I am writing this review both as an interior designer and a personal client. Classique is bar none the premier surface store in the region. Locally owned, Classique carries a curated selection of the best materials. As I designer, I prefer to partner with them because they are highly knowledgeable and act as an extension of my team. I can bring clients in and know that they will be treated well. As a consumer, I have used them on personal projects in my own home. I love that they take care of everything, from measuring, ordering and tracking to meticulous installation and clean up. Before going to the usual suspects, I highly recommend checking out Classique.

I recently had blinds installed in my house by Classique and they look perfect! I was referred by a close friend to Abby and Jennifer and once connecting with them the process of shopping to install was flawless. They responded to every question in a timely manner and were flexible in working with my schedule. Most importantly they provided accurate quotes that were affordable by comparison which made the decision to use them super easy. For all the projects I have done on both homes I have owned, this was by far my most pleasant experience Ive had as a single female. I will 100% use Classique in the future for any services they offer.

Abby and her team were awesome to work with! I loved the wall and floor tile we found for my bathroom and that it fit in my budget. I chose Bedrosians’ Cloe tile in white for the walls and Z Collection Re-Micron in Grey for the floor. Abby let me know a sale was happening and made sure the discount got applied to my order. I purchased new carpet and engineered hardwood for my entire home from Classique. I had a unique circumstance requiring that the floors in my home be replaced quickly, but I wanted something that I loved. Abby worked with me to find a beautiful product and get it here quickly. She was amazing to work with and gave me confidence in the entire process. Her installer was excellent and I am extremely happy with the finished product. After doing lots of research, we went with Classique and we are so pleased. Greg, John and their installers were wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them especially if you are considering environmentally friendly flooring options. We had a lot of requirements and Greg was able to meet us with options and patience! We had a number of major challenges sourcing the particular flooring materials we wanted and Greg was great to work with through the whole process. We have Wicanders cork throughout our house and wool carpet on our stairs.

I went to classique with a design for a bathroom which would be completely tiled. The plan was to do a unique design in the bathroom with drawings to show her. Ask for simple things like bull nosed tiles. She says they dont have any tiles like that. YetoYet her sample boards they had bull nosed tiles. Referred me to other tile companies, was reluctant to give me prices and turnaround times and basically walked away when another customer came in. When people dont want your business you shouldnt give it to them.

Classique Floors has helped me update my last and current home, and I couldnt be more satisfied. All of my carpeting, kitchen & fireplace tile is from Classique. From my consultant Linda, to their selection & installers, Ive had a 10-star experience. I cant recommend them enough!

Julie N. has helped us with 5 projects now. Most recently we replaced all the flooring in the house; a mixture of artificial wood and carpet as provided by CF. The carpet we selected looked great on swatches, but once the carpet was installed, it looked not so great. Julie and Judith Huck jumped in with the 30 day back guarantee if you dont like the carpet, it will be replaced free in 30 day. The 30 days gave us every opportunity to warm to the not so great color. 30 days later the carpet removed and a new carpet provided by CF installed.Wonderful business model and true to your word. BTW... I love the flooring your great flooring guys installed down stairs. It looks and performs (I have a big dog) perfectly. Cant think of anyone I would want to work on my projects but Classique Floors.MK

Classique was amazing in helping me design our master bedroom shower. Julie was amazing to work with and had such great insight and design ideas. And when there was a mix up on tile size delivered and a delay on the delivery date, they worked with me to ensure I received my product as soon as possible. The store feels much more personal than some of the larger tile stores and they have an amazing selection of products. I would highly recommend them!

The staff at Classique Floors + Tile really care and make you feel like you matter. They are well trained and know their products. Their selection is fantastic and they are skilled at helping you find something that will please you for years to come. I love that they have a long term relationship with some of the best installers. Misleading experience. Referred by the Portland Fireplace Store across the street for their tiling service.My wife and I came in hoping to get an estimate and ideas for a living room fireplace tile rebuild project. They sent a person over to our house to take pictures and to give us a ballpark estimate. He did a great job taking measurements and gave us a few style ideas. He left us feeling really confident. We told them wed be coming in over the weekend to get ideas and purchase materials. However, When we arrived to buy tile, get assistance about style options, and to get a solid price quote, we were told the estimate we were given was not even going to cover half the project price. We were told that their professional contractors did not feel comfortable doing the job, and we could do it ourselves. We were also not given options on pricing tiles, but rather told with our taste, it would be much too expensive. We attempted to get the sales designer to give us options, but she was unable to clearly communicate alternatives. When we told her how happy we were with with the contractor who came to our home, she said he was sick and thats why he gave us another price range, and that she should have charged us for his visit, rather than offer other options or negotiate a different ballpark figure. Unfortunately, they lost our business on a project we were really excited to work with them on. It would have been more appropriate for them to call us and re-inform us that their contractor had mislead us, rather than us going there to be insulted on the price they had originally gave us.

I loved the selection of floors at all price ranges. Beautiful showroom, knowledgeable staff.I was on a budget, I couldnt afford anything but vinyl for my kitchen. They still had tons of different selections for my price range. I found a simulated slate vinyl, that looks absolutely stunning. The staff didnt mind at all that I was a really small job at a budget price. They all treated me well. I was not rushed and they didnt push me into anything.I selected my floors, and the installers came on the scheduled morning right on time. The two guys they sent were the nicest guys Ive ever had work on my house. Very friendly. They did the job very quickly, and the floors look absolutely perfect. Very professional. Best yet, they taped off the area with plastic, so nothing else got dirty during the demolition. I didnt see any trash or waste. Everything was cleaned and installed perfectly. Excellent place to do business with.

Great selection and tons of options of quality brands at fair prices. I shopped and researched for months before finding this store, that had a better selection at better prices than anything else I had run into.Ive discussed my planned hardwood install with two different people there, and both were friendly and helpful. This store is an example of what kind of awesome can come from honest business in a free market.

The Best!

Because of allergies, we needed to replace all of our carpet with 1200 sq ft of a different type of flooring. On our first visit to the store we were assisted by Carly who showed us the numerous options available. She was very personable, knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions. We were surprised that we were allowed to take large samples of flooring home to give us a better idea of how a particular design would look. Once we decided on a product, Megan came to our home to take measurements. We were very impressed with her knowledge and ability to answer our many questions. Once we received our estimate from Megan we decided to go ahead and purchase our floors from Classique Floors. We selected a date for installation and several times before the installers came, we requested some changes and Megan was so patient and worked with us without any hassles. The installers arrived on June 6, a day of record breaking heat and started the 3 day carpet removal and new floor installation. Our condo is on the second floor and it was hot with the need to have the doors open so the workers could go in and out. The next day June 7 was again a day of record heat. Finally on June 8, the installers arrived at 8:15 am and worked nearly non stop until completing the job at 9:30 pm. The installers were wonderful did a beautiful job and we are so glad Megan was able to get them for us. Today we woke up and were in awe of our new floors. Thank you Megan and we are very pleased we purchased our new floors from Classique Floors.

Classique Floors. We are very pleased with the workmanship for replacing 3 bathroom floors and new base boards. Travis did a great job, attention to detail and we would highly recommend him for tile installation.

I had a consultant come by for a quote and she never followed through with an email or quote like promised. I followed up two weeks later with an email wondering if I was supposed to send her pictures or something to get this started. I never got a response back. If they are going to pass on a job, I would appreciate a bit more communication.

I had an excellent experience at Classique Floors +Tile. Very experienced staff from start to finsh, which prompted me to purchase my tile from tbem, they even assisted me in finding a product they didnt carry. I highly recommend them for your products.

What a great resource! Found the tile that gave our kitchen project the custom look that sets it apart from materials found at the big box stores. The service was excellent!

Me and my Fiance came in to get an estimate on how much it would be to redo our floors downstairs. Kim worked with us very closely and, I kid you not, gave us several estimates to help us work around our financials. There were a few snags here and there but every time Kim was there to make it right and work with us. As a young couple, we are very used to being treated as such. Kim was the opposite and treated us with respect.We ended up getting the floors and the baseboards done downstairs by Travis and Larry. The installing was super quick and a very plesent experience. Travis was very nice and so is Larry. Our floors look fantastic and it was just the thing we needed to pull all our renovations together. I couldnt be happier.We even had an incident where my finace scratched the floor and Travis was willing to look at it for us. I ended up fixing it accidently but either way he was willing to help solve the issue.Also... Travis used some scrap to transition the baseboards and our cabinets together. This wasnt asked during the install and we were very pleasantly impressed and surprised that he took the time to do that. As I said, Travis and Larry are amazing!!We are now going back for carpet and baseboards in the rest of the rooms which will be done later this month. I have no doubt in my mind the carpet install will be just as good.I highly recommend their services and if you have communication issues (I saw a few reviews that mentioned that being the only reason not going with their services) dont let that stop you from going with them. Just try and get everyone on the same page. I promise the final results will be worth it.

A super flooring and counter-top store. Check out the model bathrooms and the huge selection of products, many eco-friendly. Knowledgeable staff led by Judith Huck, owner, who is a great supporter of local community events as well. Big enough to compete with the big box stores yet small enough to care for you personally.

Classique undid about 450 square feet of horribly installed DIY ceramic tile and helped me choose living room/kitchen flooring that withstands pets/children. Results: stunning. Wish Id done this years ago.

I had Mark Herron from Classique floors come out to my house to give me a bid on replacing the carpet in my house. He showed up on time and measured and drew up a diagram counted steps and everything. We then set a date to meet up at the showroom to pick out what we might like. I went to my meeting he showed me the drawing which was really impressive I knew I was dealing with a professional. He showed me some carpet and pads. We ended up picking out a very high end carpet and a 20# pad for less then the carpet we had looked at at home depot. I was very impressed with the pricing I was able to get and the installation price was great too. This should be good enough for a review but it gets better. The installer showed up and started working right away. I chose to remove my old carpet and move furniture to save a little money. They hauled off the old carpet!!! I wasnt expecting that. Then my daughter who is 4 was a little upset about her room being tore up and the installer made her a little carpet and put it in her doll house. She loved it and its still there to this day. The next day they brought back a couple little medals for my kids. I have to say that without a doubt this was one of my best transactions to date. I doubt this would have been my experience at a large home depot or the like. Stay local support small business you will be glad you did!!

Great experience with this company. I was on a huge time crunch and the combined efforts of Megan and John put carpet in my 1000 sq ft outbuilding in a swift 7 days from initial contact with Classique!Megan crushed it in so many ways. I never even needed to step foot in the office. She helped me pick out carpet over the phone (sending me pics and options via email/text). I also told her my deadline... and she worked her magic and made it happen during a very busy time of year. Even when I called her with a last minute change just one business day before installation she just rolled with it. Couldnt believe she didnt scold me... I deserved it. Haha! Flexible and professional! Top notch in my book.John installed my carpet and it was clear he had quite a bit of experience in similar situations to mine. This was a huge building with concrete floors (not the easiest install by any means) He not only knocked it out solo in one long day of work but gave me his cell phone number and told me if there were any problems he would personally come back and make it right.If the professionalism and client care of these two individuals is an indicator of Classique Floors as a whole, then this is a company worth doing business with.Thanks a ton!

I am the wife of the previous reviewer. To be clear, we were more than happy working with Zachary, the gentleman that came to our home to give us an estimate. His communication skills about our project were clear, he spent a lot of time on details, and he was able to give good ideas by looking at the space we had to work with. Even if he had miss quoted the price, we would have continued to work with him at a higher price if we were told there was more work involved than originally thought. Our bad experience was with the sales associate, Kim (I believe that is her name). From the beginning of my communication with her, I felt she had no understanding of my project. She kept asking for pictures of other fireplaces, even tho the project I am trying to do is custom and will not look like other peoples fireplace. Zachary immediately knew what we were trying to do by just looking at our space. He brought back pictures of our space to the office for Kim to see, but she still wanted photos of other peoples fireplaces. When Zack was at the house, I asked him if we could schedule an appointment with another designer because I felt Kim was difficult for me to communicate with. He said they dont do appointments, but there would be other staff working as well. When we arrived, I tried to request a different staff, but Kim insisted on helping us. I do feel we may have had a better experience if we had a better fit w a staff that clearly understand our project and had communicated things differently. Sometimes its just a bad fit.***Update: We had a masonry come look at our fireplace, who said it was a very easy standard fireplace remodel, and quoted us ~$1,500 in labor (not including supplies). This was much more inline with what Zack said when he was at our house, and very different from what Kim told us. She went on about the possibilities of wall rot, and we had a crack in our brick making it a ~$5k job. Im so glad we moved on from this store. I have no experience working with them on floors, but they were recommended for fireplace remodel, and I dont think theyre the best fit for this project. They dont seem to have experience with fireplaces, know how they are built, or how to remodel them. Go to a masonry for fireplace remodeling.

My husband and I just went in there completely prepared to buy carpet and the gentleman who was helping us was so rude and very abrupt in his answers to us that my husband and I walked out. Im not someone who would rate somebody poorly but i did not appreciate the way we were spoken to. His mannerism was very unprofessional.

We purchased the 3/4 Red Oak hardwood flooring - worked with Zachary Allbritton who came to the house to take measurements. We would really like to highlight the work of your installer Kody who came out last month to remove our old kitchen linoleum floors, dining room carpet, and hardwood in the hallway. He was a one man team! He did the work of 3 strong people. Very clean and all the debris was removed in one day.Kody worked without any grumbling - he took pride in his work like a craftsman. The floors look better than we could have imagined. He was careful about planning out the grain and color of the wood as it was placed next to another plank. He worked harder than any contractor we had ever seen. This is a shout out for Classique Floors and their superior installation!!!

Megan was a big help in directing us to the LVT flooring product in lieu of laminate. Her pricing was competitive with on-line options but with the peace of mind that Classique will deal with the manufacturer on any issues we may have once the flooring arrives. Megan saved us from Lumber Liquidators!

Mark Herron and his crew, Travis and Larry, were spectacular. We had our floors done last week, and we are ecstatic! From the initial consultation with Mark in my home and at the showroom, to the time of completion of the project, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The communication from Mark and the crew was fantastic - its so hard to find that these days! When there was a little snafu with the flooring materials upon installation, Mark came out to the site to look into it personally. The matter was remedied within hours and the project kept moving ahead. We were kept informed every step of the way so we were never left to wonder what was going on. While I understand that complications happen in all construction/renovation projects, its how they are handled that speaks volumes about a business. I cannot recommend Classique Floors and Mark Herron enough. If you need anything flooring related, please do not hesitate to call them.

We worked with Megan Gebhardt at another company last year as we were starting our building project. It took us a year to get everything going due to work commitments. So after Christmas 2014, we went back to the other store and found Megan had left. We googled her and found her at Classique. So we called Classique and got back in touch with Megan. She has been amazing work with - knowledgeable and patient but so helpful. Megan does not waste clients time by showing them things that will not work for their project or products that they are not interested in. Her suggestions were very helpful and made what could have been a very painful process less painful and quick. We highly recommend Megan and look forward to working with her on future projects.

We first noticed Classique mentioned on the website Houzz, & also on Angies list. New to the area, we visited Classique & several other shops in Portland. The store itself is very appealing with a huge selection of flooring options. We decided to work with them & had Megan out to look at our space. She has a good, intuitive eye, listens well to what customers are wanting from the space, & quickly helped us develop the plan.Once materials were in, installers Pavel & Yuriy proved themselves pros. Our installations took two days, look stellar, & the team was personable & easy to work with. They had to resolve some tricky bits & did so impeccably. When they left, things had been cleaned up & it was a delight to walk into our new spaces.Thank you Classique, Megan, Pavel & Yuriy! Very pleased with the work.

We had our kitchen floor done by Classique quite a while ago, and they did a very good job explaining to me, a layperson, some of the differences between linoleum and larmoleum . Now were thinking about carpeting, and they are the first place were thinking about.

Wow, what can I say, Carly, Classiques design consultant was amazing. When the initial estimate came in a bit too high, she helped me pick out just as beautiful tile, that fit my pocketbook better. Carly also scheduled my tiler & floor installers. Petr, was a true craftsman w/his tiling, plus hes great to have around on site. Nick & Bryson did a fabulous job on the marmoluem floor. My job wasnt an easy one, as I wanted an ADA accessible shower, which required lots of extras, like slightly ramped flooring both in & out of the showrr, but it all looks seamless & everyone raves about my bathroom/shower. Good work! I would definitely use Classique Floors again!!
