COMPLETELY DISGUSTING!!! French toast wasn’t DONE! they just put a mass amount of cinnamon & a glob of butter. Which wasn’t even melted.The Turkey sausage links look even more suspect (probably not done either) since now I know the French toast isn’t cooked. The only thing that was cooked correctly (Done) was my eggs. This is just ridiculous & I will never order from them again. They should be ashamed of themselves. Very poor quality!!!

I like the place it was a nice place to sit and eat what I ordered was chicken and waffles and only thing I didnt like was instead of chicken wings we got chicken strips and you offered on your menu chicken wings not chicken strips but the food was good and thank you for letting me in your establishment

Love the cream chip beef on rye and they even had the nerve to put veggies in the home fries but next time has to request extra veggies

Ordered food for breakfast via Uber eats. Chicken and Waffles and shrimp and Grits. Food was overcooked and dry. Didn’t know shrimp and grits came with fried shrimp . Also never received my grits. Called and spoke to the manager regarding the order and items are selected and her response was “I don’t know why it’s like that” . If you’re the MANAGER, fix the problem. Don’t say oh well. You’re in customer service. I will never patron this “diner” again. The corner store has better quality food.

Food is decent and consistent. Their homemade bread is pretty bomb and fresh. Service is fast. The place is one of a kind in the neighborhood. You can’t miss it.

No fork and $10.05 for beef bacon platter, cheese eggs and home fries with onions. Taste great so two stars. But expensive and no fork, all I got was a knife after I opened at work.

This place has a long history of fine dining but its future seems on pace to be even better ..

Homemade bread. The French toast was pretty damn good. They have shrimp and grits there and fish and grits. For my beef Bacon Lovers they have that too. If you guys are out in the West Philly area try this place out. PS if youre going to eat inside its not a big place.

I have been seeing this place for years but it would never be open when I saw it, so I thought it was closed down. Nope, they just close early. Recently a friend said let’s go for breakfast and told me they make their own bread. I couldn’t wait to actually get inside of this place I had always been so curious about. The homemade bread is fresh, the food is solid and I would go again. Just know that the seating are is tiny. Next time I’ll try French toast.

My food was horrible! Bacon had NO flavor home fries were mushy and the cheese eggs was like fried egg folded over a clip of cheese🤮. I used to come here all the time and never experienced food that was so horrible 😢. On a good note the staff was friendly 🤷

Food always good

The seating is very tight, only around 7 or so booths. And it gets very crowded on Saturdays, you might have to wait 20 mins to get a table. However it is worth it, the food is very delicious. I always recommend the fish and grits. The fish (flounder I believe) is breaded and fried to perfection.

Love there French toast on the homemade bread. Creamed chip beef lacks flavor and slightly lumpy. Ask for scrambled eggs well done cause there slightly runny if not but overall the food I have tried is ok...

The food was okay. The homemade bread was very good. However when I went to use the table syrup to put a little extra syrup on my French toast the waitress reached over my platter and took the two syrup cups that were originally in the bag out. I stopped her and said why would you do that. She said the lady would charge me for it. I didnt see why when they were already in the bag anyway.

They give you plenty of food at a reasonable price. Warm atmosphere.

Such a cute small restaurant find. From the outside you may say, I dunno. Inside: simple, small, friendly, and quick. The menu is breakfast, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches and then meatloaf. The hidden golden ingredient is the bread, its in house made and really brings a club sandwich to a place Ive never been.

I called to make an order and asked if they could put the paper under my food because when the food is too hot it puts holes in the container. I was told they were too busy to do that (Horrible customer service. )They get 0 stars because you should never tell your customers that just because you are busy you cannot do a customers request for their food. I am spending my money and I do not want the chemical from the burnt container in my food. They do not deserve one star but I was not able to post so look at this as negative one star.
