We have purchased many items from each of the Fischers stores, the staff is educated, friendly and quick to meet our needs. Our most recent purchase was a washer and dryer a set they are beautiful and because the sales associate took the time to know we needed a unit for our large family. He found us a beautiful GE set. The price was so good originally I was only going to purchase a washer, but was able to buy amatched set! Thanks again Fischers

With all the shipping delays recently, they were upfront about the length of time it could take to get new furniture. Mary was a great help to us choosing our first sectional (in fact, our first brand-new couch!). She was so patient and helpful, showing us pieces, texting us photos and sales, and helping us find what really worked in our specific space and with our family. We really enjoyed working with her and love our new sectional! And we love Fischers Christian values of being closed on Sundays so their employees can rest, worship and be with family. Our experience at Fisher’s is consistently a great experience! We request to have Joe because he is kind, knowledgeable, and patient with us! Our most recent experience he walked us through picking the perfect sectional for us! So much to choose from at his store and everyone is always so friendly when you walk in the door. I would not go to any other furniture store bc at Fisher’s we will consistently be heard and be put in good hands.
It was a huge hassle and a long process playing phone tag with customer service when trying to replace our mattress. When we upgraded to a new one the woman that helped us was not very helpful and made the process even harder. We were told we would get a promotional $300 gift card with our last purchase and still have never received it. When I called and inquired about it I was told it would be within 90 days of our furniture delivery. It has now been well over that time frame and we still have yet to receive it. We do not plan to spend our money here in the future.

I would like to tell you about our experience with purchasing a stove dishwasher and the refrigerator i have been wanting. We walked in this store and with in An hour we owned the three appliances. Our sales person Jim was great and he matched prices and My husband went away very very happy. This was not our first purchase with them. 2008 we bought a full house of furniture and we loved it.
My son and I came in and we were looking for a power reclining sofa and The salesman Jeff was very helpful and full of knowledge about the sofa we were looking for. Thank you so much
My experience with Fischer has left me wishing I had gone elsewhere. I purchased a living room set (two couches and two end tables) the first week of October 2020. They were delivered several days later, and each piece arrived damaged. I contacted our salesman who promptly got a hold of the service manager and a service tech was sent out for repairs. He was unable to fix the broken couch, so they arranged to swap it out with the floor model. The floor model that was delivered was a completely different color and had different switches for the power recline functions (assuming it was an older model). They then returned our previously damaged couch and said they would order parts. This was mid-October 2020. By January 2021, I had not received any information as to the replacement parts, so I attempted several times to contact the service manager. He would not answer my calls or return my messages. I again tried to contact him several times in March with no luck getting a hold of him. I emailed our salesman and explained the situation to him. Shortly thereafter, I received a voicemail from the service manager stating the manufacturer was not shipping replacement parts, so they put me on the list for a new couch. Now in May 2021, I have yet to receive the new couch or any updates on when it might arrive. I again tried to contact the service manager, who did not answer, and has not returned my call. I understand that there are manufacturing and shipping delays due to the pandemic, but it has now been seven months and I still have an unusable couch and NO communication from Fischer’s. I am extremely disappointment with their customer service and complete lack of communication. The only good thing I can comment on is the salesman who was very friendly and helpful. Consider your options wisely before shopping here.
My girlfriend and I went in looking for a new sofa for our house and a very handsome and helpful sales person greeted us and gave us no pressure we went to several other store and we ended up buying from Fischer’s because we felt no pressure from the sales person at Fischer’s it was a very pleasant experience 100 percent I will be back to Fischer furniture
Had a fantastic experience recently purchasing furniture for our bedroom. It was time to upgrade and Mary was so helpful and friendly. We shopped around prior to coming to Fischer’s and discovered they truly are the lowest price in town. Would definitely recommend shopping here!

We purchased a reclining sofa a couple years ago with the protection plan for if something were to happen to it Fischer’s would repair or replace it. Late last year the reclining mechanism broke and the springs in the chair started falling out. We called in February to utilize the protection plan. The service employee came out to evaluate the furniture, document everything, take pictures. About a week later, I called him to check in on the status and he said that parts have been taking about three weeks. Four weeks later (March), I tried calling him to get an update to see if the parts are still on order or waiting to be scheduled to be repaired, however, I have still yet to be able to get ahold of someone in the service dept. I have called the service line weekly since then trying to get an update leaving messages. Late last week (we are near the end of May) I called the store instead of going through service and was told that he is out this week for a funeral and that she will take a message and get back to us. I am sorry for his loss, but I have yet to receive a call back from our call back in March. We aren’t even getting a runaround, we are being blown off completely. Customer service has significantly gone down hill since our purchases and I am now convinced that their protection plan is a sham. I would like to get this issue resolved!

Just want to give a shout out to Jeff Miller in sales. We have purchased a couch, love seat, chair, and new bed from him in the past. We recently went in to add a new dinning room table to our home and he remembered us. He has been nothing short of fabulous to us. If we have questions, he immediately is there to help us. His knowledge of the furniture in the store is exceptional. Great customer service. Give this guy a raise!!!
I ordered a couch set and a recliner in October 2020. I was told I would receive it 10-12 weeks. I got rid of the big couch to make room, our chaise has an accumulating hole, hence purchase of new furniture.It is June 15th, 2021. In January when I called about my furniture, they cant tell me when it will arrive. February, we cant check on it or tell you.March we go into look for a new set, however if we order something else we could be waiting the same amount of time!!! I wasnt told until then that they are waiting on fabric- which I was not told it wasnt available when I ordered the sectional. Then told the company the recliner I ordered is slower than the company I ordered my sectional from.April- we are receiving a truck at the end of the month,but I cant tell you if its on it etc, etc...May, I will call and check on the recliner, heard nothing back.Today, its a town of small population, they are giving people gas money to come in and work because they are short staffed, they are slow company, could be July now, we are getting a truck in July but I cant tell you if its on the truck!!Seriously, why didnt I just order off the internet. Shop local, why its just a glorified showcase of items and you can not tell me when my furniture will be here. I have nails coming through my couch!! My sister ordered a month before me and got hers in December, parents ordered a month after me received in February.This was to be my 1st set of new furniture since 1998!! I have had the same furniture and this was the 1st time I could afford something nice!! Its been paid in full too! Thanks for making my shopping experience miserable. I will never ever buy from Fisher again. I will drive to Denver next time. I understand we had a pandemic, but if you can not tell your customers or inform them of an order, that is ridiculous.
We ordered our living room furniture from Fischer Furniture in on April 12, 2021. We paid cash. We were told we were first in line for our couch and loveseat set with ottoman. We recieved each item, one at a time many weeks apart. Was told would be here by May but was way later. We also still have not received our recliner and it is 4 months later. Every time we call, we are told we will need to speak to our salesman. When we finally get him on the phone he makes it sound like we are bugging him. We have been very understanding with Covid and companies having a hard time finding workers. The furniture is amazing, just wish we had it all. We have shopped here many many times and never had this problem before. Will be using a different sales person next time.
Teri was very helpful when i was shopping for new furniture at Fischer.She took the time to look up various options for what I was looking for.I was able to choose what I liked that day and picked up the two recliners a couple of days later when I had something to load them in. Still waiting for the loveseat (only reason for the 4 stars) hopefully it will be here soon.
UPDATE: Bought chair on Friday, Notified them Saturday, Repairman was here Monday. Corrected issue. Serviceman was great. ORIGINNAL Post. Service outstanding. Chair I bought was defective, will require repair or replacement.
Waited 4 months for couch then it was additional 2 months later than the date they said. Now has been stuck on a truck at the store for over 2 WEEKS unbelievable!
My daughter Kelsie paid online before we traveled all the way to Rapid City SD to pickup the twin mattresses for her two childrens beds and someone at the counter made a remake about I am not letting you leave without paying for them twin mattresses after he said they had 5 in store..Instead of looking for her sales person to help her he decided to make remarks that where rude and uncalled for! Other people who where there in customers services did a better job at locating her paperwork and getting the items she paid for too! 😥😅 Not the best place to pay online and pickup could of been at lot better because It took us 2 hours to drive and went straight to the store and had to wait for about 1 hour or So to get paperwork done and make sure they had two mattresses in storage behind the store!..She paid online @1:00 pm and I drove to pick her up at her apartment around 1:30pm to make it before 4: 00pm it was a long night!..

The England brand is very versatile for being able to choose color schemes, which we liked.We plan on remodeling our basement in the near future and plan on purchasing more furniture with Fischers.Thank you for the great service and hot dogs.
I love how big this place is and they have great furniture. I thought the bed match thing was interesting. You lay on the bed and it tells you what type of bed fits for your needs. I didnt go with any of the beds here because I didnt find any of them to be comfortable but it may be interesting for someone else. There wasnt a huge selection of beds compared to other furniture.
Seek another store. Furniture staff does not follow up or provide status in furniture that has been on order for more than 9 months. If you want excuses... they have lots of them and provide absolutely nothing but them. If asked for help by an associate named Sherry Lynn, find another associate.
Excellent experience! The sales people aren’t pushy and they had a fabulous selection of sofas and chairs. Due to overwhelming demand, we weren’t expecting to find something we loved in stock but the set we loved was available and delivered in a week. The delivery guys were very friendly and helpful too.

My husband and I went out looking for a bed and frame on Saturday. We went to several places and felt a little overwhelmed with not being directed on choosing the right bed. We decided to go over to Fischer Furniture Clearance Center and when we walked in we were greeted and welcomed by David. He Right away looked in the computer to see what beds were in stock. He took us over to the bigger part of Fisher Furniture and showed us some options. We were then interested in an adjustable Frame with a certain mattress, so him and another gentleman changed the mattress on the adjustable frame to the one we wanted so we could test it out. This was exceptional in our book! More than great customer service and we will continue to purchase out furniture from Fischer Furniture.
We have been long time customers of Fischer but after our most recent experience we may have to take our future purchases elsewhere.I order a king captains bed from their Gallary store two end tables and a gentleman chest. I picked out my pieces, placed my order, paid for delivery, and paid a large amount of my purchase up front and would pay for the rest before it was delivered. Our previous purchase were under my significant others name but I gave very clear instructions to contact me in regards to any questions or issues.Approximately 2 months (end of March) later my other half received a phone call saying our order has arrived and he needs to come in and pay the remaining balance before it is picked up. He of course called me and informed me they called him so then I had to call them back. Even though I was charged for delivery our salesperson JEFF did not put it in the system to be delivered Problem 1. After explaining that on my copy of the invoice it shows delivery he was finally willing to schedule a delivery date. It was scheduled for mid April. We were also doing some remodeling and I wanted the items to be delivered before my construction in my home began. So I had to request time off of work to make sure I would be available on our scheduled delivery date.Problem 2: About a week later I called to pay the remaining balance and double check the time of day for items to be delivered. After speaking with the receptionist she put me on hold and got JEFF again. He gets on the phone to tell me he cannot find my name on the delivery schedule. I remind him of the previous phone conversation and he said he does remember having the conversation but its not in the system. I explained to him that we agreed on a time and I have several other factors and have requested time off of work to be available so it has to be done the day we originally scheduled. He told me that he will have to talk with the delivery manager and see what they can do and let me know.After several more calls and conversations with JEFF who was not very nice I finally threatened to cancel my order completely and get my money refunded if my products could not be delivered as we scheduled. He once again told me he would call me back and let me know. Day of the scheduled delivery date I still had not received a phone call to inform me one way or another if my items were coming. They did get delivered and as they were being brought into my home JEFF called my significant other to inform him the delivery will take place today.After all the mix up with the delivery and the lack of communication I did not get a chance to pay the remaining balance. So once again they called but not me to collect payment. I also noticed the final price they were giving us was incorrect so I called to speak with a manager. She reviewed the information and also agreed it was not correct and called ME back. I then gave her my information to pay the remaining balance. Almost 4 weeks later my other half gets another voice-mail from you guessed it JEFF, stating the amount he originally told us was actually right and they were taking that payment now! We were aware the payment was not processed when I originally authorized it but I was thinking they messed up again and were just writing it off since the money never came out of my account. They pulled the money a month later without giving us a chance to make sure the money was available right then.Way too many headaches and ended up overpaying in the end!!!
My wife and I purchased a Fridge, Stove, and sectional from Fischers today and cant wait to get them unboxed in our new house. Not crazy about the religious music playing while shopping but other than that our shopping experience was good as always. :) I will always recommend Fischers.EDIT: I dropped my rating to 1 stars. Fischer Furniture is VERY unorganized. When I purchased my appliances I was gave them a tentative delivery date and was told it was good to do so so early and that I would be the top of the list. When that date came close they no longer had that date in their system and my delivery date was pushed back even further. Second we ordered a sectional couch and was told it was already on order and that we were #1 on the list. I have called several times asking approximately when my order will arrive and/or when my delivery is and all I get is I dont know, call back another time We bought the couch and appliances together and was under the impression it would be delivered at the same time. We have called several times and they have no clue when our couch will be arriving to them. So they just purchase things blindly with no ETA???Third, my appliance delivery was scheduled between 7:30am-12. I called to confirm and now its 12-3. No call prior to confirm delivery or change in delivery time. This company does NOT communicate well with its customers and is not transparent. When we get our Furniture delivered that will be the last time we shop there
We are enjoying our awesome new Parker House leather recliner/rocker chairs from Fischer Furniture. They are not too big and very cozy!
My husband and I recently moved to Rapid City for Military orders and got our 1st apartment together... We came to Fischer Furniture and bought a couch in August of 2020, they told us that they didn’t have the couch in stock so we would have to wait 5-12 weeks at the most before we would get it delivered. we were skeptical about it but we agreed to do it anyways. The 12 week mark went by and we got a call saying they couch got pushed back to December 31st 2020. we were devastated and so furious, because we had family coming for the holidays and we had no where to sit because we had no couch! We were angry but we were just happy that we would be getting our couch before the new year. We then got another call in the middle of December from our sales person Ashley, stating that we would not be getting our couch till sometime in late april of 2021! that will be 8 months of waiting for our couch that was suppose to take “AT THE LATEST” 12 weeks. I asked for a refund, discount, or to be able to pick another couch or SOMETHING! and she states that we’re under contract and there’s nothing she can do. We are highly upset with Fischer Furniture and at Ashley our sales person who lied to us... who knows? maybe we’ll get another call saying that it got pushed off even longer. If i could give them a 0 star rating I would, for all of the trouble they’ve put us through! I would not recommend them to anyone!
Sara and Mary very friendly and helpful. The couch we chose goes great in our living room and seems to be very comfortable. We have had it only a few days, but it seems to be very durable and comfortable. It comes with a 5-year warranty and we are hopeful that it will last us for many years to come.
I shopped online looking for an LG wash tower. Everyone was out of stock and I need one as soon as possible. I sent a message after hours with a request contact as soon as possible. First thing the next morning I received a text stating they had one left. I was able to pick it up that day and the process was super easy and smooth.
I had an excellent experience purchasing for the first time here. Our sales associate offered just the right amount of help and answering questions, but without any pressure to purchase. Everything was seamless including the furniture pickup. I was very happy to find that both pieces we purchased came assembled already! We had the furniture delivered as we live approximately 150 miles away from Rapid City where we shopped. When the 2 gentlemen delivered the items on August 18, 2020 they were very kind, respectful, showed how the heavy furniture could be disassembled for easier moving, explained how the recliner features worked, and answered any questions I had.We have purchased several pieces of furniture from Fischer Furniture from Rapid City, SD before and I would recommend them.

Bought bedroom set back in Sept 2020 was told it was on backorder 2 months at max. It is now Feb 2021 still waiting for set. Sales reps continue it will be on the next truck and I just need to be patient. So far have refused to allow me to speak to manager or offer refund. Wont shop there again at least if I want to get the items I see on the showroom floor.

I can not even begin to tell you how HORRIBLE our experience was with FISCHER Furniture!! I would tell you to go Anywhere else to shop. We ordered two chairs and two tables, we were told the chairs would take 3/4 weeks because of the location of the production facility. The tables were in stock and we took them home, only to find out that one was damaged and the other was poorly put together. Our bad for not insisting they open the boxes before we left. We had previously had to have an ottoman repaired for poor construction and that took Months. The Virus delayed production and weeks became months and approx. 3 months later, with hardly any communication, we were told that ONE chair had come in! As we were about to head to Rapid to pick up that chair, we received a call to tell us that the second chair will Never be available. We went to pick up the one available chair and discovered that it had a hole in the back! I certainly would have thought after all we had been through, someone would have looked at this chair to be sure it was in perfect condition before we drove up there. I would also include that the damage appeared to be something caused in the truck as the furniture came to the store and wasnt done here, the guys in the dock were SO wonderful and sorry that we had been through so much already before finding out that we didnt even get to pick up the chair. While we understand that things are not normal, communication is essential and had they been talking to the production facility looking for our furniture prior to this they may have known sooner rather than leaving us without furniture all this time. In the end all we heard was it wasnt their fault and we felt any concession or refund was given with great reluctance. It was not a professional experience at all and while Mary did a great job, we Never saw/met any manager and truly encourage anyone to look elsewhere! It looks like the owner response is just to the positive reviews - like how we didnt see anyone while we were there, so I do not expect this to do anything except maybe help someone else by suggesting they go somewhere else!
I am still waiting my ordered items but am disappointed and frustrated due to the experience thus far. I ordered on 10/3/20, paid in full and inquired when my items are anticipated to arrive. The sales rep was not able to provide any timeline whatsoever but did attempt to get a hold of the manufacturer to get a timeline. I thought the inability to provide any sort of timeline was odd, as I have been purchasing furniture from two other local stores recently who have been able to tell me this will be delivered in four weeks that sort of thing, but I liked the furniture so I proceeded to order despite this red flag. A week after placing the order I called to see if they had heard back from the manufacturer to see if they were now able to give me any sort of timeline. I was told by the salesperson “like we talked about it will be 10-12 weeks”. I was too nice to say it on the phone at the time but I was NOT told it would be 10-12 weeks, I was given no timeline when ordering . They did have me sign a document saying i understand it could take 12 weeks for an order to come in, but this document was presented by the sales person as ‘this is a standard template everyone has to sign’ . It’s been ten weeks and I still have no idea when my order will be in. To be clear I understand there are furniture delays in many places due to Covid . The issue and frustration here is the complete lack of transparency and communication as I placed and paid for an order 10 weeks ago yet Fischer is not able to to tell me when it will be in.
My wife and I, spent the day shopping for a dresser, which turned into an entire bedroom suite. We were very disappointed with the quality and selection in many stores. Customer service was nothing to write home about at another store.Then we went to Fischer!!!What a treasure! We were met by Marissa Cutler. She pointed us in the right direction, asked some questions about our tastes, showed us those (and others), then left us alone. She never forgot about us, made very appropriate appearances to check on our progress, and never pushed anything on us. She was friendly, knowledgeable, humorous, and an absolute perfect sales associate.We didn’t find exactly what we wanted, but we found something we both liked, furthermore we saved enough money on the bedroom suite, we bought a couple couches as well. Again, Marissa’s patience, and attention to what we were after paid off.Marissa’s personality had almost as much influence on our decision to buy, as the product themselves. It was a wonderful experience, and Fischer is our new first stop for furniture.Thank you Marissa, and Fischer.
We bought a stove and the sales man indicated that i would have the stove next day. IT TOOK OVER 3 WEEKS to get my oven. My wife was not able to cook Easter dinner because of the delay on getting my stove. If i would have known it would have been longer then 3 days, i would of taken my business elseware. When i finally was able to pick up my stove, i complainded to the sales and ask for some compensation the saleman did not care and would not consider any compensation. The sales man did not care as to what happened, he was just happy he got his comision. I WILL NEVER GOT TO FISCHERS AGAIN!!!!!!!....I will get my next appliance from another company that has what i need on hand instead of being inconvience for as long as i had. Watch OUT for them, we wanted a refund, but fischers makes you sign a form stating NO REFUNDS! WATCH OUT FOR FISCHER,... GO SOME WHERE ELSE. !A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER,.......

I was super excited to get my new catnapper couch and recliner at home after 4 months of waiting, then after a long 5 days of ownership we had to call because of this loud popping noise. It was great they sent someone out within a couple days to add a couple spacers and tell me that should fix it. The next day l noticed the mechanisms from the couch were digging into my wood floors and starting to leave big scratches. Fischer Furniture again came out within a couple days to check it out and see what could be done. After a month of maintenance visits and a couple parts added and moved around I was told that should be better and guess what it just got worse. Fischer Furniture said we could not have a refund for a defective item and they would like to replace it. I was cool with that, cant happen twice right!!! So with no phone calls or updates we finally got our new couch in November, we only had to wait 5-6 months while not being able to use the Furniture we paid $4000 dollars for. Within 5 days the same popping noise and waiting for the maintenance guy to come. Its even better that it is the holidays and I have a couch no one can use and nothing else to sit on cause they have not replaced the recliners yet. I am still being told I cannot get a refund on the second defective couch I have received. Thanks Fischer Furniture for the great customer service.UPDATE: fischer furniture has came and picked up the couch and is working on the refund. They are sending someone to fix the floors which is awesome. Friday everything should be finished up and this whole nightmare will be over. Fingers crossed!
Where do I even begin. This company is a joke and has zero customer relations. Theyll take your money and not talk to you after. We ordered furniture back in July and only now in December we received all items. Zero phone calls were made to us saying the item we ordered that was in stock is now no longer in stock. We had to continuously call to get any sort of answer. Multiple delivery dates were given to us with nothing to back up their claim. we were made to like we were in the wrong for asking on a time frame of items. Oh and they pay for good reviews. Every purchase they offer you a $50 coupon so that they can buy reviews. Will never use them again. I do not recommend.Ashleys furniture has the same stuff with way better customer relationships... REPLY TO FISHCERS RESPONSE- you guys are still missing the point. I understand covid caused delays. The fact that no-one contacted us even when our items arrived mind you, is the problem. We had to call and ask if our items were in yet just for.the response of yes it arrives last week.

I went to Fischer to browse and look at some furniture that I had been considering and had spoken with Jeff about a few months ago. I discovered that the couch and chair that I had been considering were on sale. Jeff was very helpful in deciding just what I needed. Teri was such a wonderful help! We found a couch that we loved the first day that we came in, but we decided to take a few days to sleep on it. When we came back a few days later, Teri was there to help us. She tried her best to make us feel comfortable. We definitely will be shopping at Fischer Furniture in the future!!

Awful customer service. Took 6 months to get our furniture (couch, ottoman, and table) and not once did we get a phone call telling us it was in. Everytime we called for an ETA they acted like we were being obtrusive. They just took our money and did not talk to us afterwards.
