Brett and his team were awesome, honest and went out of their way to ensure my vehicle was well cared for. I will be taking all my cars there from now on. I highly recommend working with Brett as he is dedicated to providing top notch and efficienct service.
Ive been here with my old car, and Im back again with my new car.I found this place to be very accommodating and well within my budget. The folks behind the counter are so helpful, they took the stress out of getting all my stuff ordered correctly. They even made my day when they said I could have my car back the same day.It lets me know they are listening and care. I would 100% recommend if youre looking for new tires on a budget.
These fine folks always go above and beyond. The work is honest, and always done correctly the first time. They are my only mechanics. They go above and beyond. And I am very particular and picky about finished work.
Very prompt & friendly service! I brought my car in for a tire puncture repair and was impressed with how quickly they were able to fit me in and how helpful the staff was. They also performed a basic inspection and went over the results with me, but werent pushy about trying to sell additional services like other places are. I will definitely be returning for any repair or maintenance needs in the future!
Great service and communication during the quote and service but . . . I discovered they grossly under inflated my tires (30psi), which made the ride of these expensive new tires not so smooth. A friend helped me sort it out and put 45psi in the rear and 40psi in the front which made it ride like the $500+ I’d just forked out for. Service people in the bays need to pay more attention, I told them several I was going on a road trip and that my vehicle was carrying extra weight. I just drove 2500 miles on some rough roads and the tires performed fantastic!!!
My rear car tire had a nail puncture and Sandy Blvd Point S. Tire & Auto was quick to give an appointment and efficient at repairing the puncture in 1 hour. I was also met with friendly staff who explained the process!
They were quick on replacing my tires. I told them the tires I was contemplating and rattled about four sets and my guy didn’t try to muscle me into the most expensive. I told him what I drove and he listened to what I was deciding from and he was just like no these are the perfect tires which weren’t the most expensive. I sold vehicles for Toyota and did well because people liked that I never pressed them into something that didn’t suit them. So mad respect to the crew at S point. They’ve won me over as a return customer that extra $ is coming on the back end. Big ups guys!
This was my first time being serviced by Sandy Blvd Point S and so far Im satisfied. Colton was friendly and great at communicating the status of my vehicle. I was surprised at the speediness of their service for having such a booked day. All in all, I will be recurring customer!
The folks at the shop managed to find time to do a tire repair for me, despite being booked up. They were quick and professional.I have used their services before, and definitely will again. All good n all, a great experience.
I brought my truck in for new shocks and tires which was done promptly. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with it when I got home. This coincided with some other work that I needed done as well. The problem was with the tires (not the install) and the other work was determined to cost more than they originally quoted.Regardless, they worked diligently to solve the problem, got it fixed, and then honored their original quote despite it costing more in parts and labor than they thought.Ultimately, they took care of me and my truck and I appreciate it.
We are very happy with the service at Sandy Boulevard Point S. We had a check engine lights go on twice and they were very helpful and got us in this morning, despite a busy day for them. Colton was instrumental in making all this happen…kind, understanding and best of all educated us on the problem and a future plan, if necessary. They are the best guys!
I live in WA and called ahead. They had me come down just to take a picture of my car and told me they would send me options in about a day. Waste of time driving down there and inconsiderate service. When I got the quote, they are way overpriced.
OUTSTANDING experience from start to finish. Had the tires I was looking for, got me in the next day, great communication the entire way through. Service team really excels at making this a better place than most. Payment is simple and zero problems with finished product. Highly recommend.
These guys are great. Always helpful and get the job done right. Fixed the nail in my tire and didn’t even charge me. Will continue to go here for service and tires. Thanks guys!
Great experience working with a knowledgeable group at Sandy Blvd Point S Tire & Auto. They provide a complete breakdown of my needs for my cars and provide suggestions for auto maintenance and repair. I appreciate all the advice they provide.
Call around and check prices before committing. Winter tire change over is $50 more at Sandy Blvd Point S than The Dalles Point S.I know there are differences and rural is often less but each Point S is independently owned and just because you got a fair deal at one does not mean a fair deal at the other.
Very nice folks, Alan especially! Appreciate the quick service on the nail in my tire.
Called and was told an oil change would be $59.95 and take two hours. Got there and was told it would be $64 and take 5-6 hours. They did charge me 59.95 when I pointed this out, but they never called me when car was done. I called to check after 5 hours and only got message service, so biked down there after 5.5 hours. The car was done. My afternoon was shot and I had several errands before driving out of town for a week. Straightforward info and basic consideration would be appreciated!
Great communication! Anticipated my needs and questions. Extremely thorough: They create a log for your automobile, taking photos from every angle, odometer settings, past oil stickers, etc. They supply email, text and call updates in real time. Clean, fast, and their front staff was very knowledgeable. Their entire system is sublime. Economical as well. I only had a couple experiences with tires remounted and patched, but I was *very* impressed.
Came in as a walk in at 8am and spoke with Colton Andreotti about getting 2 flats fixed on my car, said he could have it done that day. Sure enough I come back 3 hours later and my car is finished and ready to roll. Great guys, great service he even gave me a great deal! Definitely will be back for anymore problems in the future!
Best customer service, no bs. Amazing inspections, all digital!
I took my new GMC Denali XL in for an alignment after installing new lowering springs at ProTek. The truck was handed back to me and off I went. A couple weeks later I noticed the camber was off at both sides (-1 star). They got me back in and explained how it happened and fixed it. Took some additional work due to all the special bits like auto-ride, and lowering. Good show!
I brought in my car to change to winter tires. Making an appointment was very convenient. I dropped off my car the next day, but when I went to pick it up that evening the car was not yet ready. Staff stayed late to accommodate customers. They clearly explained the reason my pickup was delayed, that they tried all afternoon to source a specific part. The next day everything was fixed and settled easily. Thank you Point S team!
Colten went above and beyond, so far as to drive out to me and to jump start my car when my battery died while on vacation in Portland. Managed to fit me in last minute for an appointment and diagnosised the issue as a dead battery. Couldnt be happier with the quick and flexible service!
The Sandy Blvd Point S Tire & Auto shop is the best shop I’ve been to in Portland. They offer detailed assessments with photos, double and triple check their work, and have never once made me feel like I’m being taken advantage of. I’ve a had a nearly complete suspension rebuild and i feel totally confident that they have done good, honest, and necessary work. They are now the only mechanic shop I will take my car to.
Great response and service. I’ll be recommending Point S to friends.
Theyre always thorough and kind. I really appreciate their good nature!
Sandy Blvd Point S has awesome customer service. Over the summer my son was here visiting and Brett and his team took excellent care of all his car troubles. They made sure he was safe and not driving an unsafe vehicle. Due to that experience I again chose to do business with Brett & his team. They got me a great deal on some sexy tires and got me in and out in record time. They also did a comprehensive check of everything to make sure my truck was good. Thanks again for the great work and excellent customer service!
Amazing service. They fixed an unfixable tire.
Colton was the best. Though there were times where a little bit of upselling went down, Colton was one of the most friendly people I’ve encountered in auto maintenance. He spoke to me like a friend and was very helpful. The labor was quick.
I brought in my car at 1PM as scheduled, for an oil change. I had visited the shop in person the previous day to set the appointment. When I arrived, I was told the car might not be ready for two hours. So I walked down the street--difficult due to my spine condition--and waited at a restaurant. I paid $88 for the oil change, a bit high, but it was synthetic oil, and came with a free multi-point inspection. However, if there was indeed an inspection, I have not been notified of details.I give four stars, though, because everyone was friendly, and professional in demeanor.
This place is great! They went above and beyond to make sure insurance covered all the damage done to my car. They are also super sweet and affordable.
Point S has the best customer service hands down. Im not even from Portland and was currently passing through when I got both passenger flat tires. Richie and Erica gave me the best possible price to get me back on the road to see my daughter for Christmas in California. Im definitely grateful for the job well done
As I arrived at Point S Sandy Blvd I was greeted by Colton who graciously held the door open for me while I juggled getting my kiddos inside (Thanks again!). Once I was in, Arika got me checked in promptly for my Oil Service with vehicle maintenance inspection. Upon completion I was sent a detailed inspection via text message showing any immediate or future recommended service/repair work. It was a pleasant experience as usual. Thank you Point S Sandy Blvd for the family friendly atmosphere. Shout out to J.L. the technician for keeping our family vehicle safe on the road.
I punctured my tire on Sunday and called another shop prior to this one who wasnt able to get me in for a week. I was in and out the same day with one reasonably priced tire and a person who I trusted to tell me whether I needed one tire or two.
Best service in Portland! Took them all of 40 minutes to service my car, and I wasnt the first one in line! Prices so low it seemed like they felt sorry for me or something! They will be getting my business in the future!
Fantastic group of knowledgeable people who deliver great customer service. Very happy with the price and outcome of my purchase.
Very prompt and service oriented. Thanks
The first honest shop I’ve been to in awhile. I took my car in for an oil change (knowing I had a few other things that needed repaired). They called me and told me what else was wrong and it was the exact problems I already knew I had. So they didn’t try to upsell unnecessary maintenance. When I got the car back, the check engine light came on, they took the car back into the shop and really took care of me! I’ll definitely be coming back here!
I took my 2014 Santa Fe sport to Sandy Blvd Point S tire yesterday 5/12/21 for a oil change and brakes.I was greeted by Colten behind the desk and asked how he could be of help. I let him know I has made a 9:00 AM appt for service and would need a ride home as I had my 97 year old father with me. He stated they would have Justin give us a ride home while they got to work on my car.I received prompt updates on how they were coming along on completing the needed service, even including a picture of my car in their service bay along with the mechanics name. Needless to say I was impressed.I told them we would unexpectedly need a return ride to pick up my car. Colton arranged to have the car dropped off at my door. What great customer service they provide on top of that my car is running like new. Many thanks Colten and your team at Sandy Blvd. Point S tire. I will be a repeat customer.Marsha Northrup NE Portland.
Felt fair, they did what they said they would, and were nice about it.
We received the most professional and personable customer service. I highly recommend their services. They went above and beyond to make the service experience a great one.
They identified and fixed an issue that two dealerships overlooked and / or could not find, and in a fraction of the time. All my calls were answered within seconds vs a dealership where I would leave messages and never hear back. I definitely plan to get my car serviced at Point S Sandy Blvd going forward. Very happy.
Not only did they fix what I brought in in for (when promised!), they turned my gear shift knob back right side up (it’s been upside down since I had the clutch replaced elsewhere 5 years ago) for free, without even mentioning it. They’re thorough!
Fair prices, quick service, and excellent staff — I don’t usually write reviews but Richie took the time to really listen and help me figure out what I needed. I highly recommend checking out this location if you are looking for a new shop. I will definitely be coming back to Point S.
I bought a set of tires when this was a Goodyear store 2 years ago. Recently, one of the tires seemed to have a slow leak, so I brought the car in to have the tire checked out. I left and when I came back they told me I needed 4 new tires. I was a little taken aback, the tires are all relatively new ( I dont drive much). I said I wasnt going to buy 4 new tires today. They had done an inspection and had sent an email with a photo of the tire with a big nail in the side wall. The rational was that you cant repair a hole in the side wall. Because it is an all wheel drive, you dont want the tread to be different on one of the tires, so you need 4 new ones. I wasnt about to buy 4 new tires on the spot and told them I would just take the car. They said they didnt think it was drivable. I insisted and they put the tire back on and away I went. The next day, my partner took the tire off and could not find a nail in the side wall at all. He did find a very repairable nail in the running surface. He took it to Double J and they repaired it for $8. As far as I can tell, they put a photo of a different tire in their report. Glad I trusted my gut and got the heck out of there.I am happy to say I can amend this review. I got a call from the shop after posting this insisting that there was a nail in the shoulder area of the tire. We went and checked and yes, in a different tire that wasnt loosing air, there was a nail in the shoulder area. This is the picture they had put in their inspection report. Because the tire with nail in the shoulder area wasnt loosing air, we suspected that it hadnt pierced the tire body, but of course there is only one way to find out. We removed the nail, which proved to be more of a tack or maybe just a nail head, and found no sign of leakage. We tested the site with soapy water and concluded that the tire was not punctured and luckily I still didnt need a new set of tires. Had they said that they tire I came in to get inspected had a nail in it and was repairable, but they also found a different problem with another tire that may or may not be fixable, I would have been fine with that. To simple state you need four new tires seems a bit of a hard sell. In my experience, communication was not their strong. I will credit them with reaching out and that qualifies as good customer service to me.
I appreciated the no-contact pick-up and delivery during these difficult times. I also appreciated that the shop is open for business. When you find a reliable service you want to stick with them.Recently my van had to be towed to the shop. A couple of weeks before I had an oil change, work on the radiator and some miscellaneous stuff done. As I started up a small hill, the engine would rev but the van would not move — rather barely would move. Luckily there was a park very close and I managed to baby the van into an area in the park where a tow truck could maneuver. This was Sunday. The next day I received a call, expecting a large bill as I thought the transmission had gone. Nope. The brand new hose that ran from the radiator to the transmission cooler disintegrated. This was nothing I or the shop could have anticipated. The shop took the entire repair as their responsibility. I was so relieved. I am also very pleased that this shop has the integrity to take responsibility without argument. I will continue to use this shop as well as recommend it.
I am So Thankful for the Service I received at this Location, I was in a extreme flat tire jam, I was able to get truck to the shop and The Team was able to squeeze it in and it ended up being repairable and under warranty! Whew! Back on the Road I was... Again Thank You.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff!! They were honest with me about the repairs needed to my car and provided excellent support during the process. I couldnt wait at the shop and I didnt have a ride set up, so they gave me a ride home from the shop! Superb service!! Richie and Jason were very nice to work with.
Five stars for this staff and service! Richie was such a huge help, going above and beyond to do whatever he could to ensure the mounting needed work on my car was as affordable as possible. Im super appreciative of the work they did and will definitely go back!
They were courteous, professional and speedy with repairing my tire. Excellent service!!
Great experience with Sandy Point S Tire! Super friendly and helpful with all my questions and concerns (and there were a lot). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and skilled shop to take their vehicle. I will definitely be back!
Great service from the folks at Point S on Sandy Blvd. I needed new tires, and their website let me shop and get a quote easily online at my convenience. Their inspection discovered my brakes were worn and needed replacing, which I knew was going to be needed soon anyway. Not only did they text me right away, but also provided photos and measurements of remaining brake pads. The most convenient part was they are open on Saturdays which I really appreciated since I didnt have to take time off from work.
I had a great experience with Point S on Sandy Blvd. My car broke down in the middle of the night and I had AAA tow to their location. They were able to look it over the next day and had my car up and running right away. They called me promptly with updates and valuable info and emailed me with a detailed invoice including pictures of what needed to be repaired. The woman at the reception desk went above and beyond to ensure I was able to get my keys in time for a trip I had to make early the next morning. This is not the first time I’ve taken a car to Point S on Sandy and will definitely not be the last.
I wish there was a 6th star for Colton & the crew over there! I came in for new knobbies & they discovered that both of my front struts were severly cracked...the drivers side was held together by gravity & love from above. The shop worked down to the wire to deliver it the same day only to discover that the SUV rims I had on there werent compatible on that truck W/an agressive AT tire. We went rim shopping & came up with an amazing package! I couldnt be happier!🙌🙌
I am from out of town, Colten was very helpful and ensured I received the best service possible. They provided an inspection and shared images of what other service is needed for my car. Thank you!
All around great service!
Want to thank the lovely woman who stayed late even though i agreed to let her put the key on the tire. Planned to bike over but had a flat, so it took me longer. Timely service and explanation.
Team communicated their findings well and timely so the issues could be addressed the same day. Jason was especially helpful in describing options available for list of services needed, and revisiting some at a later time. I will be back for quality service on my other vehicles.
Im a new customer and very satisfied with the service I recieved. I reccomend Point S for your new tires.
Was essentailly tricked into paying for an inspection when i thought work was actually being done. Got an oil change for 37$ and my battery terminals got tightened. Then 2 inspections for 75 an 180 at the end i paid over 300 for tighter battery clamps an an oil change. I wish shops would realize shafting people for inspections isnt the only way to make money. They also told me i need to replace my entire lineup of coils (1500$) that i had replaced 4 months ago even though the car isnt having coil issues they also told me that after replacing the coils the check engine light could still be on an that they would need to do another inspection aka(180 again) to make sure it was fine.In total my experience leaves me in a really depressed mood and makes me not want to trust mechanics anymore. I will not be coming back unless they give me a refund on the unessary inspection. I will update this reveiw if it happens. But its i doubt they will as places that do this usually argue they have everyright to fool customers an make easy money on poor drivers. As a sales person you should always make sure your customer knows EXACTLY what they are paying for so they can rightfully decline a purchase they shouldnt make.
Excellent and courteous service. Extremely clean store! Will definitely return if the need arises.
I had a great experience at Point .S off sandy Blvd in Portland. Everyone was very kind and professional. Richard explained everything and went the extra mile to answer all my questions. Colton also did a fantastic job taking care of my vehicle and was very warm and inviting. Id recommend anyone to these guys!
Wonderful costner service, wonderful communication skills & great service to my vehicle.Thank you Team for fixing my suburban!
Always appreciate staff at Point S: helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I also really like the digital inspection reports they provide. The reports are a great starting point and reference for conversations with staff about maintenance decisions. What important to me is a trustworthy shop and you can find that at Point S. Ive been going there about 3 years.
I was so impressed with the customer service. Point S is in my neighborhood with many spots to get food and walk around while waiting for your car to be serviced. I highly recommend them!!!
Ive been taking my cars here for about 5 years. During that time Ive been 100 % satisfied. When it comes to tires Brett knows every thing about what will give you the best bang for your buck. I had always taken my cars to the dealer, and couldnt figure out why they always tried to sell me extras. So I asked, they were all on commission, so the more they added on, the more money they pocketed. Havent been back and will continue to use Sandy Blvd Goodyear Tire and Auto.
Point S on Sandy Boulevard did a wonderful job with my Subaru Outback. They were able to patch my tire instead of selling my four new ones, and were super friendly! Highly recommend.
I am a difficult customer when it comes to satisfaction guaranteed. The manager Bret and staff at POINT S tire and auto service company at the sandy location have done an outstanding job with the service they have provided me. I came in looking for a good and reliable tire with much tread, I was helped with good service and was seen the same day with no appointment. Though the tire was not to my liking the day after, staff and managers molded my purchase into an offer that was excellent. While compensating for time and even offering me a ride to work, both managers Bret and Jason handled my specific situation with care and dignity. Everyone at POINT S went above and beyond to ensure great business, and with great attitudes as well.I commend both managers Bret and Jason along with staff for impeccable service. Customer service is a very hard job when dealing with difficult customers. I would recommend you stop by the sandy location for a tire or four the next time you want great service. The team at POINT S upholds their unmatched reputation and service and can also rectify any situation.I extend my gratitude and vouch for the branch. Thank you everyone at POINT S sandy.
Top notch work and great customer service, for 10 years and 1 name change. Never any excuse why they can’t get you in for service or why it’s not ready. Even have stayed past closing time for a pick up. Always my go to for auto service.
They did a good job with my snow tires, Really pleased with my Nokian R3s
Solid work. When I brought in my car to fix the busted A/C, they took a look around and helped me understand what repairs my 18-year-old car crucially needed (A/C during a 100-degree summer) and what other old-age updates were “nice to haves” but could be delayed until a later time. I appreciated the mechanic’s honesty and that they weren’t just looking to sell to me.
I had a terrible experience where my tires were slashed. Erica helped me and made the whole experience so much better. My vehicle ended up needing quite a few additional repairs. They did all the repairs and my vehicle is now happy :) Erica was super awesome and helpful. She deserves a raise $$$
I had to buy a new tire to replace my almost new one that had a mysterious cut in the tread. They were nice enough. I didnt get a call when my car was ready as I was waiting i just had to go check . They also told me they would put my spare back up and they didnt follow through with that. Overall a regular experience no one went above and beyond.
Sandy Blvd Tire and Auto aligned my Porsche Cayman autocross car perfectly to the specs I needed! Awesome job and the car handles like its on rails now! Thanks!!Edit: I came back again in February, this time with my AMG, got 4 new tires and was in and out quickly and at a great price! Thanks Sandy Blvd Tire and Auto!
The customer service at this shop is great, along with the overall shop service. If I was to give it any strikes it would be the lack of parking and horrible intersection its located on, but that has nothing to do with the actual service!
I just had the most amazing experience at the Point S Tire & Auto on Sandy Blvd. The bulb went out on one of my headlights and they replaced it right there on the spot while I was waiting. It took about 15 minutes and I was off on my trip to Astoria. These people are truly customer oriented and I will be taking my car back to them for my tires and auto repairs in the future.
Brought my wrangler in to troubleshoot a rear end noise. Ericka and her team worked diligently to help find the culprit. She’s as quiet as a Jeep can be now! Thanks!
Friendly and timely service (especially Arika) at this location. The job was performed correctly, and additional safety services were recommended. A helpful coupon was also applied so I saved $50! I am grateful for the auto care I received - thank you!
Highly recommend, these folks are nice and thorough. Ordered some A/T tires for me and had them on the next day.
BEST OF ALL WORLDS - TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE
They did a good job replacing the engine on my accord. Drove to Tigard to get a key from me which was much appreciated
My service with them started out ok-tires, all good and a fair price. But then before a long road trip I spent a significant amount replacing basic parts and just having overall service to ensure reliability on the trip. Well, twice we were stuck and delayed when my vehicle didnt start. Once in middle of nowhere. The second person to help us saw a problem with dirt and buildup that kept a certain connection from happening. Turned out just cleaning it right there worked. But, since I spent nearly $1000 making it garunteed road worthy I took it back to Point S. I certainly get that my vehicle is older and anything could happen- but the fact that it was just this connection issue and somebody just removed the build-up and debris makes me it seem like it would have been a basic thing that would have been looked at in readying for the trip. I took it back to Point S to have them go over/look at the problem- to clean it well and make sure thats what it really was. Spoke about it, in detail, on the phone and at drop off. I explained what happened on the road trip. While there I wanted an oil change too.Close to three hours after bringing my car in it was declared done. They did the oil change only-saying that the connection issue was an anomaly. Didnt sound like they even checked it. So-basically I waited nearly 3 hours for just an oil change and window washer fluid re-fill. Could have went close to home to Jiffy Lube for same and way less time. And after I left the change oil light stayed on! I first thought that driving it would make it go off. Nope. A call to them-they want me to come back in and will turn it off. More time. Also- one other thought- its not so good when an employee of your company shares with the customer that the place is run chaotically and inconsistent. I still went there after hearing that-but wont now.
Classic auto shop RIP off practices, charging for full inspection($76) for vehicle when only wanted estimate for back brakes job, Les Schaub ($650) Point S Brakes ($1,670). Got brakes done Les Schaub with 25,000 mile 2 year warranty! Very Glad I Did. Tom J Brown
I think you need to work on managing your customers expectations. When you make an appointment, point out what you believe needs to be fixed (brakes), my expectation would be the work would be done after having the car for nearly 6 hours. Instead I have an estimate of several other things that need to be fixed and nothing done in the vehicle. Perhaps you should Communicate this better. I would expect this maybe if I didn’t make an appointment. I ended up leaving with a $70 inspection fee and nothing done to the vehicle. I guess it’s a lesson learned
I flew back into town to discover a flat. I thought I’d have to buy a whole new tire- which everyone I spoke to on the phone was so patient and helpful in ordering the right one and communicating when to bring the car in and everything! In the end they were able to repair my tire, which was amazing in itself, but more so they were so welcoming and informative and overall had some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! Thank you!!
The repairs were out of my price range, then the manager offered to buy my truck for $100. I was insulted by that. I felt they were trying to take advantageof my situation.Update:. Im still not clear about why they offered me $100 for my truck, but they did do a lot to make it right. My truck appears to be running fine and Im satisfied with the outcome. I wouldnt go back though.
I called a few minutes before arriving and let them now about a headlight issue. Pat said I could drop by and he would check it out. When I got there, Pat promptly looked at my car and helped change the headlight bulbs. Within 15 minutes my cars’ lights were working like new. Overall, the service was great and I would recommend this auto shop. Thanks
Dropped in with a slow tire leak, they took me in with minimal waiting and fixed it.Friendly service, nice people.
Great experience from start to finish. Instead of a grumpy message, a real person answered the phone and reassured me theyd be able to take care of my problem. They did a great job with my service, I was kept informed of the progress, and I was able to pick up my car sooner than expected. When Covid restrictions are lifted, people will also be able to wait in a pleasant waiting area again.
The staff was super friendly and able to replace my popped tire very quickly and at a very reasonable price!
I brought my car (2002 Tahoe) into this shop for some much needed repairs and was not disappointed. Jason Faust was fantastic in talking with me about what needs to be done vs what could wait a little longer. They give you a detailed print out of the inspection and take the time to go over everything with you. Not at all pushy and the entire staff was very friendly. After my car was done it felt like it was brand new! I was so happy with the results and service.
Been going to these guys for years. got my 2006 Kia Sportage up and back from Alaska with no problems/issues.. pictures are taken of every part during safety inspection so that customer can verify service needed and/or recommended. peace of mind and trust worth the cost.
Fantastic!! Excellent service and friendliness at Point-S 4547 NE Sandy Blvd!! I got a multi-puncture flat on the freeway as I approached the Hollywood district. Was able to make it to S-point before the tire went completely flat. Patrick put on the spare for me without delay, even though they were very busy, with no charge! And just straightforward reliable information about my options for new tires - no sales pitch or one-time-deal. Thank you!!
I called in to get a price quote and they were immensely helpful. The woman who picked up the phone was very polite and helpful, and took the time to answer all of my questions (even the ones I should already know the answer to). Im looking forward to scheduling my appointment and taking my vehicle in.
I scheduled an appointment four days ago to PATCH A LEAK on a tire and an OIL CHANGE for today at 2pm. When I asked how long it would take, the younger dude at the counter, not Jason(?), said it would be two hours. I gave them the benefit of the doubt of exaggerating the time, and stayed in the area and saw my car in the lot an hour 1/2 later so I went in. I was told that my car was next and they’d look at it. What? What’s the point of SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT FOUR DAYS IN ADVANCE AT TWO O’CLOCK IF THEYRE NOT GOING TO LOOK AT MY CAR UNTIL AFTER 3:30 FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND A TIRE PATCH?They obviously don’t care about your business, they count on you waiting on them for their convenience when they mess up your appointment.“We’ll be happy to re-schedule you free of charge” - Jason.as I’m walking out the door. That’s the type of service you should expect from this place.
It is always a breath of fresh air when you go to get your car repaired and you walk out without any issues, satisfied with the service, and glad you chose the place you did. I had a squealing alternator belt which was getting downright embarrassing. Point S and their technicians not only fixed the issue, but also did a very thorough analysis of the vehicle free of charge complete with pictures, and not just generic ones, but of my actual vehicle! Definitely impressed and happy with the service. Thanks Point S for setting a higher standard for auto repair!
Point S always gives you honest pricing and wait times! I went to Les Schwab twice with an appointment and still waited 3+ hours still without being helped (even with an appointment!) Point S took me in right away and was able to get new tires on my car with less than a half hour wait to get in. SUPER awesome staff and comfortable waiting room. This location is also by Whole Foods so if you do have to wait, go grab a coffee and stay out of the rain there. Thanks guys!
Sandy Blvd Tire & Auto fixed my punctured tire. I had a brand new set of wheels from Subaru (Yokohama tires) and the first week there was a slow leak. I wouldnt have noticed but the car monitors the pressure. I made an appointment for the same day online at their website. I checked in and Jason F. had it fixed and ready to go within a half an hour! Plus, get this... THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME A DIME. The reception and lobby area is a welcoming place to sit with floor to ceiling windows. Ill be back for snow tires later this year. Thank you!
