It was the worst latte I had in a long time. It had horrible after taste. We asked for it not to be too hot. It was hot as lava. There was no foam. It was just awful on every level. I would never go back!!!We thru it out after few sips. 5 min later and I can still taste it. Ughh.

The only thing Ive ever got here is the iced chi and its delicious. Its not too sweet and not too bitter.. its perfect!

I have been getting coffee from Port City for a couple of months and have tried many different flavors. Bali blue is a delicious medium roast that keeps me coming back for more. A couple weeks ago I ran out and couldn’t make it to Port City before close so I had to get a brand from the grocery store and spent every morning drinking it thinking about how much I wanted it to be Port City coffee. Great customer service and even better coffee!!

I ordered the ice hazelnut and its probably one of the best coffees Ive had in a long time. So yummy I love that its brewed hazelnut and not a flavor shot.

Great bagel egg and cheese. They also make a proper cappuccino, exactly what I needed this morning.

I love the Shipwreck coffee, a robust medium blend. I drink gallons of Morning blend at home. A small local coffee shop with the owners often there working away. THATs my kind of coffee shop!

Id like to give this place 5 stars because I love the old school roaster vibe, but the coffee was a touch over roasted for my taste. The latte was good, overall, and Ill be back if I get the chance.

Every visit has been a pleasant experience. I always get whole bean coffee, and Ive been coming for years because of the consistency and quality of the taste. They also add fun menu items, and today they had freshly squeezed lemonade. It was the perfect refreshment for this heat!

I’m a cappuccino lover and have been experimenting with local roasters. In my opinion, the Capone from Port City is the best around.

Strolled in looking for something that probably wasnt on the menu. I see they had a frozen mocha and I was looking for something like that but more towards a ice cream version of a caramel ice latte. I stated my desires and Stephanie knocked it out of the park for me 🤗The staff was very friendly, the place is clean AF, they have very close parking, and places to sit outside. There is a dogo dish for water and a hook or two for a leash. I will go here every morning I am nearby for a great cup and even better smile. Thank you!

Such a great small coffee shop. Got a latte with almond milk and caramel and it was delicious. They have generous sizes for coffees.

A cozy / local coffee shop with a good variety of breakfast and lunch items on the menu. Port City is not in downtown Portsmouth, but is also not far off of the beaten path. If you like local places, theyre worth a stop in.

Great local coffee spot!

I used to love this place but lately I’ve just given up on getting what I paid for. They never write down sandwich orders so it never has what you ask for and if you order a special drink (mocha turtle latte for example) be prepared to end up with just a regular cup of coffee for the price of a special. Doesn’t matter if they know your order because you’re a regular or they repeat it back to you. Doesn’t even matter if you’re the only customer there. They just don’t do it. Considering everything is a little pricier, I would hope to actually get what I paid for, although they should do that anyway.Very frustrating and disappointing.

This coffee shop was quite a find! I like trying new blends of coffee that are freshly roasted and Port City offers a great deal of variety and choice. I tried their Indian Malabar Mysore blend and the beans were very flavorful when making cappuccino at home in my professional grade machine. The staff is very friendly and the pricing is very reasonable, unlike the exorbitant prices in many coffee shops in Boston!

The coffee is dynamite and the staff was very nice. I also enjoyed the blueberry coffee cake! Highly recommend 😍

Winner of most bang for your buck. Coffees are big and cheap and way better than dunks. They roast the beans in house and also roast beans for a lot of other coffee houses in the area. One of my favorites for a coffee to go as the vibe is not really for hanging out at the coffee shop.

No frills coffee shop with fast, well priced breakfast sandwiches. Coffee was delicious, espresso was ok. Its a small shop that seems to be a favorite with locals but there are a few tables for sitting and eating if youre hoping to sit down.

Meh coffee; service was fine. bigger problem happened when i forgot my sunglasses and later called to confirm they still had them -- when i went to pick up, the sunglasses were gone. nobody was able to help or cared about the fact that one of the staff had (most likely) taken them. super disappointing and crushing for ones spirit overall. Wont ever go back.

In my opinion, the best coffee around. Doesn’t hurt that the large is pretty much a quart of coffee. Food is hit or miss, but when it’s on it’s well above average.

Friendly service, great coffee. If you work on the tradeport and youre into good coffee, this is one of the closest choices you have. Buy some whole beans roasted fresh while youre at it!
