Liked the food. Was tasty and the service. Will recommend. Good place for family eating.

I am a regular customer of texas king ( Irving )On this plano location the service was dull and the chef needs to be replaced. I asked for the sauce (Raita), it came in 1 tiny portion for 3 adults after asking again for more i was told to be charged for it. The Irving location never does that. The goat curry was lame compared to irving. The bbq items were only fresh but the portions were for kids basically. Mr Khawar of Irving location is best with his chef and crew.

The food here is pretty tasty. Its nice to go get some south Asian food that isnt straight Indian. There is a lot of overlap between North Indian and Pakistani cuisine, but this place is like 90% Pakistani orientated dishes so its a good change of pace. The only issue is it seems that portion sizes are kind of small, and service is in incredibly slow. Normally I dont care about service, especially in a smaller family Run place, but it doesnt matter if you are in the only person in the store, or if its packed. Expect a long wait. Its kind of a trade off. If portion sizes were a bit bigger and it was slow, I can live with that. If you are speedy and give me smaller portions. Great. But both of those things make to hard to rate it higher then a 3 star. Food is tasty, but not wait 45 minutes for 2 plates tasty.

The service is very worst. The lady who takes order is rude, they dont serve as promised they say they have kebabs and take order and when we go to pick up they say they dont have it after confirming the order and paying for order, they never serve as promised. Would not recommend to any one

Very good kabobs. Dont dare to try pulavs and Biryani. We tried pulav and it is getting bad smell.

Worst service, always have to wait for your order and when we go for pickup they cancel the order without informing you. As soon as we walked inside the place was dirty flies everywhere, floor was very sticky.0 star no recommendation

Had halwa puri cholay, beef bihari kabob, and chicken biryani. Halwa puri also came with aloo, the aloo were delicious, but the cholay were okay. halwa was yummy and could have used some almonds. The Bihari and biryani were yummy as well. Service wasn’t bad. This was my first time and I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews I read online. However, it’s not as bad as the ratings. The portions are not small for the price. Will go back for Bihari kabob and biryani. The mango lassi was delicious too.

Texas King never disappoints! I always cater my parties here and everyone loves the food! There is no better place than Texas King for flavorful, tasty desi food. Adil always helps me cater my parties and makes sure everything is perfect! I will never switch from this restaurant, It is my go-to party destination!

Serving sizes are tiny, but prices are very low.I ordered the chicken tikka and got a singular piece of chicken but granted it was only $2.99. Nihari is one of their more expensive items but its pretty good, I enjoyed it at $7.99. Dum Biryani was OK serving size for $5.99 and it tasted fine not very special could use a bit more chicken. Compared to other places the prices are considerably cheaper, none of the food has a bad taste its average if anything and sometimes exceptional. Decent experience, will probably eat here again.

Grocery store man ihas no manners and respect towards customer....seriously mannerless....I experienced several times same bad guy always I think of complaining about it to food corporation department or consumer department...but as business has helped communities get halal food so never did that....but .....they should learn respecting customers

Chicken biriyani was OK for the price $1.99.Brain Masala and Hakeem quite good 👍.Avoid the beef sheekh kebab - bland and did not taste fresh at all.

Tasteless biryani. Who ever is coming in the resturant just entering into kitchen without washing hands or sanitizing. Their whole family is working in kitchen even kids are working too. There is nothing like standard. Please Dont waste money on this dumb restaurant.

Amazing bihari kabab and Punjabi chicken. Both of them melt in your mouth. I am not a paya eater but ordered it because it was recommended by the owner. Did not disappoint. Very tender meat and delicious gravy. This place is a great value for your money and amazing service. Naan was freshly baked that added to the experience.We come to Dallas every year from NC and always stop here to eat.

First, I used to normally go to the Irving location to get my Biryanis and Punjabi Tikka,. When we moved to McKinney, we decided to give this a shot and as soon as i walked in that place was completely dead. I ordered two items to go and it was salty and it didnt had the spice combination not mixed up to balance the flavor. The order took too long and we didnt enjoyed food from here at all.

Looks like the grocery store is going out of business! Hardly any item in the store!

Friendly staff, good food, reasonable price

Food is okay, so is ambience. Some of the days I’ve been their at the restaurant, the food was great and the rest of the times it wasn’t as expected. There is a separate small banquet hall adjacent to the restaurant for small parties.

Ordered 3 orders of chicken tikka last week and all of the chicken was raw!!! We called to tell them and they said no money back or exchange. Will NEVER order food here again. Go somewhere else if you don’t want to get sick.

Went at lunch time. Ordered the non veg thali. The chicken was cold when you took a bite. Seemed like it was mucrowaved. Service was decent and the place was clean.

Don’t get meat from there. Last week I picked up two packs of chicken which appeared to be salmonella infected smelled like raw eggs. I contacted them and they were helpful but when i said I wasn’t looking to refund but i want to know what action they are taking to fix the contamination they didn’t respond back. I liked this place but I can’t even risk eating at their restaurant now .

I was expecting really good Pakistani cuisine but wasnt impressed. They had the usual items and not a lot. The chicken karahi was good but not great. Lahori naan (or phulka) was great. I loved it.The restaurant ambience is average. Service was good.

I call in the evening to place my order, they said 15 minutes before u can call we will ready your order, when i call they said it will one hours when i remind them u told on the evening then said ok u will get in half an hour, but i got after one hour.

Every time picking up a take out, you are made to wait at the restaurantgoat pilaf, the meat is very very dry. vegetarian is ok

Amazing amazing Ramadan iftaar. Last night they had suhoor buffet at the crack of dawn, with screening of the India Pakistan match. It was awesome. The food is delicious always and the proprietor Adeel is a really great guy.

Buffet was below par. They made us wait 10mins before giving us a clean table and chairs. Restaurant was almost empty when we entered. Had to ask multiple times to refill the buffet.
