This is the worst moving company. From start to finish it has been nothing but a nightmare. My pod was 3 weeks late delivered. All locks were broken off when it arrived(see photos). If you need any information about your move you will not get it. You can not reach anyone via phone or email. You will stay on hold for 8 hours waiting to speak to someone and no one will answer your emails. I have filed a claim with BBB. I did receive an email from a Laura who blamed me for any delay in my move. They take no responsibility for anything that happens in their company and will blame you for everything that goes wrong. I also am trying to find the form to fill out to get a partial refund and it is not on their website but I only have 14 days to fill it out from delivery. So I’m sure I will not receive the delay refund stated in my contract. I absolutely can not believe a business is allowed to operate in this way. Stay far away from this company if you are smart. You were warned.

Worst company in the world. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Communication it’s terrible it takes hundreds of phone calls and weeks just got get a live person. My boxes should have been picked up on 6/7 a week later they finally get picked up. A woman named Laura apparently is the head of long distance moving she is non existent. I was suppose to receive a call a week ago from her about My boxes still nothing. Called and sent emails directly to her today still nothing. Today 6/18 is suppose to be my delivery date of my furniture and I have no communication from smartbox. This place is a scam. They will take your money right away and then act like you are non existent. I have filed a complaint with the BBB against them and have contacted my attorney for violation of their lease agreement. I moved my entire family of 5 1800 miles away trusting a top 5 moving pod company and this is how we get treated. We will be lucky to even see our things ever again. PLEASE STAY AWAY I am telling everyone now. Look at their Facebook reviews look at their google reviews everything you see is 100% true.

What terrible customer service. You cannot make any changes to your reservations and trying to connect with somebody is impossible. They do not answer the phone or answer live chat. I am now stuck with a box that I cannot move or do anything with.

Run awayyyyyy!!! Horrible. Scheduled service and after threes days of calls, emails, and sitting on chat with zero response I cancelled as I did not trust them to show up for my mover. Let alone entrust them with my items in storage. If I had items in storage and needed to have them delivered how can I do that when it is impossible to get any communication for three days.

This is by far the worst moving pods company out theyre. DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THEM. Theyre is no real office in Arizona. Theres also no way to contact them. They say theyll call you back, then its 3 days later and still nothing. Please Please read this review and do not buy from them.

So far so good. We have two boxes. If you take the time you can get a ton in the boxes! The ordering process was very easy, these were a little less expensive than PODS, especially if you need them for a longer period of time. The order process was much easier than PODS, as well. I would definitely recommend.

We enjoy having Smart Box to store our things we dont have room for in the house and I know theyre always safe there. Not a bad price for your protection, and what nice people to deal with. I recommend them highly.

I was called on the day my boxes were to arrive and told that I would not be getting my boxes because the delivery truck broke down over the weekend. I was then told that they have no estimated date for arrival and that I would have to take it up with the local company that smart box contracts with. The local company would offer no information. I explained to smart box hat I have paid for moving labor to unload the boxes and am not able to cancel. Smartbox refused to help or refund any money. Bad choice of companies on my part. Beware, if anything goes wrong with the delivery of your boxes they are not willing to help nor do they care. They wouldnt allow me to speak to a manager or escalate my concerns. I am now waiting in an empty house, living without personal items (beds, furniture etc) for an undetermined amount of time. I paid thousands of dollars for this move and Smartbox should have a back up plan if their subcontractors cannot deliver on their contractual obligations.

This has been the worst experience with a moving/pod company ever. We ordered our box which arrived on time, however all of the door latches were broken. After calling several times, someone was suppose to come out and fix them that day, however they proceeded to stand us up and not come back out for two days. So we bought our own materials to rig the door to lock. Then I scheduled a pick up and it was missed. I called the local AZ facility and was told we were no where on the schedule, its the end of their day in 20 minutes and to call Smartbox, who I have been on hold with for over 25 minutes. We have professional photos being taken of our house tomorrow and will have a Smartbox sitting in our front yard now. I cannot get a hold of anyone and have no idea when our pick up can be rescheduled. Ive tried emailing Smartbox and the live chat, to no avail. Please pay the extra money and go with PODS.

Delivery truck broke down the day of delivery and delivered days late... Then when I was ready for pick up took the a fee weeks so come and get it and still charged me full month price two days before they picked up box.

Just got off the phone with a representative that has me hotter than a chilli pepper...let me just say NO CUSTOMER SERVICE...no emails a day ahead to let you know you are important to them and they dont want to waist your time...no phone calls...you are expected to wait ALL DAY...if you suggest that someone should have called or text or emailed you to give you a heads up...you are told basically they dont have to do that....really...listen these people suck they wont last long....great idea...to pricy...no customer service....NEXT...in addition they did not make the delivery as contracted...I did receive a call @ 6:45 from the agent for SB...he said the truck needed wasnt available ???? he needed a flatbed to deliver...??? (Does this mean they knew all along or at some point that it was not going to happen....and still wait until the end of the day to spring it on people that have been waiting all day for them???) No I will not call you...are you kidding...Jump to now...they sent the driver to pick up my unit a week early...seriously...I do not recommend this company..I would have renewed my contract another month btw...but Im done...jump forward to now...tomorrow they will be at my home to retrieve the smartbox...no email...or a quick text letting me know they are coming...or when...they just show up...and dont complain to the driver...they only drive...honestly I glad its over..The drivers seem to be nice
