I took my car to Pacific Motor Sports two years now and $15K later on several visits the initial issue of my engine running rough was never fixed after being walnut blasted, new coil packs, sparkplugs etc. My car would return with more warning lights on than when I took it to them. Other Items I asked to be addressed were never even looked at. Took it to Kuni BMW and in one afternoon was sent a video with a full report of a leaking vacuum hose that was causing the misfires as well as a full listing of other issues never addressed by PMC. I fully understand my car is a V12 and exotic but wish the work could have been done correctly the first time, saving me money and getting my car back running like it should have been.

There is no better place to take your BMW. I took my car to a few others in the area and my experiences were never good. I’ve been taking my car here for years now. They are kind, courteous and excellent mechanics. Once you take your car here you’ll never go anywhere else.

I believe I found the primary home for our BMW X5 that we are very much enjoying. I spoke with the owner on my first call for about 20 minutes and when I brought the vehicle in, Chris was great and we sat down and connected for a bit. I had them do a Post Auto Inspection where they went through the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and the car came out in great shape with just a couple things that I need to do. I now have peace of mind on where the vehicle is in terms of condition. I have already set up my next appointment to take care of a few hiccups. It’s nice to know we found trustworthy and friendly mechanics close by that believe in what they do for a living.

This shop is amazing! They gave me the most thorough prepurchase inspection Ive ever seen. Also,when I was researching shops I called a few different places, and Pacific was by far the most knowledgeable and friendly. They gave me so much great advice. Their passion for these cars is evident. Their price per hour was also quite competitive with other specialty BMW shops. I had a few special needs/requests, and they were right on top of it. Finding a place for auto care is a real pain!! Trust is the key issue in my book...can I trust them to be honest and provide good advice regarding my vehicle. I have a 1989 e30 and new to the area. I’ve taken the car to a few other BMW specialty shops in the area before but was never satisfied with the information I was getting about the car. I was finding that the shops were not calling out obvious maintenance items needed on the car and really just felt like any other shop and not a specialty shop. I was a little timid about bringing the car to another shop but decided to bring it to Pacific Motors for an annoying ABS light that’s been intermittently on and was floored to find that they did a courtesy health check of the vehicle with a link with pictures of every maintenance items found on the car and a green/yellow/red marker of how crucial it was to get fixed. Also the owner Mark took the time to hand wash the car and introduced himself and spent time to talk with me about his love for e30s. Being new the area it was really refreshing to find a great shop and also know that they care about my car in detail as much as I do. They found the issue with my abs light, gave me an education on my personal e30, and got my trust again on taking my car to a shop when needed ! Thanks Pacific Motorsport!

My BMW X1 started having overheating and shifting issues. I took it to Pacific Motor Sports where the problems were diagnosed within the same day. It took a week to fix, only because parts took a couple days to get to the shop. Chris was super helpful and checked in with me throughout the process of my car being fixed. I’m so glad we found Pacific Motorsports. After approaching our car problem with a local dealer who has always done a good job for us, we checked with a couple of different repair shops to see if we could find a way to get the repairs done without the high cost. We found this and more at Pacific Motorsports. They didn’t cut corners. They did all the repairs (computer blue tooth, spark plugs, valve cover), were efficient, friendly and helpful, and saved us several hundred dollars. A good doctor, and good dentist and good BMW service shop.

I had a drivetrain malfunction that appeared intermittently for a while after a snow storm stressed the awd system and the battery in my car. I took it to Kuni BMW to double check that everything was okay since the malfunction warning had stopped appearing and they read the codes and told me I needed a new transfer case for nearly 8k as well as front brake pads and rotors. Another independent shop said my car needed thousands of dollars in miscellaneous maintenance items. Took it to these guys ready to plop down 5k for them to replace the transfer case.They road tested it and checked the codes for me. They said the car doesn’t need anything more maintenance wise (other than oil changes.) until about 75k and it Turns out the awd system and transfer case are functioning normally! A weak battery was the likely culprit and they saved me thousands. Only shop I’ve found that didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary engine cleaning services and such and now the only place I will trust. They will really take the time to explain things thoroughly and that was so refreshing!

I have been using Pac Motorsports for a few years now. I’m an enthusiast, so I’ve brought them tons of different BMWs. E30 318is, E34 540i, E34 525i, E28 535is, E34 530i and an E90 330i.Everything from head gaskets to suspension to electrical problems from old water leaks. Excellent service every time.Although the service isn’t “cheap”, you save money by getting accurate diagnoses instead of someone fumbling to figure out the problem for a week at a time.Plus, given the concourse level cars I see parked there now and again, I can only assume they’re the best BMW mechanics in town.

This was my first time using Pacific Motorsports and I’m beyond thrilled to have found them. Over the last year PCM has guided me through the process of restoring my 1985 535i from the ground up. They figured out what was needed and scoured the world for parts. They brought it back from a $2500 eBay find to this gorgeous car that runs like a clock. Everyone at PCM from the owner, to the master mechanic to the service manager has been just completely outstanding to work with. I couldn’t be happier and couldn’t recommend them more highly for your classic BMW.

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a repair shop!

First time BMW owner and I was kind of nervous about trusting any shop that wasn’t apart of the dealership. Pacific Motorsports came highly recommended from a friend. The customer service is awesome. I got an introduction to who they were as a shop and why they were passionate about cars and what they do. I brought my car in for a low beam bulb change, something I could have done myself but with no time in the schedule and my vehicle being a mountain commuter having a headlight out just wasn’t an option. The service was very quick and they even washed and detailed my car inside and out. They say no one will clean your car as well as you do but “Jimmy” definitely got really darn close. Long story short, phenomenal shop and will most definitely be having all necessary maintenance and service done by them!

Performance BMW shop that will work on your bmw i3! These are hard to find. The courtesy check was also FREE. They offered Extremely fast service! I scheduled my appointment online just a couple days in advance on a Saturday. Work was done the same day and well. They even found a potential hazard during their courtesy inspection of my bmw i3, tightened the bolts up on my rack and pinion, and made sure I didn’t loose a wheel while driving down the road. Will be back for another oil change in the future.

Have had substantial work done prior to this visit but came in this time to get a quick oil change. They double checked the repairs they made last time (no additional cost), gave me an estimate on how long it would take + price, and stuck to the timing + price so I could get on with the rest of my day and pick up the car when the service was finished. Real friendly staff, enjoyed the experience end-to-end.

Every person I came in contact with was extremely friendly, which is always refreshing. Unfortunately, they were unable to locate the noise my car is making when it hits certain bumps in the road. During the five hours they were trying to locate the noise that’s coming from outside of the car, they called to inform me my driver side window had broke while they were rolling the window up/down. I thought this was interesting because a new regulator was installed within the same window about three months prior and was working perfectly fine.

After a good chuckle at BMW of Portland, I stopped by Pacific Motorsports. I was blown away by their level of professionalism, precautions for COVID, and respectable pricing. Being someone who likes to work on cars myself, I felt more than confident I was in safe hands. Not to mention their new technology that is used for your report makes it feel like you were there right beside the mechanic during the whole process. 10/10 will use again.

The owner (Mark Dikos), Service Manager (Chris Rigel), and the technicians were all very personable and professional. Their inspection report was extremely thorough and included pictures and videos of the respective areas. It was a tough diagnosis that has plagued me for months. Random non start. Pacific refused to do a blind shotgun approach and figured out a way to diagnose the problem. They fixed it at a fair price and me and my baby are back on the road. BTW it is my 2001 e38 740il! I have over 215,000 miles on it because Pacific has been its service provider since I bought it!

Pacific Motorsports did a remote PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) for a 2011 M3 I was considering buying out of state, and couldnt be more satisfied with the results.The PPI report was very thorough and detailed once I received it.
