Maybe go for the nostalgia, but otherwise not worth it. Ice cream not near as good as it used to be. The chocolate chips in Mint Chocolate chip tasted like chalk. Limited menu with no healthy items. Not worth the long lines. Much better places for burgers and ice cream.

Love this place. It was packed on a Saturday night, and the ice cream was as good as it’s ever been. The atmosphere was so fun, people are so kind and friendly, and it’s a great place to bring the whole family. I got the BYU goggles ice cream and it was some of my favorite ever.

Our experience at the BYU Creamery was absolutely fantastic! The food was perfectly portioned and cooked, to such an amazing degree that I feel I must give credit to the managers I saw taking such an active and responsible role in the process. Thank you Kennedie, Jacob, Camila, and Abbey, for a wonderful BYU meal. $6 may seem steep for a kids meal, but as you can see, it is well worth it

Quick stop for ice cream at the BYU Creamery with a large group. They get you through the line efficiently. There is a great selection of flavors at the ice cream bar and I learned this trip that there is also a hot grill for burgers, hot dogs, and more. The ice cream is an iconic part of Provo, now Ill go back for a burger!

BYU Creamery, makes the ice cream in the world. I love in Texas, and whenever I come to Utah, I must get mint & chip each time. The single scoop, is equal to about 3 scoops anywhere else, and the flavor is rich and homemade. Made from milk from Celestial cows!!

The coconut joy is pretty good, but for nearly $7 for half a gallon of ice cream cant you guys at least package the stuff in anything other than some flimsy, cheap carton!?!? Every other ice cream company at least gives you a carton with a lid that doesnt fall apart when you try to open it and cause the ice cream to freeze harder in the freezer. One of the pricier ice creams out there and you cant afford decent packaging??

Dang good 👍 Employees need to be taught customer service skills though. They werent rude, just not really present or attentive at all. Leadership could go a long way to making it a great experience.

Love the kids meal at the grill. Burger, fries (spicy fries are awesome), drink, and ice cream! Graham Canyon is always a go to, also like the English toffee but honestly you cant go wrong with any of the ice cream. Good vibes and a great place to dine in or outside.

Flavor options galore. The double is gi-normous! The ice cream was smooth and creamy and the waffle cone was crispy and light yet stout enough to hold all that ice cream. But heres me being nit-picky. although the service was somewhat quick, it was a challenge understanding the service help. They wore masks and some spoke so softly that I couldnt hear nor understand a single word they said. Consequently, I had to repeat my questions 2 - 3 times and yet still not get an answer. I even asked for their recommendation on flavors and that too was unsuccessful. When I could finally understand and hear the recommendation, I went with it and the recommended pairing -- that was a mistake. Perhaps someone my age should not ask a very young adult what flavors they would recommend. We obviously have very DIFFERENT palates. It wouldve also helped to know that one of the flavor recommendations was actually a sherbert and not ice cream (LOL). Lesson learned on my end. I ended up throwing the sherbert end away.

The fries here are delicious. The mozzarella sticks are amazing. The icecream is wonderful. The burgers at a 7/10. Unfortunately, due to no fault of their own with inflation prices there have gotten quite expensive for a meal

Ive been enjoying the ice cream from the BYU creamery for nearly 40 years. Through all those years, including tonight, it always delivers a consistently great experience in both service and quality. Now I love sharing it with my own children. Well done BYU creamery!

The BYU creamery is always a stop we make when visiting Provo. The food is very good, and the ice cream is amazing. They have a variety of different flavors, all of them very tasty. The inside seating does get a bit crowded, but there is a lot of outdoor seating too. They also sell really good chocolate milk.

All the yumminess! I love getting ice cream here and the burgers and fries are delicious too! Not to mention the kind staff always has a smile in typical BYU fashion. Yum!

We have many great memories of this place and were not disappointed when we came back to visit. They have great burgers and ice cream. Kids meals are a great deal as you get fries and a drink and a scoop of their ice cream too. They also have parking on the north side and out door tables. A family friendly place to have lunch!Just be aware, no free refills on the drinks.

Deli should double cheese burger and fries. I also like that they let you split a single scoop into two flavors (try peanut butter with toasted almond fudge). Chicken strips were also very tasty.

Love going to this place! I really enjoy their ice cream. On my last visit though I order three burger and paid for three burgers, but when I got home I opened the bag and only found two burgers inside. Just make sure to check it is all there.

The BYU creamery on Ninth has definitely grown on me over the years. I used to consider it extremely overpriced and overrated. Now, I don’t know if the store has changed or if I have, but the prices seem fair. And the ice cream. OH THE ICE CREAM. This is the best ice cream you will find in Utah. Some extremely creative flavors and of course the classics. They also have delicious fries, and I haven’t eaten much of their other food but it certainly smells great! They maintain a clean atmosphere and have lots of friendly staff.

Old fashioned lunch and ice cream counter, with indoor and outdoor tables as well. Quality burgers on gourmet buns, and old-time quality ice cream in lots of unique flavors. Child combo meal is a good deal, big enough for most adults.

Ice cream here is fantastic. The lines appear to be long but they have service down to a science. They move you through very quickly and are super polite and helpful.

This place is hoppin! If you dont know exactly what you want, stay out of the way until you do. We were there for the ice cream. It was much easier to check out and buy from their stash in the freezer. There are a lot of choices, some unique. The prices are good, as is the ice cream.

Some of the softest most creamy ice cream i have ever had the pleasure of eating. They sell this stuff in cartons, in tubs. If Im not careful the heavenly goodness filled tubs will make me tubbs.

Classic BYU place to stop. You know you are getting old when the kid behind the counter gives you a blank stare when you ask for some ‘Whoosh Cecil’. Good flavors nonetheless, and pretty cheap. Question: Are the students getting more rude?

Great ice cream and related treats. Also a grill and supermarket which I have not tried, but seemed popular when we were there. Limited parking, and staff that was a little over worked, but everyone in the area seemed short staffed.

Delicious ice cream!! Our favorite flavors are Graham Canyon, Bishops Bash, Pistachio, Fluffernutter, and Cherry Rockwood. Their waffle cones are totally worth the extra dollar. Long lines but moves very quickly. We will return!

A fun place to go when you are visiting BYU, but it does leave some things to be desired. We have never had enough seating to eat the ice cream or other grill items, and as a grocery store it is small and meant for students, but still a fun place to grab ice cream.

Went to the creamery for a family lunch. I graduated from the Y so I know how good the creamery can be.Our experience was nothing like I have ever had there. The floors and tables and chairs and booths were COVERED in fallen food, trash, and dried ice cream. We had to wipe our own tables and chairs down before we ate because there was no one to ask for help.When they got my order wrong, I went back to ask for different fries. They put the fries I had already taken to my table back into the tray that they would then serve to someone else.When someone finally did come around to wipe tables, they left obvious messes behind.We even saw one employee wipe a table down with a rag he had just used to wipe the floor!!!Having just come out of a pandemic, this was obviously shocking.I was EXTREMELY dissatisfied and disappointed with our experience. the food was good but I was worried the whole time that I had gotten food that someone else had taken back.I love the creamery but I most likely won’t visit again for a long time because of this. And I’m extremely disappointed in how they are allowing it to be shown to the public, many of whom come for a nostalgic experience, by ruining it with a huge mess and bad service.

You cant go wrong when you are shopping at this place. Their cottage cheese and yogurt is fantastic. If you want a burger or something to eat while youre there they have a deli/burger side to the store as well.

We went in on a Thursday evening, and it was a mad house. The restaurant ran out of food, and we left without one of our meals because theyd given it to another customer who had ordered after us.Weve had much better experiences there, but the team there needs to be better prepared for huge demand and big lines. Their communication wasnt good, and it definitely needed to improve on this visit. Food was OK, but overall not great on this visit as well.

Cookies and cream milk?!?!?!!!!!! Sooooooo yummy! And the brownies are so famous Ive heard about them for years! Finally got to try one of the peppermint brownies and it did not disappoint! I had a hard time sharing with my kids!

I love the Creamery! The food is delicious! I absolutely recommend the kid’s cheeseburger (trust me)! The student workers are always so kind and love striking up conversations. Recently, when I came in, as I was ordering ice cream which came with the kids meal, the older gentleman who works there accused me of trying to order a bigger ice cream than the kid’s serving the proceeded to take the ice cream out of the students hand and scoop some out of the cup. All I told her is that I ordered the kids meal and wanted to get some Graham Canyon. Of all my years in working in restaurants I could never imagine doing that to someone. It was really rude and embarrassing not only for me, but for my husband and the young woman who served me.

Very tasty ice cream! Though there was a line of several people, the servers worked quickly to take orders and make them. The staff members were friendly, and one asked if I were a faculty member--Im not, but Ive been called far worse! My cone hit the spot before I had several hours to drive that afternoon.

Byu creamery is the mecca for good tasting low budgeted fast food with superb Ice Cream. I always get the ernestly chocolate named after a famous BYU president. Super YUMMY!!!!

This is a great stop for locals in the area who arent looking to drive more then a couple of blacks to pick up some groceries. They are a little more expensive then other groceries but its close and convenient. The ice cream is amazing though so if you are in need of some of that this place is the place.

Best hand scooped ice cream this close to the Y mountain. Also the fries are stellar! The students who man the place are adorable! (Not too mention I know one of em). You can dine in but seating is very limited. Theres lots of outdoor sitting. Its also a small market for all your student shipping needs plus you can buy the ice cream by the box.

Probably the best burger combo deal in Provo. The fry sauce is sooo good, and the ranch is top notch. If you’re looking for ice cream recommendations, the best combo is half graham canyon and half bishops bash.

Good icecream worth money spent

I love the creamery food but tonight we came in at 10pm and got some really rude service. The posted Google hours say that it closes at 11pm. When we showed up, an employee came out and told us it was closed. When I jokingly told him all we wanted was ice cream, he responded quite rudely saying we needed to be there an hour ago. Then when I just recommended that they update their online hours to be more accommodating to customers that check those hours, he rudely responded that a posted sign is sufficient. Honestly love this place but I am rather turned off by this rude service. You do not have to let us in or serve us if you are closing earlier than the hours posted online, but at least be nice about it.

Fantastic ice cream and unique flavors at the BEST price I’ve found anywhere. Seriously, you can get a huge waffle cone piled with Graham Canyon and Salted Caramel Pretzel Twist for just a few bucks. Man. It’s delicious. Also this place is just really well-stocked and well-maintained and cute. Great for college kids but also just anybody to come visit. 10/10 love it.

The BYU Creamery has legendary ice cream and chocolate milk. Mitt Romney was once caught drinking BYU Creamery milk in the Senate :-). Ive spent years drinking Creamery chocolate milk from BYU vending machines. Though if you buy a cone, get the child scoop because they like to heap it on. Any more and its like, I cant eat that. But its all amazingly delicious, nonetheless.

Such a great little convince store! They have all the essentials for any college student plus a lot of quick bites of food you can get. One item I would really reccomend is the cookies and cream chocolate milk, it is super good. The store seemed to be nice and tidy and pretty well stocked up on everything! There was a fair number of people there when I went at 12 but only had to wait in line for like 5 minutes so it goes pretty fast!Definitely would reccomend this place and will come back again in the future!
