Good coffee. Lots of seating and tables to catch up on work or studying. There is free wifi.
Beautiful, bright, and adorable coffee shop with fantastic service! If you are ever in the area or thinking about going here, go! They have a variety of cafe items to choose from that are all delicious, and they use environmentally friendly drinkware! The atmosphere is very friendly and there is plenty of seating. They even have some breakfast items. I got the banana toast, it tasted great but was very sticky.
First off, what a nice hipster 😎✌️looking place for the modern hipster. Great aesthetic inside. I got the avocado 🥑🍞toast with poached egg🍳. My egg wasn’t poached at all. It was completely cooked🥚. My friends was poached. So the inconsistency here is what knocked it down a star. But the portion was huge and it came in a cute box and it still tasted pretty delish. So some redeeming qualities there 😁.
The place is cute and the food is good. The avocado toast had some brown bits from the oxidation of the avocado, and could have had a bit more flavor, maybe more lemon juice? My friend and I both agreed that some parts were more seasoned than others so I’m guessing they just did not mix it right. I got one energy ball and it was $3+ for it... Too pricey. However, the food was good overall and the coffee as well!! I also liked that they had vegan alternatives!
If I could give 0 stars I would. What a bunch of arrogant workers that serve coffe there. Ill gladley walk a few more blocks for Starbucks.
Coffee shop with claims to Australian origins. I see no evidence of this other than selling KeeCups and telling you they are Australian.Of course the menu has Aussie classics such as Avo toast and banana toast.Coffee was average and the service did not exceed expectations. For Aussie ambience think Mooloolaba rather than Melbourne.
I enjoyed my visit. Its clean, its quaint, and it is a pretty contained space despite everything going on outside. This is definitely a modern space, which you immediately notice from the vegetation and key elements of the layout, and I think it is the right atmosphere for this location. If you want a little more privacy, go up to the second level, but if you want to enjoy a hot cup while watching the city go by thats where this awesome photo came from. Ill have to come back again when its busy and see what its like, but its perfect for couples or singles looking for a quick break from the bustling din.
Great atmosphere and beautiful looking place. We were a bit disappointed with the flat whites we ordered. Wife is an Aussie and we’ve had many flat white in Australia. So we were hoping for a nice cup from an Australian company. A bit disappointed that we were given to go cups when we were staying and asked for mug. We bring our own cups we we order to go.Update: Just want to say that Bluestone was very quick to reach out to me and ask how they could improve things. They have some great customer service!
Adorable coffee shop. Love the seating upstairs and the decor is very Joanna Gaines. Coffee was great and avocado toast (why I really went there) was SO good. Great bread, lots of avocado, little spice. Delicious!! If I lived in the area I would go here often.
Good coffee and pastry across the street from city hall. Good people watching spot. Good service. Have to ask for bathroom key and go on an adventure to find it.
Fantastic quality and clean space! Not your traditional American sugar bomb drinks for once! My favorite things on the menu are the Salmon Toast with poached egg and the flat white! There are also numerous gluten free options! 😍
Love this hidden gem of a coffee shop. I have yet to explore upstairs, but I look forward to trying on the grey suede chair. Coffee is on point for its price. The staff is super friendly. Thank you for the simple and pleasurable pick-me-ups
Music is so loud it caused me a headache in the time I waited for my coffee. Cute decor, but not a place anyone could spend time or have a conversation - which may explain why all the seats and tables were empty even over lunch. Coffee was pretty good.
Its a decent option if you are looking for breakfast before Reading Terminal opens. The salmon toast was good but I found it strange that they put in a to-go box when I specified I was dining in. The long black was not correctly made, either.
Great avocado toast. Additional seating with wait service is tucked around the back of the ordering counter which opens up into the atrium entrance where there are 7 or 8 more dining tables.Price is standard for the area (few dollars more for every item when compared to local dives) and the menu is ideal plant-based eaters.
Ordered a small cappacino and the person who made it instead of putting a top on my cup or the correct sleeve basically just put my cup on the to go side and gave me a strange look. I would not recommend going here unless the staff is actually looking or acting interactive before purchasing an item. I just found it odd that she simply directed me to put my own to go top on instead of putting one on after finishing the order?? And dont think Im basically bashing customer service people. I worked in the field for 10 years and would never have acted like this lady did to any customer no matter how asinine.
Millennial retreat. The avocado toast is delicious. Avocado is mashed and plentiful. The decor is beachy and calming. Come here to sit and sip a cup of coffee and forget about your student loan debt.
Wonderful coffee and such a great location. It has two story seating and plenty of room. Its a very pretty shop too. The customer service is excellent.
Clean, hip and healthy- this place has some great drinks AND food options! There were multiple gluten free and refined sugar free items too. The matcha latte was flavorful, but the milk could have been frothed a little more. The coffee was high quality, but it felt like it wasn’t quite made fresh.
The magic is delicious and smooth. I also would recommend the matcha latte. Its a great location and the shop is very cute. There are lots of different seating options from stools to armchairs too. Lovely for a quick meal or hangout.
I rarely rate coffee places 5 stars, but this place is just great. $5 for a bagel and coffee, free WiFi, and friendly staff and insisted I get a free refill which Normally isnt their policy.Very nice area, very good coffee, and close to the subway and City Hall if you need somewhere to hang out for a while.
Great space to relax in or grab a quick bite or shot of spro. Staff were knowledgeable and talked us through the tasting notes. I liked that they had free lemon infused water for folks not interested in coffee.
This is the little sister to the larger cafe in the Rittenhouse Square area. The menu here is limited to salad selections, as there are no cooked meals available. They do have specialty coffees and pastries. Seating is also limited, but the time we were there it was quiet enough to have a good conversation in a relaxed time frame.
Yummy golden latte. Menu looked tasty. Ill try to avocado toast next time
I had a small cup of Americano (12oz) and a chocolate croissant at Bluestone Lane near Philadelphia City Hall. Its place looks cozy with neutral colors. It was pretty, but both taste were a little bit disappointing. And seating their high chair is not comfortable but I set because of the electric outlet....very few electric outside are accessible.
Love the food, vibe, music, and atmosphere at Bluestone Lanes, and at this location especially. The upstairs loft is a neat place to chill with friends. The playlist is always on-point, the food is always great quality, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it!
Ridiculously over priced. I mean like $5 coffee over priced. Service people are rude. Quality bad. They take advantage of their location to gouge people.
Nice little coffee place. I needed a break from bad hotel coffee and this place really hit the spot. Food sounded good but I did not try any on this visit.
Really nice coffee shop. Lots of seating. There is even a loft area upstairs with more tables. Servers were very pleasant. The coffee is great too.
Visited this Bluestone Lane this morning and was shocked and disappointed to see them using a boomerang as a toilet key.I appreciate good coffee, I don’t appreciate an ancient, powerful and beautiful culture being reduced to a toilet key in the name of Australia. This is the equivalent of your staff wearing Native American headdresses. Not cool.
Best oat milk cappuccino ever (made with Oatly, naturally) but it cost $5.25!? Gorgeous spot to sit and get some work done in center city, tho. I guess the extra $1 could be worth it for the real estate.
Great atmosphere. Free wifi. Drink prices are more on the expensive side but its all very delicious and theres avocado toast for a quick healthy meal!
Wonderful cafe with a clean, modern, but cozy aesthetic. There are some amazing and healthy food options and the staff was very welcoming. The only issue is no Wi-Fi!! Otherwise would be my top choice in the city for remote work and meetings.
The best coffee Ive ever tasted in Philly so far. The real Aussie breed coffee! LB, FW ... etc. the atmosphere inside is so family-like and cozy! Such a warm and bright customer service too! Def going back!
Love this shop! The staff is always so warm and inviting...plus quick on days when youre in a hurry!
I cannot say enough about this place! They have the best dirty chai ive ever had and the service is absolutely incredible. Baristas are so skilled in their craft and some of the nicest people ever to boot! 10/10 would come here every single day if i could afford it.
Good service and coffee was hot and tasty. All kinds of options, lattes and specialty drinks
Coffee is up to snuff, and with 3 good non-starbucks/dunkin competitors near by it has to be. Food is what sets them above though. Always seems fresh and with more options.
Great coffee, good seating upstairs, amazing Avacado toast :)
Great chai latte with lots of space upstairs to enjoy it.
Good service but location was really hard to find using gps and its also when walking looking location is in a building that is barely visible
I finally found a place on the East Coast that knows what a flat white is! The avocado toast is delicious, too.
Neat, clean, unique, cool. Coffee is good, will be back to try the snacks
Coffee was good. No wi-fi. Staff not friendly. Don’t accept cash.
Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. That is nearly a $10 venture here.
I really like their food (avocado toast), coffee and atmosphere!
Coffee is good, the staff are kind, but the pricing is absurd. Some of the most expensive coffee in Philly.
I stop by here time to time when Im working in the Wanamaker building because of its convenience to the office. The coffee isnt bad but STAY AWAY FROM CHAI LATTE if youre used to REAL CHAI lattes. Its a disgrace. I took a sip and it was just a disgusting sugary syrupy mixture. not even the slightest hint of real brewed chai tea. I even got it with unsweetened almond milk which is PROOF that they are using some kind of nasty chai syrup flavor. An absolute crime especially because it was around $7 for a dirty chai. Parliament around the corner makes an amazing REAL chai latte (thats cheaper!) AND they have great coffee... I wont be going back here.... Honestly if I wanted a sugary chai latte that comes from a pre made carton Id go to starbucks.... or actually this is probably more on a dunkin donuts or wawa self serve machine level. It was that bad. I dont mind paying more for a good quality coffee or tea drink but I felt like i was robbed here. I had to throw it out.
One of my favorite coffee chains!
Cute inside - rude workers and over priced bread
Avocado toast was fine. Coffee was terrible. And no WiFi.
Nice clean and bright. Fast and friendly service.
Got a matcha latte which was made wonderfully, the cost however was a unreasonable (7$) but thats center city for ya.
Aussie style brunch and high quality artisan coffees
Loved the panini I got!
No wifi, high prices, and sometimes a very nice staff. Today not so much :/
Theres more seating upstairs. Nice decor
Great atmosphere, awesome staff, amazing coffee
Great choices, interesting drink choices as well
Great coffee, breakfast toast and vegetarian options
Friendly employees and great lattes
Cafe is lit. Words used for description only tarnish the truthness of this place.
Great Coffe, fresh sandwiches, friendly staff.
A bitter coffee that cannot be swallowed
Great coffee and pastries!
They dont take cash! They also dont have flavored coffees.
Healthy and delicious food.
Could use more electric outlets.
Complaining about parties of six is not great for business.
Ok joint for the preppy arts people
Awesome atmosphere
Poor coffee and overpriced pastries
Paid $5 for an average latte; who can afford this??????
Love it
Service was standoffish
Overpriced
The second floor is like a loft and you can feel at ease while feeling the atmosphere below. The shop is clean and the clerk is kind.It was Friday afternoon that I went, but it was vacant.
