My wife and I asked them how much it would be to fix my car’s outlet and they told us it wasn’t a blown fuse, so they’d have to look into it further and it would cost a few hundred bucks. Luckily we said no, I took my car to a friend who’s barely a mechanic and it turns out that it actually was just a blown fuse. He literally fixed it in 5 minutes and it’s worked great ever since. We also just had them replace the coolant tank in our other car, but a couple of weeks later the light started coming on again so we took it in for them to re-fix the issue and even though we had the receipt from when they fixed it before, there was apparently a different issue that it had and they charged us another few hundred dollars for a job that we had previously paid them to do. They really seem like nice people but it’s just frustrating. I get that it’s a business and they have to make money but it seems impossible to find a mechanic with honesty and integrity. We’ve been going here for awhile for business but we’ll be looking elsewhere now for issues with our cars.

I have a 2012 mini cooper and they have serviced it well over the past few years, which is a relief because I get nervous taking my mini to places other than the dealership. Theyve replaced my brakes, changed my oil, and performed other basic maintenance and have done really well! Theyre honest and kind and I know I am being treated fairly!

This place is the most honest in provo. Ive been coming here for years. Ive been living in Provo for about 20 years and gone back and forth between different mechanics until I settled here a few years ago when I moved into the neighborhood period they are really professional super nice and arent trying to screw you

I have an old 98 Honda CR-V and the fuel door wasnt opening. I thought it would be a $160-200 repair, but the technician was able to fix it without having to replace the whole part (just did some quick adjusting) and didnt even charge me for it. Considering Im a broke college student, it really meant a lot.Theyre really honest and Ill be sure to bring my vehicles back in for whatever repairs I need in the future!

I love The car doctors! I have been there twice with less-than-stellar cars and both times they have done a great job! That helped us find the best deal to get the most with our money, they do great work so we don’t need to go in more often and get other things fixed. They are very kind and helpful! The technicians have taken me out and shown things to me on my cars and have helped me understand the problems without looking down on me for not knowing about cars. Michelle at the front desk is always super sweet and very helpful with any of our questions. I have recommended them to my family and friends and am very pleased with their help.

Got an oil change. New there were issues with my old Prius. Felt like they moved quickly to get it done after the typical 20 min sign paper even though I have an appointment time period that all mechanics have. Great deals, cheaper prices than clegg and just as good. They let me know of all the problems and potential future problems of my car without pressuring me. Very Likely will work with them again.

Nate and his team have been an absolute pleasure. I have a classic 63 Jeep CJ5 and I had hired another shop to put a new motor in it for me. I never heard from them and it took months and months to complete and never ran well with almost all new parts under the hood and drivetrain. Nate figured out what was wrong almost immediately, told me what I needed, allowed me to source the parts and had them installed and my Jeep running better than ever several days before he had told me he would have it done. Ive worked with Provo Car Doctors a few times and Ive always had a good experience. They do get busy at times which is to be expected when someone is honest and does good work.I recently needed an emissions test for a vehicle I purchased. It was last minute and I hadnt given them any notice but they were able to get me in and get the test done when I had the time that same morning.I recommend them often. Theyll even work on your Volkswagen!

Is hard to find a good repair shop. I often read reviews to see if I am going to take a chance. I took a chance on these guys for my A/C repair. They did an inspection and fixed what needed to nothing more or less. It has been more than a month since they fixed it and still works. The price was reasonable and it could have been a billion things that were wrong but they were honest and didnt try to up-sell me on repairs.

The most I know about this place is they have nice cars next door. Its in a really bad location and does not stand out. You need better advertising and you will most likely do better.

I went in for an oil change and emissions test. There were a couple minor things identified during the process that they made me aware of and fixed very quickly. There are a couple other things that could become more serious down the road that they made me aware of, but did not pressure me that day to have done. Customer service was awesome and the staff was very friendly.

I took my vehicle there for a coolant leak that I was very worried about being something catastrophic, turns out that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. They fixed the problem and even diagnosed that my vehicle was misfiring and fixed that too. I was expecting a $500 plus bill for the work they done and it was only 1/4 of that. On top of that they gave me a warranty on their workmanship and offered some additional roadside assistance coverage for free just for using their facility. Going above and beyond in this day and age is rare. I would highly recommend their services for any of you you’re automobile needs!!

This company is the definition of an honest car business that is so hard to find. They obviously care about their customers, and do their best by them. I had a bad alternator that ruined my battery. Before jumping in to replace it, they took steps to make SURE that I needed a new alternator and that the battery didn’t just die on its own. They try for the most affordable solutions first. Go to them for second opinions and you’ll find that they will be your best bet. All of them are so kind and they remember their customers, demonstrating how important their business and their service is to them. I’m so glad I found them!

Amazing car repair shop to work with. My car has broken down four times this summer, each time leaving me with less information and less money in my pocket than I had before. The good people at Provo Car Doctors (especially Michelle) helped me not only get a warranty on my faulty parts, but actually took the time to diagnose the problem and make sure this wouldnt happen again. They charged a fair price, and were even flexible in allowing me to pick up my vehicle after their regular shop hours. Would recommend this shop to anyone, and may be making the two hour drive from Logan to Provo so they can fix my vehicle every time!

I became acquainted with Provo Car Doctors through a door to door sales person selling a discounted coupon for auto repair and maintenance services. I took a chance on it, and it paid off pretty big. Not only did I get discounted and free services from the card (oil changes, inspection and emission, etc.), but I also found an auto shop I feel I can trust. I graduated recently and was just starting a business of my own. Being short on cash, Nate, the owner, instructed me in the repair of the problems he found during the safety inspection. I was able to complete those repairs myself for much less than I would have had to pay any mechanic. I dont like to fix my own car. Now I have a mechanic that I can trust. Thanks Nate!By the way. Good people. I brought my car in for a check engine light and they tried one procedure and the check engine light came back on after i picked it up. When i called them about it they fixed the real problem and didnt charge me another dollar and they were really apologetic. Good experience

I came to fix the back left tail light panel. Five visits and 200 dollars later it is still not functioning. Great guys, just not impressed with their work. I have wasted a lot of time here and would not come back if it were not guaranteed work.

You will not find a more honest auto shop in Utah County. Period. On multiple occasions, the owner, Nate, has shown me low-cost options and let me know how long I can delay a repair, instead of just automatically doing an expensive repair. I know theyll always be up front, and save me money. Last year, my door handle broke, and he personally tracked one down after looking at multiple wrecking yards. Saved me about $200.

I will never go back to Provo Car Doctor. Extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy. Be suspect of the slew of “5 star reviews”.... if it sounds too good to be true it’s not true.

I took my car in for a minor fix and it took them 5 days to even look at it. They had me keep my car there the whole time and it was very inconvenient to not have it. I called multiple times a day and each time they reassured me that the car was almost ready. The worst part was over the phone I was told that it would cost around $100 but when I went to pick it up it cost over $400. Later I learned that the fix really should have only cost $50. I rarely feel so taken advantage of and lied to. I will never go back

Nate has worked on my car many times during the past year. When things need to be replaced or repaired, hes not pushy about getting it done right away. After repairs, hes very willing to show me the old parts he took out and the condition they were in.

Prior to purchasing a used car for my 19 year old son, we took a car we were looking to buy to Nate at the Provo Car Doctors for a pre-purchase inspection. Nate did a very detailed inspection and found some issues with the car that prevented me from purchasing the car. Not only was I glad the inspection was done, the owner of the car was also glad to know the issue with the car that he was even unaware of. Thanks Nate!!
