Later when giving me a status update, it turned out that the work needed would extend over the weekend, and he checked in to make sure I wasnt without transportation.Throughout the entire engagement, I felt very much assured and that my car was in capable hands.

Ron Tonkin Honda on 122nd fixed a key problem for me. While there everyone was kind and helpful. A young man from the service area was entering and held the door for me, offered to help, after I explained what I needed he directed me to a service manger and ask if he could help in any other way. All the service managers offered help at one time or other (I had a two hour wait). Even the new recruit being trained in service took the time to visit with me and make me feel at home while waiting. I have had great service from all the Ron Tonkin dealerships up and down 122nd but this was the best so far. Ive been to them all at one time or other in the last twenty years. This is why I keep coming back.

I bought a new car at Ron Tonkin Honda a CR-V Touring 2021 it is a great car the salesperson Pete Young contacted me when I went to describe the car I wanted and he called me up to let me know that they had one that color and all the whistles, I went there on the 28th and saw the car that they had for me was the exact one that I needed. They said theyd call me the next day and let me know if the car was still there they did so I drove up with my other car and working with me and helping me with my new car and my trade in they made a great deal with me that I could live with I showed my wife the new car and she is in love with it I think if I ever needed a new Honda I would definitely go to Ron Tonkin on 122nd avenue they showed me the appreciation for what I needed and for the great service thats why I gave him five stars.

I recently had a great experience purchasing a new Honda Accord Ex-L from Ron Tonkin Honda. I was helped by Serena who was knowledgable and upfront about the car. I live in Washington and Serena was kind enough to offer to drive six plus hours to pick me up and bring me to the dealership. Although I was able to find my own transportation, it was an incredibly gracious offer. It was a pleasure purchasing from this dealership and I would recommend it to others.

While shopping around for a new hybrid SUV, I had the pleasure of working with Tait. When I first called he informed me they were part of the Costco Auto Program and I explained to him I was looking for a hybrid SUV. We went through the process of setting up a test drive. After the test drive I told Tait Id be interested in the car. Later him and some old financial manager tried to up-sell everything on me. The older man try to belittle me and make me feel stupid for not wanting the extended warranty. Then Tais proceeded to let me know that the car I was looking to buy wasnt even a part of the Costco Auto Program. Please do not waste your time with this dealership, they are only out there to make a dollar. While Tait was personable, he wasnt upfront about the cars that qualified for the Costco Auto Program. Again please do not waste your time here.

I have been a loyal customer to Ron Tonkin Honda for many years. I have a 2010 Honda Insight and have always trusted Ron Tonkin Honda for any and all service needs. Frankly, I was concerned to take it anywhere else since at the time I got my car, Hybrids were not as common. I always thought that by coming to Ron Tonkin Honda I would get the best service and they would know how to properly handle my car. However, over the last couple of years it has become apparent that the customer service aspect has severely declined. Although they have always been nice and professional when I am physically at the location, the experiences over the phone and with ongoing issues have been quite disappointing. I am left feeling that if I wasn’t making a request that generated a monetary gain for them, they didn’t have the time to help.Here are a couple of my worst experiences:When Honda had the airbag recall I was asked to provide a copy of the service record when the airbags were replaced in order to file a claim on the class action suit. Since I was not the original owner of the vehicle there was an issue with the information coming over electronically so I had to get a hard copy and mail in. I called multiple times asking if they would email me or mail me a copy. After months of waiting I finally went in and they printed one for me.Over the last year I have started having an issue with my car starting and the only modification that I have ever done was installing a remote start system, so I thought that might be the issue. I left my vehicle with Ron Tonkin Honda for a few days so they could diagnose the issue. When I picked up I was told there wasn’t a drain but that the battery was old and just needed a new one. I happily paid to get a new battery and didn’t have an issue for a couple months. Then the same issue started all over again, so I brought it back and was told I had a faulty battery and it was still under warranty so they replaced free of charge. Again I happily left and didn’t have an issue for a couple of months. Then one morning, same thing, car wouldn’t start so at that point I think it is something more and decided I needed to take to another shop to look at since nothing was getting resolved with Ron Tonkin Honda prior. The new shop tells me there is a drain from the stock alarm system, coupled with yet another issue of a faulty battery. When I called Ron Tonkin Honda to ask about the warranty on my battery a person in service took my information and said they would look into the record and call me right back. Five hours pass and I end up calling back and asked someone else in service about the warranty. They then asked what the issue was, as though they couldn’t see all the prior record notes on this ongoing issue. Then he asked us why they would replace another battery if it had already been replaced under warranty. I was appalled. No explanation as to the timeframe of the warranty, no questions as to how they could help, just utter disgust by the fact that we would ask about something that has been an ongoing issue. Again, it really felt like since there was not an opportunity to make money, they didn’t want to help.I will not be returning to Ron Tonkin Honda for any service in the future. I am very disappointed by how they treat long time customers.

They fit me for a service appointment and completed the work while I waited which only took two hours.Nice selection of fresh food in an innovative vending machine.Everyone, but the two receptionists were wearing masks, which I appreciate.I wish the dealership was more friendly to the disabled as there was no way to signal Service I was there, no automatic doors, and tight spaces to navigate between Service Desks and Waiting Area, so difficult for walkers and wheelchairs.

We started on a long road trip when—oh, no— the check engine light came on. Fortunately we were not far out of town, so could return to the RT dealership. Although we didnt have an appointment, they were able to check out the car and give us an estimate the same day. Junior assisted us so we knew exactly what was wrong and when the car could be fixed. They found more potential problems and final bill was even less than the original estimate. Paying the bill was even less painful because of the friendly office staff. It was worth every penny to delay the trip and have a road worthy vehicle. Thanks to the warning light and to good service!

DONT WAIST YOUR TIME WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Already spoke to Customer Relations Manager Carol, so dont bother! 2 trips within a 24 hour time frame to dealership to look at a specific car and made arrangements with the salesman and our professional mechanic to test car and car could not pass a diagnostic test. Not to be confused with their 182 point test. Made a 3rd apt next day as we were told they were suppose to fix and was told in a text from salesman that the car was sold! They didnt have the common courtesy to call us! Spent our time and money and was never told the car could be sold from under us. We thought if weve committed to this car and have another appointment for it to pay for another diagnostic test then it should be honored. Very poor customer service. We were told by Customer No Service Manager that cars are in high demand so basically were out of luckily. An appointment and word of salesman to hold car is worth nothing anymore with this company! Just shows its not about the customer, its about making the almighty dollar with this company! Will never buy a car from them again!

I was the opposite of excited to have to car shop, with the microchip shortage and used cars being super pricey, but after a totaling accident I didnt have a choice. I did some test drives at a handful of dealerships around town and was pretty mortified by some of my experiences. After following up to thank Tait again for his kindness, he went above and beyond to secure the car I was looking for. And the fact that Tonkin takes deposits takes so much anxiety away from the process. Tait made sure to keep me posted every step of the way as I was under a tight schedule. I just picked up my car yesterday and I couldnt be more thrilled with my purchase and the process that led me to my dream car. Thanks again to Tait and Tonkin Honda for everything!

Great service from a tall young man. Very friendly. Super helpful in showing the different models. Talked with me to find out which one would fit what Im looking for in a car. Very happy with my shopping experience.

The staff was wonderful, masked and friendly. Gary checked me in quickly and the service took less time than expected. The waiting area was clean, welcoming and enough room for us to socially distance. I was able to use the WiFi and got some work done while I waited. They even texted me when my car was ready.

Excellent service, Wilbert was straight forward and gave my wife and I all the information we needed to make an informed purchase. It was really nice going into a car dealership and having an honest interaction. We will go back and work with Wilbert again.
