Its a typical Bed Bath and Beyond. The staff/associates were friendly and very helpful. It was clean and organized.

There is a section for Keurig coffee pods that has a wide variety of choices that are priced better than most places. They have a good seasonal section. At this visit, the seasonal section had Christmas merchandise. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Huge store with a variety of options. They have everything you could need for the inside of your home. I have gotten numerous things from here over the years and they all have held up nicely. They are a little on the pricey side but well worth the money. Most of the staff is friendly. Nice place to go shopping if you need something for your home.

I went there with my Handicapped mother to buy something quick only to leave her in the car when I discovered all the handicap spots were removed to put in curb by spots, which by the way every car parked there was regular customers, no one in them waiting for an associate. My mother said she has a real hard time shopping there now because she has to park so far away and she gets too tired to do what she needs. A real shame. It’s time to get back to taking care of your older customers.

I recently moved into the neighborhood close to this store location. I stopped by this location twice to get items for my house. My two experiences at this store location were poor. The staff needs to be revamped and changed immediately. During my first visit to this store the sales associate that rang up my items was so rude. I didnt take it to heart. People have bad days. My second visit is the reason why I will never visit this store location again. I needed to purchase 2 king size pillows during my second visit to this store. In the pillow section I noticed that many of the pillows plastic coverings appeared to be ripped open. I contacted a sales associate regarding my concern of pillows or items in this section having damaged coverings. The sales rep stated that I would most likely get a discount because the plastic covering was damaged. We are in the middle of a pandemic. Items should be properly packaged. If they arent then I believe there should be some type of sanitation procedures in place. I asked for a manager. The sales rep showed the manager the damage to the pillows. There were about 20 -30 pillows that had damage to wrapping. The manager was oblivious that I was waiting to talk to him. He stated out loud that there isnt anything wrong with the pillows. That its ridiculous that this was addressed to him as an issue. These are perfectly good pillows its ridiculous to think that we would throw them out. That the pillows would stay where they were. No one suggested that he should throw any items out. But it would be nice if he could sanitize and possibly have someone tape up the packaging. He was completely unaware that a customer was sitting around waiting to talk to him. He was rude to his staff member for pointing out an issue that a customer addressed. He didnt provide a suggestion regarding sanitizing the products since the covering were ripped open. I was disgusted by the disregard for customer concerns and the overall treatment of customers.

I paid for a Beyond + membership at this location. The store associate gave me no paperwork and said I would receive an email and would access my membership through the app or online account. It has been over a week and my online account does not reflect that I am a member but the money For the membership was certainly charged to my credit card. I have called corporate twice and they tell me they have put notes in the account regarding this, yet when I go to the store they refuse to honor my membership. It is no wonder they are closing store locations in my area. Customer service is horrible and the people answering the phones in India don’t even understand the complaint.

As a lifelong BBB shopper I was super bummed at the Poughkeepsie store. The selection of items is small, random and sloppy. Nothing has a price on it, items are all over the place and choices are minimal and unsatisfying. The staff seemed kind of stressed and frantic for a not super busy store with the few people on line and phones just ringing. Bleh what a disappointment.

It wasnt pleasant at all. I was at the customer service line instead of a regular line. The manager happened to be the one helping me. He asked me if I had a return and I told him no, I was showing him what I want to purchase but there was something wrong with it. Instead of me finishing what I want to say he immediately said I needed to go to the regular line when its suppose to be a customer service issue since I have a question about the merchandise I want to get. He finally listened and he knew I was in the right line cuz he ordered what I needed online since they dont have the one I wanted at the store. He didnt even said sorry!Then his rep named John had a customer that wanted a specific curtain but had none at the store so the customer said can she purchase the one on display. Tom said yes with 10%off but had asked John if he check the other stores and John said the customer did.. so Tom said never believe the customer since John needed to check other stores to see if its available.Tom is the manager at Poughkeepsie Store (NY) 8/2/2020 @ 2:17pm. He was so rude, i understand its busy but he shouldnt work there, he doesnt know how to listen to customer.

Even though the store did not have the product I was searching for the customer service, as always, is one of the best I experienced. I have come to expect wonderful service and knowledge employees in this store. Employees are always willing to assist, polite, and happy. I love the honesty they give when they dont know much about the product because it isnt in their section and then they are happy to get the employee that knows more about the product. I recommend this store often.

They have a lot of merchandise packed in here. They have a lot of home necessities at reasonable prices.Staff are very helpful and will walk you to what your looking for.Parking is great and there near a lot of other stores so thats helpful to not have to drive out of the way

Great place to shop. Good service, when you actually get in front of someone. They always have a steady supply of customers, hence a better than average opportunity to WAIT IN LINE. The staff is friendly and helpful, yet the perpetual waiting always causes me to question the company approach to customer service and satisfaction.

Everything you need and more

I purchased almost 300$ worth of ugg sheeting. I picked pickup for Poughkeepsie as it said in stock. The manager there said she first couldn’t find my order then said it was in Newburgh but she would grab the items from the Poughkeepsie store if they had them. I said no you def have them and I had to pay a second time when I picked them up at Poughkeepsie. Then I get emails and texts saying your order is ready at Poughkeepsie. Hmmm weird because the manager said my order was in Newburgh!

Had everything I needed

I went here this morning and was disappointed with the selection of products. It seemed like a lot of stock was missing. But what really bothered me is that one employee was whistling loudly the entire time I was there. As someone with sensory sensitivities I ended up leaving and came back later only to find that the same man was STILL whistling. I’m positive this sounds silly to a lot of people but when you’re trying to focus (I was looking for double curtain rods and curtain panels for my new home) in a store with high ceilings (and very echo-ey) someone walking around whistling is extremely bothersome and distracting. Like I said, I’m much more sensitive than others who I’m sure aren’t bothered by something like this, but working in retail means you need to be cognizant of others in the store and something like loudly whistling shows you’re not thinking about how you’re possibly affecting others. I didn’t feel comfortable speaking with any of the employees in the store and felt a bit embarrassed to say anything - I still do and I know this review will probably make some people laugh or roll their eyes - but I felt I should say something as it made my shopping experience very uncomfortable.

They did not have what they advertised and what I went there for, but I got a couple good things for the kitchen, the only problem is the store is so tight every time you turn around you had to back up because someone else was in the aisle you cant get by them. Every time I saw an employee someone was asking them where something was, so it wasnt easy to get help. but I guess you cant blame the employees, the store should probably hire some more people

I found a light up ceramic Christmas tree that didnt have a price and there were no more in stock. They looked up the price and gave me the floor model for a price I knew was correct for the tree.

Im not pleased with this BB&B. In my honest opinion. I was in the area so I stopped into this store to pick up a couple things. Which ended with me just leaving the store, not buying anything, because 2 people were gabbing away on the phone not even caring that I was standing on the line to purchase the items I put in my cart. Terrible service Iwont be coming back here because the customer service was awful.

I was looking for a double bin garbage can, one side garbage the other for recycling all in one unit, 179 to 199 for a garbage can?!?!?!! It has made me realize that if people are willing to pay that much for where they throw their garbage... they probably have gold flakes embedded in their toilet paper too. This place is way over priced.
