I was greeted nicely by one gentleman and the other just stared me up and down. I politely asked for painters tape and was directed to the section where they kept it. When I went to check out the older gentlemen ( who stared me up and down ) blocked my path from the front door as if I was going to steal a $3 roll of painters tape! I’ve lived in the neighborhood many years and for my first experience in this place it clearly wasn’t the best. Not to mention they have a sign that “prides themselves on customer satisfaction” but are very judgmental after you walk in the door. If I was going to steal I would steal something worth the try not a roll of tape 🤷🏽‍♂️

Very good service. They did a great job cutting a new ignition key for my car, and gave good advice on a plumbing issue I was having. Also had parts on hand that were cheaper than Amazon. I will be going here first to support our neighborhood businesses before I spend any time trying to deal with the usual nonsense at Home Depot or Lowes.

They usually have whatever you want and save a long trip to home depot or Lowes.

I took a sliding patio screen door to the pros at Academy hardware. They tried to fix it in front of me and I knew right then they knew what they were doing. I decided to order a new door and the price was a lot less then I figured. Just goes to show how honest they are. Great to have a business that cares about their customers.

Good place to find things fast. Found a razor scraper on one visit and a window shade on another. The shade was only $8.75 which I thought was reasonable.

If I could give less than a star, I would. This place is terrible. I put a deposit down for a new door several months ago. I wanted a storm door for the winter. They called before the holidays and said that they were backed up. They asked me if it was okay right after the holidays. I said fine. I called to see where my door was and I got nothing but attitude in return. Not even an answer as to why its been months and Ive been patiently waiting and they didnt even attempt to contact me. Not even an attempt at an apology. Just attitude, like its my fault. They wouldnt even gone me a refund so I can go somewhere else and get a door. DO NOT GO HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. Im going to be taking them to court. I dont want anyone else too have to go through this nonsense. An attitude when theyre wrong and they wont even give me my money back. I tried to support a local business instead of going to a conglomerate. At least with conglomerates theres a level of professionalism and courtesy.

Just went in with a broken cabinet door hinge...they helped me out quickly, cheaply ($10 for 2) & even said if it didn’t fit they would take a return. Couldn’t ask for more! Thanks!

This owner operated hardware store is not like the hardware store of today. It is very personable and they are very aware of their products. It reminds of when things were not so price driven.

This guy that runs this place has more knowledge then a dictionary .i needed new nuts for my after market jeep bumper showed him the old nuts and told him the old ones only turn in about half way and WITHOUT looking at the bumper because i couldnt carry it he told me to try the ones he suggested and bingo it was a perfect match..👍🏻keep the business in the community
