After many years dealing with Classic Chevrolet, I was shocked at my last 2 experiences. Both times, the service manager recommended outlandish and expensive work. The first time, I fell for it to the tune of over $900. But when I brought my car in 2 months later for oil change and tire rotation, he again came up with service recommendations amounting to over $900. I looked it over and pointed out that one of the items on the list, coolant flush, they had done 2 months ago. Still he recommended it because they suggested I replace the coolant hoses, so of course, a flush was again indicated. It was then that I realized that his strategy can be summed up in one word: Ka-Ching! I have lost all confidence in Classic Chevrolets service recommendations. This is a terrible loss for me because they were wonderful for so many years.

I was greeted by name before I even got to the service desk. While the inspection took a bit longer than I thought, employees in both the service and sales departments made sure I was comfortable. From check in to check out, everyone was kind. I won’t take my car anywhere else.
The sales rep Mike and the financial assistant Norm at the used car dealership down the street were great no pressure no calling me back bugging me, let me make my decision and it was great they put me in a great car that had less than 29000 miles on it. Theyre very friendly very nice there and I will be taking my car back for services.

Had my 23 or 24 oil change. They told me the oil drain pan threads were stripped out, and they had to replace the oil pan at a cost of $370.01 + tax. This dealer is the only place that ever change the oil. I have been involved whit combustion engines for 47 years and the only tine this happened was when a mechanic either cross threaded it or over tightened the plugs. this also involved Hydraulic thanks.I do not feel this should have been my responsibility!! I paid my bill under protest.I am not a happy Chevy owner. This vehicle was purchased new in Nov.2011. and they are the ones who have serviced it.Yours TrulyRichard B Jackson
I use this Chevy location for convenience, less than a mile from my business. The customer services is AWFUL and does not respect others time!!I needed to have my passenger side mirror and handle replaced, put down more than half of the quoted price, scheduled my appointment for 6 days out. Had y car dropped off at 7:15am, was told it would take a little over an hour. 12:30 pm, I get a call to let me they ordered the wrong parts and would have to reorder them, they should be in the next day. Almost 5 hours after the fact they tell they have the wrong parts. That call should have been made right after my car was dropped off!!It seems every time I drop my car off, there is always a problem and they have always handled the situation poorly. I guess thats the cost of convenience!!
Robert was very helpful. We went to three other dealerships told them what we were looking for and they basically said no we dont have any maybe you will have better luck somewhere else. Robert took the time to search for the vehicle that we wanted provided all the detail for the vehicle and even though we had our own financing he recommended letting Classic check and see if they could get a better interest rate (which they did).
Completely unsatisfied customer. I bought a used 2015 Sonic LT September 28th 2020 with 70000 miles on it and Ive already had to major issues with the car costing me over $700 after what the nonsense warranty they sold me covered. Both times I ended up spending more out of pocket than what the warranty covered. Not to mention that the second major issue came 2 days after being inspected.Happy to say that Classic Chevrolet called me back and refunded me my money after realizing my situation. I honestly think that they have a very good dealership and super nice employees and Im glad that they reached out to me to make things right. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

My fiance and I found ourselves in need of a new vehicle because of recent accident that totaled her car. (She is fine!) We did our research and decided on a Certified Used 2019 Chevy Colorado from Classic Chevrolet. Tonight, my fiance went to look at the truck, and attempted to work with Mike to make a deal. The truck was advertised with 7,490 miles. On arrival, the Truck had a little over 16,000 miles. To explain, Mike told my fiance that managers have free reign to drive the vehicles for personal use. My fiance also noticed some slight (albeit reparable) damage in the bed liner. With these issues, my fiance asked for some flexibility in price, and was only offered an extension of the certified warranty. To us, this seems unacceptable and unfair that an employee of the dealership can use a vehicle, which decreases its value while leaving the sale price unchanged. I can only hope the ownership knows the way its employees are running their business.
Wish your drivers knew how to use a turn signal. Youd think that would be second nature working - working in the automotive industry and all.I suppose for some people, it truly must be hard to walk and chew gum at the same time.

Worked with Mike P who made the transaction feel transparent and fair. He was professional yet friendly. Finance Mgr Mike was also terrific to do business with - not at all high pressure like prior Fin. Mgrs I have dealt with. He was very courteous, helpful, and friendly. I was traveling from Delaware to Pittsburgh for work when my sonic started overheating. I made the mistake by Calling North Star first and knowing my situation, they had NO empathy at all! I went in to Classic Chevrolet with my 2012 Chevy Volt while it was making a noise from the transmission. I was helped by Rick Lazar. Rick helped me with the issue and ensured that they have experts in hybrid cars. What I loved is he really made me feel that he really cares for my car and ensured that he can get it repaired. I did not even mind the fact that he did not commit to an ETA. The parts took a little longer to arrive but Rick was very steadfast in calling me and providing updates about the progress.The best part is when it took more than a week he made arrangements and provided me with a car until he received the parts and got my car repaired! Really admire how empathetic Rick has been.Rick is an asset to Classic Chevrolet and embodies honesty, politeness and empathy. I recommend Classic Chevrolet to everyone.

Stay away from this place,I purchased a used car from them a 2007 Buick Lucerne with 62000 miles on it.they told me upon purchase that they checked everything over and the car was fine,well on the day I purchased the car I was driving home and the tire sensor monitor kept flashing on the screen that the left front and right front tires were low on air then when I got home the passenger side rear door wouldn’t open then the check engine light came on and on top of that the battery was bad I had to keep charging it to get it started.they told me when I bought the car it had a 4 month warranty through them plus I purchased and extended warranty for 1200 dollars for 3 years needless to say the battery isn’t covered under the warranty the point is they said they checked everything out and the car was fine the only thing they did was wash the car and sold it cause if they checked it out they would have found all the problems I had. I got a complete run around from the service department about fixing the car do yourself a favor and don’t purchase a car from them
From the minute I walked in the door, I knew it would be a different experience. I felt welcomed. I was listened to and my options were explained to me. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions. I got a great deal and a vehicle that was exactly what I was looking for in with payments that I could afford. Out $140 for diagnostics when they said nothing was wrong. Took it to Chevy in Wexford and they figured out and fixed our problem. Dont go here folks. Totally rude and incompetent. Sadly. Oh and if you have an appointment make sure they look at your car at the scheduled time. Took them 2 hours after the fact to even do that.

Blew a brake line in the company van 50 miles from work. Limped it in to the service center at Classic Chevrolet in Bellevue, Pa.Rick Lazar, the Chevrolet service rep, told me their schedule was full for the day, but he would see what he could do, knowing I was stuck there until repairs could be made. He was able to eventually fit me into the queue, and after a few hours, I was on the road again.I am so grateful that Rick made it a priority for our vehicle to get into the shop, and I will be forever in the debt of Classic Chevrolet and their capable service group! Thanks to all of you! You folks are my heroes!

Worst dealership experience I have ever had. Avoid this dealership at all costs. I took my 2014 Camaro here two weeks ago to fix a water leak (a leak they had already fixed). They had my car for over a week and when I got my car back it was a mess. The headliner was not put back on properly, plastic trim pieces were not attached correctly, plastic trim screws were missing, dirt and grease were all over the headliner/ front seats, my floor mats were just thrown in the back, and no attempt to clean anything was taken. It is a shame because it would not have taken very much more effort to put everything back properly and clean their mess. The failure to do this shows a complete lack of care. It also makes you question the quality of work that was done on the car.When I told Mark at the service desk he said he would make it right.... but only if I came back tomorrow. After not having my car for over a week and having a busy schedule that is the last thing I wanted/ could do. They just wanted to brush it under the rug and hope that the problem never presented itself again.Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership, honestly go to any other one.

Recently switched dealerships to service my and my companys vehicles and am amazed at how quick service is done, I drop the vehicle off before the appointment time and somehow work is completed within an hour or so of dropping it off. I had taken my car to several dealerships to get a quote on for what I thought was a muffler issue. Not only did every dealership besides, Classic Chevrolet, provide extremely outrageous quotes, they did not even diagnose the problem correctly. Brian at Classic Chevrolet got my car in right away at an extremely fair price. They were very accommodating and friendly through the whole experience. I would definitely recommend any of my friends to go to Classic Chevrolet.

They sold me a used 2013 Genesis with 4 bad tires but illegally passed them for inspection and slapped a new sticker on good for a year. My car was impounded by DOT for failing safety. Car was re inspected and failed. Sticker pulled by Harrisburg DOT. Classic passed this car for safety but the 4 tires were bad which I mentioned before purchase. The Salesman assured me tires were good. They also advertised the car with a platinum warranty transferred from the previous owner. After purchase I contacted the warranty department of Genesis who told me there is no platinum warranty on the vehicle. I contacted the dealership who has been giving me the run around on this warranty since April 2018. In July they finally got me the warranty after I contacted the bbb. They tried to sell a car claiming it had a warranty transfer so legally they had no choice but to supply one. they have not made good for illegally passing the tires for safety inspection and jeopardizing myLife and everyone else on the road. Beware when purchasing a vehicle from them.

My company purchased a pick up truck from this dealership I was told that went through a recent inspection Two days later, we found out that one of the front wheels bearings was bad,, contacted the dealership and nothing was done. same week the other side wheel bearing went out too on top of that, the hitch receiver was completely rust out and the manager told us that he was going to order one 3 weeks went by and several phone calls to be told to go out of my way to a local U haul to get one installed THIS DEFINITELY WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A DEALERSHIP I EVER HAD! ZERO STARS IF I COULD

Horrible customer service.
I was in a small accident and the damage was done on my front passenger fender area. I was able to get my car into classic to get the body work done. The manager, Kevin, got me in as soon as I could get in, they were helpful and informative about what needed done. They offered to put on a fog light cover I had ordered myself, for free. The body work looks fantastic, and they cleaned and buffed the entire car. They also filled in paint chips for me. Amazing body team. I highly recommend Kevin and his crew for anyone who needs body work done!
My salesman was very straight forward, honest, no bull. The entire process was surprisingly pleasant. I am very pleased with my 2017 Equinox!

After an employee blatently lied to me and attempted to cover his mistakes, Lee nearly called me a liar and wouldnt even consider the possibility of rectifying. Run far far away from this place!!!! Do not trust this place for you service or sales needs. You will be happy you looked elsewhere!

Great place to buy your vehicle.Great service, starting at the top with the owner(Lee), all the way down the board. Bought my last 3 vehicle there, and wouldnt consider buying anywhere else. Not the biggest dealership in Pgh, but definitely the best in my opinion.
I was blocked in the street behind their building waiting for their truck to move. They stood around making three cars backup onto the street and when I told them to move the truck they said were working go around. Parts delivery truck number 8 license plate ZDW-4359. I would never go here with employees that rude! I asked for the service manager and he was nowhere to be found!

I was quoted a price on a truck that was sitting on the lot on 5/10/18 and called back the next day to tell them that I was going to come back to buy it that evening (after work). The cost of the truck miraculously goes up almost 10k. Shady characters over at Classic Chevrolet. Would not recommend.
I was to get my last free oil change, scheduled it for that, saying free oil change, no one informed me I would pay until I picked up my car, then they thought making it $20.00 made it alright. I can change my own oil, dont need your break, needed what I was promised, have contacted your customer service, who was rude and did nothing. That is exactly what I will do next car purchase, NOTHING FROM YOU! I have always bought GM, but you lie to me, then charge me, you can keep your junk.
I had my car towed to Classic Chevrolet to have my transmission checked out. They told me that my warranty had expired. I explained that I have a lifetime powertrain warranty at the dealership I purchased the car from and that I would take it there to have it serviced. When I went to meet the tow truck to have my vehicle transfered I noticed that there was front end damage to it that wasnt there before. When I called the next day to report the damage they told me that they are not responsible for the damage and that I am. I explained that I have pictures to prove that the damage was not there before it was taken to the dealership, and they still denied any wrong doing. The service manager Brian even admitted that there was no damage to the vehicle when it arrived. They are still refusing to pay for the first.

Great Job Guys! I went to the used car lot at Classic Chevrolet to look at a Chevy Cruze they advertised on line. The Salesman told me Sorry, the Owners Daughter took the car home. Can you come back Monday? I said Uhh no. So I went to Jim Crivelli Chevy in McKees Rocks, where they have essentially the same car, and I bought it from Crivelli. Note to Classic Chevrolet Owner: Youre not doing your Salesmen any favors by letting your kid drive the cars youre trying to sell, especially when there are three other Chevy Dealers within a 10 minute drive.
