Amazing service. I was hit whils parked on the street, and not 5 minutes later the Pons tow truck showed up and I didnt even have to call them. The driver offered to give me a lift to the rental car place(free of charge) after he dropped of my car( I couldnt get a car until the next day, but still), before I even thought to ask. They got it done in the time frame they allotted for the price of the original estimate. Truly nice people and absolutely gorgeous body work. They then let me park my rental car in their lot for several hours while I waited for my wife to finish work. I will be back, keep up the GREAT work Pons!

I come here for all my auto needs. I trust them they tell me what I actually need and what can wait. Reasonable pricing, a few times things I asked to get fixed they found a cheaper or free way to fix it for me. Find another shop that does that!!

Thought my coolant may have been leaking. Brought it in today, dropped it off (no appointment necessary), and a couple hours later, they had tested it, determined there was no leak, filled up the coolant to above max, replaced some little old bits and bobs, and kindly explained to me why the coolant was low in the first place, and I was on my way with a happy wallet. They even filled up my windshield wiper fluid to the max, didnt charge or tell me about it, just did it. They seem like they care about the cars and are friendly, cheap, quick, and knowledgeable. Ill definitely be coming back for any future car troubles.

Completely unprofessional. I got my car back with a nice scratch on the front, and I suspect that they didn’t actually change my tire, because two weeks later, the same tire was losing air again. Absolutely terrible place. Disgusting.

Everyone told me that Pons was the place to go and I didnt listen. I took my car to 3 or 4 different mechanics in Pittsburgh who all said something along the lines of Oh we want to keep it for a few days to test it out, we really think theres a lot of work that needs to be done to pass inspection. I took my car to Pons at 8am and received a call and quote just a few hours later. The car was completely finished, repaired and inspected by 3:30pm. The cost was LESS than what I was quoted (At an auto shop? Thats a first for me) and all of the employees were friendly and helpful. I believe Alex (Alec?) worked on my car and it is running great. I definitely know where I will be taking all of my vehicles in the future. Thanks Pons!!

My check engine light came on Saturday night. So on Sunday I was trying to find a place to get my car fixed. I found pons auto service on yelp! Justin the owner messaged me and told me if I get a diagnostic test it’ll be $50, but if I let them figure out what’s wrong they waive the $50 and do the mechanical work. All around to get my car fixed through pons was nothing but honesty! I just moved to Pittsburgh 2 months ago and I definitely plan on coming back to pons plus they were able to find out what was wrong with my car and the price to fix it was reasonable and fair!

Pons did great body work on my 96 4Runner. I had some rust/paint issues and a few other critique areas that needed attention. Justin & Brian took great care with each item and made smart recommendations on how to fix each item. The car looks great, I am very impressed by their service. From start to finish, I had a great experience. Lenny came to Cranberry Township and picked up my car and transported it to the shop for me. Chris called and went over the details of the repair with me and explained the process and kept in contact throughout. The work was done quickly and it was sparkling inside and out when it was returned, looking like it was new. I hope to not need their services again, but if I do, I will call Lenny and Chris for sure!

Ive had our Subaru legacy serviced by Pons twice. Once for a brake pad and oil change. Another for a Inspection and damage estimate. Both times were fantastic .They are incredibly thorough technicians . They even will take calls from home! Dedicated!! Chris and Alec are genuinely awesome guys . Very fast turn around and pretty good prices for the work provided .

They are very reasonable and accommodating here. They tell you things straight and want to get your vehicle into the best shape it can be (without making you replace all the parts too!). The older gentleman there (forgot to catch his name), who has been working auto repair for 30+ years said he came in on the weekend to finish working on my car so it would be available to pick up on Monday. He told me that he’s not comfortable giving someone their car back until he’s happy with it too. Thanks guys! Highly recommended.

We have had good experiences with Pons in the past so I took my car there for an oil change and to have a rattling sound checked out. My husband just happened to check the oil a couple of days after the oil change because I was leaving on a trip and found the oil to be way over the recommended range. He had to drain a large amount to get it to the correct amount. It may have been just a random mistake but it could have caused my car a lot of damage.

I went there just 2 days ago. I had a great experience. I just needed them to install some parts I had. I called around to many other stores and they were the only ones that didn’t try to over charge me for a simple installation. They walked me through what they were doing to my car and gave it a test drive to see if the installation was correct. They were pragmatic, honest, and polite. I highly recommend them!

Wonderful experience! We were coming in from out of town and needed an oil change within two days. Pons checked the schedule and got us an appointment for the following morning. They were super friendly, professional, and helpful. Took the car the minute I drove up, and the whole thing was done in probably 15 minutes! They were knowledgeable about the cars needs, and I felt that if I lived in town, they would definitely be my go-to guys for all car stuff!

I’ve been going to Pons for quite awhile now and have never been displeased or upset with their services and prices. I first went after an unfortunate encounter with a deer to have some body work done through my insurance and the staff was extremely helpful and quick in getting me scheduled and fixed.After a string of bad luck and being in the body shop a couple more times I decided to switch to them for my maintenance and inspection needs and experienced the same quality and quickness as the body shop work. The guys at Pons are extremely good at what they do and try to fix things before replacing them outright, saving us consumers a bit of money in the process. I’m totally sold on this place and don’t plan on going anywhere else for my auto needs. 5/5 stars.

My insurance company was slow to assess my car, but the guys at Pons were very helpful and ended up giving me more/better info than my insurance company. My Jeep received a black eye. I looked online and found Pons. Their estimate was $500 cheaper, so I had them do the work. Im very pleased with the results. The icing on the cake was that, when I picked it up, the total was even lower than the original estimate! It turns out that the repair was easier than expected, and he adjusted the price accordingly. I had probably the most horrifying experiences of my life because of work that was done by Pons Auto Services. I needed to have a front left wheel baring replaced. Took it into the shop, had fairly good customer service and the turn around time was pretty quick. The only problem is they didnt do a good job. After I got on to the highway to go on a long trip the tire was making lots of noises. I called them and they said I should be fine its probably the axial that needs to be replaced. I asked him a few times if he was sure that the front left wheel baring was replaced correctly and I was safe to drive. The gentlemen responded with yes it is safe you should be okay. You can bring the car back after your trip and well check out whats going on. On the way back from my trip my car started to lose control and the noise amplified. Mind you I was terrified, I had some confidence in his words that it will be okay. Probably in retrospect not the best thing to do. Thankfully I was able to take a exist and pull of into a gas station with my heart still pounding. The breaks also were loose and I was having a hard time stopping. to cut a long story short I was able to find a mechanic in this small town who was a true gentlemen and scholar. He came to the car took a look asked me a few questions. Had the car towed to his shop and he made the repairs the next day. I ended up taking the entire day off, paying for a hotel and endangering my life. DO NOT go to this place if you truly value your life. Tried calling them but all I get a busy tone. Very unhappy with the service and slowly recovering from this traumatic event.

My van, a 2000 Honda Odyssey, was rammed by a careless driver around December 2014. It was towed by this service immediately after and sat at the shop for 2 months, because the insurance companies involved (especially mine - AAA), were too lazy to deal with the accident. Lenny, who towed my van, was very transparent throughout, and made the whole process much, much easier than it would have been.Come February, the other partys insurance company, Allstate, refused to pay for storage for about 6 weeks, and only paid for the tow and two weeks of storage. At the end of the day, I lost a lot less money than I would have at any other place, and Im glad Pons Auto Service was there at the crash. This business has the most transparent group of individuals Ive met thus far, and although I have not had any vehicles serviced here, I have no inhibitions recommending this shop, taking the character of everyone here, especially Lenny, into consideration.In the future, I will use this spot for any and all of my servicing/vehicular needs. If I could give more than 5 start to the people here, I would. Thank you, Lenny!

I recently got into an unfortunate encounter with a telephone pole. Pons showed up at the site with the tow truck ready to go. I got my estimate from the insurance adjuster that included remanufactured and aftermarket parts. Before I had time to complain to the insurance company, I received a call from Pons telling me they thought it was BS as well and had found price matches for authentic new parts.Service was swift and transparent. Every step of the way, Chris let me know the status of my vehicle. He was very amicable and real. I felt like he was just another old buddy of mine.Several weeks after the collision, I crossed paths with an old gearhead friend of mine. I showed him my vehicle and the repairs, and he had nothing but good things to say about the job Pons did. He confirmed that all replacement parts were authentic and installed nearly to factory quality (as close as a damaged vehicle could be). Being a guy who has seen some pretty abysmal repairs, he was quite impressed with the job that Pons did. In his words, A+!In short, Id definitely recommend Pons to any of my friends whose cars require body work.

An accident is never a great experience but Pons auto body made it much less stressful. They towed me right away, dropped me at the car rental so I could get a car, and returned the rental car for me. My car looks just like it was before the accident, replacing the front bumper, radiator, and signal lights. I would highly recommend them for body work.

They were able to replace my alternator in less than a day. A bit pricey but what did I expect for an alternator?

This was my first time here with my daily driver and my second time ever getting regular maintenance done since I moved to Pittsburgh, the last place left my oil cap loose and had me leaking oil (ugh!).I asked around and was recommended Pons by a neighbor.When I called to make an appointment before a road trip they were able to fit me in before my trip. Justin even noticed my front two tires weren’t doing too well and recommended I change them before my trip (and certainly before my next inspection). I am so thankful he did this!! It was so rainy and sketchy on my trip, I was so appreciative of my new tires.When I picked the car up, I was 30 minutes late and had a dead phone. I was so thankful Justin was still there and had my car road-trip ready for me. He even mentioned that he took a look at my breaks and such while putting on the new tires and everything looked good for my trip- it was such a comfort!I would also consider Pons (at least for the service I received) affordable/ on par with most other service shops when it comes to the cost (but the costumer service and professionalism was beyond what I have experienced elsewhere in Pittsburgh.)I will be a repeat customer!
