Worked with Carin a few months ago to design the new construction home as Surface is contracted with the builder. She is very open to all questions and tries to make the best solution of our flavor. She is very responsive and supportive. I was worried about the process as this is my first time to design interior from the beginning, but it was not difficult at all with her.For a few special requests, she communicated with the builder and make those requests accepted for our flavor. She also is very diligent to visit the sites often to ensure that the house is constructed as we requested!

Jamie was incredibly helpful. She listened to what we liked and where our budget was. She offered a terrific range of options. The result was a beautiful bathroom thanks to the great folks at Surface.

Stopped by here originally to get some dimensions for a Schluter drain that wasnt available online. Evan was helpful and while I waited I saw some tile designs I wanted to check out later.They requested I make an appointment so I called a few days later. I asked for an appointment to come by and look at bathroom floor and wall tiles. They told me they couldnt offer me an appointment but if I wanted to come down right now they had no one in the store. I stated that I was hoping to come by at lunchtime and they promptly told me I would have to make an appointment for that. Confused yet? I was.I asked again, Can I make an appointment? and they now said I would have to email in to someone else because they make their own schedule and would get back to me with options. WHAT!?!?Im not sure if its elitism or just plain old incompetence but if they need me to jump through that many hoops just to see some tile samples, I can go somewhere else. If you value your time and sanity, find another showroom. If you enjoy feeling like youre in an absurdist version of Whos On First? these are your folks.

First off the space is amazing. The products they carry are top of the line and the staff here is friendly. They made sure everything was taken care of and I didnt have to worry about a thing. Really great shop.

We have used Surface for several of our projects. The staff provided us with good information and communication throughout our projects. We have used them for simple materials only projects, to more complicated installations. We find Surface competitively priced and they have some unique offerings. We have recommended Surface several times to friends and neighbors with great success.

We’ve just completed a two bath heated tile floor install, two full tile bath surrounds plus a large kitchen tile wall and five 3 Cm. composite stone counter tops in four rooms. My wife and I are totally impressed by the quality of both the finished installations and the contracting expertise displayed by Mr. Wickwire and his team.It was a difficult and unique job in many ways and we highly recommend Surface. They went above and beyond in a world where service is becoming a rarity. They exceeded our expectations.

Lack of support and knowledge was astounding. I wouldnt trust them is all I can say. Very bad experience.

Long story short, horrible communication and scheduling skills result in a horrible mess.To start off with the nice things: the show room is great, the contractors that they use to get the work done are average. Prices are a bit higher but not by much.We ended up going with Surface for our shower remodel because we were told that it would effectively be a hands off job, and that they would take care of everything. Sadly this was not the case, I ended up paying for the privilege of managing them and the project.Even though we had a staff member come out and double check our measurements, not enough product was ordered, surface staff was not communicating with the workers thus I had to inform them as to what the project was. Half way thru the project about half the tile needed to be replaced do to further miss communications between all parties involved. And to top it all off when everything was finally completed the invoice was wrong.In the end, we like our shower, though it was not at all worth the hassle when there are other shops in town.
