It was my first visit to this location and I just loved it. It has a small counter for cooked veggies and snacks. And for the first time i got everything in my list. I had to buy some pooja specific things, and had asked help. The lady whom i asked help was so helpful and even gave me pan leaves from fresh set she was making. I will go here again if i am in the area..
I like this location its not too far from my house its always clean the people are always pleasant and they always have what Im looking for. A fantastic selection of dahl, pickle, rice or some kind of spice. If youre trying to save money buy your spice in bulk. They sell it there. Its so cheap its ridiculous
Excellent customer service. The manager, Hiteshbhai is very helpful and provides excellent customer service. Also one time in the past he was very helpful in resolving an issue .Thank you for resolving my issue today, greatly appreciated.
Great Indian grocery store. Not just grocery You get many possible indian thing you want which are directly shipped from india.
This place is really good and has authentic Indian and Pakistani stuff, however the only reason its getting a 4 is due to the strong scent in the store which sometimes makes it unbearable to even stand in the isles and the fact that employees kind of look depressed, should atleast greet someone.
Offers fresh snacks like samosas. But prices are not competitive
Horrible store. The vegetables section smells awful with lots of rotten coconut. All the carts are super dirty and the store is so congested. Staff are arrogant. The curries they sell dont look fresh. The green gram bought here was of worst quality. Overall a bad experience.
Good place containing Indian grocery items. In addition, you can also find Indian utensils, etc.
Great store for vegetarian seekers n Indians craving home food
You get fresh Indian veggies all Indian groceries. You get freshly prepared chapatis and sabzis like palak paneer, panner curry, dal, bhindi sometimes etc and lots of different samosas and puffs .
Good for Indian groceries. Prices of veggies are a little expensive.
We have been shopping at this store ever since it opened and it is always an excellent experience. My wife shops there most of the times and the staff is very helpful. The owner (Hitesh Patel) is even more help and tries his best to help all his customers. He is very down to earth and cordial person that values every customer. Highly recommended store.
The staff are very RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. The manager is asking the customers to wear the mask but their staff does not follow the same rules, the staff there are not wearing the mask properly or gloves. The workers are illegal and are ABUSIVE with customers. This place needs to shut down immediately before something big happens in that store. The owners are not aware of how their managers are running this store. I have pictures of the staff not wearing masks.
Nice store. Should get all the Indian groceries here. Sometimes the stocking is slow and a few products arent available for months but thats been improving. Overall, friendly staff with good variety. Their fresh chapatis is worth trying for everyone who eats frozen chapatis.
Clean, large choice quality fruits and vegetables. I bought several vitamins with help from knowledgeable employee. Thank you
The carts are never avaialbale in the slot. They are always in the parking and staff does not take them back periodically.
Good indian vegetables and spices are available here. All vegetarian food ingredients are available here. Some ayurvedic medicines are also available. Indian womens dresses are available. Before check out grab some chapaties and vada pau or samosas. After checkout you can pay visit to attached saibaba temple.
This place is crazy, especially the live kitchen section where you have ready to eat stuff. The curries are nasty dripping with tons of used oil. It’s extremely unhealthy and feels uncomfortable instantly after you consume them. I’m reporting this place to FDA, I’m surprised no one have ever complained about this yet. I bought 0.5lb of panner curry and it made me extremely uncomfortable after eating it. This place definitely needs atleast a warning from FDA.
Vegetables and fruits seemed in bad. Was my first time there. Need to take care of that section as most of the fruits seemed to be in bad condition
By far the worst quality of products it carries, and prices it charges is exorbitantly very high. In Mumbai where I lived growing up, we had groceries of much better quality than this store sells here. Swad brand is by far the worst quality one could ever get. Probably wants to recover its overhead for the huge store. Avoid these swindlers. I think all the reviews are fake reviews.
Nice collection. You guys should open one in Austin. Man Pasand is the biggest store here but no match to these guys.
Not very great deals when compared with other stores
Good place and maintained well. They help you find the items and have options for few snacks. They serve Chappti with are made on site.
One of my favorite Indian grocery shop, good price good quality. Reasonable grocery shop in Plano Texas.
Not getting the groceries that I want recently. And its not because of COVID-19. Other grocery stores that I tried have all the groceries, and fresh too. Thinking of making a switch.
This location isnt a big as the one Irving, but it still has a great selection of spices, chutneys, sauces, rice and frozen items. If youre a non-Indian foodie like me, this is a must visit grocery store.
Store is good for indian products but not the restroom area
Best place to get Indian groceries and other essentials. It’s literally a small India far from India. Just love that place
Best place to get Indian grocery. Great staff and friendly place. I wish they kept a waiting area or 3/4 chairs and offered free tea for all just as a kind gesture especially when people come there with their elder parents 😉😉
Another Indian Grocery store. Personally I prefer the store near stonebriar mall.
Best India grocery store in Dallas
Great products and beautiful shopping experience
Best Indian grocery in Plano. It mostly source all green vegetables from Mexico and Texas neighbor states. Good part is prices are reasonable . Usually vegetables stays good for 3-4 days mostly due to they are preservatives free. Only red tomato has been observed to have light oil sprayed to keep it for a longer time. Spices are mostly good or excellent. Available in small medium and large sizes. Ready made foods are available but they are of average quality. Foods are all vegetarian but few months back they used to keep frozen fish in the refrigerator located at the back of the shop. Fish are no longer available. During Diwali very good deals on rice, flour, lentils etc. are available.
Prices Too High. Even basic things cost hefty amounts. NO Discounts. Few items are near expiry. Check date on each item you buy. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Good store, as a student I would highly recommend.
Good place for ind-pk groceries
Thanks for the vegetable donations, they feed many people
They have a decent selection of Indian groceries. You can also buy some freshly made Indian snacks from here. Overall, the prices are reasonable.
Very crowded ..good place for fresh vegetables
Went to this place and cashier was coughing. Bagger came and stood one feet away from me. These folks had no regards for pandemic. Completely ignorant people. I would not recommend this place.
Nothing but best when it comes to Indian grocery shopping. They’ve pretty much all items stocked always
First visit to this location in Plano, i usually shop at the Frisco location. I was so disappointed to see the wilted condition of the produce here. I noticed every produce display was a complete messy disaster and the produce appeared rotten as if the produce clerk couldnt care less about removing the wilted rotten pieces. The reason for my visit was to purchases some spices, frozen Naan bread and a few fresh veggies to make Chicken Tika Masala at home. I liked the fact the King Basmati rice 10lb bag was on sale for $6.99, I thought that was a nice deal. However, as I walked thru the store, I noticed the floors were filthy dirty. Thats it! Im shopping in Frisco bc this Plano location looks like a low-classed, low budget, unclean grocery store and to be located in Plano of all places is surprising😩
I like the Patel Brothers at TX-121 and Cluster as opposed to this one. While it has good variety of grocery items, need a little more space as it is very congested and crowded
They have all the different spices you can think of. Spices not only for Indian cuisine but also for other south Asian cuisine is available here. They also have vegetables, sweets, and frozen fishes as well
Most of the snacks are very old. But, vegetables and fruits are good.
You will find Bangladeshi and Indian grocery here. Price is reasonable. However this shop has cleanliness issue.
A place where you can get a little bit of exotic Asian Indian taste and culture, great prices and groceries always fresh, quick service and very customer friendly.
Love the produce
Smaller Patel then other locations. Little more cleanliness would be appreciated.
No proper customer care
Heaven for Indians who miss Indian food and groceries. Just feels like D-Mart inside with all your people shopping around you. All the snacks are palatable. The best place to buy rice!!
Great on weekdays
One stop shop for your Indian grocery needs. I wish the store floors would be cleaner. The prices are high compared to other stores.
The Store good variety of Indian and Pakistani food items
Everything has good prices I like the fact that there is a salon where you can get your eyebrows threaded and theres also a place where you can buy Indian clothes this is my second time coming here but the first time at this particular location Irving is the biggest location but this particular location has its perks especially with the salon in Indian clothing
Okay. My cultures cooking uses a lot of Indian ingredients. Shredded coconuts. Curry leaves. Tamarinds. Cumin. Shallots. So Patel Brothers is the nearest place for us to visit. But I sometimes go a bit farther to their competitor. I mean, the products are great. The Chapatis are well priced and is made fresh. Its the spatial awareness of my fellow shoppers. Also, the cashiers look at me like Im guilty of something. If I wanted to be judged, I wouldve joined Americas Got Talent. I just wanna get some of those wonderful crackers that you have, dear Cashier-Person.Otherwise, location is great, products are great, its clean and well-priced.
Good place for shopping specific indian items. The grocery is more costly compared to walmart and target.
Prices r a little bit high otherwise they jave everything
Always a place to go for fresh Indian vegetables and groceries!!
Great place for Indian grocery and food items. Reasonable prices but i wish they start a loyalty program as well. You can get cooked curries, chapatis, and other snacks here.
The best place to get all Indian food and grocery items here in Far North Dallas. Whenever you go there, expect a 3 digit bill at least. The place is so Indian that itll prompt you to buy anything and everything. Almost anything you cant get anywhere in USA is found here and that too, the Indian brands. Had the outlet been near UTD, it would have surely amassed profits.
Could be better if they offer online services too like store2k.com
Life line of Indians living around that place.
I love this store. Its a classic Indian grocery, so many wonderful things. The staff is helpful with any questions you might have. They have a small prepared food area and it is quite tasty. I just wish it was a little closer, but its so worth the drive. I always leave happy.
Best store for Indian groceries and lot of varieties
They have fresh nuts, sweet mangosFresh vegetables.Love it
Good place for Indian groceries
Great place for Indian grocery and vegetable. Cheap rate of product and good quality as well. Cleaning of the store is not up to the standard. Always a good crowd available for shopping. A regular place to shop for indian cultural shopping.
Good for Indian grocery food shopping.
Clean and fresh produce.
Messy. To many boxes in the isles
Fresh vegetables and exclusive bSead brand products.
A place for Indian cuisine and groceries. I love spices. I love curries, you will surely find all varieties at Patel Brothers
The best place to get Indian groceries. Just watch the expiration dates. Stuff takes a long time from manufacture to shelf.
Very good Indian groceries store. I love to go here for marketing. Almost Indian groceries as well as fresh vegetables are available here.
Some fruits and vegetables not fresh
Always consistently good and fresh goods. I started coming here after my mother moved to the US.We always find all kinds of stuff needed for cooking various styles of Indian cuisines. The vegetables seem to be fresh. A+.since 1989 to about few years back, my go to store was Taj imports in Richardson, but with that closed, Patel Brothers is my 1st choice.
Great choice and price
Get all items most of time, but very costly.
In all the Indian Grocery store they work hard to retain Customer.
We usually go there once in a month. They have various types of fresh vegetables, fruit, spicy food, cookies. We are happy to have this kind of store nearby.
A very well organized Indian grocery store with a delicious canteen style deli. The employees seem to be happy and positively responsive to my multiple questions every time I have been here. The selection of produce is diverse and well handled as are the items in the packaged food and spices sections. The frozen food diversity is also fairly extensive and offers a wonderful change to a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle if one has primarily shopped at American stores. Definitely my go to stop for Indian grocery items.
Very Good Fresh Groceries, Fresh Produce.
Great place, great prices..but they are THE busiest Indian Grocery Supermarket. But, they have great staffing and they move fast. You will find a huge health and beauty selection here. They have boutiques inside the Supermarket and they have THE BEST Indian/Pakistani produce department in all of Dallas/Fort Worth. Looking for something in particular? Chances are you will find it here. FIVE STARS for running a great business Patel Brothers!!
Great for Indian groceries and items to buy
Overall a great store. A few years ago this was the only big store worth going to for Indian grocery shopping but lately competition has gone up ( good for the consumers ). This store does not have as many choices as the other stores but its still up there with all the stores in the area.
Had a blast! Silly I know but I was with good company. We ate good food.
Great selection of products and the owner Mr Hitesh Patel is always in the store and very helpful to help us find anything we need. They treat all customers well.
Sorry to say almost Zero social distancing!😔😔😔😔
The place is too crowded and staff is very arrogant. The prices are overrated.
