Fine Starbucks. They get very crowded in the morning so sometimes you cant preorder which makes it a pain to stop in on the way to work. People who work there are very nice and they do work quickly. But during morning rush, they could use more help (pre-pandemic was also very crowded and often had to wait for 5-10 minutes even when ordering ahead)
As always good drinks. But twice they made our order incorrect. We asked them to please fix it and they pushed back. They finally corrected the order after the person making the drinks did admit to not adding the flavoring that the drink is made with. Nothing special was added or changed with the London Fog Hot Tea.
I appreciated that it was open at 5:30am, which is earlier than other Starbucks in the area. So I walked there today and saw the sign saying it was open at 5:30am.However, it was closed and nobody was in the store.
Great customer service. Loved the atmosphere. Had to wait but it was busy and everyone was working very efficiently.
The cashier had a very positive and fun energy.
The place its self wasnt terrible, however the cashier ( white male with yellow hate and tattoos )put down my name as Blair, when I told him my name was Ms. Miller. I dont under stand this type of micro aggression. If you hate your job why take it out on me? I waited for 30 minutes just to get the wrong order. The young lady was accommodating, that was it.
Sean the barista was great! They seemed to be short handed but Sean was still smiling and friendly. And of course my Frappuccino was great!
Friendly staff, could be a bit quicker tho
Very crowded spot especially on a Monday morning the barista’s are very quick.
Slowest Starbucks Ive been in. Kinda a poor representation of yall.. This team can def do with a rehash of their operations.
Its Starbucks...good cooffee.
It was all good.
This location was great until the follies from the staff kicking out the homeless as each one is a check away from being homeless. I notice a rotation between old and the new staff workers. The younger women are very verbal with the customers - elders and young! There was an incident a couple months when two young worker (Girls), were disrespecting a grown man, when he simply asked for a glass of water and it escalated into a major event with the Philadelphia police was called to this particular location for the 30th time. Windows at the location were broken. The staff have a knack to call the cops on customers for the simplest and minor problem that occur. Managers at this location seemly just want to hire just younger folks for this job. If they hire seniors, I dont think much of these situations would take place at all.Second, the laws are being broken by Starbucks for not having a bathroom for their paying customers to use after purchasing their food items. Therefore, this is a huge problem with Starbucks pulling over into the Marriott Hotel where there is an agreement to let the Starbucks customers use the restroom. The city needs to enforce their laws - Starbucks are no better than any other food chain store and needs to follow the laws. The Security Guards at the hotel stops and harass the Starbucks customers on a daily bases by telling them to go back to the café- get out of the hotel - refusing them entry of usage of the restroom on many occasions. Discrimination, Profiling, Targeting and Harassment by the Marriott Security & Staff happens day in - day out.End Times
People were friendly, coffee was good, but trying too hard to separate people from their money with Pride pandering.
Very good service from the bartender haven she was great very professional and fast multitasking positive attitude keep it up I can see you being a manager one day thank you for making my day and marry Christmas and happy new year
So, you are probably reading the reviews on Starbucks for a couple of reasons. First, you already have been and know 🌟 s, but you want to know how does this compare to other Starbucks. This is one of the better Starbucks, in better location for view, seating is more comfortable (soft cushions in part of it) but also more packed because the high flux of people from hotel and busy street. SEPTA is right across as you can see from the photo. This location also has longer hours than most of the other Starbucks, open until 11 pm. The closest parking near here is 1301 market St parking, as seen in the photo included. You also have metered parking. This Starbucks is connected to the Marriot which has a very nice lobby. Highly recommended walk through.
Great tea
Great tea.
Morning crew is the best. Whoever the dude was and the girl was on evening shift around 7:30 pm 08/12/2020 are terrible. No customer service skills. Move slower then a snail. Diss interested and rather be on there phone. Waited over 15 minutes for a cookie crumble. If I didn’t step in and say something I would have waited longer. People that were behind me got there drinks first. It was just me and one other customer in the store as well. Terrible service. I normally don’t go out my way to give a bad review but I had to tonight
I like this place.Stuff is very cool
Good time
The staff were super friendly and my food and drink arrived very quickly! They had a wide variety of foods, including some healthier options. It was not too noisy and there was sufficient seating.
Thanks Jean and Lindsey (I think) The staff here was able to accommodate me and make me feel very special. Happy holidays to you and your family. Will
This was incredibly crowded on a conference morning. They moved efficiently and how orders rather quickly. I recommend using the app to order. But too many people all theyre at once in the morning of a busy conference.
Nice place for coffee lover and the quality they provide was superb. I like the atmosphere and the location of the place. Staff was decent with hardworking attitude. Overall nice place.
Friendly. Fast
Very friendly staff in a very uniquely designed Starbucks. Not that far off from a number of other places. And closes at 9pm, allowing you to have a little bit longer of a chat than many other nearby coffee houses.
I love this store erica and jean are the best
I like this place. My first option if I am near by!
Everyday cafe. However the seating is very small and does not include outside seating. The area is a mess, probably because they are so busy here that the staff cant get a break to check the seating area. Not very good window scenery. Make sure you bring a fully charged laptop and phone because that is all anyone does sitting here. This business is located right next to the SEPTA station. So much foot traffic, I feel bad for the baristas.
Best coffee anywhere and awesome service
Me and my fiance went out to dinner last Saturday. We were first timers. Staff was great! Food was great! Service great! They have a huge menu so with never had been there before we found it a little difficult to decide on what to order but the experience was great.
Service is wonderful. Too much packaging waste. Promote less waste with incentives through lower prices for reusable cups, etc
Love this Starbucks, they have always been a great branch. The staff remembers your name and always treats customers with respect regardless of the amount of things purchased or not purchased! They also try to keep the atmosphere quiet and calm although at times customers can become overwhelming there, but they try to keep this to a minimum and respectfully clear the lounge area to avoid this problem. Great store. 👍
Two words! Peppermint mocha. You like it or you dont. I get them because the taste/recipe is consistent and its a nice blend of flavors.
1 star is too much they failed to deliver the Starbucks experience. Simply horrible. Stay away
Staff was amazingly nice and very accommodating
This cafe is really good. Its nice and cozy. There is a very warm atmosphere, food is very tasty.
While this is a very busy Starbucks, I have found it to be well staffed. I had a minimal wait for my food order, and my beverage was the typical solid Starbucks beverage. While there are some boutique coffees in the area, Starbucks is predictable and an easy in and out.
This was one of my fave Starbucks. Always quiet and relaxing. Today was so noisy. People screaming on their phones, music super loud. I dont know when starbucks turned into a club. My chicken sausage sandwhich was lousy.
Great Place For Coffee In The Morning . I Have a Crush on Erica .
Starbucks is honestly over rated and some say that the workers remember your name but not one worker remembered mine. The drinks are also disgusting, although this is an oponion, but there are much much better & cheaper coffee places better than Starbucks. For example at McDonalds, they have cheap coffee that taste good and it definitely wakes you up.
You can do business there or have a quiet place to research or meet friends and family there along with eating or drinking coffee there, also police and security stops in and checks to make sure all are secure
Great service and coffee. Deducted a star for being to sweet. I think they double sugar in the drink.
It is right inside the Marriot Hotel. It has a very friendly crowd and atmosphere. Service is great.
Small location attached to giant downtown Marriott in Philly. Staff is great but weird convoluted Z-shaped layout tends to get crazy crowded, especially during giant conventions (which is most of the time). No bathroom; restroom facilities are across the (huge) hotel lobby and require hotel room keys or access, or for you to be buzzed in by a hotel employee. Otherwise just wait for someone to exit to get in.
Mocha is great, but the drinks preparation counter and area need a lots of attention.
This location has an entrance inside the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel. I visited the spot due to wanting an Iced Caramel Machiato after a wedding. This location was on point because it was just super conveniently located in the lobby of the hotel. The server gave me my drink but she made it hot. It wasnt her fault though. I assumed it would be cold. Im not knowledgeable of what to ask for. It was real chill in there that night. Folks were enjoying themselves being by themselves doing the Starbucks thing. The only downer I have is that they didnt have any pound cake left. Other than that it was all good.
Good tasting. Beverages. Efficient service
Crowded Starbucks during the morning and lunch hours, but that doesnt stop this Starbucks from working efficiently. The staff effectively got through dozens of orders in a short amount of time, thanks to the number of workers they have and their knowledge of customer service.
Great service n friendly staff
Employees are not friendly and it is not a friendly environment. Employees negative gossip and talk about everyone on daily basis. I observe they are mean to homeless people with no place to go
This can be accessed from the Marriott Hotel. They move the line quickly and everyone is extremely pleasant and friendly. Excellent Starbucks.
My fav is salted caramel mocha frappe. Service is good where I go
Best Place to wait for your bus! Nice people
This place and all that it stands first is the best.
I have always had fantastic experiences at this Starbucks location. The staff are friendly, the music selections great, and the baristas go above and beyond to help you.
Good service and good attitude to attend
I like moca. The stuff are very nice.Nice music... thank you
The friendliest staff of all Starbucks I have ever been to. Great job. Always consistent!
Very helpful and nice people. Fast turnaround given how busy they are
My favorite place to buy coffee it is clean and neat😉👍🏾♥️
Always nice, opens early for those of us who research on line as early birds.
Very busy both times I was there due to PAX Unplugged crowd but things moved efficiently. Drinks were well made.
Be aware that this place has no restroom. You can take your receipt to the hotel checkin desk and they will buzz you into the hotel restroom, but be prepared to wait in line for about 15 or 20 minutes while the hotel patrons chat up the clerks and get situated with their accommodations. Otherwise, a standard formulaic Starbucks. Oddly, this location once had restrooms (and still does), but they are shuttered/closed off to the public. An odd decision that will probably keep me from visiting this location again if I can help it.
The worse service I ever experienced. I entered Starbucks was not greeted. Waited in Line for help the BIG light skin lady with glasses skips me to help the man beside me. Then when it’s my time to order my order is wrong. I was charged $5.18. The BIG light skin lady didn’t ask what size of coffee I wanted assumed I wanted a small, then asked what else I wanted I add hot steamed almond milk. I thought my order would be right but I was wrong. I was upset with service and my order. I asked to speak with the manager her name was Liz I think. I told her what happened she asked did I want something for free I took offense to that. I just wanted to express how my service was. I just left the coffee I paid for and took the steamed milk and coffee I got. Very Racist here I know see why Starbucks is going thru what their going thru. Won’t be returning.
Love this place. Were I go when I want total solitude.
Lost my order. Made me feel like it was my fault. Did not even say sorry.
Caramel crunch cream frapp, the pink drink, mango dragonfruit drink, strawberry acai drink, java chip frap and vanilla bean frap, hot chocolate white, caramel or regular, hot tea or coffee are amongst the best on the menu! Sugar plum danish pumpkin muffin and cranberry bliss bar are the best food items on the menu around this time of year as well
Overall my visit was ok. I went with a two star rating because I was left waiting at the counter for 10-15 minutes for a scone. I’m guessing my order was forgotten about. Eventually I was asked about my order and someone was kind enough to prepare it for me. The biggest issue with this location is the restroom situation. This Starbucks does not have its own restroom. You have to take your receipt to the hotel lobby that possibly involves waiting in a long check-in line. The worst part of that experience for me was losing my seat because it took so long to actually get access to the bathroom. I’m not sure what can be done to fix this but I really hope corporate finds an alternative solution for the restroom. I don’t think I’ll return to this particular Starbucks after my recent experience.
Great staff made my coffee while singing very nice barista! Coffee was delicious
This Starbucks was on my way to work so it was convenient. Unfortunately, they always messed up my drink and there is a staff by the name of Ms. Tee, who is always moody. I hated going there especially when I saw her making my drink, I knew it was inevitable that it wouldn’t taste right, and I was correct. The last time I went there they forgot to make my coffee iced. When I mentioned this to her she made a huge dramatic sigh, shook her head and threw the drink in the sink ( I would’ve been fine with just pouring it into a different cup and adding ice) but couldn’t even get that statement out before all of her theatrics. Despite this Starbucks being convenient, I now go the extra few blocks to a different coffee shop. This Starbucks needs to give lessons on customer service and move Ms. Tee to the back where she doesn’t have to interact with people.
Everyday I come to this Starbucks- the girl Heather is the best Ive seen - works hard and so clean!
Back in the day this was w place humans were known to congregate back before the indefinite implementation of the 6 foot personal space and Mandatory Masks in public spaces laws soon to be an amendment to our Constitution.
Come here every day always make my coffee the way I always want it thank you guys I appreciate use been coming here since four years now
Friendly warm staff.. fast in giving food and right below mariott downtown..
This past weekend, I took a trip to Philly. I was with my male side-ho. Hes a hot black guy. He sat down and waited for me without ordering anything, while I got my basic draaank on. No one called the police on us. The staff were black and white, we felt welcome. Thank GOD no Holly Hylton-types were around. Thanks Starbucks!
Good place to get together and have a nice cup of coffee and play on the computer
Love the dragon drink
Really beautyful little Starbucks :) nice Food and beverage and also free wlan. This Starbucks is located in the Boston Marriott Hotel.
The Best
Boycott this Starbucks. They are a bunch of racist pigs. They called the police on two innocent African American men who were waiting for a friend. Caucasian customers who have sat in this establishment have never had this problem. The NAACP needs to investigate and have this place shut down.
Went here 5 times in 1 day because of the great service
Service is often slow during lunch time. But of course the latte is always excellent and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Friendly service but very little seating. Hot and cold food available. Next door to FedEx Kinkos.
Quick service despite a morning crowd, nice window seating.
Nice like every Starbucks, only thing it lacks is security as while buying two lads entered to rob the cash
Good coffee
It has been weeks since my last visit but unexpectedly the barista remembers that I sometimes order two different things & want to know which one. Location can get busy at times.
Quick and efficient service, comfortable seating places and friendly staff.
Qyick and very prompt service.bNeeds inprovement on keeping up on the cleaniness of this particular Starbucks location at 12th & Market Philadelphia, Pa.
Not sure of anything else, but their hot chocolate was the best weve ever had at a Starbucks
Horrible service employees were gossiping and laughing while I was waiting for my coffee to be made, when I told one of the African American employees that I ordered two instead of one he was like OK! With an attitude not coming back to this location.
