I rent a small trailer from this location 2-3 times a month for our dirt bike riding needs. The owner who also works there is friendly and engaging as are the current staff. Yes Ive read the bad reviews which crucify then for taking a while to get the vehicle ready or sometimes checked in. Could it be faster I suppose but accept the fact that they have an immense amount of volume at this location and that the process of renting a truck and answering all of the questions that come with it, cleaning vehicles, maintenance on-the-fly, etc - its not just as easy as heres your keys. That all said, my 4-star rating isnt a 5-star rating due to the time it takes only because I cannot award 1/2 a star.Good people here, short-staffed like so many places now as the country is still lacking employees who want to work. But they do a solid job overall so give them a break and a bit of understanding.

The service here was excellent! Dawn is super competent and friendly and I was really glad I chose to rent my truck from here - all their staff are friendly and service-oriented - highly recommended!

The customer service at 19th Ave and Bell is absolutely the best. Each person I spoke to; Matt, Dawn, Keith and others were friendly, kind, understanding and professional. I had a flat tire that was fixed as soon as possible and I didnt have to be with the vehicle. I rented the truck for 2 days, but I was rained out one day. I was able to keep it for a third day and was not charged for that day. I really appreciate all their help and definitely recommend them for all your uhaul needs.

This company is a joke, the people working there dont have a clue, trying to rent from them was a huge process that included sitting for an hour while every other customer was helped. Then we get the trailer home and the door completely falls off. I was going to be transporting a tortoise to a rescue in california, I was told to call road side assistance, callroadside assistance they could not get another trailer to us so now my plans had to be canceledroadside a

Dawn makes this location popular. The location of 19th Ave & Bell Rd I dont like but Ill do it to have the above and beyond service... Dawn gives her all and then some I dont care what day it is she has that bubbly consistent attitude. Know she can accomplish whatever she put her mind to.Dawn would be an asset to any company she works for. This gal runs around doing everything even under vehicles, making sure everyone gets what they need accomplisheI surely hope U-haul really appreciates her because her customers definitely do!!!

The guy in charge - I think, Keith - was clearly all over the place helping out and I just felt like I was in the past as far as their courtesy and professionalism. This place is run like an old fashioned customer service oriented shop. Very kind and helpful. I recommend them.

I made a reservation today for june 11th to the 13th. 2 days local. I was told due to short staff i cant rent for 2 days over a weekend i can only have 1 day. Not due to vehicle availabilty! I signed up for self pick up and drop off! Makes no sence so i called Penski got the days i need times i need at a comparable price without the drama! I will not be going to UHaul for my moving needs again!

The entrance through Hell is wide and convenient. All equipment available is visible from the street. Came to pick up a 15 truck. Truck was brought up to the office quickly, however, the time it took to process the paperwork was too long. I could have been taken my brothers in law couch out of his crazy ex girlfriend studio quicker. Now, gotta wait till she gets out again

I had one of their trucks for 3 days and they came a took it back with everything I own in the back and continued to charge me the daily fee even tho I Dont have the truck anymore. This place is a rip off and they are just a bunch of thieves who only care about money, they Dont care about their customers.

This place is horrible. It has been an 8 hour saga just to get a tow hitch installed that should have only taken 1.5 hours. This started 1 week ago with scheduling an installation of my hitch. I called this morning to verify the location of my appointment, only to find out that the request had never been submitted. I was then told that I could schedule for a 1/2 hour after my original appointment at the 67th and Bell location. 10 minutes later, I get a call stating that it needs to be pushed back 3 hours. When I showed up at noon, that location couldnt find me. The appointment had actually been submitted to the 19th Avenue and Bell location instead. I tried to call the new location, was out on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. When I got there 30 minutes later, they had 2 people working and we stood in line for 30 minutes. Then they again pushed me back another 40 minutes. We then walked half a mile in 115 degrees to Walmart with our 2 year old (cause we had to find a way to entertain him) and walked around for another 2 hours. When we got back, we waited another 20 minutes before the installer told us that it would be yet another 30 minutes. If you plan to do a hitch install with Uhaul, apparently you should plan to spend your entire day dealing with them. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!..... We now just got home and found our wiring still sitting in the back of the truck. Called Uhaul who now says we have to go back to on that same location. Apparently, even though I repeatedly told them that we needed wiring installed too, the manager/installer did not see it on our reservation. AGAIN HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Dawn is absolutely AMAZING! The whole staff was wonderful, but Dawn was the person who dealt with our issue. It couldnt be resolved the way we had hoped, but it certainly wasn’t for her lack of trying. She spent hours trying to work something out for us, I truthfully can’t think of another time I felt with such wonderful customer service. She’s an absolute gem!

Propane is not their bread and butter, but when employees say things like theyll be right out, they usually do. Not today. 10 minutes and nothing, so I rang the bell again. Came out and said they are really busy at the counter, but are on their way...not so much. If propane wasnt my priority I would have moved on...twenty minutes and I just proceeded to keep ringing the bell...they just do not seem to care.

All customers had to wait at least 30 minutes for only one staff to serve. Terrible service.

I LOVE this UHaul location because of the amazing staff. Keith and Dana are so fun and kind! They are always keeping good spirits and its infectious. As long as the truck I need is available here, I will ALWAYS rent from 19th ave & Bell because of them. UHaul is a lucky company with such representatives 😊😊

Pretty straightforward process! We went down there one day to check out what size truck we’d need and dealt with a young guy that unfortunately made it seem like we were a hindrance to his day and barely spoke to us unless we repeated our questions. Didn’t catch his name. Kieth, however, who wasn’t helping us directly but was still able to give us some awesome insight was helpful. Went back the following day to pick up our reserved truck and trailer and Ethan helped us. Was a breath of fresh air, really. Answered our questions before we had to ask them! And he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to chat with!

I went to Uhaul today, along with my 2 year old. I bought 3 wardrobe boxes and packing paper. It was way too much to carry along with a toddler. The owner was nice enough to carry the boxes out to my car while I carried my toddler. The service was excellent. It was so nice to not have to worry about trying to carry all the boxes and manage a toddler ( busy road right at the Uhaul) the service was prompt, the prices were less than I expected and the owner was so friendly!!!

Daniel yingling was especially helpful but so were the other staff. Im sure with no lack of inconvenience he had a hitch brought to his location and had it installed the same day(hitch only) and within an hour. Excellent service.

Owner is rude and could use somecusyomer service skills. When we were unable to locate the truck, went inside an asked and he dismissed us with an out there. When we asked again where exactly on the lot, he repeated, out there. Also, the rented truck (even tho only brand new with 11k mi) REEKED of cigarette smoke. We had to take it home and febreeze the truck just so we could drive it around and not get headaches.

I had gone in with my mom and a lady by the name of Taylor helped us, from the begging she was absolutely rude and horrible. She ruined my entire experience with my first move. She was more involved with her phone than us as customers. When I tried to ask for a manager she continued to say the manger wasn’t available just all around a horrible experience I wish we had gone somewhere else I absolutely do not recommend this location.

Well I received a quote that was alot more then I was hoping for. I spoke with Brian the general manager who was so amazing and got me a truck and trailer for alot less then a trailer and hitch. When it came to the day I needed to pick up the truck and dolly for my car Keith was so great and helped me so much the staff at this location are amazing and I would def send people their way

I recently had to move some furniture. I have a receiver hitch on my vehicle, but have never used it. Came to this location, was helped by friendly staff, bought a wiring adapter, rented a hitch and got a trailer, in less than 20 minutes. Upon my return, the nice gentleman who was there got the trailer unhooked, wiring adapter off, and receipt sent to my email in box in less than five minutes. Great pricing and service, lots of selection. Thanks U Haul!

Holy cow....the equipment is great and the shop is great but the staff is brutal! Foul language, hollering at people to move their cars after nobody directed them in the first place, misguiding us and having us drive around twice within the facility with our trailer attached. If u need a uhaul be prepared for a little verbal abuse and a side show!

Ive seldom had as much difficulty doing business with a going concern as this Uhaul. Theyve been fumbling my order for a hitch ball and wiring harness for a 2017 Civic for two weeks. They just called to say that the appointment had been deleted in their system.

The guy that appeared to be the manager was nice enough but the fat kid that helped us had a terrible attitude! When I turned in the truck I stood for 15min waiting to be helped. No one came out. When I went in to find someone that kid was sitting on his ass playing on his phone. Then he acted all kissed off that he had to come help me. Piss poor at best. That kid needs to be fired!!

This place could make a lot more business sales!Every single time I try to do business with this place, nobody picks up the phone, if you go in there it will take forever just to see someone for sales help. If the owner or supervisor see this,Send someone in this location undercover and see what type of busses you’re losing!

Horrible experience this time at this uhaul store! Made me sweep out the hay that an other driver left in there. Patrick the GM assuring he is there every time they clean them, well not this time!! He had to watch the video where they did not sweep the truck !!! The stuff I hauled in the truck took half the dang hay out of there already! My error was to not call or take pictures when I got it. Now the gas !! They told me add 5 more gallons of gas, when I had brought the truck back at where I took it at. 5 gallons more made it full tank and i did not take that truck full tank ! This is so un fair Uhaul!!! This just makes us all think we cannot trust uhaul. What of there was more than hay!!!

Theyre fast, friendly and always have a lot of stock because theyre a big location. Never had an issue and Ive rented here for years. Just a few days ago when I rented a trailer for the day, they helped me change the fuses that burned-out, which were for my hitch lights...You center the facility from Bell Road as well as 19 Avenue

Ive used Uhaul many times, however, this location is sketchy. I was charged multiple times for another person contract. Not sure why my card was put on someone elses account. I was told I would receive a refund and Mason (the manager) said he realized the error and fixed everything. I called multiple times to see if the refund was in process for its been well over a week. No one has a clue about anything Im saying nor does anyone get back to me. Not to mention, it took about 5-6 times of calling before someone finally picked up. I disputed the charge because I fear my personal information with this company is now at risk. Will never go back to this location.

If i could of gave no stars i would of. The owner Patrick Mclaughlin helped me at the counter. He was so rude i couldnt even believe it. I had to ask him if he was alright he was treating me so poorly i couldnt understand why. I am the auturized user on my husbands account from a storage that we have had over a year. My husband is unable to attend the belongings so i had to step in. I mean isnt that the reason why they have other people on the account. First he made me keep guessing the stoage number untill i said cant you look it up by his name then he did. And replied he has the gate key, that i couldnt get in with out it. I continued to tell him my husband has the key and i cant get it from him. I called once and the lady said to come in and she would give me the code. You would think the owner would know how to handle this. He continued to be rude saying if i damage ond the storage he would charge me. I cant not believe this guy.

Our truck was not there when it was suppose to be. We had to drive across town to get it. However the second location was very accommodating and made our day start a lil better. Thank you U-Haul as a whole.

Worst experience ever!!! Stopped there on 11/8 for propane for my rv. As soon I got there the young woman with long hair behind the counter told me : I hope you not here for propane because I hate to fill rv’s ! When I said yes, yes threw her face on the counter acting like she was annoyed. Then she proceeded to tell me that they are short of staff and filling rvs is bothering her. After she told me that trucks were in my way and might not be able to get in the back. I told her that I can squeeze it in. She told me then that if I hit one of them trucks I will be held responsible to pay for the repairs. We went outside, she spoke to a guy and clearly was upset that she had to do it. She came back to my rv telling me that they were out of propane. Clearly she was lying. I asked her if she can move one of the truck to let me out, she told me that she will herself drive my rv out of the parking lot! When I said no, she gave me the attitude. She finally moved the truck that was in my way not without complaining and talking in her breath. I am asking my fellow RVers to ban that place!!!!

Not only did I have a terrible online experience, but getting into the store to get it all fixed was even worse. Waited 30 mins to even speak to someone. Angela needs to go, zero professionalism. I also thought Keith the owner was pretty rude to a gentleman who found someones ID and brought it to the desk we looked at him like what do you want me to do with it. He was pretty condescending to a few different guests. Then after being rude and condescending, then hed change his tone and be nice. It all just seemed really poorly ran and Angela kept arguing with him about his radio on. They did apologize for being down people after waiting 15 mins but its like really? I wont be returning to this location.

I rented a 15truck for 2hrs and was charged $100. in the parking lot I set the A-trip odometer to (0) and went directly to my destination and back. the total milage on the A-trip was 38.1miles, but when Micheal came out to inspect the truck he said the total milage was 55miles according to his calculations. my Google GPS backed up my trip as 16 miles there and back. I was not compensated. They up grade you with nonsense insurance and extras. I would not recommend or go back here and I was unhappy.also I only went there for a ten foot truck, but the 10ft doesnt have ramps so they rented me the larger truck at and additional cost. Just really poor service.
