Dr. Ochoa solved a longtime problem in about five seconds that had eluded my previous optometrists for years. He has a patient for life (I came here because my wife had a similarly positive experience last week). The front office staff were great to work with - very friendly - but honestly, even if that wasn’t true, I’d still come back for Dr. Ochoa.
The front lady that I talked to was really nice she made me feel welcomed and comfortable sense it was my first time visit.. but the other lady wasn’t as friendly.They had a variety of cute frames it Is a little pricy but they have a buy one get one free so that I liked. Overall it was a nice and I would recommend them.
I really like the optometrist at this location. With the exception of a few, the office crew is very friendly. This is actually the first Vision store that I have found the correct prescription for my eyes. I like that they offer coupons as well. I used all my insurance on contacts, so it was nice to get a large percentage taken off for glasses.
This office definitely values their patients time and health safety. The wait was short to get an appointment and when I got to the office they were ready for me. The optometrist was personable and professional and provided a pair of contact lenses to try out for a week before I spend any additional money ordering. I am a faithful customer for life!
Its a nice enough place. Its a pretty standard store. Average. I dont think theyre really focused on user experience or having contemporary frames or anything like that.I came for an eye exam, it went pretty smooth, and I got the prescription and I left. The doctor was a little awkward but nothing wrong with that.Nothing standout. Nothing too detracting.PS you have to go into the mall to get to the store. They have a door that opens up from the outside but it is temporarily or permanently blocked from entering or exiting.
Clean environment. Friendly receptioniststaff. The optometrist was knowledgeable and very helpful. There were three of us, instead of making us wait they took me, and my two daughters back to back. When my youngest kept trying to read her letters and having to redo the eye exam they were patient with her. They clearly explained our price range with insurance. Plus realizing there was a mistake with a pricing issue, the staff caught it right away and immediately issued a refund. Thats impressive.
Last year we went to Visionworks and received excellent service. The doctor explained everything and was friendly. The staff was friendly. This year was the exact opposite. When we walked in we werent greeted. There was a woman at the reception desk with purple hair who was very rude. I was about to sign in and she finally spoke to me in a rude tone stating you dont need to sign in! I said ok she then says in that same rude and annoyed tone what are the names! At that point I asked her if she had an attitude or what the issue was she just stared at me. I gave her our names. The doctor was still friendly but he seemed to rush through our visits and they werent even busy. He did not discuss my childrens results with me and I am not 100% confident with the prescriptions he gave us. The process to pick glasses and pay was very long and delayed. During this time two young ladies that were helping me were the only reason I didnt give 1 star. I noticed the doctor chatting with one of the other staff members so I asked him about my kids results and any recommendations he has. Visionworks puts a survey website and a phone number on the receipt to call if you are not happy; but, neither of them work. This was our last visit to this location. We wont be returning.
The only issue is its a little pricey. Maybe offering a annual vision plan would be nice. Overall service was excellent
This was a wonderful experience! Everyone there was pleasant, professional and at the same time very personable. The eye doctor was awesome... he said he was a floater for now. The girl doing the other testing was so sweet. And when I went in the back to pay for the glasses, the conversation was fun, he knew the benefits of my insurance and there was no stress involved! Quite the opposite from the Avondale store of which I will never go back! Visionworks Christown was awesome!!!

Scheduled an appointment online, when I first arrived the front ladies just made it so awkward and don’t make you feel welcomed. No energy when engaging with them. Doctor was fast and wonderful to provide my new prescription & also the gentleman that helped me check out my glasses was also very nice & welcoming. Days later, I get a text that my glasses are ready for pick up. Tried calling this location 4 times today and it just plays some hold music & then hangs up!! Very inconvenient for someone who has questions.
The entire staff was very helpful. Very clean office. Great choices on glasses and sunglasses.The doctor was very informative and I learned new things that other places never told me about.I would love to go back and use them only my new insurance doesnt cover them. This was the best office I have used in 50 years .
Today I went in for an adjustment for my glasses. They were a little bent and and widened out. Bernard P. was the worker who helped me. He was wonderful. He was very attentive and welcomed me as soon as I got there. While helping me he was engaging and was dedicated to ensure that my glasses fit well and that I was satisfied with how they framed my face. Also making sure I felt comfortable with them on. Due to him they fit better than they did when I bought the glasses. I definitely plan on coming back to this store!
I was very please with my experience. The exam was swift and simple. The DR explained why my current glasses were giving me the issues they were and with the new script I am confident I will no longer have headaches.As far as buying my glasses I like the selection available. They had a range of prices starting at $70 and up to $200. They were all very helpful and friendly. I was able to get a 2nd pair 50% off even with using my vision insurance! Amazing deal!!I will definitely continue to come back.
First time going to Visionworks Christown Spectrum AZ. Number one they care about being safe checking your temp on arrival, social distancing and cleaning equipment after each patient. The place is super clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The Eye Doctor was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all questions. I do recommend this place. Thank you Visionworks.
Do not go to this location! Customer service is horrible! I have been transfered to voice-mail hung up on and disrespected. Alexa answering the phone has been rude repeatedly. I was guaranteed my glasses by the second. Today is the fourth and I was given the response they arent sure what happened but the best hope is they might have an update around the sixth. Nothing in that helps. I work in a hospital and need to see to help our patients. This does not help.
They didn’t let me know if my contacts were mailed or supposed to be in store, turns out they were in my mailbox for over a week in summer time! They also never answer the phone and when you let them know they act rude about it. Wanted to try some place new but I Should’ve just kept going to America’s best!
I was very happy with my experience at Visionworks. I especially liked it that they took our temperatures as soon as we walked in and everything was nice and clean. The lady that did the pre exam was very nice and kind. The eye doctor was very professional and knowledgeable.. They had a lot of frames to choose from and how they keep them cleaning is very helpful. They were also able to get me a good price on my glasses because of the insurance I have from VSP. My husband has an eye appointment next Tuesday as well

I was really uncomfortable in the retail space. The first man helping me was talking about how he wished he could “smell the bacon” that we could all smell cooking in the food court. Which was not comforting since loss of smell is a sign of Covid. Then the guy who came to take over had his mask hanging below his nose. I asked him to fix it and he said it kept sagging... after repeatedly seeing it drop within minutes. I left. The Dr. office protocol was good and then the retail team wasn’t taking it seriously. Now I’m stuck with no glasses because I didn’t feel safe in their store.

The Optometrist was friendly, prompt, thorough and explained everything very well for the average layman. The optician was knowledgeable, experienced and very helpful in recommending what would be best for my situation. Highly recommended!
The optometrist was very knowledgeable, the staff was nice. I dont think the prescription lenses was worth the price. It wasnt even Hi-Index 1.67 like Im used to getting with the price I paid for, not getting glasses here anymore maybe contacts. Will come again for the optometrist, 5/5 on my eye exam.
Have had many glasses. The last two sets from Visionworks have been far superior than any that Ive had before. Will never go anywhere else!
I would not recommend. I didn’t even need to go in to the office to make that choice. I scheduled an appointment online and took time off work to go. They called me about 20 minutes before my appointment (I was already heading there) to cancel. They blamed the website for double booking appointments but they were booked out for days so I’m guessing they made the mistake of taking too many clients and not being able to handle the work load. I was driving so didn’t notice the call but listened to the voicemail letting me know. I tried to call back to see what I can do but waited on hold for over 15 minutes before I finally gave up. I was able to schedule a same day appointment with a better company so I guess it worked in my favor.
I had the best experience today at this location. I had a gentlemen named Bernard that helped choose the perfect pair of glasses for me. He was so professional and friendly and really broke down the sizing of the frames to me. He really took his time and picked options out for me because I was having a hard time doing it myself. He even had to deal with a different customer that was rude to him and he handle the situation so politely and professional. I just want to say thank you so much, your customer service was top notch and vision works is so lucky to have him as an employee.

Both my husband and I had our appointment 30 mins apart and we were in and out! Office staff and doctor were amazing and so friendly.
Doctor was ok and did same day appointment however its been over two weeks and I still havent got my contacts. When I call they say they were delivered but they cant find them. So from the day of my actual appointment and now trying to locate where they put my contacts it has been about a month process. Very disappointed. First call gentleman said contacts where delivered but he cant find them. He was going to look more and call me back. No call. Few hours later I call again stephanie seemed to be upset she had to do her job. Rudely put me on hold for about 15 minutes and never returned to the call. So I Hung up called again she picked up and said please hold again but transferred me to someone else. He then explains they cant find my contacts that they will give me a free trial. Which is nice and a obvious solution considering its their fault my prescription isnt there. But its not the colored contacts that I paid and have been waiting for. Ive never had such a issue with any other company before. I most definitely will not return here for refills (picture is proof of the time waiting on hold)
Not sure if the phone number actually rings the location or not. The phone system disconnects users, and the message directing users to the website is especially annoying. We have been to this physical location, and did not notice the phones continuously ringing, or operators being overwhelmed with phone calls as the hold experience would indicate.

The salesmen in sunglass area were nice but need to have more knowledge of coverage. We almost lost 100plus dollars for buying glasses which were covered under insurance and were free from eyeconic online store of VSP!

She was no-pressure sales, listened to my style & colour preferences, and was SUPER friendly!My second time at this location & I will continue going to this store because of the quality of service.
He was awesome. Had problems with my contacts the texture wasnt right in the contact lens was uncomfortable, wasnt able to see the letters while wearing my contacts just a lot of issues he went ahead and took care of all that. He took the time to talk about my contacts.

I went here kind of last minute, they made room for me to get my exam done. I loved the doctor and the staff was extremely friendly. I didnt really understand my benefits too much but then Michael helped me and told me what my allowances were and helped me pick my glasses which I loved. Got my glasses two weeks later. I recommend Visionworks for anyone who is needing an eye exam or even some new glasses. Great place.

The Optometrist that I saw was super informative & Funny. He made me feel as if I was visiting a good friend not a just an eye Doctor. My experience was excellent. The staff was kind and service was quick! Great prices too- I think I found a great fit for myself and my family.

Great place for an eye exam. Was able to schedule online. Completed most of the paperwork online though an email link. So was ready to go when I arrived on site.
The staff was very courteous and helped me through the process of my exam. Dr. Drabinsky was caring and put me at ease explaining the examination and walking me through the process, making everything so seamless. He was very professional, easy to talk to and answered all my questions. His recommendations helped me immensely.

If I could give them a 0, I most definitely would. Had two appoinments at 10:00am and 10:15am today and was having a hard time looking for frames I liked, since I thought they carried Kate Spade at this location. We still had paperwork to fill out being new patients which I completely understood. At 10:04am the male worker comes up to us and in a very rude demeanor while raising his voice he stated, You need to hurry up and do your paperwork now. Therefore, we went ahead and left taking our business elsewhere.

They go above and beyond with their service. I just moved here from San Antonio and the service here is leaps and bounds better. Kaelyn went the extra mile to insure I was set up to get my new sunglasses last minute. They couldnt accommodate my needs at this site so she set me up away another after my eye exam. I highly recommend!!!

Staff were great and helpful. The hours are what working/productive people need. Good prices. They pick-up the phone quickly. Walk-ins as well. My only complaint is that its corporate, which I despise. I didnt quite feel the high pressure sales that the other reviews are complaining about. I enjoyed my time.
I had accidentally went to the wrong location but when I arrived instead of letting me walk away they checked and offered the next available appointment. I ended up only waiting 30 minutes. I believe I seen Dr Hale and wasn’t sure if I needed the pupil dilation exam since I’ve never had glasses before. Instead of taking advantage of a clueless and concerned patient he did the normal eye exam and said he actually had seen everything he needed too. When he could have just billed me extra for an unnecessary exam. The staff was all super friendly and patient. My ONLY CONCERN is my glasses taking a long time to be made I went in on the February 27th and they say they won’t be ready until March 12th. The woman beside me said it had taken 3 weeks. But because they had extra adjustments

Hands down the best eye glasses experience I have had. I came in as a walk in and was able to be seen very quickly, less than a 30min wait. The doctor made me feel comfortable and asked questions to make sure my prescription was 100% accurate. While checking out frames I was helped by the general manager Joe who was halarious if you are partial to dry humor. He found a pair of frames for me that I liked even better than the ones I chose for myself. He also helped me work out some issues with my insurance, leaving me with a deal I was more than happy to take. Would recommend this location to anyone and I will certainly be coming back

I had an overall great experience, all of my issues were addressed with great care; I hate that air puffy thing and the girl who helped me, talked me through the whole thing without it bothering me like it usually does. The doctor who did the exam was great and listened to every concern of mine and helped me find a better fitting contact lens. My previous experiences at other places hasnt been that great, I always felt like I was rushed and they didnt care to listen to what I was saying, but Visionworks made the whole experience wonderful. Do not come here Run. They took my money. Joe the manager called for me to pick up contacts. I waited 4 hrs. They refused to give me the free trials contacts. The doctor attacked my daughter. The police is now involved for the assault on a minor on the Doctor. Visionworks refused to give me anything but assaulted my kid. I had paid in full weeks ahead. Hr told me that they would take care of it and I wasted 4 hrs at the store got nothing but my kid assaulted by the Doctor. Visionworks puts paying customers and theyre families in danger and says our legal department will call u. We dont know when..Dont call us*Hr* She still has no contacts.Honestly Go with a company that cares that you can see. All Visionworks cares about is money. $400 for 1 pair of glasses with insurance is ridiculous. I paid that much and look how they treated me and my kid.
Gotta say Im very happy with the people working at this location called Friday to make an appointment. They saw me the same day and just picked up my glasses today on Monday. Fast and the Dr and staff are very friendly and dont rush you or push to hard about up sales. Will definitely be back.
