We took it there for $60 eval fee which would be applied to repair for fixing windshield wiper. It was a very curious problem and they fixed it with resetting code. Most places would have charged a lot-especially a dealer. This was painless and cost $75. Fixed within 2 hours which we needed since we were out of town and just passing through.

Well it’s been over two weeks now since I had my car serviced by Pro Tech Auto works. I waited this long to write a review just in case but I have to say my car is running great thanks to them. It didn’t take very long to fix it up for me and I really appreciate their help in getting it done the same day I called and said I had a problem. Thanks to Steven for letting me know I could go in that day, Chris for working on my car and for also checking to see why my front washer fluid wasn’t working. He didn’t have to but he was thoughtful. Thanks to Freddy as well for doing his best to communicate with me. His company is well appreciated.

I was here yesterday as I got my battery replaced at AutoZone down the street and when I was screwing the terminal on, the screw broke. I took it to Pro-Tech, and the mechanic was able to find a new screw and nut that worked perfectly, and didn’t even charge me at all. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend this shop based of this act of generosity alone.

We will not use this shop again.The lead mechanic is no longer there (the one who knew what he was doing).They overcharged (a quote of $392, became $587 because they said they replaced items they did not replace).They had the van for a week and delayed completing the job.The lead mechanic no longer works there and now the current mechanic (there are no ASE certifications on their walls now) does not know how to diagnose mechanical issues correctly. We took in an a van with an engine tick/knock, they suspected manifold gaskets and replaced said gaskets (I checked). They also said they replaced the manifold bolts and replaced collector gaskets and bolts.ONE bolt on the collector was replaced (passengers side) NO OTHER BOLTS on the manifold were replaced (I can tell, since they are pretty rusted).They did not replace the collector gasket on the drivers side, and one bolt is now missing (they took it off, and left it .. never finishing the job).This shop was sold prob ably a year ago and the mechanic at the time was awesome. The hired a mechanic, Chris, who was certified in multiple areas. He was awesome. Now, they no longer have him and their management has changed hands. They are charging for work that was not completed and not done correctly.

Dropped my car off for diagnostic and they called at 1 to say they couldn’t find anything wrong. Told them to change the oil and I will pick up before they close. I called at 5:00 and no one answered, got a ride to the shop to find they were closed and I told them I needed my car because I had to work the next day.Horrible service and I worry now that they didn’t even do the oil change. It shouldn’t take all day for diagnosis and an oil change. And they first told me it would be $500 and I said never mind I will come get it then lowered the price to $200.DO NOT take your vehicle here!

Dan is the MAN!! The previous owner of my vehicle utilized this shop, so I continued to do so as well. A complimentary diagnostic for check engine light was completed...my oil change was done...my AC was fixed...amd theyll complete the work for my engine light. Dan is the main one Ive interacted with and appreciate his down to earth demeanor, thoroughness, and time to explain all in lay-mans terms.

They diagnosed and returned my car to service in one day.cat was in limp mode when I took it in there. It tested for 5 different issues on the scanner. They figured out which code to address and that fixed them all. I felt they did a great job. Not cheap but todays cars are not cheap to fix. Just the scan tool cost thousands then the training to use it. I would recommend these guys.

I went in for a pre purchase inspection at the location Im portland by flying pie, which was 220 freaking dollars, and they missed the cigarette lighter not working and two obd2 codes, and missed diagnosed a leak as an oil pan gasket leak lower but turned out to be a timing cover leak. Ive mentioned the cigarette lighter twice in follow up texts theyve sent and they ignore it every time. Save your money. Edit: I was confused about your location but this is the correct one. I ate at flying pie while waiting for the inspection. I edited it to be correct.

I had an AC compressor installed along with new front and rear shocks. The crew is high quality, and they are easy to work with. My new go-to mechanic shop.

I have used this shop religiously since I bought my car over a year ago.After writing a raving review just months ago, i am sitting in the office of pro tech editing said review. The quality of over all service has gone down.I LOVE the mechanics and Dan especially is kind and helpful even when they three brothers who own this place leave him with no information or help at the front desk for the last couple hours of each day, when people are picking up their cars. When quoted for my control arm two weeks ago, it was six hundred and something. The price has not only gone up to seven hundred and something but also, i dropped my car off on Monday, the schedule says Monday & Tuesday were the days it was scheduled. It is now Wednesday at 5 pm when I said I would arrive to pick up my car after TWO DAYS and they never ordered the parts 🙂They never call to let you know the job is done or that it will be taking longer than expected, I suppose i am expected to call THEM to ask about the job they are doing. I have never been expected to do that before, this will be the last time I use this shop.For $120 an hour, you can get a phone call when your car is gonna be late for pick up, just not at this shop.

Hired Pro-Tech Autoworks services to make a car pre-purchase inspection. Dave, Kris and their team made a comprehensive written report on the cars condition and needs and still had the disposition to explain every single item. Their work was very professional and it felt like talking to a friend, having received received all their honest advice. All that for a really good price!

I joined Protech Auto’s monthly membership a few months ago and I’m very happy with the service so far. They usually are able to fit me in the day I call, or at least within that week - they stayed a bit later on New Year’s Eve to fit me in. Their customer service is always friendly and I don’t feel like I’m being tricked into extra services, which is a huge relief and rate to find in mechanics in my experience as a female bodied person. I plan on keeping the membership until I leave the area.

Freddy was on it! He suggested I bring my car in to look it over and was positive he could get me a great deal on a transmission. I didn’t listen. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Wasted a month with another auto shop. He fixed it and got me in right away, worked with me on cost. And was able to get my car up and running again in less than a week! Should have listened to him in the first place. Pro-tech will be my go to shop from here on out and I truly recommend them to anyone!

Horrible experience with very dishonest and rude people. Stole money from me for services not performed. New owner, Joe said he would repair then bailed after numerous conversations, texts and instead of communicating directly with me, sent his office manager Fred to attack me verbally. Very dishonest and rude business. Do NOT trust this business! Never again will this business have my trust nor will anyone I know will ever use this business. Come to find out, I was being ripped off a second time quoted double cost of a rebuilt transmission. Ive been reminded by many people and repair shops that I am not alone, they have had the same experience with Protech Autoworks.. I gave Joe many opportunities to fix this. 2mos still no phone calls in process of getting attorney

My car had a bad Alternator on my modified charger, because my other shop I took it to, didnt tell me I needed a better one. The work was done right away, compared to having to wait a week at the other shop. They were nice and friendly and keep me in the loop with what was happening by sending me texts.

This shop was able to get us in the very next day. We dropped off two older VWs both with various check engine codes and one coolant leak. They provided a FREE diagnostic check and great service at a reasonable price. All were extremely helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

I was most impressed of how these guys value your time. They worked around my work schedule and got my truck done in a day. They ended up staying overtime just to finish it in time. The work was done right, however I did notice some things that were wrong. However they welcomed me back to fix what I was unhappy with. They invited me into their shop and that’s when I noticed Pro-tech has a solid group of guys that care about the service they are offering. From the beginning to the result of my fix I’d summarize my visit as professional and honest. I would recommend people to give them a shot if they are looking for a honest and professional shop, which is a rare these days!

I set up an appointment to fix temperature issue witch was the thermostat . i also have check engine on ask them to install back shocks and to check for klunking noise in front and to install spark plugs witch had the part. so iget a call they said check engine light didnt come and that they dont have a diagnostic tool for my cars obd1 one port . i told them i gott a 332 egr code.and ask if they can check the vacuum. so they told 1600 for spark plugs.600 for front pads.so what i got done was thermostat and struts witch i brought.still have klunk and check engine .they didnt seam to care

Unbelievable experience. Team is extremely nice. They had an issue with the repair due to a faulty part. However, they took the time to make sure it was right and didnt charge extra for the time it took. Gave a military discount and provide excellent communication with me. I had to leave out of town the next morning for work, leaving my wife with no way to get the vehicle with little kids at home that were sick. THEY BROUGHT THE CAR HOME TO HER!!! Who does that??? Just... Wow! After relocating here and leaving my mechanic I had for 10 years... I was concerned finding a new one. Not anymore. I wont go to another place but here!

We had our 2008 Ford over heated on the freeway during 5 pm traffic in 90 degree weather, so we pulled to the median and called for a toe truck. We were overwhelmed by traffic and heat when the truck Driver asked where to take the car, we let him choose! Pro-Tech was the place but it was Friday night and they could not get parts until Monday. By Monday noon the part was on the way and the estimate was reasonable. By 3pm the repair was done. When we arrived they showed us the old blackened part. They seemed honest and were not waisting time. We would go there again.

Friendly Staff, very flexible with my Company while deciding on a large repair needed, as well having provided a fair price. Have since brought more vehicles for work done, and will continue to do so.

The one star is for the Man and his daughter who gave my family a ride to shari’s. I thank them. This shop was not equipped to fix my issue. Instead of admitting it they allowed me to get back on the road over 300 miles to Sacramento where my truck is currently at a dealership doing what they were supposed to do. They charged me for a service that was covered under my warranty because they dont know what there doing. Im.... and now no one will answer the phone.

Getting my car repaired was very simple thanks to the owner, Finian. He worked quickly to get the parts ordered and replaced as quickly as possible, and he kept me updated through the whole process. These gentleman performed an oil change on my vehicle (near closing time =/) and brought to my attention my skid plate was hardly hanging on. Ive had issues with past vehicles and other shops have told me to put it in my trunk or trash it, but they wouldnt address the issue. After talking with the tech he went beyond expectation and helped secure it back to its near OEM status. Nice to not be treated as an idiot first of all, but secondly just to put in the extra effort at the end of a long day. Its the little things like that make me feel good about bringing my business here.
