Outright cheating. The frozen Rohu fish I bought from there has more ice than flesh :(Look at the images and you find that there is more ice than flesh in each piece. Its clear that water was filled intentionally and frozen to increase the weight. Since the fish is wrapped in a plastic bag (sealed) there is no way to check beforehand.Shame on you!
Nice and Helpful staff. Courteous and always friendly. Nice clean store with plenty of selection
In pakora they put black plastic piece. This reported to Texas Health DepartmentAnd Better business for investigationFood was very bad. Owner have bad behavior with customer. Never go to Plano indo parkDo not buy food and expired groceries
Had a decent selection but had no meats which was the reason I went.
A Bangladeshi-Indian restaurant. You will get all the deshi items here. Compared to the other Indian groceries some items are overpriced though. Sometimes they don’t provide the price tag level on the grocery or other items to make customers confused. I buy meat from this store on a regular basis. Once I got stale chicken drumsticks from them. Although they politely took the item returned, I think they should be more careful about the maintenance.
Good deshi grocery store with decent collection of Bangladeshi fish.
Nice place to get your desi stuff and also to get your desi grub.P.S They do have a food court!!Staff : Friendly and helpful ( mostly)Collection: Nice variety for Bangladeshi related items and also art works and art pieces.Food court : Good food at great price and good service. Some times orders get over charged and the staff ensure to check your order before pickup, so make sure you do that.
Their food court has some of the best biriyani and Desai snacks in the area. Very clean and hygienic food. We always order take out from here. Well stocked meat section that is fresh and high quality.
Been awhile since I was last in the store. They have rearranged the store and it sure makes it much easier to find things. Great Chance! I primarily purchase dates, beans and spices when I go here.
Great store with everything I need for the curries I like to make. Very wide selection and everyone is always friendly.
I just recently moved to Frisco and was recommended to buy chicken from here. I bought the chicken on Saturday and on Sunday when I went to take the chicken out, it was all rotten. I called to ask if they would refund me or give me credit back and the manager refused. I told him I just moved here and it was my first time shopping at his store. He kept “guaranteeing” the chicken but refused to listen that my meat was bad. I would not recommend buying meat from here.
I visit this place only when I need something urgently for the products are always priced higher when compared to other stores...and most of tge veggies in the produce section are almost dead or nearing to be...Ofcourse, a good place to get halal groceries
Anything and everything related to Bangladeshi cuisine and their preparation, which is available in North America, chances are you will find it in this store. From imported specialty rice, spices, frozen fish, kebabs, sweets to fresh produce and cut to order fresh meat and the occasional oddball cookware and utensils, this store has it all!
Good store overall especially for halal choices. The attached restaurant (Indo Pak Cafe) is a hidden gem....
The definition of horrible customer service is defined by this store. Omar & the owner are owner are decent but one of managers is extremely rude. Stay away from this place if you can….
Some times service is very challenging especially restaurant inside but over all good.
Goat baryani is good but need more pakistani stuff
Be aware of this place. Sold me rotten goat. Will not be shopping here.
This Indo pak is different compared to the one in Richardson Texas. Not so organized, neither hygienic as well. It literally stinks inside the store, which was the very horrible experience. Common, management, which world you are living in. Things can not be taken for granted to this extent. We have tooooo many grocery stores in the metroplex, one needs to be competent and presentable to hit the business. I mean there are short comings in stores but we see the major things over minor to qualify to be a regular /reliable store. More specifically when the nature has taught a hygiene lesson to the whole world. Please wake up to this and make sure hygiene is maintained as a basic mundane thing. Good luck - will try to visit again in about a month to see positive results.
Literally shocked. Been shopping here for years and my mom always goes there. They need to train their cafe lady who answers the calls that being rude and disrespectful won’t work for long in the business industry. There will be other places that we will move onto. I ordered food today and the lady on the phone was so rude it’s like she was talking to an animal.
If you say you are open till 10 pm, technically people are allowed to come in anytime before 10 pm, unless specified otherwise. If someone needs 1-2 urgent items, it literally takes 2 minutes to grab them. So, please change you store closing time from 10 pm to 9:45-9:50 pm if you dont let people enter after that. It will save people from the hassle of going to your store. Please work on your customer service.
Bought chicken twice that rotted in a day. They are doing something wrong in storing meat. I will never buy meat here again.
Name has indo in it but pakistan zindabad.
Good variety of indian groceries, cafeteria is plus but little expensive
We enjoy both the grocery selection and food from the cafe and eat here often. Great selection at a very reasonable price. The food is decent for a grocery store cafe.
Expired products, veges are not fresh. High price. Purchased 2 bags naans w fungus, when I complained they asked me to bring the product bag….so their expectation was for me to save the bag of naan s fungus and use gas/mileage to take it back to store!! Absurd!
I am not sure who they hire on staff but I always leave this place disappointed due to their horrendous staff and lack of customer service. This place only stays open because of the groceries otherwise they’d shut down because of their employees! It doesn’t even deserve a single star sadlyGo to royal meats for your halal meatsThey know how to do customer service and serve quality meat!
Great Indian-Pakistani grocery!! Always come here for the best meat!! Has a great variety of everything. The store could probably work on their cleanliness and is a little unorganized.
Bought Beef biryani and chicken samusa last night from the café. Food poisoning started after mid night. Just called them about that, they said they didnt received any complain like that. I asked her name, she was skeptical and said I dont work for the cafe. I am not going there again.
I like the environment. Its so peaceful. Enough room to shop around.
Most things you can expect to find in an south asian market.
Price Gauging... someone needs to complain about this place. For 3 years now I have noticed significant difference between their prices for spices, daals and other grocery items. A packet of cardamom powder was priced at 15.99. At other desi store it was 4.99. Stay away if you do not want to be taken advantage of yourself. I bought the big desi yoghurt at 7.99 which according to the cashier herself, is cheaper at other stores for $6.99. Shame on Indopak for price gauging in the month of Ramadan. People including myself have complained many times to their management about these corrupt price tactics but they have not taken care of this for as long as I have shopped at this place. Eggroll sheets were 5.99 which can be found at oriental stores and walmart for 2.59. They are ripping people off. I request everyone to boycott this store so they can learn their lesson.
Stale meats and food. Dishonest and please pay attention to your receipts.Do not go here.
Ordered a dozen of chicken patties and a dozen of samosas and they nice packed the burned patties and gave it to us. Called to complaint and the lady was as if she is deaf.Typical dishonest Desi place. If you must visit, check everything before you leave. They dont give a rats rump about customer service.
Organized groceries, reasonable halal meat price, few items in sale. A good place for South Asian food items and halal meat. And yes, a good collection of varieties of fish.
Good store, its got a wide variety of indo-pak food items and grocery items. It has also a small restaurant in it that most people only use for take outs. The food here is pretty decent and at a very economical price.
Good for halal food
Occasion: went to buy some fresh groceries and south Asian productsPros:Polite staffFantastic range of productsFresh fruit and vegAwesome selection of spicesVery community orientatedCons:Very busyFood heavily focused on bengali products over other subcontinent countriesFood utensils are more expensive than other stores.Bottom line: loved it And will go back on the future
Real bangali supermarket. Its really surprising for me coz the bangladeshi popular sweet.also good Price . lovely for me coz i feel country vibe .
There is alot of miss management. Worker including Manager/Owner doesnt know how to talk with customers.
I wish they were open later than they are. Other than that they are great.
Pretty good store & has a small cafeteria offering BIRYANI FOR $5.40. Also, its huge where you will find most of the desi products
Good and cheap biriyani.
A south asian grocery shop of Bangladeshi origin. Great place to buy bengali/Bangladeshi products in Frisco Plano area. Especially variety of fresh and salt water fish from that part of the world. They also have rice, jaggery, ghee, veggies, sweets and many other native Bangladeshi products.this place has a very weird smell, may be coz of frozen fish, meat etc. Not recommended for indian grocery items. Go there for fish.
Personally I like Indopak Supermarket and periodically shop from Richardson Indopak. Last week I came here, bought Kulcha Naan, and they spoiled within one day, indicating green fungus circles. I couldnt come to store, this week I came and mentioned them this product do not have manufacturing or Best Before date so it is hard to make sure about the quality. They said bring thad bread and receipts to return.... Who will be conscious to keep grocery receipts? Well.....Few of there foods need to have manufacturing and BB dates label. Also many of the products dont have price labels on them.I wont recommend this store
It happened with me few times, some of the groceries they sell are Expired and very Old Stock. Be careful when you shop over here.
Friendly owners. Prices on some items are very high compared to others. Now their cafe is also high on prices. Biryani quantity is less and price has increased which does not make sense too me.
Good stock of bangladeshi fish. But they dont cut the fish after 7:30PM. Hope they post it somewhere on the store details.
The store was clean and the staff was attentive to the customers. Grocery items were easy to find and fairly priced. On my checkout there were plenty of cashiers.
Good customer service
Could be a little more cleaner and some of the items are a bit overpriced, but overall has a greay selection of groceries and produce.
A nice place for groceries and sipping a cup of hot tea.
Muslim Islam india Indians pakistan
One of the best place for Bangladeshi grocery. Price is little bit higher but quality of products is satisfactory. Especially, I like the friendly staffs.
Great place to buy groceries from Indo-Pak subcontinent. Thay have good snack bar. Employees are helpful. Wish they had larger and better inventory selection.
I come here for chicken briyani rice and the taste so close to the one I missed when I live in Singapore. Love their chicken patties with green sauce and dont forget to try their chai tea.
Good source for Bangladeshi grocery. Little pricey.
You get most halal food stuff from here how ever there are cheaper places around. The meat and chicken quality is good.
Much cleaner then other indian grocery stores. Grocery is fresh and spices are free of bugs.
I niy meat from them always have found it fresh and great service
The butcher judged my mother for buying a fish which was expense. My mom is a hotel owner so yes she is well off and can pay for some things. She also lost her father recently so dont be judgemental if you want a long career in customer service.
Good spot to get Indo Pak groceries,
Great food
Well maintained place.
Whenever you are working in a customer service, it is very important to know your inventory. This is my third experience with them, i called in and asked for a bangladeshi item to check if they have it in stock I called in twice just to make sure this information is correct. Both the times, the girl told me they have the biscuit in stock. I drove 18 minutes from Richardson and resulted in a disappointment. Same thing happened for the third time and this is ridiculous.
I was a regular customer at IndoPak. But the way they treated me today is really disappointing. I bought a pressure cooker from them, which costs $54.99, came home, opened it and found there is only the body with no lead and other accessories. Immediately I took it back to IndoPak. But they denied any accountability. I showed them the receipt. They told its an ELECTRONIC item and they have no responsibility after selling. I feel extremely cheated. So guys, if u buy anything from that shop, personally weigh it, or count it or check it. There is every chance they will cheat you !!I have lodged a consumer complaint with Attorney General of Texas . Lets see what happens
Nice place, easy access, clean and spacious store where you can get all the desi grocery items.
Well stocked. Sometimes there is a lack of organization and cleanliness.
Excellent shopping experience to get Great Bangladeshi food tasteAsian Taste & Halal food
Need some business development due to price matching and vegetables section.
Bought a box of shahi supari with wrong ingredients written on it when asked to return it owner said that it’s not her problem and refused to return
Nice place for groceries, except for meat, not much selection of vegetables
I have been a customer of Carrollton Indo-Pak in the past, so tried this one as I was driving by East Plano. They have everything a non vegetarian South Asian would want. Pretty decent, but again, its catering to a Desi crowd!
THIEVES! No prices on items. They charge whatever they want. Same products scanned twice showed up two different prices. This happened on three different occasions. I will not be returning to this SCAM of a place! Compare their products with Patel and India Bazaar and you will see how much money they are stealing! Stay away!!!!
This review is for the cafe. The appetizers are good but entrees are not worth the price.
Its a nice market. You get a good variety of Desi stuff here at reasonable rates. The cafe makes good food.
Very expensive vegatable compare to other indian shop.
They have the worst customer service. I had called (around 4 pm) on 8/3/20 to make sure my Qurbani meat is available or not and the lady who picked up said it is available. I went there to pick it up within 30 mins and they said the meat section is already closed. They did not even tell me that they will be closing the section early. And after asking the store associate if they could just go to the cooler and match my receipt id with the box, they just flat out said no. The store associates are tremendously lazy, they cannot just read the id off a receipt and pick a box with my id and name on it. I would advise people to not go there until they fix their customer service.
Expensive, u found everything atkeast 10 percent more than other groceries stores
Awesome customer service. I love greeting from Donna apa, mind blowing!!!
This is good indian grocery market. This shop is managed by people with good connections and culture understanding of Bangladesh. This shop is a good place for sweet water / pond fish. Other fish also available. All are frozen and from Bangladesh. They provide fish cleaning and make pieces . If you want India style cut, just say ‘Bangla cut’- all butchers understand what type you want. Baby goat and goat meats are also available and and are really good. Butcher counter open till mostly 8:00pm. Prices are reasonable or slightly higher side. Small size packets are available. They too have restaurant inside the shop.
I bought Halal ground beef from this market several times. And what I noticed was that center part of the meat are not fresh meat (brown in color) instead of red! And rest is covered in fresh meat! After noticing that I stopped going to this store. And the workers here don’t say hi to you or even smile.
They have a diner in the store that has really good food.
Great place for Asian grocery. There cafe has great authentic food.
This place is dirty and full of smell, the restaurant is awful. If you would like to have a bad and horrible day, must visit this place.
Great place for grocery and meat, produce shopping. There is a canteen inside with great Indian-Pakistani menu and service is awesome. All Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistan local products available. Halal foods and Islamic items available. Paan Supari available for those who need it most. Big parking lot with handicap accessible parking and restrooms inside.
Food was not fresh. Found a roach on the counter by the tea container. The quality of their food has deteriorated over the years. Management has to do a better job in keeping the place clean and tidy and provide fresh cooked food.
Meat section is an addition to a really comprehensive indian super market as well.
You can get anything Pakistani / Bengali there . The meat section is not as good as Oasis international . The cafe food is decent
Fresh meat and fresh groceries.
I am not a fan of anything chicken. But I would eat Popeyes Chicken every day. They are, hands down, the best friend chicken chain there is. And Ive never found better red beans and rice than at Popeyes.
Prices too high and worst customer service . the little kid cashier at store was completely rude and throwing stuff instead of packing . Been there saturday 18th July . they need to hire professional people instead of kids with auttide.
Desi food of all sorts are available here but the price is little higher then usual. Things are a bit unclean. I wish the place was more organized.
Food served in its cafe is dirty and very unhealthy. If you want to live up to average life expectancy, stay away from its oily food. I complained to the owner about the food that I ordered and found out that the owner is very RUDE to take my comments
I am going to make my comment simple and easy, I bought a meet on Sunday evening around 7:00 PM, when I went home opened the pack smelled really bad, 3 days later I went back with the receipt and picture of the meet in trash to get my money back they wouldn’t refund my money There excuse was why didn’t come back in same day I tried to explain to them I live about 45 minutes away by the time I go back will be closed I talked what they call a manager which doesn’t know what management is or doesn’t know what customer service means, any way was last time I go there, and I don’t recommend this place at all to any one .
The reception is very good.Love the place and very clean.
