Friendly staff, good prices, decent selection.I went in to get contacts but ended up walking out with glasses because I couldnt convince my eyes to allow for contacts. The staff were very friendly and helped me pick out new glasses. They dealt with me facetiming my friends for advice and gave honest advice for lens options. Ended up getting a new pair of glasses and new lenses for my old pair since I still like the frame style (plus it was 50% off the second purchase). Parking was also easy since Lloyd Center is now a ghost town.

Fantastic service from Nic! So good that I ended up purchasing three pairs of glasses that I love. He went the extra mile by fitting some old lenses into a new frame. He knew what to do with my strong prescription and was very helpful all around.

All the staff were respectful, friendly and helpful. The doctor took time to explain the results of my retinal scan and gave me repeated opportunities to ask questions. The glasses staff were helpful and didnt pressure me to purchase a more expensive set of frames. Finally, it was clear that the staff enjoy each others company and witnessing their friendly banter made the experience even better.

Every single employee I interacted with here was amazing. Two people even took the time to give me feedback on a bunch of different frames which was extremely helpful considering my sense of style ends at matching socks. The appointment went pretty quick too so gold stars across the board!

I went in for an eye exam because its been a few years since Ive updated my prescription. They gave me a new prescription and I ordered glasses online with a vendor I had used before. When the glasses came in, they were useless. Everything is blurry. I brought the new glasses into visionworks and was told that it was a manufacturing error. I then re-ordered another pair with my old prescription from the same manufacturer and its fine. Im not 100% sure who is at fault here but Ill be going elswhere for my next eye exam because I suspect that I got a bad prescription from visionworks.

This was the first time in my life. I had my eyes examined, and prescribed eye glasses. I was very nervous and anxious. I dont like my eyes messed with.Wow! The staff for my exam was great! Very friendly, understanding, and helped ease my fear and anxiety. Dr. Andeleanu was knowledgeable, understanding, informative, and showed me the importance of eye health, and preventative eye care. He prescribed the best eye prescription for my eyes.The Visionworks salesperson Jonathan, helped me so much, with finding the best eye glasses for me. He helped me understand what my insurance covered. Showed me the best lenses to pick for my glasses, and why. Was very patient with me choosing the frames I wanted. (Im very picky. I have to fall in love with what I purchase). It took me an hour (my fault) Im un-decisive. Gave me honest, and positive feedback with what frames I chose. He wasnt pushy on me buying the most expensive glasses, and unnecessary products. I hate being pressured. Dont push me. I will fight you (In a nonviolent way). I ended up buying my first pair of frames by Calvin Klein. I would have purchased Tiffanys if they had them (Im buji in most products I purchase). My second pair were much less expensive, in case I loss, or broke my Calvin Kleins. (Not worried of them breaking. I was buji on what lenses, and frames I bought). I was able to try my frames on in a safe, COVID free, secluded area without my mask to see what they look like without my mask. What a difference a mask makes with wearing glasses! Oh! Speaking of lovely COVID. The staff made sure everything was sanitized effectively, and safely. They gave me a tray to put the glasses I tried on in. And after I picked my glasses I wanted to purchase. They sanitized all the glasses I tried on very throughly, and safely. Very impressed. Also, when I arrived for my exam. The staff asked thorough questions about having any symptoms and exposure to COVID. Plus, took my temperature.Unfortunately, I have to wait for my eyes glasses to be mailed to the store. The lab at the store was closed due to lovely COVID. Not the staffs fault. Safety first. Jonathan said it could be up to 15days for them to arrive. I had my visit on Thursday 2/25/21. So, still waiting. Not mad(even for an impatient person,as I am).After insurance, for my eye exam, and eye glasses purchase. My bill was just under $266.00. But! I didnt pay out of pocket. My HSA through my employer. That, I didnt contribute into. Only my employer. Paid for the bill. HSAs are worth it people! For prescriptions, medical, and dental etc. Win. Win.I wrote this review because, as a person terrified of anything to do with my eyes. Having my first eye exam, and eye prescription in my life (Im 38yrs old. Dont judge!) Visionworks was incredible to me! I cant wait to see them again, when I pick up my eye glasses!

Ellie & Nic were amazing! The dynamic duo 👍 They really were so helpful and kind. They made my experience so much more enjoyable and so much less intimidating (Ive been putting this off for years) they worked together to find the perfect pair of frames, I even ended up getting 2 pairs! They were so accommodating and had to disinfect probably at least 50 pairs because I tried on so many different frames. Nic got me squeezed in early because I showed up 3 hours early by accident, and Ellie made sure I got they best bang for my buck to ensure I got the best quality lenses. They both worked together to find the best frames and gave their honest opinions about which ones looked best ( opinions which I asked for). And they both are the reason I wont go anywhere else for eye care. Their knowledge, expertise, and customer service was so appreciated. The whole experience was PERFECT 😉

I went in today just to have my glasses tightened and the service was friendly and prompt while they were quite busy. I have had 3 pairs of glasses from this Visionworks and, without exception, I have had wonderful customer service. No mistakes, nothing late. Garrett and his crew do a great job.

This is my first time to Visionworks at Lloyd Center. I called to get an eye exam and was scheduled the same day! After my exam I had the most amazing customer service experience with Runako. It was close to closing but he never made me feel rushed and helped me choose my frames and I also qualified for a rebate which he also helped print and showed me how to fill out.My glasses where ready a few days earlier than expected.. Awesome!I wore them through the weekend and noticed issues with the fit so I returned today. He adjusted them but I want to mention again the customer service was far beyond any experience I have had at a eyeglass place before. He measured my vision from my old frames to help adjust my néw frames and took his time to be sure that my Progessive lenses fit me perfectly with my vision problems I was experiencing. I will definitely be back for all my vision needs! Thank you Runako for your amazing customer service!

I can’t stress enough how awesome my experience was here! I have a REALLY high prescription and Garrett and Nic were both so informative and helpful so that I left with the perfect pair of frames that would accommodate my prescription. They were patient with all of my questions and understood the stipulations of my insurance so that I didn’t go over the amount of my copay. Overall the entire staff were very nice and accommodating! They also had amazing deals on their frames and a ton of selection for anyone, no matter the budget. Would definitely recommend anyone to come to this store!

I got a regular eye exam for a new glasses prescription, and then picked out new frames. The wait for the optometrist was rather long, but he felt genuinely friendly and kind, so I didnt mind too much. The staff had some difficulty with my insurance, but they were extremely helpful and I felt like they genuinely wanted to help me, even though it took a while. Overall, the service was slow, but I really recommend it to anyone who that isnt a dealbreaker for.

The people in here were so beyond helpful and patient. especially Ron, he was so funny and kind. There was a woman that was clearly almost senile asking for directions (I would never have been able to handle her) and he was so patient and kind and even walked her out the door to show her how to get to the bus station. They didn’t end up being able to help as much as I wouldve liked, but they did do the best they could. Fantastic place.

I stopped in with my partner to just browse; I was in search of a particular look. We were greated by very friendly staff who then called on his associate Danielle to help, calling her The Frames Expert, which turned out to be extremely fitting! She readily gave me pair after pair to try on, listening to all of my (very) specific wants without sounding tired or annoyed at any point. When I said wed have to come back with my prescription she let us know she is usually at the Beaverton location but wrote down the frames I liked most so I could find them again with ease. Very pleasant experience with lots of choices and deals!

Went in for my first eye exam the other day. Very kind and helpful staff. Turns out I need glasses so they gave me a prescription. Runako was the optician that helped me choose my frames today. He is kind and listened to what I told him I was looking for, then proceeded to find *several* frames for me to try. He gave me time and didn’t pressure me. He had my prescription faxed from my eye doctor and figured out how to optimize my insurance for the best price. All in all a pretty easy and enjoyable glasses-shopping experience.

Garrett has been nothing more than an absolute pleasure to work with at Vision works, I have gotten my glasses there for the past 2 years and I can say I throughly enjoy the promptness and quality of service I receive! Ive been going to this place since I was a kid. My family has frequented this store since around 2000. Always pretty good service, friendly staff, not too bad. I kept going here as an adult because its what I knew and they had all of my records on file at the optometrist. It was convenient.Yesterday the glasses Ive had for less than a year snapped. I went into the store to ask about a repair or replacement since Ive had them for less than a year. The woman at the desk, while very nice, informed me that I was out of luck. They dont perform repairs and because I hadnt purchased a warranty (an added cost on top of the $500 Id already paid for a BASIC pair of glasses, no progressives, basic RX), they wouldnt replace the frames, even at a reduced rate.This shop is pretty good in regards to the people who work there, but the company its self will gouge you for every penny they can. If an item you sell is faulty and breaks, you replace it. Simple. Apparently not simple enough though, so Ill be taking my 17 years worth of business elsewhere.Edit: Got my new frames from Warby Parker (they have a brick and mortar downtown on NW 23rd if you want to go try on a bunch of frames) and theyre great! Only cost me $100 and I got them within 3 days of ordering them. The price covers repairs to the lenses if I manage to scratch them - AND they give a pair of glasses to someone in need, so bonus.

My husband needed both regular and sunglasses, and he HATES to shop. We came in on a Thursday night, and, fortunately, the store was empty,Runako was great, patient and helpful. We even had some laughs during the hour we were there. He knows the product lines very well, and made some great suggestions. All in all, a very good experience. He is an awesome employee.

Really enjoyed my service from Runako. I asked him for his help picking out glasses but I know I’m picky, which usually turns off people in customer service. I always feel like I don’t know what I want, but I know what I don’t want.He didn’t give up on me! He kept making suggestions, and even though it was clear we were there when they were trying to close he continued to provide great customer service.I’m impressed with the care I was given, especially considering Runako had a lunch if 9 tacos. How he powered through no one will know.

I had a great experience. James helped me pick glasses that were stylish, good for my facial structure and my prescription. I bought a regular pair and a pair of sunglasses. I love both of them. The glasses were there when promised and I havent had any problems so far. He fixed my husbands glasses and he hadnt even bought them there.I bought my previous glasses there several years ago and the customer service was not close to the quality I experienced. My glasses were broken beyond repair and with my terrible eyesight I was unable to wait for glasses. The staff here were terrific stopped wha my they were doing to make my glasses so I could have same day service. What they did was more than making glasses they made it so I could drive home go to work daily stuff thank you so much.

So, I am a busy person and I dont have a million years to mill around all day shopping for glasses. Also I am a bit of a newbie about glasses. I was glad that Chris at Lloyd Visionworks was confident and provided clarity to the choosing of glasses. I felt confident that the frames would look good on my face. Some people might like a hands off experience but I really liked that this man helping me choose the lenses was not off in the distance. I would have wasted time if I were by myself dithering over all the millions of options. He seemed to make a beeline to the exact choices that would be right for me hair and face, and knew which ones to skip. He just knew so much about it all it made the experience go by quickly. Also I never felt rushed, I just felt kind of cared for.

I have always been kind of shy when I came to buying glasses at other places because I felt as though the sales people would just point out a pair without getting to know what I like in order to just “make a sale”. I’m so fortunate that my friend told me about this place because for once in my life, I don’t have buyers remorse! I was greeted by a gentleman named Runako. This gentleman was very kind, funny, knowledgeable and much more! He pointed out various styles for me and made me feel very confident about how they looked. Runako was very helpful and informative. He gave me very great feedback on the frames I picked out. He wasnt a pushy sales person, answered all my questions, and was very personable. He even gave me a small discount on my frames. It was a really refreshing experience. Getting new frames is fun but also a bit of a chore. Reading previous reviews I went there hoping that I will get high quality service and my experience was quite opposite.Although James presented product knowledge he treated me in so malicious, condescending manner that I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Instead of explaining politely technical features of lenses and glasses he was just barking like a bad dog - cutting short all my questions and concerns.Do not go there you will waste your time, money and resources. They DO NOT CARE for customers - just only how much money they can charge to your health insurance and take out of your pocket!

We had to adjust the bifocal line several times to accommodate the stronger prescription and associates were very patient and kind throughout the process. I also received a lot of help selecting frames which I love!

Had a great experience at the optometrist here as well as ordering new contacts. Really easy to get in as a new patient and customer. Recommended.

Very positive experience. I purchased 2 pairs of glasses for what I spent on 1 at a local boutique store. I had a problem with both pairs when they arrived. Technically the lenses were within mfg tolerances, but since I have a weak prescription the subtle difference bothered me. They simply had both pairs remade for me. No cost, no muss, no fuss. Very happy.

Id like to thank Garrett for two outstanding customer services experiences this year. The first was for (quickly) replacing glasses Id purchased elsewhere. My high-end go-to place gave me a turnaround time of 10 days to replace my reading glasses. Garrett set me up with new glasses within a few hours. I was so pleased with the experience that I walked out with two pair instead of one. (They were a different style, less expensive, but ultimately a more practical choice overall.)Fast forward to today when my reading glasses, which had endured a slew of assaults and clumsy hits, finally had an arm break off after I had stepped on them one too many times. Once again Garrett resolved my problem - but today it took him as long as it has taken you to read this far.In other words - Garrett is definitely a resolution oriented person, and I look forward to dealing with him in the future.

I needed glasses so I decided to go to Visionworks at the Lloyd Center since Ive seen fancy frames there. The girl Katie met me with a courtesy and she was super friendly. She helped me to find awesome frames, told me about recent deals and every possible option to do. She knows her job really well and I appreciate her attitude. I was visiting Visionworks few times then and everytime I had great customer experience. Katie, Runako and Garrot are people I was meeting with there and I definitely can say that they deserve to have 5/5 because of the ability to serve with a respect, friendliness and professionalism. Very disappointed with their billing. They stated they would be billing my insurance and they never billed them and billed me instead. My insurance company called out to them to get them to bill the claim and Vision Works told them they would be billing them. I just got a second bill to pay for my glasses today. I called my insurance company to see what the issue was and they stated they still had not received the claim. This is poor service on Vision Works side. Im very disappointed with their billing department.

Great service, the employees there really make it a great place environment.
