Honestly, I loved how easy it was for my first time buying a car. They definitely helped me get into my dream car and although I was there for a LONG time, it was mostly me being indecisive. They made me feel fine, knew how to calm my anxiety when the numbers werent right and even service has been exceptional because I thought I was having a glitch in the entertainment center and they checked it in a timely manner to make sure everything was right.

Terrible experience here, go to any other dealership in the valley. I needed a replacement key for my car (lost mine) and they were outstandingly inefficient and unhelpful. First of all, I’ve been here a few years ago to get a key for the same vehicle and they didn’t have any of my information saved and needed me to prove once again that I own the vehicle. The last time I went the new key only cost $20, this time it was over $50??? They hassled me because of their lack of information and service history - You would think they save for customers. Obviously my car registration is INSIDE THE VEHICLE and they asked for proof. How would I get this if I’m coming to the dealership FOR A KEY??? I luckily had my registration email and sent it to the guy helping me at his request multiple times, he kept saying he never got it. Finally I was able to find a photo of my registration and then he said he couldn’t accept that. Ask yourself, what other options would I have to present my registration if it is inside my vehicle that I am coming to get a new key for. After over 2 hours here, the manager was able to “approve” my photo proof. Thankfully I got my key and got out of there. I wouldn’t waste any more of my time at this place if it was the last option.

Purchased a car several years ago. I then started receiving 5+ phone calls over the course of 48 hours every couple weeks wanting to buy the car back and sell us a newer pricier version. Would politely say no thank you, but still received calls. Some were harassment calls, demanding I trade in our car for a pricier one.I would block the numbers, but then noticed them using other phone numbers to call wanting me to trade in the older car. I asked for them to remove my phone number from their directory so as to not call again. They repeatedly said they would not; finally about a month ago the male voice I spoke to apologized and said he would remove it. So what happens yesterday? Two phone calls within minutes of each other from this dealership.The level of harassment and constant calling of their customers is pathetic and embarrassing. This dealership may think that by constantly bombarding me with phone calls requesting I trade in the car I purchased several years ago and buy a new one from them that eventually I will just give in and do so. What they dont realize is that by doing this business practice it has not only caused me to not want to engage in another sale with them, but I have been able to talk to several friends/relatives/neighbors/coworkers about the experience and they have chosen to not do business with them. I know for a fact that two of them were going to make a purchase from this dealership on cars between 30-40k in price and instead went elsewhere.So their harassment of me has resulted in a financial loss of a guaranteed 60-80k, and maybe more from other people as word gets around. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
I am very please with the purchase of my new vehicle. My sales person was exceptional. He even sent me a thank you card congratulating on my new job, hair do, and vehicle. That made feel more important than just car sale.

The employees were not able to explain why the price of the vehicle is hyped up. The breakdown of the overall price was not explained clearly. The price quoted was not even close to what was mentioned on the website. The customer service given by the sales representative was welcoming but the price quoted was really hyped than the market average.
I have been having my cars serviced at Camelback Hyundai for over seven years now. I have always had amazing service. I recently had to have an issue resolved with my Elantra and I met Paul my service advisor for the first time. Paul took the time to listen to my concerns. He was responsive and reached out with the diagnosis and took time to answer all of my questions. Paul helped me to better understand what was needed and the next steps. He also worked with Hyundai to facilitate some warranty coverage that I did not realize I could access. After years and years of negative experience with vehicle service centers I can say that the last seven years has been the most amazing level of service and customer support. On top of the consistent support I have been receiving for the last seven years, Paul took it to the next level. I plan on purchasing my next vehicle at Camelback Hyundai and until then I will keep my business with Paul and the service center.
The only vehicle I would like Hyundai to make is a mini van or larger. With a lower bed and easier to step into instead of climbing up. Removable seats that swivel.
Had a great experience at this dealer working with Ahmad. I went in needing a new vehicle as my old one was on its last legs but I didnt know what I wanted yet. Ahmed did a great job of engaging and probing through conversation to find what would work best for me. the 2022 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue caught my eye from the nice grey color I hadnt seen before (now Im seeing it and its variants all over the place since its such a nice color) and the sleek outer design. The internal design was something I enjoyed as well, and the drive was great. Recently took the car up to Flagstaff and it handled the mountains just fine.Even with my eye caught on that Elantra, Ahmad wanted to make sure I explored all my options (both cheaper and more expensive) to make sure I made a decision Id be happy with and wouldnt regret later. While I still lended up going with the Elantra, Im glad he made sure we looked at other options to help me become sure in my choice.The safety features that came standard are awesome. Ive never had a vehicle with this much tech, but its easy to use and intuitively designed.Due to the safety features the cost increase to my insurance, going from the cheapest liability on my old car to good full coverage for the new one, was negligible and I was pleasantly surprised.They offer a bunch of free service to go with the purchase as well, which helped make me feel a more secure since Ive never had a hybrid nor never had such a new vehicle.If you are looking for a new vehicle, make sure to give these guys a visit and make sure to ask for Ahmad! (Though everyone there seemed great and helpful)
Sends junk mail to people who did not give their information to this company. Instead of paying for leads and hassling people through their mailbox please reinvest in the company and employees. This marketing style reflects incredibly poorly upon this location.
Ricky Williams always goes above and beyond customer service. He works in the service Dept at camelback Hyundai. He deserves a raise and deserves to be recognized, He seems to know what my car needs when I come in for service and meets our financial needs.
Worst car buying experience ever. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2019 Kona. First, the price they quoted me for the car was $3,000 higher than the price on their website. The sales person told me the website price included a deal but they would match that price for me but in the end, they still ended up writing up the sales contract for an amount that was higher than the website price I agreed to.The finance guy, Carlos, was completely unprofessional and wasnt paying attention to what he was doing. He sold me a protection plan that the vehicle wasnt eligible for and then nagged me by phone and text to come in and sign additional paperwork.Ive made several calls to the dealership asking to speak to a manager but no one ever calls me back.Save yourself some money and a headache - just go to a different Hyundai dealership.

Advertised price for used Hyundai $9500,,,, became $12, 500 when we showed up.... car had an amazing amount of body / paint damage. Interior looked like a dog scratched up all the door panels . When we asked what they intended to do about the body damage, we were told nothing.... unless we wanted to pay extra for a paint job. !!..Come to find out that they used a stock photo of a NEW Hyundai from Google for their ad... Sawyer Liao ( sales manager) is the epitome of a bad used car salesman... too many lies to mention here... when we walked away, we received very unprofessional emails ...
I was scammed at this store and even worse it was by the management. I made a deal and put down a deposit for a 2021 venue and they sold the car to someone else because the asking price was higher than our original deal. This was after several talks about when we were going to pick up the car and weeks after handing over the deposit (the car came a few weeks later but earlier than we expected). Naim and other management are rude and have their own interests - do not trust them when they speak about getting you a good deal or rapport. This kind of thing is unheard of at other dealerships - Believe me, I actually asked several in the area. It is a horrible market for sure, but doesn’t give car dealerships the right to back out of deals or be dishonest. Even worse they tried to push another car from their inventory on me after betraying trust. When I called the accounting department at Hyundai to get my deposit back, even they were shocked. I advise to avoid this place for auto sales - there are dozens of more reputable dealerships in the Phoenix area.
Theyre pretty much the greatest cheating dealership in Phoenix. I had the misfortune of visiting them once and it was a nightmare of a time for me when I was at the Camelback Hyundai. When I say that I felt threatened at the dealership every single word of the statement is 110% true. I was at the dealership for approximately 5 hours and at the end of it all they never give me the car at the price promised and I had to leave in utter disgust. To anyone who is reading this I would strongly strongly urge you to stay away from this dealership at all costs.
Bought a 2021 Kona from company first off was told one thing at sales desk got back to finance and was treated really rudely. I understand people have bad days guess we caught our guy on his .. then got the car home and under a month my car breaks down and has been in the shop since I have taken it in Hyundai has not once called me to let me know what’s going on so I called them in the service area to check on the findings myself. I’m really sad because I had such high hopes for my purchase but was sold a lemon
A month ago my car was at this dealership being repaired on from an accident. Prior to this, I received a notice for a recall, so I requested this would be taken care of while the car was being repaired on, and was told it will be taken care of. One month later, my car is stranded in a parking lot due to it not turning on from a “check hev hybrid system” notification. After spending a week at a new dealership in Scottsdale (because camelback doesn’t have a super tech that can work on hybrids for some reason), they tell me the problem is due to a recall that has not been taken care of. Be wary when using this service.

This was my first time here. I came to get a oil change. My service person was Paul. He was really nice to me. Welcomed me, He showed me what needed to be done. Thank God i came in🙏. I needed to get some warrantee coverage for my vehicle. I got there at 8a.m.. I asked Paul if he could have someone come and talked to me while i was waiting. He did. But he had to call 3xs😳. Someone finally came and talked to me. This guy was from i believe finance department. Dont get me wrong. He was very informative, but too much in a hurry🙄. But Ill just keep him in my prayers🙏. But other than that. Great job team members. Oh by the way there were other younger guys who made sure that i was being seen. And offered water or coffee.!!!! Very polite and and eager to work and made sure everyone there were took an care of.😊🤗
Ordered a part from kiapartsaccessories.com (the website address is for this Hyundai dealer and I was charged by Hyundai). The part was ordered on 7/19. After a week had passed with no update I emailed them which they ignored. My second email was answered on 7/27 saying the part needed to be ordered and would be sent out within a couple of days. One week after that email on 8/3 I sent a third email which they have yet to respond to.Their website says out of stock items will take 2-4 days before before shipped out to the customer. I’ve been waiting almost 3 weeks with one response to my 4 emails. Buy your parts anywhere else but here.
I was a future client calling because I had visit the dealership looking to acquire 3 Konas under my business name. I called in today and Nasis identified himself as a manager, but I have never been treated so rudely on a call. I understand some times we trigger people into reacting certain way, but I fail to understand and figure out where the trigger was as this individual exploded 5 seconds into the call.
These people blatantly told me they overcharge people who dont know about the online price. This deal was the best they said they could do after me talking them down from a $31,000 out the door price. I found the exact car (vin matched) advertised online for less. They refused to honor the online price. Its crazy what you uncover when youre informed.
The best, great service, never have to wait more than a few minutes. Paul is an excellent service writer, always explains to me what all is going on, prices arent that bad either. Great job, I highly recommend their service department, Thank You Camelback Hyundai 😄😄

Unless you want solicitation phone calls 1-2 times a week, avoid this dealership.I got an oil change in Feb, and since then I have received SEVEN calls from Camelback Hyundai trying to sell me another car or come in for services I dont need. The first week I got a call at 7:30pm on Friday night. I told them to not solicit me again. After the second salesman called me a couple days later, I asked to speak to a manager. Troy said he would put my number on the do-not-call list (I never consented to solicitation calls to begin with). Since then, I have received more calls even though I spoke to a second manager about this problem. I just got a phone call from a woman with a rooster crowing loudly in the background trying to tell me I am in dire need of a service that I already declined and they will give me a discount if I book now. I hung up on her and called the dealership and spoke to a woman who claims she is putting me on the do-not-call list (third time is a charm?). I told her to inform whomever needs to hear it that I am going to write a review of this problem and if I get another contact for anything other than a recall issue, I will complain to the Hyundai corporation about being harassed by this dealership.In addition to this problem, when I was at the dealership for the oil change, a salesman was walking around the service area without a mask. I really dont appreciate CH employees putting me at risk for COVID, thats just irresponsible.

Do not work with this dealer. They last integrity and follow through. Harassing phone calls, I bought elsewhere and after literally months of politely asking to stop calling me and being assured and promised, they continue to call. They do not care.

I’m going to start by saying no one in the building wore a mask at any time unless they were seated with a customer(that was one other person, so the entire building walking around without masks during a pandemic). So the entire time we were trying to buy a car maskless people were walking all around us.We had an appointment. No one was waiting outside for us. The car we requested to see wasn’t pulled up and ready to be shown or driven. The salesman we had an appointment with pawned us off on his trainee(nice kid) because chatting and having breakfast in the glass booth was more important than having things ready for his appointment. It took us an hour to get a test drive when we had an appointment to see one car.After we negotiated the price, the guy came back with an unsigned offer sheet ( not the one I signed with a counteroffer), and it had a higher price on it. Then he presented it to me like it was the one I signed, and that was the deal. He didn’t even come back and apologize himself for trying to fleece us, he made the trainee do it. So now we don’t trust these guys at all. We probably should have left at that point, but we were an hour and half in and didn’t want to start over at the next Hyundai dealership. We get the sheet back with the right price, finally, sign it, wait forty minutes for finance.Not a single other person has bought a car, why does it take an hour to get into the finance office?We get to Finance. The guy talks to us like we are five years old. “Which two of these can you control?” Listen guy, we already don’t trust you. You’re talking to two college grads, with 800 credit scores, paying cash for a car, like we didn’t graduate high school. They make us sign a ridiculous backup contract. (if our check bounces said no less than six times) Like we’d ever pay 7% for a car you’d be tripping all over yourselves to give us a 0% loan for. Signing all the papers took an hour.We still haven’t received our title.Then the phone calls start when they find out we got selected for the survey. Give us five stars and we’ll give you a free tank of gas.Like our rating could be bought for thirty bucks.Our feeling is they are holding the title until we send in the survey. Here it is. I’d never go back there ever again. The experience in the finance office paying cash was so bad my wife almost left, and she was the one who wanted the car. As much as we love our new car we’d never go back to Hyundai Camelback, we don’t trust them, we’d never recommend a friend to go. In fact, we’d go out of our way to tell them to avoid the place, and we might never buy another Hyundai again just to avoid the experience altogether.Also, the finance guy tried to make me drive down there to sign something he screwed up during the sale. When I said no, “oh we can just do it via email,” do they seriously have so little respect for people’s time. They tried to make me come down to the dealership for something that could be done via email.My guess is in another week or so I’ll have to go down there and get the title business sorted out, and deal with someone trying to talk to me about my score on this survey. That ship has sailed my friends. This is like a month-long stressful event that just won’t end. I’m not sure I’d step foot back inside of that dealership for a thousand dollar in cash let alone a free tank of gas.I don’t want a phone call from them. I don’t want a follow-up. I don’t want to have to go back to that dealership to get my title sorted out. I don’t want a free tank of gas, or emails, or questions. The simple fact is, I don’t trust a single person in that building, and without trust, there is no basis for a relationship going forward. This kind of damage can’t be repaired with an apology.

Camelback Hyundai (in particular Ricky W.) was a strong ally and advocate in my nightmare scenario I ended up in. Another shop poorly provided service on my car resulting in needing a new engine. Throughout I was met with resistance and without Rickys help I dont know if I would have received the same results. I have had such a great experience with owning a Hyundai that I would easily buy another when ready. Excellent work from Camelback Hyundai and my car has a new engine and is driving awesome.

Felt the need to Share ❤️I purchased a used vehicle, Nissan Altima, from this location about 3 months ago from Justin Frederick. He was Wonderful! Justin was very nice, patient, down to earth and helped find the right vehicle. One thing I loved was he wasn’t high pressure and spent the time when I made the decision to purchase to explain everything. I have also called with questions after the purchase and Justin always helps.Today I went in to the service center at the dealer ship and was helped by Paul Steenman a Service Advisor. Yet another great experience. I did make an appt ahead but Paul took the car in, checked on me as I waited and kept me up to date on the service that was being done.I always feel when you have Excellent Service you should share with others and acknowledge them!! Kudos to both of you!!

Purchased a beautiful Hyundai Kona and absolutely love it. For the last 2.5 years of the lease I have received AT LEAST one or two phone calls a month from them stating Your model is in high demand, please come in for an offer or We noticed you recently came in for service, would you like to trade in your Kona? or We see you havent had your car in for service (not true). Ive asked multiple times to be removed from their list. Ive emailed them asking the same. These are calls directly from Hyundai Camelback, not some warranty scam.Whoever sets outreach quotas for their staff is strangling potential return customers. I will never buy from these folks again simply because they dont know when to stop.

I was referred by my daughter who had a good new purchase experience with her salesman Alan Nix. I had a good experience too. He was not salesy. The car I wanted was hard to find, Alan helped me get the car and at fair price. This was a good buying experience with no pressure. I recommend this dealership. This is our third Tucson purchase through this dealership!

I take my Hyundai hybrid here because I know they will take great care of it and be familiar with the specifics of what it needs as a hybrid. They are always friendly and helpful, even for little things like adjusting the air in the tires. You can also book appointments online, which is a great perk. I would completely recommend!!
I was very disappointed they didnt honor my warranty. The service was necessary, so I had to pay over $700 just to get out the door. I wouldnt recommend this dealership to anyone.
My salesperson Carlos was the best, He was so patient with me. I can be a bit ( ok alot ) of a pain. He kept his cool even thou I was not easy to work with. My experience was more than I expected. The sales managers were so nice to deal as well as finance. My experience was an amazing and I will tell all my friends to go see Carlos. He really is a hard worker.
Recently moved here and decided to use Camelback Hyundai for repairs after an accident.A couple of weeks after the repairs the air conditioner failed with less than 15k miles on the vehicle.Service department refused acknowledge issue and made me as a customer feel at fault and was unable to give any sort of timeline for repairs.So now we are left with the option of having no air conditioning or no transportation for an unknown period of time.Id recommend avoiding this service department.
No one follows up. So be prepared to pursue and not be pursued. Customer service was weak. My new Santa Fe is great.
My experience at Hyundai Camelback was exceptional. It was the most pleasurable and easiest car buying experience I have ever had. They went above and beyond to get the best of everything. I enjoyed sitting and relaxing with my friend while the sales person Joe Cota brought the cars that had all of the features I had asked for in them. Even though the day was extremely hot we did not notice it because the cars were already cool when we sat in them.I have been telling and will continue to tell all of my friends, family and coworkers about Camelback Hyundai. Everyone there was friendly.
The service department has taken care of me in an outstanding way! I brought my old Sante fe in for repairs and they were honest and straightforward through the whole process, they even showed me pictures of the damaged part and showed me what was fixed after the car was finished. Leo is a great service writer and shows honesty, compassion and integrity. I am very satisfied.

Not only that they were able to get a MUCH better interest rate for a brand new SUV!He even went to get us some snacks for the my pregnat wife which meant a great deal to me .This has been my best expirence EVER to date when purchasing a vehicle and highly recommend!

Amazing place here, I purchased a car Sunday a week ago. It was used and noticed some things needing to be fixed, the shop manager Karl and John were awesome with customer service! This place gets five stars for leaving cars unlocked on Christmas day so that I could safely check out the model I was interested in without any pushy, covid dangerous salespeople. What they are like when they are open is something I cannot attest to.
Where do I begin? If I could give zero stars I would. I am a young adult and this was my first big car purchase. First of all, the staff here is beyond intimidating. At least the couple people who helped me, especially the salesman. I felt extremely rushed and pressured the entire time I was there. I expressed to them that I was interested in the Elantra or the Sonata. Without even showing me Sonatas, he said “the sonatas are completely out of your budget”, even though they really are not much more than the Elantras. We only looked at cars for a short period of time. Again, didn’t once show me the Sonata. I felt as though he was forcing me to choose a car to test drive. Finally test drove an elantra, which was the one I bought. I really liked it. However, I was still on edge a little bit, especially for the price. Let’s talk about the price. They priced the Elantra with convenience and premium for 34,000… They went down to 26,000, but still. While I was on the phone talking with my dad about the price, they were in the corner just staring me down. Never once did they say you know what, why dont you think about it over the weekend. I felt so pressured into buying the car that day. Flash forward, I bought the car. A couple days after I purchased, I was having doubts. I tried to reach out to both the manager and my sales person, and they did not get back to me for almost a week. I wanted to see the Sonata and compare the two. Since they took a while for me to back, it was too late for me to even consider. I went to a different Hyundai dealership, showed them my paperwork, and they said Camelback Hyundai completely ripped me off. They said I could have easily gotten a Sonata for around the same price they quoted me the Elantra. Now I understand the saying “they make my skin crawl”. My dream car was the Sonata. I will not have an opportunity for so long now due to the loan on my Elantra. I am so disappointed, especially given this being my first big car purchase. I was certainly take advantage of. In addition, Karl, the customer service manager, is very dishonest. He says he will do everything to fix a situation, and he doesnt. After he realized I figured out he was lying, he stopped responding to my emails then claimed his internet was down. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy from this specific dealership. I am trying so hard to get out of my loan and start at a different dealership.

This weekend, I bought a car for my 16 year old daughter. I had been searching for a number of weeks, but hadnt found the right deal. I had the pleasure of meeting Anthony Young at Camelback Hyundai on Saturday. He found exactly what I was looking for and guided me through a stress free purchase. I would strongly recommend him to anyone how is looking for a car.

Amazing dealership! Most people know the process of leasing or buying a car is long but The service here is unreal and the staff really will go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. Justin the salesperson Karl the customer service manager and Erick in finance really took care of me. They know how to sell and will make sure you are satisfied with your vehicle before you walk out the door. They even called me after I left to make sure I was happy and constantly reach out to see if there’s anything they can do to help it shows they care and don’t just forget about you after you made your purchase. Im really appreciative of camelback Hyundai and look forward to continuing using them in the future!

I inquired about purchasing a vehicle, which they did do a good job of sending information on the vehicle. Where they lost my business for now on is when they started blowing up my phone and email after I said I’m not interested and I’m going to another dealership who has a better price. They called every half hour for the 8 hrs I was at work and emailed at the same time. I opt out of the email but couldn’t with the phone calls. I will not do business here.

I bought my very first brand new car yesterday and I’m so glad I chose Camelback Hyundai. Erik helped me and my husband find the right car. I really wanted a NEW car with amazing warranty and that’s totally what I got. I was so nervous in the finance office with Carlos cause looking at the numbers is scary. He helped us find the right warranty to cover literally everything within a price point we are comfortable with. I’m a happy customer. Covid-19 is still running wild and it was nice to work with someone that was relaxed, not pushy, and had a sense of humor. I love my car and most of all I feel safe driving my 2 children around now.

Went over an hour past my promised time with an appointment for my oil change. Then I get my car back over 3 hours later and a ton of my gas was missing. Multiple calls to the desk for a status and no response. And it took me a month just to get in for an appointment due to overbooking
So the Sales Rep, Troy, was great. Would definitely work with him again. Both financial reps could use some work though. Both I get are trying to do their job to up sell. But if I tell one the night before I’m not interested then the following day have to tell the second one, not once but three times I’m not interested, obviously they have a hearing problem or maybe shouldn’t be doing that part of the job. Would I recommend this dealership? No. Would I recommend Troy? Yes. My woman loves the car.
