Ive been going to mark now for about 2 years now, he knows his Hondas. He put a k20A type r full swap on my 1992 EG, the car has no problems at all, it runs like a dream and I take it to the track. As far as pricing goes, yes hes kind of expensive but you get for what you pay for these days and I wouldnt take my car to anyone but him. Hell answer your questions if you have a million of them and he has a very positive attitude and hes a really chill guy.

I got to meet with Mark over the phone and in person and he was helpful in every way .. Even tho I may have asked like a thousand of questions plus he was always in contact with me when I took my 94 Acura to his shop to swap a blown engine for a new one.. My experience with him was great that Im going to him for my next repair.. Cars running great no problems no engine light no warning his work has been the best to all my experience with any repairs I had done to my car .. I really would recommend this place ..

Did a motor swap a few years back by another place. CAR NEVER RAN RIGHT, wiring was a mess, troubles up and down. It sat for 2 years.... until I found SSR IN COVINA. MARK DID AN AMAZING JOB!!! Re-did my harness as well as fixed a few other issues. Guy is up front about what is needed, is honest, decently priced, and does great work. He knows everything about Hondas! My hatchy runs like a dream. Wish I would have found him sooner!

Great experience shopping with them, though some parts were either out of stock or discontinued they did what they could to either substitute or refund the items ordered. Very quick to respond, answer questions or deal with issues.

The only place I will take my Integra. Mark is a great mechanic and just a cool person all around. I have a ton of shops in my area but I choose to drive over an hr away just to go to SSR. Mark has done my swap, rebuild my trans and done some performance mods and I cant be happier. His work is good enough for me and I am a very picky person when it comes to my cars. His prices beat every shop that I have called or gone to for a quote. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

If you have a swapped setup, these are the people you wanna deal with. All the top brands, without the top price, and condescending attitude. They treat you with respect, are honest, and they make sure you get the right part for your set up. They take the headache out of having a swap. Good people.

Dont waste your time or money

Most shops wanted to charge 80.00 to just take a look at why vtec wasnt working but Mark took care of it for free and could have fixed it at half the price. I ended up getting some other work on my 92 accord that had a swap done and he knows what he is doing. Car is running smooth and vtec kicks in like it is supposed to. Good clean honest work. Give this shop a try you wont be disappointed. Will definitely be coming back to get more work done and maybe some mods but its good to know there are still shops out there that can get the job done fast and at a reasonable price.

To be honest calling the job Mark provided me as great is such an understatement. He literally did an incredible job and I really wish I could give more than 5 stars. He provided me with an engine swap, coilovers and other goodies for an amazing price. The prices I got for parts was the cheapest from them. The installation was done with care. His attention to detail is just phenomenal. I honestly found out about this shop because I Googled good honda engine swap shop and saw they had a few reviews but all were great. I contacted them plenty of times with questions and quotes for my project. They were always helpful and honest. After a few months I finally went through with my project due to circumstances that pushed it forward and I could not be happier. Im writing this extensive review because of how great of a job Mark did for me. This shop deserves to be known by more people. So I hope if anyones looking for a place to get their Honda/Acura upgraded or modified, that this review sheds light on choosing Swap Shop Racing. I will be returning here when I build my motor.

Mark is one of the most knowledgeable honda mechanics out there! He built me a sweet b-series setup for my ef hatch. As every honda enthusiast knows ef’s aren’t the easiest honda to swap. Mark took on the challenge and i must say i am more than pleased with the outcome! I got a b18b motor put in with an LS transmission and had Mark install mfactory lsd and carbon synchros! He also wired the car to obd1 and installed arp headstuds on the top end all for an amazing price! If you need anything for your Honda or Acura look no further and hit up Swap Shop Racing! Swap shop sold me an hondata s300 already chipped by a professional for the right price. This happened because I had a bad experience in Arizona with a shop trying to sell me the ecu, the chip, and installation of the chip all at a seperate price after he had told me he was gonna give me one price for everything. Then I called swapshop racing and they did it right the first time. Thanks guys:)

Ordered motor mounts for my Acura, was told one week delivery, turned out to be 2 1/2 weeks.

I ordered parts and was told they were for my make model and year when I got the parts they did not fit it was for a different car all together they would not refund my money. I was also told they did not make that part for my car afterwords.
