Had my 95 year old mother with me to buy a printer. My husband and I searched for 15 minutes to get someone to page someone for help. Waited another 10 minutes for help. No place for old mom to sit and rest her painful back and legs. Store was minimally staffed and I will not go there again.

Aden who works in the computer and printer department has literally the BEST costumer service Ive seen in years. Hes an angel, hes so sweet but also very honest about the products and thats really good because sometimes employees will tell a customer to just buy this one thing cant explain much on it or why its the best to get cuz they just wanna get rid of you and get the sale and move on. Where as Aden did not he took his time with us and me and my roommate had an all around great experience at Best Buy in the Poughkeepsie Galleria with great customer service from their employee Aden ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Needed a cable to connect my phone to a new car, they had what I needed. What more can I say. I will mention we bought two appliances from the company working within that store recently, within the last 6 months anyway, and theyre both fantastic. We bought a new refrigerator as well as a new six burner range, both are General Electric products. Our salesman was George Lukacs, and we cant say enough good things about him!

It was a decent experience as it is one of the last major chains that you can get computer parts, electronics, hardware and even some software. But it still feels like you are searching for assistance with the vastness of the location. I give them credit that each section is clearly defined.

My mobile phone died! Verizon couldn’t help me since it was an apple phone. Ran to Best Buy where the Geek Squad quickly diagnosed the phone as done and sent me to Chris P to find a new apple phone. Chris was a true professional. He asked my requirements and found me the perfect phone. He set up my new phone, found me the perfect otter cover and clearly explained my coverage options. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. This was an amazing experience. Excellent job Chris.

I ask a lot of questions, and can be very indecisive. The two gentleman who helped me were extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. There are not enough people on the floor to help everyone. The people that are on the floor are unfriendly and seem put out when assisting others. Multiple times I heard staff complaining about the people they had previously been helping, especially when I was waiting for the 1 cashier to check out the line of people I was in at the registers. In some categories, like appliances, they appear to have an over abundance of goods, but the section I was looking in, computer accessories, there was not a great selection. Overall a really disappointing store I will happily avoid.

Nice to be able to touch items rather than just reading about them. Despite the stores size, they are quite limited in computer and surround sound options. Tons of laptops and tv screens, but little supporting peripherals. Staff is un-knowledgeable and pushy for a sale.

Just made a purchase at the Poughkeepsie store and was looking for survey link on the receipt but there was none. So, I want management to know that they have a very fine employee in Angie. She walked me thru buying a set of earbuds for my cell phone. I am a very cranky old lady and hard to deal with, I know. She exhibited both patience and professionalism and I left the store happy, having found the right electronic item for me.

I appreciate the sanitizer, and being greeted at the door. I hate that I have so much trouble finding help. Its like the home depot of electronics. The signs all say ask a blue shirt but 3/4 of the employees are not wearing the blue shirt. Once you find someone, they are helpful and friendly though. Ill still go here when I have to but only out of necessity.

I was impressed by their selection. And the staff was friendly and helpful. I bought a computer and I checked online, I really only wouldve saved a few bucks by buying it online as opposed to at their store. Its a great place to see a lot of electronics in action. Just be wise about the prices. Do your homework.

Would love to give 5 stars. Online purchase and curbside pickup was a perfect transaction.But...I have been calling for 3 days. I cannot speak to a human. The message said to do an online chat. After literally hours and days of holding on the phone, I did the chat. During the online chat, she realized she couldnt help me so, she then told me to call the store....which was what I was doing for 3 days. She gave me another number.I called and got that same non human voice telling me to hold. After a short time holding...I heard the voice a real person. Literally, after 4 days of calling, hours holding and online chatting, FINALLY, a real person.She made an appointment for today with the car electronic Geek Squad. FINALLY, I can have the issue resolved.But no...Today I get an email that its cancelled.Online purchase and curbside pickup...5 stars.Phone communication...0 starsHonoring a service appointment...0 stars.

I had bought many items in the Kingston store.and had a best buy card paid on time all the time.well they have these promotions no interest for 18 months.well if you dont pay it off in the 18 months they charge you interest on the whole amount you paid for it then without notice they charge it to your card.called customer service spoke to a women named Kiki and told me you have until August 1 to pay 454.00 dollars then they would take it off.iasked how about the 15 of August she said in a tone in her voice NO!!!!!.THEN WHY ARE YOU CHARGEING ME THAT INTEREST IF ITS NOT DUE UNTIL AUGUST 1ST.And they closed my account since its closed they will not get a dime unless they fix this.not happy and I will 100 people about it.

Poor customer service. The older gentlemen that works behind the desk at Geek Squad was absolutely rude to me after he provided me with inaccuracte informatin and misguided me about my warranty on my laptop. I will NEVER buy from Best Buy again. Amazon it is.

After purchasing a new microwave online from Best Buy, which had the best price among many retailers, we were easily able to arrange for curbside pickup, using the Best Buy app on the phone. Using the app, we were able to notify the store that we were on our way, and then again let them know that we had arrived. They brought out the box in 3 minutes. Very smooth and easy experience.

This business located in Hudson Valley is off on the side of the road and it is pretty good. When I arrived there the wait was pretty long because they were many outgoing orders due to the pandemic.Just to let you know, the weight for my food was not an issue. I knew that there were many people calling in because of the pandemic.Staff was pretty friendly, and the area was well kept. There were customers there and it appeared that they were enjoying themselves.It was friendly and the food was pretty good. I am looking for a place that when you do pay premium, you do get a lot of side orders with the main menu. This way I dont become hungry after I eat. Otherwise, come, try to food. Smile!

I live Best Buy I usually buy online and then pick up my order. This time I walked through the store with my daughter. She found something she wanted and then price checked it on Amazon and was able to save 30%. The girl looked it up on her phone snd issued the discount right there.Its a very big store I found there prices fair and I still buy 85% of my video games there to get my gamers 20% off discount on all new games.Plus take advantage of their open box specials they usually have great deals. 8f your online look near the price it should tell you other prices some might not be close but the can ship many of it.GOOD LUCK

My representative today Floyd was a amazing help. My son and I were there today and looking for my wifes last present. She asked for a tablet and with her having a old iPad she doesnt use much I was not sure which tablet to purchase. 9/25/2020: I would like to write a nice review, but I cant give more than one star because I never got the chance to speak with anyone or buy anything. Called yesterday... tried again today; same problem! Auto answer system said three minute wait time but after 42 minutes of waiting today, and 30 minutes yesterday I just needed to hang up....10/29/2020: Update - I have changed my review to two stars... After reaching out by email I was contacted by Walter, a helpful sales person. Walter spoke with Geek Squad and told me the 32:9 computer monitor would work with my Mac Mini. I bought it and it doesnt work. One month after my initial review, Im on hold again trying to get support before I take steps to return the monitor. After 36 minutes on hold I was transferred to the Geek Squad and then disconnected. I have now spent 2+ hours on the phone and have not been able to speak with anyone at this location. However, Walter the sales person promises to call me later today. It should not be this difficult.

Always have to wait 5+ minutes in the checkout line regardless of how busy the store is. Staff is hit or miss in terms of greeting and helping customer. Checkout lines are always held up by some kind of customer complaint or technical issue. Always some kind of obnoxious alarm going off from the store products, too.

Well I’ve visiting The Buy Buy Poughkeepsie for at least 10 years but today The worst experience bought some Batteries for my Car remote but one set specifically for my digital tire inflator open it only to find all batteries defective went track into store explain what happened was sent all over the store because Nothing stated clearly where customer service is finally got to a manager Karen after explaining to her I bought three packs of batteries and two packs are defective and I like route or replacementBut not the same brand Energizer she start acting as if I’m trying to steal two packs of batteries which I had a receipt for six dollars each I did retail for years never have I seen so much in experience in customer service explain to me that if I open the batteries and even though they were no good they do not except them as return I guess from this day forward I will be shopping on Amazon thanks

The Kingston Best Buy is only open on weekends, now and will be closing soon. I had to travel to the Poughkeepsie Best Buy to look for a laptop computer. The choices were not good. They were either out of them, or the prices were higher then I wanted to pay. I finally found one and have to wait on shipping. I dont blame the store. The person who helped me was very nice and helpful. Kids going back to school, and the effects of the pandemic are to blame.

Awful. Buyers beware when buying a phones at Best Buy. They tell you anything just to make a sale. They dont tell you up front after you pick your service provider they have nothing else to do with you. Your to go to your cellphone provider for any issues, complaints, how to use, and payments. There phone coverage insurance doesnt cover for lost or stolen phones. Theyll say yes, just to make a sale. Your only covered for damage of phone. I recommend just to go to wireless cellphone provider where your 100% protected. Not just a sale of a phone. If had I known this I would have never brought my phone through Best Buy.
