Didnt fix the part I asked for, fixed another, then charged me for doing more work than they did. Will never go here again.Update: I went in to do the repairs myself and found that the not only broke several pieces, but also lied about a suspected part needing replaced. I was told this part looked fine with no cracks, it is cracked like that in 3 spots on both sides.

Very professional. Super friendly and efficient. The reason I have four instead of five was I had to call them to see if my van was ready after 3 hours of a drop off service. It was ready they just hadn’t called me to notify me. No big deal. I use them all the time and they are great!

Pretty knowledgeable guys. Willing to fix their mistake of lowering the car too low. Wasn’t a big fan they made me pay for the additional man hours when they were the ones who slammed my vehicle when installing the new suspension without asking where I wanted or needed it. Great work just very expensive. Would be nice if the developed a valued customer discount or program. Had a number of services with them. Will continue to use them. Maybe they will incorporate veteran discounts in the future. Who knows.Check them out they will get your car issues sorted.

I went in for an oil change and noise in my car. I was going to be there longer than anticipated. I told him I didn’t want to sit there that long and he offered me the company car to leave and run errands or whatever I needed/wanted to do, I accepted. Will definitely be back.

I always take my car here and they do a great job. Never had a bad experience. They work fast and are friendly. My vehicle is old and over the years has needed lots of maintenance they have always helped me and helped me with any issue I have had with my vehicle.

This was by far my best experience with Meineke. Unexpected car issues which really stressed me out. I had no appointment, they had me out within at least an hour and half. he assured me I was going to be okay and he was going to take care of me. I believe it was the manager who was assisting me the entire time and he was just amazing. Left with a smile, definitely my go to location

This place has always taken great care of my vehicles. I drive ride share and put tons of miles on them and when maintenance needs done the price has always been fair and the work top notch.

They were super busy and managed to get my car in and out in a timely manner. Manager was very helpful to other walk ins as well as folks calling in on the phone constantly. Always patient and professional!

The mechanic took 2 hours instead of 1 hour to patch up my tire. He didn’t pull the my car out of the garage and left my keys in the cup holder. It’s a push button start so I was lucky that I seen the keys and didn’t lock my keys in my car. I wouldn’t take my bicycle there coz they put me on the back burner and made me wait 2 hours while they waited on other people first. I would never go there again.

Pleased with the services provided. We had a family emergency, requiring us to travel across multiple states. We needed someone to look at our vehicle to ensure our vehicle was travel safe ASAP. We reached out to several shops and none of them had availability or were closed as this was on a Saturday. These guys were able to get us in same day and took care of everything. I will be returning to this business for all service needs going forward.

Brought in my 85 rx7 for some major work. I gave them a wrong part and had to get a new one but they were cool about it. They gave me a good price and were some alright guys. Any time I cant do something myself Ill be bringing it to them.

Excellent customer service. Andrew was very understand and helpful with my emergency repairs. He went out of his way to insure I was taken care of quickly. He gave me documents to insure a refund from a competitor that had not done a proper job on a previous repair.

Big shout out to Thomas, thanks man. This guy is single handedly the reason my truck got fixed. I was stranded overnight in Plainfield after my truck broke down on I-70 and Thomas made sure I made it home.

Called EJ the day before (general manager)and let him know I would be in the following week. Decided I would actually get my exhaust put on the very next day, and he still managed to get my car worked on. Andrew was a very professional guy to work with, and everything felt family oriented. Everyone was communicative and kept me in the loop. I will definitely be back to get my other vehicles exhausts worked on! Good crew here!

I had them perform a free brake check and a $20 full electrical system check. The results of their electrical check told me the same thing that the free Advanced Auto Parts electrical check did, so I’ll just stick with Advanced next time and save myself the $20.

I was stranded on the highway and my serpentine belt had broken. Andrew got me in the same day and had it fixed even though it was a really busy day for them. Excellent work!

I usually take my car to Meineke because they always provide the best service and professionalism possible. I usually make an appointment ahead of time but yesterday I had an emergency (I needed to drive ASAP to Ohio) so I just called them to figure out if they were very busy or not. The guy said, “we are always busy but what can we do for you?” I explained my situation and he didn’t hesitate at all. He asked me to take my car whenever I was ready for it. In conclusion, they saved my day!

I’ve been getting my vehicles serviced at this location for years, and this is the first time I was left with a sour taste in my mouth. I feel I was overcharged in labor fees for a simple battery install which probably took minutes to complete. Didn’t realize I was getting charged this until after the service was complete. Had I had known, I would have put the battery in myself.

Service was exceptional. This is among the best service experiences Ive ever had.

This is the 1st time that a shop went through an entire checklist and didn try to sell me extra services.. They came back and told me everything looks good but you should look into some new tires. For starters my appointment was scheduled at 7:30. I arrived at 7:20 and checked in. Around 8:15 the person who checked me said the mechanic was running late. The mechanic arrived around 9:20. The oil change was completed around 10a.m over two late. I paid for a tire rotation that was included in the service but not done. Was told my free oil change points starting over and old one no longer counts. It took too long, I didnt receive a tire rotation and felt at their mercy because I changed my schedule to be in and out the first thing in the morning. It thew off my entire day because I had to change and reschedule everything. I dont if theres a new owner or manager but may not return if, I dont hear back. I own three vehicles and always gone there but may change. Very disappointed! I could have saved money but just paying the an oil change somewhere else. I assume my tires werent balanced as well?

Very very poor experience !! We went back to this business because we heard well and have been treated better but their customer service is degraded and not worth your time now. Went for steering stabilization on Saturday- they wasted the whole day doing nothing and called us at 3:59 Pm (they close at 4pm) to let us know to come get our car- still not mentioning that nothing was done. The next Monday we go to pick the car and we’re told they couldn’t take care as the parts were not theirs. And to top it all they charged us full $200 for nothing saying we need to pay for labor. This is cheating outrightly and severe lack of professionalism - NEVER GOING BACK!

I liked my experience here. The man who attended to me was very patient and courteous to explain things to me and was understanding to offer me the service specials they were offering.

Made an appointment at 1000am a couple days in advance. Listed I would wait, but when I arrived was told they would try to remove my resonator by the end of the day. Why I asked? Manager said because it is all labor. Should contacted me days ago if they did not want the job.

Let me start by saying I highly enjoy going to places where I can genuinely trust the people and care they provide. The owners and technicians take pride in their customer service and for that I will continue to always be a customer. Yesterday I had an appointment to have a tire changed which was $80 cheaper than any other place quoted along with an oil change. I was greeted with a pleasant smile and wonderful service. I ended up needing my air filter changed and left paying even less than what I was originally quoted. I’m glad I have found a trustworthy shop for all of my car repair needs. Thank you!

I really liked the guy up front, I had four hours to talk with him after going in to do an inside the wall tire patch. He was very nice and sociable and his original quote for two tires was only $10 more per tire than I normally pay. Yes, I needed two tires because the one tire could not be patched. He told me I had made the hole to big and too rough with previous repairs. I deliberately did not go to a tire shop because I knew they would just try to sell me a tire, I figured they would just patch it and go. I went to the warehouse 20 minutes away and picked up my tires so as not to tie up the mechanic. He ordered the wrong tires. I’ve done the same thing on my truck, no big deal. I waited for the right tires, saved their guy two trips because he wouldn’t have known he had the wrong tires. We had agreed he’d knock some off the bill for me going to get the tires. Four hours later, they didn’t have the right cone to balance my truck tires, I paid the bill without causing a scene. $40 more per tire than I’d been told because of their boo boo. $50 more than I ever pay for the same tire. I pay the bill and leave in my moms truck while she waits for mine that’s “almost done.” She leaves an hour later then goes back for 2-3 more hours while they do it all again because they programmed the tire sensors wrong. I had a bad day, my mom has a bad day, they had a bad a day. I was going to leave it be. I do not like to complain. I was even charged $6 to recycle the two tires I told them I wanted to keep. One was perfectly fine after all and I have a guy that will patch the other for me.Why complain now? I just looked at the tire I wanted patched. My plug was still in it!!!!! NO ATTEMPT had even been made to try to plug my tire. I was lied to right from the start from a guy that I actually liked.I can’t stand a liar.

I took my Passat in for a AC recharge and I received a call from one of the workers saying I needed a new battery. I told him I just had it checked at Autozone and they said it was good. He then proceeds to tell me it died when they were pulling it in to service it. I tell him not to mess with it. He then proceeds to lie again and tell me my battery is in a hard to reach location. I was unaware of where my battery exactly was (my fiance does the car maintenance). So I again ask where the battery is and hes lies and says they have to move the fuse box to get to it. I tell him if that has to be done then go ahead and change it. He says okay and he will call when he is done. Hours go by and I get no call. I then call asking if my car is ready and he says yes. I get there to pick it up and pay, I do. I go out to check the AC and battery change and I notice two rather large scratches on my hood. I then open the hood and see the battery is easily accessible and no fuse box is around to obstruct anything. I go back in and tell the guy my hood is scratched and the battery was not hard to get to. He then pulls up a picture with the hood already up and from a far distance and tries to say you can see the scratches. I then get upset and told him you cant see anything bc the body of the car is in the way and the pic was taken after they had touched my car so it doesnt even matter. I then bring up my battery change and tell him I was lied to about where it as located. He then proceeds to tell me that ...usually batteries in Passats.... I stopped him and told him that when you are working on someones car you be specific to that car and not generalize or assume. He then stops trying bs me and says the manager will call me. I give my info again and leave. I never got a call.I can not stress enough how shady this shop is. They are liars and will not do the right thing whether working on your vehicle or correcting any damages they cause. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else. Mienke is as corrupt as they come.

Andrew Lutzke, the manager, was prompt. He had some problems with the computer system, so there were some hiccups with paperwork. Accepting that business is down due to Coronavirus, I felt could have Andrew could have been better at explaining different oils and discounts available. Lube was finished on time.

I have used this Meineke for a couple of years now. They are honest and have fair prices. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.

Refused to diagnose the issue I had suggested resulting in needless money handed over to them, and when they actually did the job I had originally suggested they left wires hanging and the fuel lines were not fastened back into place.Some of the guys there are great. The folks at the counter like to gouge for money.

I’ve never had a good experience here and regret continuing to come here over the last several years. I’ve had lug nuts left off creating wobbly tires, noises starting after service, significant amounts of money spent to tell me a cable was unhooked, hours waiting with an appointment while walks in come and leave ahead of me and rewards points not able to be used. When asked for my feedback the front office representative, while not wearing a mask during a pandemic and couldn’t even read my name Matt correctly from the screen, became defensive, tried justifying the poor service instead of apologizing. I won’t be returning.

I am appalled by the customer service I received from the General Manager, EJ, today. I have visited this location for my services for the past 7 years. I have never received such a poor level of professionalism and lack of customer service than I have today from EJ. I will never be returning here for my services and would not recommend this business to anyone who is searching for a place to have their vehicles services. Terrible service led by an owner who allows his employees to treat their customers so poorly. Search for other options for your vehicle maintenance.

Came in for a routine oil check and got the customary inspection. They were super thorough, even explained with pictures. Good customer service and inexpensive. Left, then came back 3 hours later for more work done, they got me in with a smile. Wont be getting work done anywhere else.

I made an appointment the previous day and showed up 10 mins early to my appointment to be prompt. I went to walk around as the car was being fix because I have my 8 month old to occupy. I hadn’t heard anything in 45 mins so I walked back only to have my car sitting out front. I asked if it was done and he said it was about to go back. I asked for my keys as I can’t wait with an infant another 30 mins. He rolled his eyes and sighed as he went to get the keys.. no apology, no better luck next time. Nothing.If a person makes an appointment they have a reason for that appointment. If I wanted to sit around all day I would just pop in. I understand being busy, however over booking or taking extra walk ins before an appointment is not acceptable. I’ll take my business somewhere they don’t roll their eyes and treat busy mothers as a burden.

Was satisfied from start to finish

So I had a van checked out for a no start condition which ended with $870 bill, I asked what the issue was for the no start condition and they said the starter solenoid wire was bad and I asked if they replaced the wire and they replied NO we just repaired it and then they said the rear brakes were locked up so they had to replace hardware and drums. I feel like they took advantage of my sister since she dropped the caravan off. I think they play customers like a fool, especially women. Dont get service here, find you a trustworthy mechanic. I dont recommend them at all

Made an appointment in which they said they were running behind a few minutes, only it ended up being an hour before they even took the car into the garage. When the boss asked the employee to grab the car, he threw a fit a little and tossed an I guess out there, like he had no respect or enjoyed working there. Once they took the car, the same worker drove and was rough on the car and fast on driving it around the parking lot, which I noticed all the employees who drove were like that. After they finished, the employee was again rough pulling the car out and heavy on the pedal. They topped it off with parking the car in a disable spot, which is illegal. Wont be returning to this or any other location for that matter.

They were able to fit me in the same day. They were concerned they might need to replace my serpentine belt based on the car symptoms, but in the final analysis only needed to do some tensioner tightening and Freon replacement to get me running well again. They did not push me to replace things that were not broken and their prices were very reasonable. One of the best interactions Ive had with mechanics.

Visited store on Saturday, October 19, 2019. I was severely overcharged for the services. I was charged 4 1/2 hours of labor when the mechanic worked on my vehicle less than 3 hours. The parts were incredibly overpriced also - much higher than dealership pricing! I put in a complaint with the corporate office and an EJ Trumpold was not going to budge. Instead he told me to go get a written quote from another mechanic. I have yet to find a mechanic that will give me a quote on work already done. I was charged a total of $930.67 to replace the thermostat and upper coolant hose. $495.00 of it is labor. I was treated unfairly by Meineke in Plainfield. I was not given a quote before hand to see what I was getting into. I was not told what the cost would be until after work started on the vehicle. I questioned why so much and the guy at the counter said Thats the way it is. I trusted him because I had been there before and had had an excellent experience. That was why I came back. Then I dealt with a different guy. This new guy seems to be a thief. My verbal quotes do not exceed $580. Black, female buyer.....beware!!! I say that because there was another Black woman in the store that they tried to charge her over $800 to replace front brakes on her Honda CR-V. She refused. Good for her!

So much for appointments. Had an appointment for 11:30. At 12:00 it got on the rack, and at 12:30 they finally started working on an oil change and tire rotation.The manager took employees off the job to meet with an Aflac agent instead of working on the cars they had contracted to work on.Plus, they charge an additional $10 labor OVER the cost of the oil change. So much forAmanda was very kind and did offer an apology and stepped up to get the job done and did the job.The manager offered a discount after the review was posted, so I am upgrading this to two stars.

I was getting my sons brakes done and was told the price of $980 plus $200 more if the master cylinder needed done. Upon completion they called me to pick up having only completed the rear brakes for the $980 and of course it did need the master cylinder another $200. It tried to tell me that they gave me two prices to start with and I told them only to do the rear brakes. Which was ridiculous because the front brakes were completely out why would I tell them to do rear brakes and not front brakes in their own inspection it showed the front brakes needed immediate attention! The representative told me that he told me two different prices a price of $1,600 to do all breaks and 980 to do the rear brakes which absolutely did not happen. My sons car is basically a junk car and had they told me $1,600 I would have told him forget it its not worth it. They ended up changing the front rotors without charging me and using the brake pads that were already on the car with no warranty of course! I feel like I just got screwed!

Then immediately went back inside and told me it would be $250.00 to repair. I went to the next shop CarX and they fixed my broken latch free of charge. I will not be returning.

Really Appreciate this shop. They really took care of me and my Chevy Tahoe. Best customer service Ive had in a long time. Mangment went above and beyond and the crew worked hard to get my vehicle back in the road. Meineke in Plainfield indiana will have my business for a long time with customer service like that!!!!
