Its our place number one to buy footwear for our teen son, and he needs a new pair every month or two. They always have discounts, so you can get something nice for under 20 dollars. Shop assistants are helpful.

Went to check out the shoes. Rick, the shoe guy was a huge help. Hes was very knowledgeable and was able to peg my style perfectly. I left with two pairs of shoes, a jacket and some sunglasses. Lots of great deals all over the store. When you go, ask for Rick. He knows customer service. You cant go wrong with him helping you.

We stopped in shortly before Christmas to pick up a few gifts. We were impressed with the selection this location had- much more compared to the location we usually visit. Will most definitely go to this location for our sporting good needs in the future.

Sometimes this store has some absolutely killer deals on items that you would probably think of looking elsewhere for, such as Walmart or Target. Watch the ads and use their coupons. For example, they have some zero gravity chairs that are nice quality for under $60 each. Great for camping or motorhomes.

Kid a front desk refused my business because I refuse to put a mask on, all the time his mask was under his nose and he was wearing it improperly. Very rude and unprofessional. Will never come here again.

Pretty disappointed. I bought a Body rider exercise bike/elliptical since gyms closed down during Covid. I eventually found out it was not a good product and what I understood was that Big 5 was not accepting returns until June due to Covid. It broke pretty quickly so I worked with the warranty company two different times. They did send multiple parts but overall I’m just very dissatisfied. The machine is loud and feels like it’s going to fall apart. I called to speak to a manager and they told me they couldn’t do anything. I know it was months later but I thought they would not accept returns any earlier. Now the manager says in April I could have brought it in for a return. I know it’s not completely their fault but I’m frustrated. The manager said to me “if you bring it back I will be out the hundreds of dollars.” Well I guess I’m out the 100s of dollars then myself.

My son, granddaughter and I went looking for rollerskates for grand daughters birthday and they didnt have her size, and we wanted them that day. So the associate located other locations that had her size and which they only had one. Made it to the location and yes found them. Thank you, you made one 6year old girl HAPPY!

Its okay if you need camping gear, fishing supplies, or maybe a new hiking bag. Wouldnt rely on this store for biking needs unless you want a garbage bell brand helmet, a cheap pump, or some super cheap made in China gloves. Dont bother if youre looking for tubes or tires they dont have any. There is a decent selection of under armour clothes cheaper than most other retailers though.

Came here on black friday at 5am to get my dad the perfect gift. I love how straight forward the ads are and how friendly the workers are here. They were quick to check us out and when we couldnt find an item, they helped us no problem.

Im surprised this place is still in business. Came for a couple basic fishing related items and to renew my fishing license. The shelves were pretty bare and couldnt find half of what I was looking for. The cashier had to call the manager for the license but no one ever showed. After waiting for 10min I gave up and left.

Was looking for a specific pair of high top athletic shoes they didnt have them but instead the store clerk found me a really cool pair of hiking boots that were just my kind. Lightweight good no quality leather and synthetic materials make up the outer and inner upper boot while a strong composite makes the sole. A lug pattern that actually grips to the terrain and doesnt clog up with mud and debris. Good laces that work with the eyelets and hooks tying up solid and dont slip. Best part was the price $34. And change. I looked them up online and the exact same brand boots through Zappos are $56. Any more questions...

Was waited on within a reasonable time. The person who first helped was not familiar enough with the product so she asked the manager to help me. He came over right after she told him. Checkout was quick and easy. Very pleasant experience.

Great store, the best prices. I have never shopped at any big 5 sporting store. I was shopping for shoes and decided to stop in on a whim. I was met with the best friendliest service ever. Michael and Victoria were great. Michael helped me with all my shoe needs. I would describe was I was looking for and he would bring exactly what I wanted. Victoria would hold my shoes up front so I wouldnt lose my great deal. Michael and Victoria was so kind and made my shopping experience the best. I will be going back again. I had decided to take a look at the selection Big 5 Sporting Good’s had in the shoe department after seeing Dick’s Sporting Goods ridiculous prices. I was greeted up front by a young man named Kyle. He followed me back to their shoe area where his customer service was second to none. He made jokes, brought out shoes for me to try on in a swift manner, had a very deep understanding of all types of shoes and what they would be best used for. His customer service never felt forced, but seemed like it came naturally. I’m sure others who have had him help them would agree! Bravo to you sir!

I dont know why they make you walk through a turn style when you walk in but its janky as hell. They have a good selection of basic products, BB guns, camping stuff, shoes, punching bags. The help has always been nice and the prices are worth waiting for a sale if you can. Theres an odd feeling in the air though like theyre expecting the end if the world or a riot.

As always had exactly what was looking for. Store associate even looked up last sale price and gave me that break.

This place is really a cool place. If you have ever been to an Academy Sport and Outdoors this place kind of feels like a down scaled version of Academy. You can get a ton of your sporting needs met at this place.

The staff is fantastic. Even though it isnt a flashy store the staff is great. Juan, Evanely, and Michael helped me find what I needed, helped me fix my return issue when I had to come back, and were very personable and kind. I always return to this location when Im looking for a apparel and shoes for less than I can find anywhere else.

Everything was fine except the show and sometimes anent help want very knowledgeable with firearms and blades section maybe or someone who has better knowledge but other than that it was a good experience

They over charged me for items on sale but I noticed right after I left the store and they fixed it almost immediately. So that was good. Not a lot of selection for my particular sport. But the staff was friendly. Seems like their Point Of Sale (POS) system was pretty out dated.

Never a complaint for this little sporting goods merchantile, and its a wonder it survives, but with a well stocked store, easy parking (their very own and shared with no one else), and attentive employees, Im surprised I dont come here more often!They really carry everything you need, and Big 5 sells guns and ammo, and a very nice selection, I might add. Prices are very good, and like I stated earlier, the staff is eager to help.

Its small and cramped, for a sporting goods store, but it appeared pretty well stocked. I was only wanting a Buff. They didnt have that brand, but they had another kind. It wasnt quite as good as Buff, but was adequate. The store had a mom-and-pop vibe to it.

When theres a sale on an item were looking for, we go here. But typically, we avoid it because the store is too crammed. They need a larger space or put less racks out or something. It feels claustrophobic every time we venture in.

I was waited on by a great salesman. He knew I love purple and tried his best to find me purple shoelaces for my new Nikes.

Manager followed me all around the store with a suspicious hawk eye as if I came to shoplift. Coincidentally works around the specific areas where I am looking at their selection of Fila fleece jacket; very negative and off putting vibe that I found very insulting; very disappointed in the shopping experience and overall customer service.
