Had a break in 08/22/21 and my back window was smashed in. Contacted insurance and took less then 15 min to get scheduled with safelite in Puyallup. Arrived early and was told my a lady that since it was an afternoon drop off it would be a 4 hour wait. However, the man in one of the pictures I attached was so generous and nice and took it upon himself to take care of us quick and easy. He gave me a “thumbs up” and said give me 45 min & he completed it in less than that! I am very impressed and this generous man deserves a raise and all the praise. Even though something horrible happened to my family, there’s still goodness out there. This man let me see that. God bless him and I hope for his success in every way. Thank you so much! If you or your family members see this, we appreciate you and thanks for everything & for taking care of our family! Highly recommend this place! 10/10 for me!
Excellent service, they were a little short staffed so took longer than expected even with an appointment
3 weeks for an appointment I called the day before told I was good that they had the glass arrived from my appointment theres no appointment on the books and they told me in my glass was obsolete that they couldnt do it this scheduled time took out of the middle of my work day I missed a half a day of work so not only did I leave with broken glass still but lost wages and time of my day they are a joke
Great customer service. Needed to repair a windshield with a rock chip. A little tricky to find the entrance, but it was worth the effort. They were able to squeeze me into their schedule that same day and did the best rock chip repair Ive seen. Go here if you seek dedicated workers and outstanding results for your car.
This company is too big to answer the phone.They have this long automated process and never once got an option to speek to anyone. Shouldnt have to have internet acces to get get a damn windshield quote. Ridiculous. I WILL NEVER SEEK THE SERVICES OF SAFELITE AGAIN. Have been a long time customer. Not no more.
Fast Process! They were on time for taking my car in and getting to work. Less than an hour wait. I paid online. A nice perk I found was PayPal let’s you pay in 4 payments! If you need it! Good service looks great!
I cracked my windshield on 1/12 and explained it needed to be replaced. Someone didn’t come out until 1/18 and when they did they stated it had to be done in a facility because of the car features (that were explained to them prior to them coming out) they couldn’t get me in until 1/26. Closest facility was 2 hours from home. Best they could do was an “all day drop” . I dropped off my keys at the facility after waiting outside for 10 min in the cold ringing a buzzer for “Covid safety measures “ and no one answered. When I came in they said they can’t hear the buzzer (wow that makes a lot of sense) . I explained I live two hours away and was hoping it could be done ASAP. They said they will get to it before end of day (5pm) at 2:30 pm I look to see e progress online and is just then being serviced with the replacement not even being underway. I call to find out how I’m supposed to get my vehicle before closing (5pm) if the estimated time to replace and calibrate windshield takes 3 hours (2:30+3h =5:30) the man that answered offered to transfer me to the facility. Over an hour on hold and still no answer. I come to find out the business side will be closed and I won’t get my keys until “around 5pm” that was extremely vague. No direct time was ever given and it was clear that even though I drove 2 hours to get this appointment, my time was not respected or valued from this company. If my warranty worked with anyone else I would have taken my car there. I would never suggest this location if you absolutely could not help it. Staff was incompetent and unable to answer simple questions and did not value my time. I will be warning friends and family not to choose this company.
Waste of my time! I spent over 18 minutes of the phone with someone for them to confirm with me that I could get my 21 Pilot windshield replaced and not recalibrate it through them as I can do it at a Honda dealer way cheaper. After being on hold the lady said that wouldn’t be a problem.The scheduling process took longer than they advertise. I wasn’t able to get a time that wasn’t while I was at work and there was no mobile available for over a month. So my husband had to pack up our 2 year old and go to the shop.The shop calls my husband not even 5 mins to let him know we can’t do the aftermarket windshield on my car. And OEM is back ordered for 2 months?!Waste of my time, my husbands time, and my poor toddler.If you can’t do it you shouldn’t be telling people you can. False advertising and a bunch of liars!!!

Trusted Safelite to replace the rear window on my truck last week. While we really appreciated that the site manager was able to drive my wife home after dropping the truck off, the experience went downhill from there, and left me motivated to highlight some glaring issues with this facility that needed a honest review.1. Failed to manage expectations. The Safelite website gave an estimated time for repair of 1.5 hours. The reality was something far different, in that the repair took nearly four days because the disassembly required to replace the window in this model of vehicle. Unfortunately, it took several days to even get in touch with the site manager, who then worked hard to get the job done in a reasonable time.2. Facility does not publish a real phone number. Google will show a local phone number for this location, but the reality is that the number goes to a centralized call bank somewhere else. After anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, you will reach a customer service rep who then puts you on hold while they attempt to reach the shop. Depending on the issue, you may get to speak directly to the shop, or just through this customer service middle man. Very odd and un-customer-friendly system for sure. Just publish a real phone number to manage customer issues locally!3. Substandard, and potentially even dishonest work. Outside the delays to get the repair complete, upon return of the vehicle and a detailed look at the work when the truck was home, we discovered the shop failed to install the rear seat belt mounts. Not finding rear seat belt mounts where you should find them creates a nice safety issue. We initially figured the missing mounts were in the shop and were left out by accident, only to discover them later under one of the front seats hours later. Additionally, the shop broke one of the rear seat support brackets when they took the bench seat off to complete the repair. This break was not disclosed to us upon return of the vehicle and was dishonest. Finally, the shop failed to ensure that all the broken glass from the window was vacuumed out and the vehicle restored to its original condition.In closing, I called the local number for the shop on the invoice today to give the manager an opportunity to address my concerns. Unfortunately, after calling the number, going into the call center process, and then having the customer service agent leave a message for the shop manager to call me back, I never heard from her.
The first appointment was cancelled because of an incorrectly ordered windshield, but after the 2nd try it went perfect! The installer was professional and took care to notice details in the install and made sure the end result was perfect. Id definitely use them again!

We scheduled an appointment for today at our business location for our loaner vehicle. The appointment was schedule for a 1 to 5 oclock arrival. The company called my fiance(who booked the appointment) to let him know the tech could not find the location. My fiance called the techs number as instructed by the office 10 minutes later. I sent my tech at work outside to look for the Safelite van and saw no one around. I texted the technicians number and still no response. Needless to say, no one showed up and no one returned our calls. Sad because the units in our business complex are pretty clearly numbered. Wont be rescheduling.
I would give them Five Stars based on their customer service; the office staff and the techs are great. But m going with four because it was sort of a cluster and took three weeks to straighten out . The first windshield I got had scratches in it that came that way for the manufacturer and were very difficult to see unless the sun hit it just right. Then there ended up being a cluster trying to get the replacement windshield but it was due to the call center. And with crazy times right now and not being able to talk to somebody in an office, its hard to get the correct information to the correct people. So when they came out to do the replacement under warranty they only got information regarding wiper blades so they showed up at the house without another windshield. So they came out a third time and took care of everything. So though it took three weeks to get it right, they made sure it was right! And they never gave me any grief about it and the techs that came to my house were so incredibly friendly and so professional. A big shout-out to Peyton and Pono - you guys are great.
Went through USAA to get a windshield replaced. Super easy to schedule and get it replaced. Done super fast and windshield looks great. Very friendly staff.

This business does not deserve any rating stars. They started a windshield replacement for us, didn’t finish the job (had excuse and left without finishing), said they would schedule follow-up visit to finish, came back but still didn’t finish then charged our credit card for the work. We tried to contact the location where ordered however they do not accept phone calls and requested e-mail to corporate. We E-mailed corporate, got a phone call back at a later date however the call center person couldn’t find any details from the local shop nor could they contact them. The only option left at that point was to file a credit card dispute. They removed windshield however didn’t replace. This ordeal was a huge waste of time for us and we still have a vehicle with no windshield.
Apparently this location doesnt update the status tracking of your car. Or use the online payment option.

Today (10/12/2020) I had a chip repair on my 2020 Jeep Cherokee and through USAA we had Safelite come out to inspect and repair.Our Tech was Zachary and he was extremely punctual, polite and professional. I had zero problems with the entire experience. He even explained how the process worked and what to expect as not to sugar coat anything, which I appreciate. No chip repair is going to make a chip vanish for good so dont expect that, it is merely a fill to prevent further spreading. Plus it looks so much better after...Zachary did a great job so thank you!
I had my window smashed out of my truck and they were able to come to my house and fix it the very next day. Taylor was the installer who came out and he was awesome. Super friendly and great customer service. He called a couple times throughout the day to update me on his arrival so I was never wondering when he was gonna show up. Great experience and would definitely recommend.
If anyone has an older vehicle that needs a windshield replaced....beware! We dropped off our 90s van to get the windshield replaced. They called shortly after stating that if there was an rust we would have to take it to a body shop to get fixed before the windshield was replaced. They removed the windshield and called stating they found rust. The van was picked up along with the windshield. Once home, we looked over the frame of the windshield. There was a few small patches of surface rust that were easily fixed and would have not caused an improper install. As far as we could tell, safelite did not want to put in the work to sand the area and get it cleaned up. Due to it being a 90s van, there was some sanding needed to get the surfaces even. That took us about an hour to get that done. We then installed the new windshield. I will never recommend Safelite to anyone. I feel they are lazy and have no interest in doing hard work needed to provide good customer service. In addition, because we are not professional windshield installers the windshield cracked when were putting in the second-to-last screw along the bottom of the windshield. Needless to say this made us a little bit more unhappy with Safelite. Hopefully corporate reads these reviews and changes their ways to help produce satisfied customers. Happy ending-- we found a local business that could do the windshield replacement for cheaper and they said they would sand any surface rust areas as well. We had already fixed the few areas but we were happy to find a business that is reasonable and likes to work hard to make customers happy. I gave 2 stars because the people working there seemed very nice and we were able to get a quick appointment. I think the company probably needs to review some policies. We would have been willing to pay more money or even sign a waiver to have our windshield installed. Total waste of time and energy when there are businesses that exist that will give you what you need/want.
Worst customer service! Service tech call ahead but clearly did not want to do the job as he complained about the weather. I insisted we proceed. When he arrived he complain more about the size of vehicle and that it was a two man job...should have known that from the work order! Fine, got me in to the shop but now I can not reach anyone via phone as no one answers them. Was on hold for 50 minutes yesterday and. 40 minutes today. Needless to say I will not be doing business with them ever again. Zero stars would be most appropriate.
Glad to have my windshield replaced, no complaints there. However, the customer service at this location is a joke. I waited 2.5 hours (was told 2 maximum) just to see a gentleman walk in with my keys, set them on the desk behind the counter and walk away. I figured there was some last minute paperwork to finish up. As it turns out, the man running the front desk was more concerned with his lunch and his door dash order than actually doing his job. As my car had been left in the middle of the parking lot, not even pulled into a space, I approached the counter and said, Im pretty sure my car is done. To which he replied (while ordering door dash) oh whoops, let me just go ahead and get everything finished up. So not only was he more concerned with his lunch than the customers, the technician who drove my car didnt bother to go over the services or details with me like he had with every other customer in the office. I left less than satisfied only to discover they had ripped off and broken a keychain that was hanging from my mirror and not even bothered to say anything. Absolutely unacceptable-and this is coming from someone in the service industry.

Safelite usually is awesome, not this time around. Ordered the wrong piece of glass twice for my vehicle. They installed the wrong piece and now the window doesnt roll back up. Impossible to get ahold of anyone to fix the problem. No corporate number to call and cant get through to any location near me.
We were told by the Tacoma, Wa to drive to Puyallup, WA to get our Tesla taken care of. When we got there they said they couldnt help us. Thanks for wasting our time!

Safelite is by far the worst company that I have dealt with. I have a 2015 Ram 1500 in pristine condition with a leather interior and like to keep it this way.They installed a new drivers window and windsheild and all seemed okay but this was in May. But in September when our first rain arrived, water began to POUR between my headliner and the windsheild.I came in the same day after verifying that they had my windsheild in stock. The SAME tech that messed up my truck the first time came and took my truck back. After he pulled the windsheild out, he showed me where the bond failed(bubbles in the bead). Then said that he would install the new glass.30 minutes after pulling me back to show the problem he was already done. But he had reinstalled the same glass and it is still leaking.When I came back in a little over a week later, the tech that did my work told me that I now have a rock chip and my warranty is VOID, as he mumbled F-off and walked away.I went to another Safelite in Tacoma two days later for warranty repair because that is what their customer satisfation had set up. They tore my roof apart trying to debunk the windsheild leaking and told me that they couldnt find anything and I am on my own.Safelite does not have a warranty and I am going to take them to court for damages after I pay someone to properly diagnose what they did and fix it.

My windshield just had pits instead of cracks but they took care of them and vacuumed out my car too. At no charge. Pretty awesome.

I set a 7:30 drop off and was told the car would be done by noon if I had it in early. Came back at 3:00pm and the car is sitting in the same place I parked it. It is now 4:00pm and they close it 5:00pm. The car still hasn’t moved. This is the worst service I have ever had with Safelight and I have used them for years. Never again.
Got a new windshield here. I was happy with the speed they fixed it. Its been about 6 months and Im still happy with my new windshield.

Technician came to our house to install windshield after an hour he said they had the wrong part and he would let the next technician know to bring some rust remover acid. Said they would call me to reschedule install. After 4 days called them, because they never called, they said technician said pinch weld was bad and I would have to take it to body shop. Hey if my car was rusted not their fault but he lied to me...DONT TRUST THEM. LIARS IN MY OPINION. AND THAT IS THE WORST THING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! PS WAITED 4 HOUR WINDOW TO BE LIED TO IN MY OPINION. BE AWARE. THEY DONT CARE IN MY OPINION.
Second time in a few months Ive had to visit as trucks on the freeway keep throwing rocks on my windshield causing a terrible ding. My insurance company covers the damage but I still get anxious about the crack spreading due to rain. The staff here are amazing! Thankfully Ive been able to get in the same day as my rock chip happens and they fix my chip quickly so it doesnt spread! Best customer service in the auto industry Ive ever experienced! If you need anything to do with your windshield this is the place to go!

After two mishaps at another location, I have to give big props to the Puyallup Safelite. They were able to replace my drivers side rear window with no problems (unlike the other location where they attempted twice to no avail). The tech did a great job on install and cleaning up broken glass that was left on the floor from previous location. Thanks again!
I have used Safelite exclusively for the past 20 years. Always felt like I was treated fairly and great service. However, not the case the last two times. The promo codes I was given for discounts didnt work and no one could help. Then after the work is done the receipt show and extra $7.99 plus tax for parts. What parts? Next time I am trying someone else.

I wouldnt normally write a review for a place like this, but I had two windshields replaced recently and I was super impressed with the high quality work. The operation ran very smoothly and it was clear that people working there enjoyed their jobs and were experts at what they do. Bonus well stocked fridge and snacks while waiting.
Came in a little after opening to drop my car off. Did not realize I had a all day drop instead of just a morning or afternoon one, Joseph and the team at this safelite had my car ready to go by 11pm even with the all day drop off. New windshield looks good and they provided me with good customer service giving me updates while i waited.
We were offered an earlier appointment that day, which worked out perfect so we took it. After he finished my boyfriend was driving the car back to be at work and noticed a spot on the new windshield. He called the tech and the tech met him right away, no problem. Found out it was just some extra glue and we were good to go. Tech was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our service...with a smile!

This place is a rip off. They supposedly have a warranty. My windshield literally split down the middle from top to bottom. Brought it in under warranty. As soon as they stepped outside, they said impact. I said show me. They couldnt. They said they would call my insurance company to cover it. I said, no, this is under warranty you pay for it. Dishonest bunch who own this franchise. Corporate is not of much help.
These guys are 0 for 2 on rock chip repairs. They give you a disclaimer that their work may not remove the visible cracks. This has NEVER been an issue in the past with other companies. The last time, the cracks actually got bigger from their work. It is still smaller that a dollar, so they wont do anything about it. It is more annoying than anything even if it never grows. I am willing to bet their glass repair techs average less than a year with Safelite and super inexperienced. The ones that know what they are doing work elsewhere.Safelite also uses cheap glass from China that is not the same as OEM glass. So, poor quality service and poor quality products. Double whammy! Go elsewhere to fix/replace your glass.

I had a good size crack in my windshield from a rock hitting it on I-5. I was able to schedule something within a few days. The location was pretty easy to find, excellent customer service and everyone was very friendly.The lobby was a bit small & I wish it was located in a more walk friendly environment due to it taking about 1.5-2 hrs.I am very happy with Safelite, the work they did and would highly recommend them to family & friends.

I very impressed with Safelite my Progressive claims agent set my appointment for the same day, I was in and out of there quickly and they have toys for the children to play with, free sodas and snacks. Chris our technician did a great job. He was quick but kept a friendly attitude. He called before apt time to see if he could come a little early, which worked out better for both of us! He noticed right away that customer service had put in the wrong vehicle info so he called in to make sure the window would still work. Customer service center seem confused on pricing and as stated set up for the wrong vehicle. But with knowledgeable techs I will for sure use them in the future!

I just had the windshield replaced in my Subaru Forester and I would highly recommend Safelite and the team there. The entire process was so easy from booking online and having the technician come out to my house to change the windshield without me having to go anywhere!The technician was very professional and friendly and finished the entire job in about an hour and a half! The price was very reasonable as well.

Absolutley the most vile, dishonest and incompetent place ever. I have never been lied to by so many people in one company, ever. They broke the moldings when they replaced my window and refuse to pay for it. The cowlings are buckled and they wont return phone calls to replace those either. Do NOT use this company, even if the replacement is free. Take it to a competent shop and pay for it. You will be much better off, in never even calling them.

I had really bad experience, be careful this guys willREPLACE YOUR WINDSHIELD WITH A CHEAP AFTER MARKET WINDSHIELD.And the warranty provide is a joke anything that will happen to you Windshied after replacing isnt cover.Customers service is terrible they just dont careThey just want to make sure they have your money.Be aware !

Unable to help me replace a simple window track. They said theres no way they would touch it because their insurance wouldnt handle it, and the only one who would help would be a body shop. They were unwilling to tell me where a body shop was. I took it to a different glass shop, and they happily helped with no problems.

My first time using Safelite. Very convenient online booking and billing. Had the windshield replaced on a 2010 Nissan Armada. My experience at the Puyallup center was excellent! I arrived 10 minutes early and was immediately helped. The friendly tech took me outside to look over the vehicle before he took it into the shop. The job took 1 hour and 40 minutes as they predicted. I am very picky about my cars and was very impressed with the job done. I could not tell that anything was done to vehicle inside or outside other than new glass. Then they vacuum your car and wash all the windows. Top-notch service!

Bad weather, Nice tech, wonderful experience! My technician was so nice despite the fact he came during a complete downfall of pouring rain. It was cringe worthy watching him work on my vehicle in the weather. He remained so professional and nice during our transaction, I only wish there was a way to tip the technician through the card reader because unfortunately I did not have cash and I felt horrible. I was so pleased with the outcome of my repair. I only wish I couldve at least offered him a hot cup of coffee but he was so professional I resisted the urge. LOL
Speedy service at a great price. The only complaint I have is there is a small cut in my inside trim that was not there before the install. Not a deal breaker on my older truck, but I would check over the job carefully before you leave the shop.
My rear window got broken. I was a mess but my boyfriend was able to locate Safelite and book an appoinment the same day. I got my window replaced and fixed within a few hours. The staff is very professional and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the amazing service.
