Ordered online since I live so far out. Delivery was set for next dat according to the site. Next day I got an email saying it was delayed, not a big deal as I had plenty of time until it was required. Couple of days pass with no updates or a even tracking number so I called the store with no clear answers. So on my last off day before the technician is scheduled to be there I drove the hour and a half to Rapid city to purchase one. I attempted to cancel the delivery of the other router while there, but was told it wasn’t possible, even though there wasn’t a tracking number saying it had actually been shipped. I explained to the customer service manager that I already had to drive 1.5 hours there then 1.5 home, and because no one could cancel it, I was going to have to drive another 3 hours to return the other. Her indifference was obvious as she shrugged at me and began to turn to walk away. I ask if she was even going to bother to offer us a 10% discount for the issues only to be told that she wouldn’t. Several days later I got the router the same day I got the email saying it had been shipped. I then drove all the way back to the store to return it. Terrible customer service, I suggest everyone avoid this location as I will not return or order from them again.
Went to Best Buy to get a screen protector and phone case for the new Flip3. Verizon was out of everything, but Best Buy didnt let me down. Nick C. in mobile was extremely helpful. He asked the right questions to make sure I got exactly what I needed and was super personable. Nick even did the screen-protector install and wasnt satisfied until it was perfect. 10/10!
Dropped my laptop off at Geek Squad for repair of the fan. Got it back and someone had encrypted it with a bitlocker. I did not do this, nor did the version of windows I had even make it an option. They didnt have the key. Their response- Could I interest you in a new laptop? Best Buy- Where They Break your Career Path and Computer So They Can Sell You a Dell.
Arrived for vacation in Rapid City for 10 days. On our first day, my adult autistic son’s phone would not charge. We went to Best Buy to have it checked out. Nathan helped us and was wonderful! He found out that my son’s charger port (the little hole where the charger plugs in) was full dust. Nathan took the phone and cleaned it out by hand, very tediously and carefully. He was extremely kind, personable, and professional. When he was done and the phone was clean, he sent us on our way without charging us. Thank you, Nathan!

Bought a new laptop and we were in and out of there in less than an hour! Remarkable, I really thought it would take forever to be waited on, but only waited about five minutes and then a young fella that knew the product lines helped us out.I dont have much patience and I appreciate the good service

I thought this place was really awesome to go and see when I was a kid, returning there as an adult it is even more amazing. Getting to see the various different tiles of the world, and learn more info about them was a real treat. This is a great place to go and visit on your own, but even better with friends and family. A great place to go for educational, while still fascinating afternoon.
Purchased an oven over a month ago. The day that is was to be delivered apparently corporate decided to pull all sorts of GE products off the shelf. There is no recall, there is nothing wrong with the product according to the GE manufacturer. Best Buy refused to give me my product I ordered online and according to everyone I talked to had it sitting in the back. Do not buy appliances from them, apparently even if you order them they wont get to you. With all the delays with shipping regarding everything I wanted to wait and have good customer service but I was wrong. Went next door to Lowes purchased the same product and will get it to my house in less then a week.
Horrible service, had to ask to get help. I asked if anyone worked in the area where I needed help, there response was we work all over in the store. They would have someone help me while I watched 4 workers walk around while 2 told me they would have someone help me. Even though the 2 work the whole store. Asked for the Manager. Told the so called Manager I wouldnt be buying anything from that location anymore. Horrible customer service
This Best Buy is okay, but I dont find myself coming here as often as I used to. The staff knowledge on their products isnt the best. Im not asking what the architecture blueprints of an ipad processor are, but even simple questions can stump them.
I like Best Buy but the associates need to be trained up on their products a but better. I ended up having to make two trips after the associate assured me that there was an RCA adapter with the TV and there was not one. Would rather be told let me check for you rather than be given false information.

I can’t leave less than one star. This place is sad. I don’t believe it ever was the most convenient place to visit but it’s definitely not now. We are here in this store again trading in apple watches.. this is the second attempt. First time we were told it’s not possible because the employee was too lackadaisical to look further into the computer. We waited for about half an hour to be told we couldn’t be helped. This time around they are making more of an attempt to find the watched in the system but still the experience is terrible and making me hope this establishment is replaced with a store, that shows it’s driven by customer service and sales, by simply being appreciative for not only our continued business but for our willingness to W-A-I-T.As mentioned this time is still terrible.. it is taking longer to find the watches and the frustration is showing. We have been here for 20//5 minutes and there hadn’t been an apology. We have now been talked to by 3 people.. how many people does it take to do a trade in? On top of this I can see the mess of this unprofessional place unfold before me. Employees are walking everywhere and none of them look pleased to be helping anyone. I can here the door person/manager person scolding someone on the microphone thing about not being able to hear over his mumbling. How unprofessional to be addressed by a manger publicly? That is degrading for the employee and uncomfortable for the consumer having to hear this. Disgust.This place should be a happy, busy environment.. electronics are the way of the future. There is business to be had and money to be made but I personally do not want to be here any more than any of the workers look like they want to be here. Let’s all just go home guys.. Fix it!!
This store got better at associates not constantly asking if I need anything. Sometimes I just want to shop on my own. I think the 0% credit is a good deal.
Usually a great selection of electronics merchandise. As of this writing, many shelves are empty....but employees are quite helpful.

Went to find a TV found one at a reasonable price its a 40 inch Insignia. Next time I go Im going to see what all they have in the store since I didnt get pass the TV 😂. Giving the business a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating because it was clean and the employees was friendly and helpful.
I had a good sales person today. Other two visit they treated me with no interest in helping me find the right electronic for my specific needs. When it comes to comparing products and knowing the specs about a device, I look for expert advice. But those two other visit made me feel like they did not want my business. Anyway. Just wanted to share that experience with you all.

Prices are consistently higher for the same products at all other local stores. The staff are helpful, but the extra cost doesnt go to paying staff spiffs or commission. Would be more inclined to shop at best buy more if that were the case. This would help justify paying more.
Was quickly assisted by two workers who knew exactly what I was looking for and knew exactly where to find it, despite it being an obscure item. Was in and out in just a couple of minutes due to their knowledge. Would have been wandering around for a while if left to my own searching.
Mersadez in the mobile phone department is extremely dedicated and determined to get her job done for her customers. She was fantastic in getting our phone service transferred to a new carrier.Absolutely excellent customer care.Her Rocket Socks were quite awesome too.Thank you Mersadez.
We went in to buy a bluetooth boom box. We found one that we wanted, but got to the checkout to find out they had the price incorrectly marked. It was more than double the price they had listed on the shelf. They even verified the shelf price, but told us they wouldnt sell it for the price they had marked for it. Seems like false advertising to me and was just a waste of our time.
If my friend Mariah White Plume wasnt there at my lowest time, we wouldnt even be talking about today. Im doing business at Bestbuy Because of her.

The guy from geek squad messed up my computer then disconnected himself and no way to get ahold of anyone from Best Buy. On hold for over 30 minutes with no resolution. I will never buy anything from Best Buy again!!!
The employees were eager to help and the guy that was working the car audio department was knowledgeable and was able to find everything I need despite the inventory being picked over. Hopefully, the electronics shortage lets up soon so I can upgrade a video card in my PC and find a PS5 for my son.

Its best buy, I liked my customer service I got from the staff but the store is pretty empty. Overall its a standard best buy butni would call before you make the drive if you dont want to waste a trip. Not much in stock. Also I hate the entry to the parking lot.

Geek Squad wouldn’t even talk to me without an appointment even though nobody was there (appt no show). So I came back the next day and dropped off my iPhone for repair. When I picked up the next day (3rd trip) it said that SIM card was invalid so I took it to Verizon to fix my SIM card. Verizon was unable and informed me that my phone had been damaged by Geek Squad during the initial repair.
If you moved to this area for common sense and normalcy from non sense that surrounds COVID you wont find it at Best Buy! The lady at the door will yell at you for not wearing a mask. If you tell her you have medical conditions that prevent mask wearing shell override your doctors wishes and tell you that youre not welcome. You can wear a shield or a mask but youre crammed in the line like a soup kitchen. You can wear a mask but you touch unwiped counters or electronic. You have sales people who have no clue what their doing. All they are doing is pushing large sales versus what the consumer asks for and the store has really no rhyme or reason to it. You walk into this store and immediately make guests feel unwelcome. Best part of living in a Free state is Im free to take my money elsewhere. Which I gladly will do from now on. Cancelling my best buy card in the parking lot! 😂👍
Sadly the sales team continues to lack education in their departments, I recently came in with questions on a surface only to have the computer associate call over a more informed computer associate who after 5-6 minutes of trying to sell me on the device, admitted that he didnt know enough to answer my questions. He mostly pointed out all the features that were typed up right in front of me to read already. When I asked about the computers ability to last and not bog down after a few months, he said he didnt know how to keep it running efficient, then plugged their geek squad to add to it, this way they could keep it going if something happens. I was speaking more of the hardware keeping up with the times more than software issues. He even tried to use his phone to look up a couple of questions, after waiting for the answer I simply asked google on my phone and got it in seconds what he brought up but couldnt answer in regards to ram upgrades. Delightful people, kind, but not knowledgeable enough sadly.

I will not shop there again. Our community doesnt have regulations mandating You must wear a mask. I was told I couldnt shop there without one. So I will purchase my electronics at Sams or Walmart. Both suggest masks but neither see fit to try and make me wear one.

I used to go to Best Buy for all sorts of things but after my recent visit...Id rather order my stuff from Amazon. We came for screen protectors and had a couple of questions but no one was in the phone section, so we went to the open register where we were rudely told we have to wait because theres a customer ahead of us, hes just not at the register. We politely mentioned we just had a couple of questions for the screen protectors and she cut us off by rudely stating we need to go to the phone section for help even though thats where we came from and were trying to tell her that. Then we asked the greeter and he called for someone and said itd be a few minutes so we walked around to pass time and when someone was there he told us he cant help us until he was done with a couple looking at phones and then walks away from them, too. They were looking at phones, he couldve helped us while they browsed. So we put our items down and left after deciding to buy our stuff online. Even the greeter sarcastically told us to have a nice day on our way out after seeing us put our stuff down. I understand youre understaffed but unprofessional behavior like that is a great way to make people leave without making a purchase. We were polite the entire time, thats a terrible way to treat your customers.
Got $400 trade in for my 3ish year old galaxy S-10e toward an unlocked S-21+ 5G. The staff went way above and beyond transferring a ridiculous amount of data from from the old phone to the new one. Only 4 stars though because no veteran discounts.

I would give this place no stars if I could this place is so ready to take your money they well not work with you they have hidden fees I should have just got phones from cricket wireless they would try and please there customers. so this a do not buy place this would be my last place to get anything I was going to get a lot more stuff but now Im going stay away and I would recommend going elsewhere as well so for thank you best buy for showing your true colors I really hope this gets the CEO of best buys attention Joly Hubert.

Currently Best Buy is safe and still shoppable. I’ve been there a few times trying to come fix computer issue I’m having and also with setting up my new Xbox that I got from them. They’re taking all the necessary precautions and cleaning but still letting people shop indoors.
Tried calling into the store to see the availability of a product. Went through the robot operator for a couple minutes was told I needed to wait on hold for 10 minutes. After 18 minutes of phone time I was hung up on without the opportunity to speak to a human who could tell me whether my item was available or not. Upon immediately calling back I was told my new hold time would be 1 hour and 35 minutes. There has to be 12 people running around that store right now pretending like theyre doing something truly not helping anyone or bugging people that dont want their attention. Why cant any of them answer the freaking phone. It cant possibly be that hard or save that much money for one person to answer the phone and then connect me with the quote on quote expert at the store that needs to answer my question. How is best by still open?

I ordered a new verizon phone was told it wouldnt be in until 3/6 and I had 10 days to pick up. Stopped in the store tonight 3/9 and order was cancelled no phone call no email and no refund of the sales tax I paid. No one knows why order was cancelled or who cancelled it. Could have picked up a phone from another location and now they arent in stock. Horrible customer service wont buy a phone from them ever again.
When I went, there were quite a few customers, so wait was a bit long. I was next in que when a new member of the staff came in. He was very attentive, and knowledgeable. Luckily there was no one behind me and he had time to make some future upgrade suggestions for the PC I was buying so that I make the right purchases withiut having major issues like power limitations.

Great store but I wished it had better photography options for those people that are serious about it.
The staff is very friendly and willing to help. I was greeted at the door and shown where to look for my item. They had masks and sanitizer available upon entering. Although I was not able to find what I was looking for, the information and knowledge shared with me made it possible to narrow my search.

After Christmas in the Covid year...As good as one could ask for. Greeters at door informed us of sales and how busy they were in a quick and friendly (but not too salesman way) manner

Disappointed that their web site says it has it in stock then you go in to look at it and purchase it and they dont have it. They tell you to just order it online... I tried but they dont ship this item.

The store is always in great condition. The movie section has dwindled drastically and its not really fun to shop there anymore. Geek squad is amazing at their jobs, and the sales people are very knowledgeable and accommodating.
