and never said another word to me. at that point I vowed to my self, I will never come back here ever again! and so I havent. dont buy from these people. if they lack in the most basic professional customer service skills imagine the damage they could do to youre pocket book. and theres my two cents.
Horrible customer service.. The first salesman tried to talk us out of getting a new phone!! Then he realized his English wasn’t good enough to help us properly so he just walked away... the second salesmen was more polite but still left me feeling he either had a lack of knowledge about the promotion they had or he was just flat out dishonest?? Either way poor customer service.. even the manager told us “all we want is your cell plan” and “we could care less where you buy your phone”.. I would recommend that you just save your time and go elsewhere...
I recently had a disastrous situation with my phone and family plan with my ex-girlfriends father and needed it taken care of immediately. The representative not only explained the problem more clearly to me, but was able to solve the problem and seriously take unneeded stress away from me! He really new his stuff!!! Thank you AT&T 😎

It is impossible to find good customer service within AT&T. They have made it impossible to get simple questions/concerns answered, and are obviously not too worried about keeping anyones business. Ive been with them for multiple years, and my bill has continued to increase significantly with no explanation. I will never recommend them and will be terminating my relationship with them asap.
We have a Small business account with 5 lines. Billing was not correct in three different charges, so we considered that talking to a real person would be easier than making phone calls to sort this out.We walked in and were greeted by a big smile. As soon as we pulled out the bills and pointed out the problems, the sales person got borderlined rude, the manager that was called for help had about as much knowledge about AT&T contracts as the sales person (=very little to none) and we walked out thoroughly frustrated and mad, without being helped at all.Calling AT&T and using the AT&T community forum actually solved all problems (adding up to $380) in almost no time.Rapid City store? Even if we wanted an additional line (and we do) - this is the absolutely LAST place I would ever set my foot in again.
Great customer service, I didnt have to wait in line, solved my problem with my sim card in minutes. Switched my carrier a year ago havent had no major problems since. High recommend AT&T good job guys.

Very poor customer service & manager lacks integrity. I had added two lines and cancelled in 13 days. I continued to be charged for the two lines so I went to this store, paperwork in hand showing the cancellation. The manager reviewed my paperwork and said it was not valid and that I had not cancelled the two lines. I was charged outrageous fees because, despite the documentation, I did not cancel my services within the required time.I am now a loyal Verizon customer.

Awful experience. Went in to transfer two phone numbers since Verizon is disconnecting service in our area. The visit started out alright and we received pretty good service from one of the representatives. However, she was having issues transferring our phones so went to the manager for assistance.Right off the bat, this guy is a jerk. Just condescending, sarcastic, and rude, extremely unprofessional. I wish I could remember his name but this was about a month ago. After about 20 minutes with him also having trouble porting the numbers he walks away to make a phone call. Upon returning he made up some excuse about the numbers not being transferable to get us out of the store.Heres the kicker, weve already ported a number from the same Verizon account to the same AT&T account with the same exchange number (which was apparently the issue), a bit strange that its impossible now. Gave him the benefit of the doubt since things can change and left the store. Went to a different AT&T store a couple weeks later when we were out of town and they had the transfers complete in no time at all, apparently it wasnt impossible.This place is just awful.
Slow customer service. Also, dont even bother calling as they dont answer the phone. I actually was in the store when it wasnt busy and tried calling, just to see if they would answer at a time I knew it wasnt busy. Nope. I heard it ring. Someone muted it. Tried again, no audible ring, they again didnt answer. Tried a third time, again they didnt answer. 3 people not helping anyone, and they couldnt be bothered to answer a phone. Thats typical of the kind of customer service I get every time I walk in this door. If there was another AT&T store within a 2 hour driving radius, Id probably make the drive elsewhere. Its that bad.
Based on my lack of customer service from anyone in the store answering the phone I give this place a 1 star. It is very discouraging and frustrating when calling a phone store and no one answers. Ive called multiple times at different times and no one answers the phone. How can I be sure these employees are able to assist me with my phone issues when no one is able to answer the store phone. AT&T is supposed to have great customer service and assist customers with their phone needs. Today I have yet to feel like a valued customer. If it werent for other variables keeping me with AT&T, after the lack of service I have received today I would have switched providers by now.
Terrible customer service. They do not give you all the information you need and are not very honest. If at all possible take your business elsewhere or order online.

They sell smartphones with dubios arguments. If you want your money back, they let you wait for an hour. Very disappointing!

Switched from Verizon to AT&T. I still get great coverage and better customer service. My monthly bill is less then half that Verizon was charging me. Thank you AT&T.

The worst customer service here. I have gone in twice in the past week to upgrade to a Galaxy S8+ and waited over an hour one day, and nearly 45 minutes today. There are hardly any other customers in there, but a whole gaggle of employees sitting around. After 30 minutes I complained to an employee that walked by me and she said that they are short staffed and that I was next. I had been next the entire time I had been there. I have used this company for over a decade, but I am so fed up with the lack of service in my area.
