The overall buying experience is 4 star. The salesperson, Christian, was excellent. He was attentive and knowledgeable without being pushy. However, the actual financing was painful. We were given a specific time to come in and complete the financing and then waited almost 2 hours to finally complete it. I understand that the dealership was short handed due to a vacation but an appointment time is still an appointment. With that being said, I would recommend others to visit #1 Cochran and work with Christian for your needs. You wont be disappointed.

Unfortunately, my experience was a little sour and I’d caution you from using this dealership.I needed to replace my car because it was unsafe to drive. I was completely transparent with the salesman about my situation. I looked at several used models and ultimately decided on a specific one.After some research, I found it odd that the car I selected was $1800 more than another vehicle on the lot that was the same year/model, had a similar trim package, and the miles were only different by 2000. The only major difference was that the car I liked was a different color. When questioned about this, I was told that the less expensive vehicle had MORE work put into it and was in an accident, and that is why it was less money (basically it’s desirably was presumed to be less).Now, the dealership will tell you that all of their used cars go through a 201 point inspection and they fix whatever doesn’t pass the inspection. Both of these vehicles went through the inspection and received whatever upgrades they needed to pass. Therefore, in my opinion, they are identical in quality.Back to my point, since both of these vehicles are similar overall why aren’t they priced the same?Unfortunately for me, the dealer would not match the lower price, and really, the only difference was the color of the car. I needed a car so I wasn’t going to leave without buying, and I found the car that appealed to me inside and out. It just stings that there was no specific reason to gouge me on price.One last thing, you will be told that the prices of the used vehicles are set in stone. This is not entirely true because they are reduced over time and advertised as reduced on the website. Again, this just goes to show that they had room to work with me on price but chose not to. To a degree, I feel like I was taken advantage of due to my circumstances and the dealer was not reasonable with me in terms of pricing.

I own a 2021 Canyon. I needed my first oil change/tire rotation. When my truck was finally ready, I opened the door and found motor oil all over the interior of my truck. It was on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, the leather seat, the shifter, and the door panel. It was also on the floor board, the door and hood. This is absolutely unacceptable. They also used their shoe to kick the door open and scuffed my door panel. To treat my vehicle in this manner is extremely unprofessional and a blatant disregard for my property. I will not be returning.

I bought a used 2009 Volkswagen Jetta wagon from here, first problem was in the picture it did not show the red side view mirror on this all white car, second problem was when we purchased the vehicle the interior was damp and smelled like a faint mildew smell, no big deal but when we got are first rain day in the car we figured out why the smell was there. Come to find out the car was sold to us With severed moon roof drain hoses and Everytime it rained the front and rear floor collected all the water because of the broken drain hoses and the bad part about it is they knew about this and didnt disclose that information to us so I replaced the hoses out my own pocket but could not afford the 3000$ replacement interior they said had to be replaced

Brought Truck in for inspection emissions and was told “frame rotted out” by the gal at desk. NO OTHER EXPLANATION OR SOLUTION PROVED!!! Just we can’t inspect. The service tech and MANAGER- should have spoken to us. Not just - leave we can’t inspect. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Won’t be bringing either car back - nor recommending for purchase of cars either personally to friends or family or professionally for fleet of vehicles. Very disappointed.

I received a recall notice. I scheduled an appointment and the scheduling representative confirmed with the dealership that the part required to address the recall was in stock. On the day I dropped off my vehicle, the service manager confirmed the work would be completed that day. I followed up mid-afternoon and the dealership representative informed me that the part was not in and I would have to reschedule my repair appointment. No apologies were provided. Just come on over and pick up your vehicle. This is extremely poor service!

I am extraordinarily disgruntled, shocked, and disappointed by my experience here! I always thought this place was reputable and trustworthy; wow was I ever wrong! I very rarely take the time to leave a negative review as I do understand that it can sometimes be a one off experience and I do not like potentially punishing businesses for what could be one bad day, but this is very different. I came to get my yearly inspection on a vehicle I purchased FROM THIS PLACE less than a year ago. From an already pushy and shady interaction at that time, I should have known better than to come back, but I wanted to give this place another chance and I was lured in with a free oil change and inspection, which had hidden costs already as I later found out. I arrived at my scheduled time and was made to wait almost 2 hours before I finally heard from someone. They instructed me that my rear rotors and brakes needed replaced if the vehicle was to pass inspection. As a side note, I was told when I bought the vehicle that all the brakes and rotors were replaced, so in less than one year they should not need replacing especially considering I dont drive the vehicle hard. I had mentioned that to them and they said I dont know about that I told him I visually checked the pads and they appeared well enough, he then told me that they had uneven wearing where you cant really see and told me it would be almost $500 to replace just the rear brakes and rotors which is an outrageous extortionary price and I said No way!. I was then made to wait another hour before someone came in again to let me know that they would knock the price down to around $360, which why wouldnt they have given me that price first place if I needed them done? At this point I knew things didnt add up and I felt like someone was trying to swindle me and I said no again. I was made to wait again for a lengthy time and told I had 14 days to return with new brakes and rotors to get my inspection sticker. I took my vehicle to another service center and they called me to ask me if I was correct in asking about the rear brakes. I said yes and they told me they were in good condition as well as the front brakes and rotors were almost new. They even took them off the vehicle to measure them, send me pictures of them, and said that they would likely be fine for another 3-4 years of normal use and they have no idea why they would tell me that they needed replaced, especially to pass inspection. This other service center also re-did my inspection and got me my sticker. #1 Cochrans service department was very obviously trying to scam me and that is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and terrible business practice. I will not be returning here again and I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

I have a 2013 Kia Forte that needed a crankshaft sensor replacement which could only be done by the dealer. We took the car in on Sept. 10th for the scheduled appointment. No one called us on Thursday or Friday so on Saturday we went in person to check the status. We could see the car in the parking lot with a service ticket on the mirror. The mechanic at the desk though could not find the keys or the service write up. He looked for 20 minutes but we finally left. Eventually he did call about an hour later and told us the part would be in on Thursday. We were not happy that this already had taken 1 week but didn’t know what else to do. Thursday came and no calls or updates. We called and they apologized and said someone would call us. That never happened. Finally over a week and a half later they said the part would be in on Thursday (2 weeks after the appointment) and they would call. Again that never happened and I had to call on Friday. It was finally done and I picked it up on Saturday. The service manager was not going to do anything about the extreme inconvenience which they had caused. Only when I pressed the issue did he relent and agree to a small discount. This is positively the worst service experience I have ever had and I have purchased 4 cars from this dealership but never again.

I took my vehicle there when it broke down during a trip. After a week where I had almost no contact about if the repair was even looked at or finished-I finally reached them to discuss selling it, which I had decided was my best option. I was given a verbal offer and have not been able to get in touch with them since. I have called, left messages, and even tried an email. When I did an online chat, I was told to call during regular hours (it was 11:38 am, they open at 10). I am incredibly frustrated and simply want to be finished and never use them again for any purpose.

Could not imagine a worse experience. Was told that I needed a new sensor and that it would be ordered. Service advisor told me that he would call me on Monday most likely, after a Thursday visit.Have yet to hear a word from anyone. I have tried to call probably 8-10 times for an update. Keep getting pushed around. No one has a clue. Embarrassing.

I visited 9/30 for an inspection. 2:30 appointment. Didnt leave until 6pm. My car was not serviced. They told me a few things needed repaired to pass inspection but I had to come another day. I was able to come in the next morning 10/1. My appointment was for 8:30am and I didnt leave until about 5pm. I neeeded a water pump replaced, front passenger steering rod (wheel alignment) and a hose. Once work was complete I went to get in my car and there were scratches along side the drivers side of my car. I told the employee that gave me my keys. Asked him to look at the photos of my car before service so he can see they were not there. He brought the service manager and some employees to look at it. They buffed them or whatever they did. Scratches were no longer there. Praying that it was really fixed and nothing temporary. There was 10k of work done on the car prior to service from a car accident. Which is why the scratches were so noticeable. Moving along, I noticed when I left that a wheel alignment was not completed as noted. Was completely not aligned and shifting off the road. After being there all day, I decided to wait until Monday to contact them. It was my birthday weekend (10/2) and I had enough. I returned back the following week. I was there for three hours for a service correction and service that doesnt take that long. There was never any manager on site any of the days for me to talk to. I called the monroeville office and left a message and no one ever contacted me back. I decided not to use this location anymore. I was only going because its close to my home. Moving forward Ill be going to northstar buick. Robinsons location is way to slow and the service is horrible.

Took my GMC Sierra Denali in for oil change, tire rotation, emissions and inspection. When leaving noticed small mark on driver side door. Driving directly home I realized it was a half inch to three-quarter inch gouge in the clearcoat. Dealership has still not contacted me four days later, very disappointed. I think I’ll have to find another dealership to do my service. I did a complete wash and wax on the vehicle the day before service, so I know the mark was not there.

I go out to look at a vehicle and the associates lie about the vehicle and say its has a recall, I drove 40 miles for a vehicle they didnt want to sell or was sold to someone else then they call and ask if Im still coming, due to stimulus tax time, I hope the people they sell it to default, or scrap it, I wont return Ill look elsewhere. I would name the individuals, but Ive already fell to there standards in this review. Dont waste your time, they tried to sell me things I didnt want, with High miles, and poorly priced, I was there even took a photo, they had 20 people gunning for it next time be honest say its sold, my apologies dealership are the worst place to go for honesty.

#1 Cochran GMC Service and particularly Service Advisor Chris Geyer deserve a ten star review for the service and kindness they showed me in getting my Terrain serviced and running smoothly. Chris deserves all of the credit for his kindness, his clarity, his willingness to help, and his professionalism. All car dealership service departments can learn from Chris Geyer and his customer service team. I had some issues with my Terrain, and not only did Chris find the problem immediately. the Terrain was serviced and out the door to be picked up within hours. In a world we many people are skeptical about taking their cars and trucks to dealerships to be serviced, I highly recommend #1 Cochran GMC/Buick service to complete any job that you might need on your vehicle. My family and I have used Cochran and the service department in the past on three of our vehicles, and I can honestly say I trust them 100 percent with the care and maintenance of my vehicles. I certainly will be back, and knowing how well I was treated and the fantastic job they did on fixing my Terrain makes me want to purchase my next vehicle from #1 Cochran. We all know that cars and trucks break down, and having a service team and service advisor like Chris Geyer is comforting to know that when we do purchase our next vehicle, we know that the maintenance of that vehicle and the car of the vehicle is in great hands. It was absolutely terrible . I had an appointment on 9/3 to replace some clips in my fender. I took off work and brought my vehicle in . My vehicle sat all day and they called and said they need to order the parts. They have no idea what is going on and they are very unprofessional. Definitely would never recommend to anyone. I’m sorry I bought a vehicle from there.

From the minute I walked in until I left with my car, everyone was very nice and helpful. It was a busy Saturday there and I was still made to feel as if I was the only one there. Leith was my salesman and he did a wonderful job. He wasn’t pushy at all and was very helpful in getting things done as quickly as possible. He was very friendly and even talked to my son to keep him busy while waiting on paperwork and approvals. I was very happy with my experience there and will highly recommend your dealership to my friends and family.

If I could give negative stars I would. We dropped a vehicle for a oil change and inspection Sunday night. It was scheduled for service Monday. It’s now Tuesday. We’ve called multiple times have and have been told it hasn’t even been looked at yet.I don’t understand how you can be this backed up. The fact no one has even bother to give a call to let us know the vehicle hasn’t even been looked when it was originally scheduled for service Monday is just pathetic and poor customer service.

I brought my truck in for an oil change. The rep who checked me in tried to add on other services like tire rotation. I had to tell him not, I’m here for just and oil change. I did have an appointment and still waited almost an hour and a half. After all said and down I went to leave and found a big grease spot on the driver side fender. Extremely noticeable. I asked the rep to clean it off and he did and responded, the guys in the shop don’t pay attention. Overall a ok experience.

I had reservations about going to a dealership all the Covid virus going on, however it turned out to be a pleasant experience. The dealership was totally on top of all the procedures to keep their customers safe while there. Our salesman Lorenzo was very courteous and helpful. Steve, their floor manager was extremely helpful in negotiating a deal that we could work with. There support staff was also very courteous . I would definitely recommend this dealership as the go to place for my friends to purchase or lease a new vehicle.

First time here because my check engine light came on & my regular dealership didnt have an appointment until the end of the week. And the check engine light is not something i wanted to put on hold. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. All staff members were friendly, service associate very helpful. Cochran, Monroeville or Robinson, based on my own experienceS, focuses 100% on getting peoples money, but a lot less on my/our cars! I went for an oil change, they came & told me I NEED (!!!) $500 worth of UNNECESSARY(!!!) work, including $179 for a gas conditioner treatment ($12 at part stores!!!)! HOWEVER (!), they did NOT give my car enough NECESSARY(!) attention to RE-SET THE OIL LIFE SETTING! I called the service rep, got his voicemail, left my message to call me back. He Never called me back. I called again, the secretary spoke to him, he told her to tell me to drive all those miles back there to have the re-set done, or press the button to remove the message from the dash. I went to their Monroeville location & they re-set it. I stopped going to their Monroeville Buick because EVERY TIME I went for a service & got my car back, I would drive away & have a NEW problem that did NOT exist when I took it to them. BRIAN, SVC Dept Director, thought I was exaggerating, when I had him get in my car and ride with me, he was CONVINCED! BRIAN ORDERED THEM(!) to give me a loaner car, fix mine IMMEDIATELY, & NOT CHARGE ME. They fixed it, theñ INSISTED I pay a $107 co-pay. I had to get Brian to get involved! When I drove from their lot, down the Parkway, a NEW mechanical problem emerged! I contacted Brian. That was the LAST TIME I would go there! If there were ANY other Buick repair locations, I would NEVER (!) go to ANY COCHRAN shops for anything, service, body shop, or otherwise! NOTE: A few months ago, I drove my 2014 Buick Regal to VanDeVeres Buick repair shop, IN AKRON OHIO to have It repaired, knowing it would take me 14 hours on the multiple Greyhound buses to get home, then take the GreyhoundS to go back to get my car (LITERALLY!!!). All because I refused to go to Cochran!!! The repairs were in excess of $4,000! So, NO!: I would NOT recommend Cochran to anybody, most especially not to a friend! If I had to recommend Cochran, it would be the Robinson service department, but NOT their body shop.

Have had our Chevy Silverado in their Robinson shop since last Tuesday (six days ago) and they have yet to test drive it to diagnose the problem. They can not even tell us when they will be able to test drive it. No communication, we have had to call for updates. We purchased this truck from their dealership. We will never purchase from them or use their shop again.

I was quite pleased with my state inspection emission service. They said if i wait itll likely be 1 1/2 to 2 hours then the tech said hopefully well get you out of here sooner. I dreaded going to the dealership and to my surprise, it was done and on my way in an hour and twenty minutes and it cost $68.22. Thank you to the staff,i understand why their name begins with number 1.

Bought a car with cash, walked out, leaned on the hood and the alarm went off. No one told me the alarm system was basically broken. The car had a really obvious problem that no one disclosed. This was not an honest purchase. Their customer service exists because it HAS to, not because its helpful, and theyll probably reply to this review with an email to nowhere-land.

I scheduled my appointment for my first oil change. 2 1/2 hours later still no car. The service manager informed me that the appointment was superseded by anyone who just dropped their car off earlier without an appointment. I made an appointment because the last time I had my car serviced and was called to say it was done the courtesy car never showed up even though I was informed it would be coming soon. 4 hours later I asked a neighbor to take me to pick up my car. If Cochran had just been upfront from the beginning I could have dropped my car off and lined up my friend for rides.

First of all, I purchased my Buick from Cochran in Robinson because I felt they offered the best deal. Cochran, however, is not conveniently located to my home. Not your problem but will enter into my review.This is the third time Ive brought my car to Cochran for my free state inspection and because of the length of time I travel I stay while the work is being done.My biggest complaint is the amount of time it takes to have the inspections and an oil change done (three + hours). Luckily Ive never had to have actual work done on my car, this was for the inspections/oil change alone. I recently took my wifes car to her dealers and it was finished in one hour time, and that was a drop off, we werent sitting in the dealership waiting for it.My second complaint is each time Ive brought my car here for the same service, they neglected to wash my car, even at my request. The first time the interior windshield was left a mess where the inspection stickers were applied and I had to clean it up. Both this time and the last, the oil life indicator wasnt reset. After waiting 3 hours I would think everything would be in ready to go condition.So, my point would be, between driving there, waiting for the service to be completed, having to take care of anything adversely done or neglected to be done and writing a review about my experience Ive wasted far too much time with your dealership.My half hour or so drive wouldnt be so bad if I got my car back clean, inspected, oil changed and ready to go in a reasonable amount of time.I assume these reviews are meant to improve on your service. Im afraid, so far, that hasnt been the case.
