We first used California Closets to install our master bedroom walk-in closet and we were so impressed with the competence and professionalism of the entire team that we added a full wall of custom garage cabinets. LOVE them. In a little while we added office cabinets with technology built-ins and we LOVED them. Not satisfied with the way we were using a guest bedroom for less than 2% of the year we had California Closets put in a Murphy bed with a desk and shelves on one side and drawers and shelves on the other. LOVE them. Now my wife has her private space for her hobbies and we will pull down that Murphy bed once or twice a year. Having all this good stuff go on the inside I surely needed some more garage storage so we got CC to put in another walls worth. We highly recommend California Closets.

Worth every penny! From the initial consultation with Anne to the professional installation, everything was great. It’s one place I actually don’t have ANY complaints.They finished my master closet and it was done so well that I had them come back and do all the other closets in my condo. I even had them do a Murphy bed for my guest room.I can’t say enough about the designer, Anne. She is very knowledgeable and gave me excellent ideas, besides being very friendly and easy to work with. The installers are excellent craftsmen that really care and think about their work. I wish I had more things that needed finishing!!!

The California Closet professionals were great to work with. Kate Murphy came to do the initial planning visit and created just the right setup for me. She even made some adjustments when I asked. The installation was fantastic. He showed up early and got to work right away. A few hours later and I had amazing closets and a fabulous pantry. Now, to fill them up!

Purchased a desk top from CA closets, Ariel came out took photos, measurements and sent me a CAD drawing on the finished product. Unfortunately, the installer butchered the desk and obviously no one reviewed the measurements when they were fabricating the product. Either way they did a terrible job but were more than happy to charge me a small fortune for there terrible work.

Very pleased with design making closet into a pantry. The designer provided excellent advise and created a truly useful and attractive pantry. We were especially pleased with the installation done by Joey. Not only on time but he went above expectations to assure a perfect fit. The result is a very attractive, custom look. Joey added real value to an already great product with a reasonable price. We highly recommend.

We had our master bedroom closet done and let me tell it looks straight out of a magazine! We worked with Adena and she walked out through all the options and made a design that maximized our space and stayed within our budget!! I love the quality and design of the materials that California Closets offers. Over all, the end product is good. I did have some issues with install. They didn’t clean up the install mess so I had to clean shelves and floors of saw dust etc. They took multiple trips to get the install done and I am still waiting for a few items to come in. They ran my credit card and paid the second half of what I owed before the job was done. Now I am sitting here wondering if I will ever get the jewelry drawer inserts and valet rod I paid for, but don’t have yet. My fear is once they have their money, I won’t be a priority anymore. Time will tell. It has taken a very long time to get this project done. It’s been a somewhat disappointing experience so far. If I ever do this again, I will use a different company.Update 10/29/20 I have been called and the final pieces to the install are being brought on 11/3. Looks like they may come through after all!

Very quick to schedule an in person visit at my request and go over every little detail I was wanting. Elizabeth brought samples that we could see which was adequate, but we also opted to visit the store by appointment and see everything in person and could make changes and updates right away. It was like going to spec out a Mercedes! Such a neat and easy process! The installation was just as easy. The guys came and were basically done in a day and came on day 2 to finish up some details. They were clean and respectful and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Our master closet is 21 years old. The original builders wire shelves could not stand up to the weight of my hanging clothes and the storage cubbies I had placed in the middle made it feel like a tunnel. It’s not a large closet, so I had little hope of California Closets being able to make a big change, but thought I would give them a try. So glad I did. In short time, I had a design and a timely install scheduled. I love the sturdy, easily adjustable shelves and hanging rods. Our designer did a great job of listening to what I needed and creating a design that made maximum use of the space. Our installers were on time, professional, and did a great job. I had no idea a new closet system would make such a big difference. The soft close drawers are my favorite part. I love my closet now and love having everything so organized.

They kept the workspaces clean and were very professional. Their work looks amazing and I’ve sent pictures to all my friends. I’ve already recommended Patti and CC to my friends and neighbors. The quality of all of their products is amazing. The drawers in their systems are better quality than all of the bedroom furniture I’ve seen in furniture show rooms. My sincere thanks to Patti and the install team for their amazing work. I highly recommend California Closets and Patti as your design consultant. FYI, 3 years ago, Patti designed a wall system with twin Murphy beds and storage above with glass inserts. It’s beautiful and very practical.

From the beginning this was a great experience! Miriam was the designer assigned to our project. She took two dream pictures I had and turned them into reality! We had to do our consult over the phone due to Covid19 but she made that easy and I felt in good hands. Tim was our installer for the first day for my master closet. He was GREAT. Put down protection for the floors and got right to work. Didnt even take a break! Worked hard all day and it was 99% done by the end of the day. It turned out beautifully! And he cleaned everything up! Tim returned the next day with Joseph and again they put down protection. This time the laundry room turned out exactly like I had dreamed. They worked well together and again left everything spic and span! Great product, great people, great company. I recommend them highly

It was awesome and we are very pleased. I would say 8 out of ten. The installer was a very nice guy but his spackling skills could be better. Also your systems are rather pricey. I almost went with another company but your sales gal was great and had lots of samples to show me your product.

Our home had an unfinished room over our garage which we decided to finish. Once the the room was completed we wanted to finish by adding add book shelves and desk to finish off the room. We have used California closets before for additional closet space in our master bed room and were extremely pleased with the outcome so the decision was to contact them once again. The same sales agent used for the bedroom was once again contacted and was very attentive to our thoughts and provided a number of alternatives at reasonable cost. The room is now completely finished and looks fantastic and put to good use!

We used CA Closets to do all the closets in our home, and Joe and his staff did a beautiful job! About 3 months after completion, we put our house on the market, and the new, beautiful closets sold the house (after just 6 weeks on the market). We moved to a larger home in our same neighborhood and used CA Closets again to do all the closets in our new home. Again, Joe and his staff did an incredible job, and we could not have been happier. Joe the franchise owner was great at helping us design the closets, the installers were great and payed attention to detail. customer service was excellent. We now can call Joe anytime to add a shelf or design something new in our home. He is very responsive and friendly. Great person to work with.

After 25 years in the home of our dreams the time came to down size... We purchased a 20 year old stand- alone home in a gated community where HOA cares for all exterior maintenance. A wonderful relief from lawn care and all the other burdens of a larger home. We love it. However, the down side is that even after disposing of excess gear, tools, brick-a-brac, sports equipment and furniture, we still had storage problems. Particularly in our much smaller garage. One visit to the Greensboro, NC California Closets showroom and we were hooked on the beauty and quality product on display. We immediately made an appointment for a designer to pay us a visit. The designer, Sarah Smith, arrived right on time (after calling day or so before to confirm) and after a short conversation to get our ideas went to work on her design. In short order she was able to share it with us on her laptop. ... We were sufficiently impressed, satisfied and excited to make a deposit and schedule the installation. Sarah was perceptive and efficient. The process is smooth. The installers were on time, courteous and overcame a couple of minor issues without complaint. Now that our beautiful cabinets are in place I dont want to store some of my old, junky stuff in such a nice place. Yet another benefit of California Closets.(Score 10 out of 10)

From start to finish, I was extremely impressed from the consultation, guidance, professionalism, the actual construction, and installation. Everything was actually quite a bit nicer than I expected and CC exceeded my expectations in every way.10 out of 10!EDIT:Had a follow up consultation to look into options for our garage roughly a year after first install and was blown away from the price I was quoted. I tried to discuss this with the sales rep, Patti, but as soon as I was concerned with the pricing... I never heard back from her. Concerned a bit considering I was finding commercial grade heavy duty options online for about half the price and I was a repeat customer. I figured I would pay a premium with CC, but not double?! More than anything... I was taken back by the follow up when I showed any reluctance with moving forward. It wasnt until I communicated my displeasure with management or via survey and then I finally heard back from the sales rep. Im changing my rating due to the inconsistency with pricing and service, but did hear from the owner after the fact.Moral of the story... shop around and know your options. Whether its actual merchandise, construction, pricing, service, etc.
