Dustin and Mike were amazing! They were so helpful and very thorough in explaining the features of the system. Very professional and knowledgeable of their products. We are first time home buyers, and of course we had the concerns of which home security system we are going to choose without feeling like it’s a waste of money, and of course we want to always feel safe when we are at home and away from our home. They helped us a lot with choosing a great home security system and completely sold us with this amazing system. Icing on the cake was being able to control EVERYTHING on your phone! Have not had the PHT service for over a year now. However, they continue to charge my account even though I have no contractual obligation, and sent in a Notice Of Cancellation via certified mail. Please start charging me, I have a new system and service with Brinks Home, who I can actually get on the phone!!!

So I have tried several times to contact this company with no results so I decided to call the finance company only to tell me this company is no longer in business, imagine how I’m feeling now having to still pay for equipment with no service🤬🤬I feel like I was scammed and Times are already hard for people!!!!

Good luck getting anyone on the phone. The automated system tells you all of the options are not recognized.

The only good part of working with PHT was the tech that came to install everything. What we were told we were going to get and what we got were very different. The sales rep told us we would have a fully integrated system and what we got was a bunch of different apps that dont work with each other. The cameras that they tried to sell were over priced and they told us we couldnt get our own and use them with the system. Also, they pre wired for the cameras but only ran Cat6 which limited what we could actually use. In the end if I could go back I would never have used them and would have just set everything up myself. Would have spent less money and got a better end product.

Read the fine print, dont listen to their sales people, they will mislead you. Once youve signed, they really could care less about you, because they know theyve got you on the hook for years.

Juan was very professional and knowledgeable of his job. He did an amazing install. He was very polite and knew what he was doing. He answered every question and made sure that I knew how everything worked. He explained every detail he was doing as well and kept me aware of next steps. He also wanted to make sure that I fully understood everything before he left. I would recommend his services to anyone. Jim was also great in his starting everything up and getting my appointment taking care of.

Fast and efficient installation, done the same day we signed up and completed in about an hour! System is very user friendly & nicely fits in to our decor. Love having an app on the phone that lets us arm, disarm or just check the alarm from wherever we are. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an alarm system.

This company appears to have shut down, or it has been a sham all along. These guys were the contracted vendor to install wiring in my new home for Pulte Homes. They did not crimp the wires correctly, and now I cant get in touch with anyone to come fix this.

They were so professional and so sweet. I really feel like they valued us and make us feel like family! Henry was so helpful in helping us choose the best security for our home on the second day we moved in. He was professional and friendly while showing us the alarms systems that would fit our needs. After Feeling NOT SO SECURE with another alarm company, I reached out to brinks to see what they had to offer. Long story short, we really liked what brinks offered compared to others. So We switched companies recently & had our new Brinks system installed in our new home. It was a clean, seamless install. Which looks VERY NICE & Discreet. Our installer Chris Nigro was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! His customer Service EXCEEDED ALL of our expectations. His knowledge of the alarm system was quite impressive. He ensured our whole home was secured and left us feeling protected & equipped with a wealth of information so that we were reassured that we had made the best decision on a QUALITY security system. Calvin was fantastic, he got me the setup I needed at the price I wanted. He then got me set up just a day later and had Anthony come install it, I can not express how awesome these guys were. I edited this previous comment as I recognize that the installers ask us to leave a review based on your encounter with them and not the company. While the installation was well, my family has experienced the poor end of this company when requesting release from the contract as our sales rep deceived us into believing the services could be terminated at any time. We requested alleviation as we have fallen behind due to reduced income and the birth of our child. They refused and will not acknowledge the faulty actions of their sales rep whom is no longer employed with them. The sales rep had me sign through mobile device and I had no opportunity to review the contract. They offered a $4 courtesy reduction. $4. I agreed to no terms. They stated they could not do anything about the agreement even after I explained the sales rep lied. It was after they said they could do nothing else they offered a $4 rate reduction. The accepted reduction was not an agreement to the contract. It was accepting the only thing offered. $4 does not remove the financial hardship and not utilizing authority to terminate the agreement does not qualify as being willing to work with me. It comes off as willing to work to get money at my expense for your best interest. That is what the Grace of God represents, helping others in their interest and not ones own.

Power Home Technologies were all around awesome. The sales associate, Archie, was genuine and kind. He never used overly aggressive sales tactics like many other salesman. We were even able to get our equipment installed that same day, before we left for a Washington D.C. trip, for free. Technician was great at setting up the system, as well as, teaching me how to use it. System is very user friendly and I love how it is personalized to the home so I know exactly which sensor is triggered in a certain part of the house. Monitor is not an eye sore or bulky and love that we can personalize it with our own pictures! First time homeowners so it helps knowing we have the extra security.

I switched to Brinks which somehow is powerhouse from adt and I pay my bill through brinks so in December with the understanding that 75% of THE BOC would be paid. Here we are in August no BOC PAID..BALANCE FOR ADT IN COLLECTIONS. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH BBB AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! Stay away from Chris Murphy he failed to get the BOC taken care of Im not renewing my contract with Brinks or powerhouse they both are horrible for customer service so save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!! The BOC has been paid BY ME NOT THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY BUT ME!! So step up your game cause you people SUCK!!

I came home one day and a flier was on my door. I called the next morning to inquire about a quote and Jon greeted me so nicely on the other end of the phone. He was prompt for our appointment and he scheduled the technician to come out the next day. Anthony, the technician, arrived with a smile and ready to work. He installed my system and ensured that I was thoroughly trained and comfortable on everything. I will highly recommend this company. All thumbs up!

Brian was extremely courteous and knowledgeable of all facets of the system. He also shared his insight on other security ideas. I was particularly pleased with his punctuality and the neatness he exhibited when he mounted the security devices. He was also very personable which is very important from a company standpoint since he is the only person that I dealt with on a face-to-face basis. Five stars all the way!

They seem to be short staffed or the way that they handle issues dealing with customer technical issues is old fashioned. For example when you call Google for any of their products you might have a issue. the person you first in counter with on the phone has ALL the answers and can trouble shoot issues. With power home technology they just write your name and number down and say “someone will contact you in 24/48 hours”. And in the meantime you house isn’t as secure and who know what can happen in those hours you are waiting. My suggestion is if your going to have a receptionist that’s fine but make sure she is trained to answer most is not all questions and can trouble shoot from her desk not just take a number down. Overall it’s a good system when it’s set up and running but technical support needs a make over.

Tracy, who did our install, was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the system and answered any and all of the questions we had. This was nothing but an amazingly positive experience. Not only was Mike willing to reschedule to a much later time on the same day -- at the last minute -- he was very kind, helpful and a pleasure (he had some jokes, too!). He even checked our existing home smoke detectors and found they werent working!After checking, setting us up with new, system-connected fire and carbon monoxide detectors, and installing the rest of our new system, he took the time to patiently walk us through using the system, which is a significant upgrade from our old keypad system from a different company. Juan was excellent! He arrived and installed alarm system very quickly and efficiently. This is our first time ever having an alarm system in our home. So Juan really had patience with us as he described the important aspects to understanding how to operate our new system. He did this with short phrases that are easy to memorize. Update 8-1-2018: Technician Tracy was able to come out today to look at my unit as I wanted to get it moved within the house. He was able to explain the positioning of the unit between the studs of the wall and I realized that moving it would cause me more headache in the long run with having to fill in holes in the wall. Glad he explained it well.Initial Review: Tracy, the technician, did an awesome job with the installs. Very professional and knowledgeable about all of the products and gave me some great tips and suggestions.

Update:I have to update my review. I feel it is important for people to understand that the company asks new customers to post a review right after instillation. I was told the installer would get a bonus if I completed a review. My initial review was based only on instillation. I have now had my system for several years, and I have not been pleased with the system or the service. I will be switching companies as soon as my contract is up.Initial Review:I was able to get an instillation appointment set up for the very next day. Anthony was knowledgeable and friendly and patient with all of my questions! He didn’t leave until I was satisfied!

From initial meeting to the install thia was a fantastic experience! No pressure sales and answered our questions with ease. Mike was also super pleasant, polite, and explained everything very well. Highly recommended and we are very satisfied.

We had our home security system installed by Jason today. He did an awesome job. While installing our new contacts he removed all the old ones from our older security system we had. He was very informative and was able to answer all of my questions. We love our new home security!

The speed and precision of installation was awesome! The lead guy who presented the system in the beginning was very informative of what we would receive. The installation took about an hour and he followed through as I downloaded the App and instructed me there also. Thats important when youre an old dinosaur like me.
