If I am ever in the area and in need of car maintenance I’ll be going back to these folks. I walked in with my car having an issue, unable to get me home, 2 hours away from home, and these guys were booked out a whole week, but asked me what was happening. When I explained I was told to grab my car so they can check to see whats going on, they found the issue and even though I didn’t have an appointment they were able to fit me in to help me get home. Of course always make an appointment and wait your turn, but these guys were super professional, helpful, fast, and helped me out of a really really hard situation when they didn’t have too. Everything about this awful experience was made better when I walked in this garage, I cannot recommend enough.

Made a same-day reservation to patch a tire with a nail in it. Dropped it off in the morning, picked it up in the afternoon. Great price. Nice guy.

I went here this weekend (Saturday) to get an oil change. On the fly I asked if they could also replace my back windshield wiper and fill up my tires because they were a little low. I left my car in their care and came back about two hours later--they text you when youre ready. I thought they did a great job and will try going here again for any future matter! I was also really happy they could get me in on a Saturday. Everywhere else was booked for the weekends which is hard when you work.

The fellas working in this garage were knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous! I appreciated their insight and ended up signing up for their monthly membership. Very glad I decided to get my oil change, check up, & DEQ test through them.

I came into the shop to get quotes on some leaks on my van, told the guy it was coming from the water pump, told him my tie rods and idler arms were going bad. Basically that I needed to get it road worthy to drive 2k miles because of a family emergency. They looked at my van for 20 minutes and charged me 80$ to tell me what I already told them, and over quoted me on every single diagnostic. Idler arms take 20 minutes to replace, and each one is 30-50$, I know because I swapped them out 4 years ago myself. And I told him I had before, the labor quote was 300$. The parts 120$. He told me his mechanics make 150$ an hour. 2 hours to swap 2 idler arms, for 4 bolts and 2 nuts. Not even gonna get into the other quotes because they’re all as steep as the first example. Eric who runs the shop seems nice, but is a shark. Save yourself the time and money and go anywhere but here. Also if you’re high risk, go somewhere else because these guys are walking around the shop interacting without masks on until someone enters the shop.Response: Good on you for paying your people and doing right by them, doesn’t change that the quote is ridiculous/not accurate, not even close and doesn’t do the customer right. As someone with long haulers, and is high risk, it’s embarrassing that you blatantly lie about the state of “precautions” your shop is taking. I was just there. Be good.

Kyle helped me out so much at Green Drop. I liked the clear way he communicated, how efficient he was, and how thoughtfully he fixed my car! Highly recommend.

These guys are amazing!! I was driving around town with the loudest, craziest noise coming out of my car. I was in a hurry and popped into their shop. They helped me get the rock stuck under my car out in under 15 minutes and even changed a brake light! The two guys were so nice and helpful. Thank You Green Drop Garage.

This is apparently a new additional location for the Green Drop team which is really convenient for us due to being close to work. Big bonus for being next to Fred Meyer too because we were able to get some shopping done while waiting.Shop is super clean and friendly staff! What I love about these guys is their entire concept ... keep things green (environmentally friendly). Totally Portland ... Kombucha, Friendly smiles, Helpful and just all around cool.If you are still looking for that shop that is honest with your money, give these guys a shot!

Great mechanic. Ive had trouble finding a quality mechanic that isnt in a wildly inconvenient location. Green Drop checked all the boxes - fast, honest, and reasonably priced. Will be coming here regularly.

If you are looking for honest, friendly mechanics this is the shop for you. I went in and got an oil change and found out about their membership they offer. What a great service, takes all the worry away. I was able to walk around and do shopping while I wait. Its in a great location. Very clean shop. I would recommend them. I will definitely have them take care of all my car needs.

Ive decided to enroll in their monthly basic service plan, and Im glad Ive given them my business. I had left my lights on and had a dead battery. My jumper cables were not long enough for my new car, and Joe took time off of his day and drove me back to my car to give me a jump. They got me to work on time, and were super positive and not demeaning about the whole experience and did this free of charge for being a member.

Excellent service and a very convenient location. They didnt try to upsell anything. The mechanic did a great job informing me. My car is now running smooth. Thanks guys! Ill be back.

Ive been a member of the oil change service for a little over a year and it has been worth every penny. This location is convenient for my work commute, but have had similar experiences at two of the other locations.I have a 2002 VW which has needed its fair share of maintenance recently. I cant speak highly enough of the staff, especially Eric and Joe at Uptown. They helped me prioritize maintenance needs and were thorough in explaining problems, symptoms, and creative ways to fix mission critical pieces. I feel confident that my car will not only get me where I need to go, but have also felt drastic improvements in performance.I highly recommend Green Drop Garage, especially this location and the people that work here. Friendly and courteous service. Great location across the street from Stadium Fred Meyers. Clean and well lit work area and open waiting area where you can watch your car being repaired. First time there and I think I will become a regular.

I have had the GreenDrop Membership for about a year now and I am more that pleased. The reminders make staying on top of your car maintenance a breeze. The website istreamlines appointments with your desired time and offers several locations around the Portland metro area to chose from. I’ve been to three, and they all have the same top notch service. The owner cares about his customers and his employees. I was happy to learn that he makes sure they make a living wage, while also maintaining competitive prices for customers. I will continue my membership for the foreseeable future. I recommend everyone come to Green Drop for service and any repairs you may need. Fantastic people!
