I cannot say enough great things about Lovely Bride Philly. I actually found a dress I was in love with and this salon was one of the only salons in Philadelphia that sold the designer and gave you clear visibility to what dresses they had in their inventory. As soon as we booked an elopement photographer, I made my appointment to try on “the dress”. I was extremely anxious leading up to my appointment not being sure I would hit it off with my stylist, but man I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Julie was fantastic and made me feel totally at ease and comfortable. I could gush about her all day. The salon was so clean and beautiful and everything felt so private it was like I was the only bride there. I purchased my dress and they already gave me contacts for alterations in physical copy and via email. I can’t say enough great things about this salon!

Very disappointed. Ordered my daughter’s dress here. Dress tried on site fit perfectly. However, shop Ordered too big!! After few alterations over 2 months final fitting on Friday of Wedding Weekend still not right. Friday before Wedding had to go get new Dress.

I came to Lovely Bride with my Maid of Honor & Bridesmaid last week and walked out with my absolute DREAM dress. I loved the personal experience given before, during, and after my appointment by the Lovely Bride team. They had me fill out a questionnaire prior to the appointment with my style choice, shape, fabric, etc. My stylist, Julie, reached out if dresses in my Wishlist were outside of my estimated budget, simply to confirm that I still wanted to try them on. When we arrived at the shop, my stylist changed to Cara--she was FABULOUS. She never made me feel pressured, and she listened to/understood any personal concerns I had with dresses that I tried on but didnt love. She was so helpful and down to earth; truly, wonderful! Last, Ivy popped in after my initial measurements were taken and shared her expertise with me on the particular dress I had chosen. As a curvy bride, she helped me decide which size would be best for my body type to order. It really ensured me that Lovely Bride cared about me and my special day and just wanted me to feel comfortable and confident. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the safe, special, and truly memorable experience. I cant wait to pick up my dress!

I went to Lovely Bride this past weekend and had Taylor as my stylist. She had emailed me before my appointment to introduce herself and see if I needed anything and was just as a attentive when we arrived on Saturday. she listened to my feedback and the dresses I liked/didnt like and ultimately helped me to choose my dream dress! This was my first time trying on dresses and I was really nervous. Taylor made me feel at ease and made it a great experience.Cant recommend Lovely Bride Philly enough!

I was so sadly disappointed in lovely, I was excited to come to try on gowns with lovely because they have an amazing online collection to view prior to coming to the salon, however I was not allowed to look at other gowns while I was there. The gowns they did have were extremely dirty and grey-ed along the edges as well as smelling of body odor. The stylist did make effort to pull gowns that she though I would love based on my style preference, but sadly it just did not compare to other bridal gown shopping cleanliness and quality.

I’ve heard of bridal shopping horror stories and today represented one for me. I’ve had numerous positive dress experiences, until here. I most likely found my dream dress today but due to our consultant constantly checking her watch and literally rushing me in and out of these sample dresses, I didn’t even have a second to look at myself in the mirror and actually consider the dress on my body before she was unzipping it and putting me in another. She continued on to tell me that I couldn’t try my favorite dress on a second time and I could just “sign the contract online”. Really? This is a big purchase for people. That is a classless response. If you have a customer ready to say yes, you provide the customer service. It’s not that difficult and it’s not that time consuming. Instead, you now have me going to buy the dress from a different shop, outside of Lovely. My consultant was also new and was not ready to be on the floor alone as I needed to make potential recommendations of things to add to the dress, such as a belt (as she argued with me that the designer didn’t offer something like a belt and then realized, she was mistaken). All around a really poor, low class customer service experience. Maybe one day when these consultants find themselves dress shopping they will realize how poor of an experience they provided to their brides. To end, the dresses were filthy (black from dirt) and the salon wasn’t clean. The chairs guest were also sitting on were well past worn. Honestly, a shame, do better with this experience as a company.

I recently bought my wedding dress from Lovely Bride. I was not only anxious about trying on dresses but I’m also extremely indecisive. I came to the store with my mom and sisters/maids of honor. Sarah and Taylor listened to exactly what I wanted and showed me every dress that would fit my personality, vibe of my wedding and my body type. I left picking the most perfect dress for me! They really made me feel solid about my decision. Taylor had great accessorizing ideas and Sarah listened to every question I had showing me every dress that fit the bill! I really enjoyed being able to choose dresses ahead of time online but having a stylist who also made some additions or changes based on what I liked and didnt like of the dresses I tried. Lovely Bride Philly was absolutely incredible! It was my first time ever trying bridal gowns on and it was everything I had expected and more. The team was helpful and very friendly they made my time in the salon very special and made me and my 2 guests feel safe and welcome the entire time. Lovely bride made finding my dress such an easy and stress free experience. Cara, my stylist, made sure the dresses from my wishlist were ready to be tried on as soon as my appointment started. The second I tried the first dress on I knew it was the one. Cara helped me find the perfect veil and even had me hold flowers similar to the ones I want on my wedding day. My experience with Lovely Bride was so great! Cara was SO helpful, listening to what was important to me, and offering great insights into different dresses. She even emailed me prior to the appointment to clarify my budget because the budget I had originally put was well under all of the dresses I had chosen for my wishlist. Had an incredible experience at Lovely Bride with my stylist (and owner!), Ivy! She was so knowledgable about all the different designers and was able to tell me right way if specific details on the dresses could be modified. I was SO HAPPY Ivy told me that my dress designer, Alexandra Grecco, allows brides to split size their dresses which is so great for us ladies who have vastly different top & bottom sizes.They are so organized and set clear expectations in their emails to you before your appointment. Its *imperative* you choose dresses youre interested in online so they can pull them for you to try on at your appointment. To be honest, Im GRATEFUL that they dont allow you to browse the shop and look at dresses. They have so many and I would have been overwhelmed. Plus, I think its much more helpful to look at the gown on a person than view it on a hanger. I was surprised to see a few people annoyed by that in their reviews, especially when they clearly tell you it isnt permitted. Overall, my experience was wonderful! Im so happy with my choice and I cant wait to see it in person again :-)

Literally perfect. I had only one dress in mind.My only complaint is you couldnt walk around - they have very strict covid policies which ruins the FUNBut the Dress was ordered and Cara and Sara were delightful.

I had the best experience here today, Sarah and her colleagues were all wonderful, helpful, and kind. Giving me options to fit my time frame and price, and even some extra dresses to on! I ended up finding my dress and I’m thrilled. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured, and I received compliments the whole way! They were so cute and the shop is so fun! It’s always nice to visit old city too. Definitely book an appointment if you’re in the Philly area looking for cute boutiques.

Lovely Bride was my 3rd appointment of the day when I traveled to Philadelphia to try on wedding dresses and unfortunately it was my least favorite of everywhere I went. First, only 3 of the 8 dresses I provided beforehand were pulled for me to try on and then there was no opportunity for me or my MOH & mom to walk the showroom and pick out anything that caught our eye. We were the only ones in the entire boutique and quite frankly felt a bit rushed during our time. There are was also extremely strong perfume either throughout the store or on the attendant helping us that I was getting light headed and dizzy just trying to stand there. Overall the time at Lovely Bride felt transactional vs. experiential and I just didn’t feel as comfortable there as I did at the other shops I visited.

Today was truly magical! This place is an absolute MUST if your looking for the perfect wedding dress. Lizzy and the other staff were absolutely phenomenal - I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This was my first and last shop and I can’t wait for my dress to come in!!

Lovely Bride made my wedding dress shopping dreams come true!!! After already having a very blah experience at another bridal shop, I was nervous on how my appointment at Lovely would go. We had a fabulous experience with Lyssa! It was our first and last dress outing because the bride said YES to the dress. We had so much fun and Lyssa was incredibly attentive to the brides wants. Every new dress Lyssa brought in to the dressing room responded to whatever the bride said about the last dress. We never dreamed we would be one and done and have so much fun!!!

THIS. IS. THE. PLACE. After 2 other disappointing bridal shop experiences, Im so glad the 3rd time was a charm at this charming little shop in Olde City. Im a very non-traditional bride and I havent spent my childhood dreaming about the wedding dress I would someday wear (i.e. Im clueless). I am also heavily tattooed and struggling to find a dress that would accentuate my tattoos and not clash with them.At each of my other bridal appointments (first at BHLDN and then Philadelphia Bridal Company), I was very upfront about my bridal cluelessness. I really needed a little hand-holding, but left those other stores feeling pressured and rushed and no closer to understanding what dress was right for me.Lyssa, my Bridal Stylist, made me feel comfortable and welcome from the get-go. She was happy to share her expertise about what may or may not work for my figure, my body art, and my budget. She was easygoing and fun to work with- and she kept things moving! I was able to try on about 6 or 7 dresses in the same 1-hour appt time that somehow only afforded me 3-4 try-ons at the other shops. The selection @ Lovely Bride Philly is great ( I honestly could have been happy in any of the dresses I tried on), the store is cute and clean, and the location is convenient.If you are a boho/non-traditional/alternative bride who doesnt want to break the bank, hit up Lyssa @ Lovely Bride!!

I had such an amazing experience at Lovely Bride and I literally can not say enough nice things about this place and the staff! The shop is so cute and was not overcrowded and I felt totally safe with the Covid protocols they had put in place. The stylists are great and really give you individualized attention without the pressure and not for one moment did I feel rushed. I thought my 2pm appointment was 230pm. I was late and hold myself accountable for the honest mistake. However, I spoke with an associate (Ivy?) and asked if it were helpful if I gave them the gowns I was wanting to see/try on (9 total), but was told in a relatively snide tone that “realistically there’s no way you’re trying on all of those gowns in 30 minutes”. Not only did I see and try on every gown that I wanted to, but I also thought I found “the one”. I’m writing this review because these locations are privately owned and unfortunately, the attitude and unprofessional demeanor from the associate on the phone regarding my honest mistake with the appointment time made my decision to not return and finalize a dress from another location very easy. I was not asking for additional time, but a pleasant experience with the time I had. Also, I did not see anyone else arrive while we were leaving as I was mindful to not be holding up another bride to be. Cara, our bridal stylist, was incredibly helpful, professional, and quick. Thank you, Cara!!

I cannot speak highly enough about Lovely Bride. First off, the shop is so beautiful and spotless. It was exactly what I imagined when I thought of wedding dress shopping. The gowns were absolutely stunning, and ultimately I chose my wedding dress here (it was an easy decision!) The biggest reason for leaving a review was how unbelievably helpful my stylist, Stephanie, was. She was so tentative and patient, and she really had such a great feel for what my style is. I was so nervous about choosing a dress, but the true reason I ended up with my perfect dress was because of Stephanie!!

Thank you to the entire Lovely Bride team! I had such a great experience finding my dream dress for my June 2022 wedding. I was so impressed with the entire experience from creating my wishlist on the website and scheduling the appointment to saying Yes! to my perfect dress, everything was done with so much care and attention. My stylist Lizzy reached out a few days prior to my appointment to ask about budget and ensure the dresses I requested to try on were within the range I was comfortable with. When I arrived at the (gorgeous!) boutique, my dresses were pre-pulled and ready for me to try on. Lizzy was so great at figuring out what I liked and making suggestions for other dresses to try on that might fit what I was looking for. The entire staff handled COVID procedures really well-- and even though I was only able to bring one guest, we really easily added my MOH virtually which was super special. I highly recommend Lovely Bride no matter what style youre looking for!

I cannot thank the amazing team at The Lovely Bride enough!! For me one of the most special moments I was really looking forward to as I started planning was dress shopping. I found a gown YEARS prior that I absolutely knew when it was my time I had to try on once I found out it was at LB I knew where I would be heading. Once Covid came it was very tough to accept that not everyone I really wanted with me was able to come for safety reasons but once we arrived all of those feelings melted away as EVERYONE made the experience so memorable. My stylist Aniyah was one of the sweetest people I could have hoped to work with she had all of my wishlist dresses picked out and organized and she made sure to take advantage of every second we had together. I asked to FaceTime with some of my family that I had hoped to be there and everyone right away was so willing to help us get it set up and were patient as we dealt with any technical issues. Ivy was also amazing and so helpful, one of the best feelings I got from everyone was they truly wanted to make me as a bride feel CONFIDENT in my choice and they didn’t just tell me what I wanted to hear they gave me professional advice and helped me see things maybe I wasn’t. Best experience ever! I never write reviews but I had to for Lovely because of the amazing experience I had from the second I walked in all the way until I SAID YES TO THE DRESS! First off the atmosphere in there is amazing very relaxed!! My stylist Lyssa was so great I loved her! She totally understood my personality and helped me find my perfect dress! I gave her my budget and she didnt show me anything over it! I loved that I was able to help pick out my dressed that I tried on! I went to two Lovely Bride boutiques, including Philly, as wells as 3 other bridal shops. I definitely had the best experience at Lovely Philly. My consultant was Lizzy and she helped me pick out styles I liked and had already pulled some of my favorites from when I made my appointment. She also helped me get in and out of the dresses which was a huge help.The dress that ended up being my favorite was a dress that Lizzy pulled after learning my style and likes and dislikes - she knew what I liked more than me! Since I had a few other appointments after, but had a front runner, Lizzy wrote down the style and price of my dress and took my measurements so we could call back and order. They didn’t put any pressure on me to buy the dress then and there.So after having mother appointments and not loving other retailers, I tried on the dress one more time (at a Lovely in LA since I was visiting family in Philly) I ended up picking the dress that Lizzy pulled for me and am so in love with it!Lovely had such an amazing selection of dresses and the experience there was exceptional. By far recommend to anyone looking for their wedding dress!Forgot to add - I loved how on the website you can see what dresses each store carries!

I did not end up choosing a dress from Lovely Bride, but any bride would be lucky to find their dress here. They were incredibly kind, patient, and informative during my appointment from start to finish. They made sure to pull every dress I could possibly be interested in within my budget. And they have a wonderfully diverse selection!Since I was working on a short timeline for my dress, they also made sure to tell me everything that was possible. When I showed interest in a particular dress, the owner reached out to the designer directly and immediately to make sure it could be done as a rush order.I know I would have absolutely been in great hands if I had chosen a dress from Lovely Bride, and I am glad I at least had an appointment here.

As Mother of the Bride, I felt like I was at a fast food restaurant. Extremely poor customer service and an extremely rude manager. The gowns were pretty and our sales associate was nice but they need to work on the customer experience and get a new ‘lovely’ manager with class, especially for brides being their target customer.

Ive come to this boutique twice. The first time i found my dream dress and got something else. The second time i got the dress i wanted. Both times the ladies at The Lovely Bride boutique were friendly and patient. They remembered the dress that made me cry and saw how happy i was to get the dress i really wanted. The lovely girl who helped me was amazing. The plus size selection was lacking though I thought. The dresses almost felt like prom dresses to me. But if you have a more whimsical style I could see it working out.

I had the best experience at Lovely Bride. I found the perfect dress with the help of Rachel, a super friendly and talented bridal attendant. She selected amazing dresses for me and hand picked the one I ended up purchasing. She knew what she was talking about and made me feel so comfortable and happy. The owner, Ivy, was also so friendly and so nice and truly cares about her customers! I love Lovely Bride and would recommend the shop to everyone! There was a great range of styles and prices and the shop itself is beautiful (and even smelled amazing!).

Poor customer service. I went shopping for my wedding dress on my own given most of my family and close friends are out of state. I found a beautiful, unique dress that I love and also had tried on accessories during my visit. I purchased my dress knowing that there are no returns—for my dress. I was not made aware however that the accessories were not refundable or exchangeable(!!) Once my dress came in and I tried on the shrug and veil again I knew right away I did not want them on my wedding day. I asked the sales rep if I could exchange and she just said no. I reached out again later on to simply order another color of the same item but they needed 8 weeks to order (too late!) and the answer was the same, put very coldly. They must get this a lot! be wary when buying from this store. I understand that a wedding dress is special and made to order but accessories? please. Buy with caution!

I had a wonderful experience at the Lovely Bride! Amanda was my bridal consultant for both of my appointments. I loved both the online and in-person experience with the lovely bride. Not only was it easy to book appointments through the website, but I also received helpful follow-up emails after my appointments. While in the shop, Amanda was very attentive to my wants and needs. She pulled all the gowns I wanted to try and also helped me choose ones that I didnt see myself. She was sweet and respectful. Unlike my experience at other bridal shops, the lovely bride did not try to pressure me into buying a dress. Overall, great quality dresses, amazing service and easy online experience made my dress purchase easy and authentic.

The Manager was rude from the moment we walked into the shop. They gave us 1 hour (total) and you felt rushed the entire time with the Manager taking dresses away due to time and telling our bridal consultant to hurry up. I give them a 1 star for overall customer experience of which should be a #1 factor in the bridal experience. I have heard this from a few other brides post-experience, so clearly you are losing business and sales.

Taylor worked with me at my first ever dress shopping appointment this past weekend. She was so nice and picked options for me that were exactly the style I was looking for. Only gave this 3 stars because my gown pick up appointment was enjoyable. The shop hosted a trunk show for a designer I was looking into purchasing my dress from, so I thought it’d be an awesome experience to do my shopping here AND get the trunk show discount cause why not. I travelled all the way into Philly from Central Pa for my hour appointment, just for them to say my preferred budget of $2200 was basically not enough and I could only afford the one thing I wanted to look at. So basically I was shuffled in and out of 4 dresses or so with barely any time to have a good look or feel for them, did not get to look at the dresses on the rack myself, and did not get treated like an actual bride. I had a better experience prom dress shopping in high school. They say they don’t like people touching their samples because they’re delicate but I tried on a sample that was absolutely beat and dirty so at that point you might as well let your brides touch them, we’re not that dirty. So I bought a skirt from Carol Hannah, basically what I went there for and was told then that with my budget, I probably couldn’t afford a top to go with it (wasn’t even planning on buying it the same day). I had to ask to go out into their main room to view my dress in a more natural light because the lighting in their rooms are terrible. If you’re going to sell high end gowns, get some more natural light and open space, and maybe make an attempt to work with brides who are trying to make their budget as big as possible rather than treat them like they can’t afford anything. The bridal experience was honestly not good there was no excitement, no greetings beverages, just get in and get out. I would’ve rather paid more money at the designers flagship store in NY (where I ended up purchasing my top from) than shopping here again. My pickup appointment was a little different, she actually put hair pieces and everything on and talked to me more than my purchasing appointment consultant did (by the way consider hiring more professional sales people not college kids) Overall, would not recommend unless your budget is $2500+.

What an amazing experience! I felt so confident the entire time. We had plenty of space and time, many dresses to select from and a really helpful stylist. I said yes to the dress and would absolutely recommend Lovely Bride to all of my friends and loved ones!

She made me feel comfortable and at ease and was super supportive! The owner, Ivy, was also present throughout my appointment and answered any additional questions I had. Lovely bride had everything I was looking for. I went to a few places before going here and found nothing that really jumped out. From the minute I started trying on dresses here i knew this was the place. I found so many dresses I loved, it was so hard to choose! We worked with Ivy, she was amazing. When I asked she always gave her honest opinion which was greatly appreciated and she ALWAYS was sure to ask how I felt in the dress. I got a dress I felt comfortable in and it is everything I was looking for! Thank you so much Ivy and Lovely Bride for making this such a carefree and positive experience!

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Lovely Bride was our second stop today. Immediately upon walking in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. After taking us back to our room, Ivy asked a few questions about the wedding and what I was looking for, and took me out to the dresses and expertly picked out a handful that she thought would be best. As soon as she zipped up the first dress, I knew I would find the one at Lovely Bride.Ivy was not pushy at all and discussed options since we had one more shop on our list for the day. She encouraged us to give her a call if we thought we wanted to come back, and about fifteen minutes into the next appointment, we did just that.I am so thankful for Ivy’s expertise, welcoming spirit, and her lovely shop. I fell in love with a dress, and had such a wonderful experience becoming a Lovely Bride.

I had a great first dress shopping experience here. The girl who helped me, Amber, was lovely and really helpful. She made the whole thing so enjoyable and knew exactly what to suggest. I cannot give her enough praise. There was another lady who popped her head in and had a chat with me too which was sweet. The shop itself is beautiful too. Highly recommend!

The women working here were very helpful with finding a style that worked for me. The shop has beautiful, reasonably priced dresses. I went to 10 different stores and ended up going with the first dress that I really loved from Lovely. Theyre the true professionals!

I had the best experience finding my dress last week. The lovely Bride is the perfect place to shop for a dress; their selection is large, without being overwhelming, and their dress styles have a vast range. They even had the lastest dresses from a designer whose newest collection had released two days before my appointment. The owner of the shop helped me on my search and she took the time to get to know me, which was ultimately how we found a dress and accessories that suited me. I had tried on dresses before at other stores, but never felt like my non traditional style was understood until I came to Lovely Bride. My mom accompanied me and she was also made to feel included and valued. Loved every minute of it!

I urge you to search elsewhere as this shop PREVENTED me from getting my dream dress.I went to this shop with my mom and bridesmaids. When looking at dresses with the consultant, I told her my capped budget and she confirmed.After trying on many dresses in a strange backroom and standing on what seemed to be like an old fruit crate (??), I absolutely fell in love with a dress. We walked out in front of the large mirror, they put a veil on me, and asked if this was my dress. Before replying yes, I asked the price and was told it was $1,500 OVER my maximum budget. Why would you put me in a dress that you know is $1,500 over my budget without warning me? Sadly, I had to leave the dress and shop elsewhere.I ended up buying a dress somewhere else, but couldnt stop thinking about the Lovely Bride dress. My mom and I called other locations in the US that carried this designer, and we found one that would sell it to us for only $200 over my budget. I was willing to make that work for my dream dress. I was thrilled!I chose to call Philadelphia Lovely Bride to tell them about the price I found at another location to see if they could match the price as Id like to do business closer to home. I was told they needed to look at numbers and they would call me back with an answer. When they called me back, I was told that they contacted the designer to tell them that another store was selling it for a lower price. They essentially tattled on the other store for undercutting their sale.Freaking out, I called the other store back to try to finalize the sale, and they said that the designer contacted them and they could no longer sell the dress to me for that price.Thank you Lovely Bride for putting me in a dress I couldnt afford, parading me around the store knowing I was falling in love with it but couldnt afford it, and then preventing me from buying it elsewhere when I found it at a price I could afford.Everyday as I plan for my wedding, I regret calling you to offer you my business. What. A. Mistake.

Love love loved my experience at Lovely Philly! The shop was relaxed and dreamy. Lyssa helped me try on a TON of dresses, but I never felt overwhelmed or pressured. She did her research and new exactly what I was looking for before I even got there. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique, customized experience. They are even taking the dress I fell in love with and adding a few special requests. They took something I was dreading and made it so wonderful!

I had such an amazing experience with Aniyah and Sarah! I am a plus size bride and was very insecure going into my first wedding dress fitting. They made me feel SO comfortable and happy the entire visit. They helped me to find my perfect dress and veil and were able to even suggest adding certain details to my dress to make it exactly what I was picturing!! I couldnt be happier with my experience. By far the best bridal boutique Ive been to and the only store that was able to really zero into my wants and needs in choosing the perfect dress for my wedding. Wonderful store. Ivy is amazing she knows exactly what to pull when youre not sure. The one on one time you get with your bridal consultant makes the whole process easier and more fun. Since the store is appointment only it feels very inanimate and very special when you come in. I would highly recommend shopping here, especially if you want something unique!

I live upstairs from Lovely Bride and my gown at the time was in the window on display. I went with my family and tried on so many dresses but didnt feel right about any of them. I went back by myself and I said, the dress in the window is my dress. Ivy snagged it for me with the most perfect veil and the moment I had been dreaming of since I could speak happened! It was fate! Really awesome ladies who make you feel so comfortable and beautiful!

I found my dress at Lovely Bride in Philadelphia! First, a little background... my mother was diagnosed with ALS this past year. Its been very difficult. I wanted my mother with me when trying on gowns. A must. So, we needed to visit bridal stores that were handicap accessible and had handicap parking nearby. I contacted several stores in Philadelphia and South Jersey. Ivy, the owner of Lovely Bride, promptly responded to my email. She was wonderful. Ivy was sincere, professional and offered excellent advice. We scheduled a visit on a Friday morning. I brought my mother, father, aunt and best friend. Ivy was waiting for us, with a beautiful room ready and personally assisted us. We had champagne (we brought it), and Ivy pulled several gorgeous gowns for me to try on. It was a lot of fun! Ivy was so helpful. She was kind, honest and clearly, an expert in her field. I am so grateful for everything she did for me and my family. We had an amazing experience, and I am very excited to receive my gown in a few months. Visit this store, and listen to the experts. We have shopped at Lovely twice now and each time the experience was fantastic! On our first visit we thought we found the dress but my daughter wanted to look around a bit more. We shopped at another store and the experience was less than ideal which made our second trip to Lovely that much sweeter. We actually did find the dress and I must say the response from everyone who worked there was amazing. My daughter was fitted with a veil to complete the look and then ushered out to the big mirror where they even had Ed Sheeran playing on the stereo!She never felt rushed and we had time to take lots of pictures! We also met Ivy, the owner, who obviously understands the importance of a friendly, helpful, professional staff and a nicely-stocked inventory! I highly recommend this boutique to anyone who is looking to have their true bridal moment. NOW, my busy, young, business woman, daughter needs to get in and place her order!

This is the only bridal place I have been to between DC and Philadelphia with lighter, more alternative wedding gowns. The general heave lace and beading is in right now, but I am having a beach wedding in Costa Rica - and no one has had any practical dresses for a beach wedding - except here!This place is really nice. It definitely has the bridal boutique feel. The dress sales people really want you to get involved and even pick some dresses that you swear you wont like but once you try it on it is perfect (story of me and my dress!) Basically, I am trying to say they are very knowledgeable and interested in finding your style and what you want.Also this shop does not have the overwhelming selection that some stores have - they have plenty to choose from but just not an overwhelming number. And it has a more personal and private showroom feel. Love this place and would recommend it to anyone!

Went on Saturday with an appointment for my twin sister and was highly disappointed. The lady working with her rushed the entire experience and process of trying on gowns. It was uncomfortable seeing her constantly look at her watch and when we wanted my twin to try on a dress from earlier, the lady said she was out of time. While trying dresses on, her comments were you have time to try on about two more dresses. Didnt make it a memorable experience for such an exciting and important day for the bride to be. Sadly, I wouldnt recommend this place based off the service regardless what dresses they have to offer.

We came to Lovely Bride with only 5 months and a small budget, and they were still able to work with us. After visiting two other salons we returned to Lovely the next day to purchase a sample that fit me perfectly and was under budget!

I walked out of Lovely Bride without a dress, but have nothing but great things to say about my appointment with Jess.I had a lot of first time nerves but Jess made me feel at ease and not pressured to have a definitive opinion on every dress. My family loved the experience and had nothing but nice things to say after. We had 7 people total in our appointment and they all fit in our room!Jess also put me in a fit & flare, something I would have never chosen for myself but ended up loving. All the dresses were gorgeous, there is a wide selection.When we went to another salon in the city for our next appointment, the stylist there was honestly a little off-putting and had zero of the insightful input or enthusiasm as Jess did earlier that day.All in all: Make Lovely Bride one of your stops for wedding dress shopping and ask for Jess!

Had an amazing experience at Lovely Bride Philly with my stylist Aniyah and Sarah who was also working the store. From the moment we walked in, they were so kind and welcoming. Aniyah made us feel relaxed and gave us a personalized experience based on the designers and styles I was interested in. She also made some great suggestions and I ended up LOVING one of the dresses she picked, as well as the complementary veil. The store has an amazing selection of gowns and were overall an awesome place to shop for a dress (especially after the impersonal experience of trying on dresses at Pronovias in New York). Overall, highly recommend! And reasonable pricing, too.

I went to this boutique with my cousin, who was shopping for a wedding dress. The ladies that work here are super nice and helpful. I gave it 4 stars only because they dont carry many dresses. But, overall this is a very nice place.

First let me start off by saying this was my FIRST and ONLY bridal store. I thought finding the perfect dress was going to be the hardest part of this journey. Jess was A-MAZ-ING when helping me pick out dresses that matched the style I was looking for. She nailed it with the third dress! When I went back for my second appointment Kylie was great with helping me seal the deal with the dress I picked during my first fitting. The environment is down to earth, pretty in pink and also smells delicious :). I couldn’t have found a better shop to pick my dress. Thank you Lovely Bride for helping me say yes to the dress, and being a part of my special day!

For us this was totally a waste of time.The salesglrl was pleasant but we were directed to the dressing room where she brought a very limited selection of dresses that were not in keeping with what we expressed! (For example, no strapless or spaghetti straps ) When we asked if they could be altered, unlike other shops the answer was, No, no straps could be added or belts etc. Compared to other shops these designer dresses were more costly and our budget was more than ample from experiences elsewhere This despite the fact my daughter called ahead to question the price point and availability. .We were encouraged to look at trunk show dresses. Many of the samples (not trunk show) had pulls in the lace and two were actually grey with dirt along the train and bottom edges . There was nothing there to exude ambience or make it a memorable experience either..In fact after arriving & being buzzed in, another client opened the door for us . That, in addition to not being encouraged to look at the racks because the dresses are separated by designer rather than price began the visit on a less than promising note.Because of that & the lack of dresses meeting our requirements it was a testy unsatisfying shopping experience. This was not the case anywhere else. Unlike other experiences we were limited to an hour of their time No customers were waiting as we left.From other reviews recommendations, we were quite shocked as we had anticipated finding the perfect, unique dress. I generally do not post reviews, but this was so remarkable in the lack of atmosphere and attitude from our other excursions.It has a happy ending though! The perfect dress was found elsewhere and we do thank our salesgirl at Lovely Bride for her time. Perhaps our expectations were too high given the reviews and experiences we had had prior to this appointnent.

The girl told me over the phone they only carry sizes 8-10 & 16-20. I am normally a size 10 so 12-14 fits me. So 8-10 is too small to fit into to try on and 18-20 is too big to adjust to my fitting regardless. I feel like that’s a pretty normal size range to have on hand but apparently not.

The lovely bride team is wonderful. My first appointment, i worked with one of the consultants (I cant remember her name, but shes the redhead, and such a sweet human!) who listened to exactly what I wanted and pulled three Rue De Seine dresses that I all fell in love with. The dresses that LB has to offer are very unique and definitely geared towards the not-so-traditional bride.My 5 stars comes mostly from the fact that after picking up my dress and taking it to get altered, I noticed that my veil that I had ordered was no where to be found. Hiccups happen, especially when it comes to weddings, and Ivy was completely reassuring that she would handle it.I truly appreciate when a shop can make you feel both beautiful and at ease.

Ivy and company are the most attentive and wonderfully kind. The gowns are perfection and they know exactly what styles to show you to make you feel like a goddess.

Insulting service. Go to The Wedding Factor on South St. instead (for you Philly area readers). My immediate impression upon arriving was that the women working there (the Philadelphia location) did not seem like grown, self-possessed professionals, but rather like wispy young girls instead, who greet you with a weak handshake and would be more at home working at a Forever 21 in some mall. I was willing to overlook that though, since their inventory contained some promising options. What really rubbed me the wrong way, was the following:I was following the associate along a rack while she picked several options that did not grab me at all. No big deal, I realize that Im a complete stranger to her so she shouldnt be expected to nail my preferences on the first attempts. But, growing impatient with the snails pace at which we were moving, I asked if I could just do a quick scan of the wares myself to see what grabs me right away (Im a VERY efficient shopper). In a laughably condescending tone, the sales associate responded, Mmmm, the thing about these hour appointments is that, an hour seems like a lot, but it goes by really fast. If I let you browse around, thats going to take a lot of time, when we could be getting you into these dresses quickly.Apologies, I wasnt aware that selling wedding dresses requires the same level of expertise as a surgeon or aeronautical engineer, and that these associates are so much more equipped to select MY wedding dress than I am. After showing me a few more undesirable options, she finally asked Whats jumping out at you. So I immediately gravitated toward the proper section and selected some options to try, which I wound up not purchasing anyway.I highly recommend that you go to the Wedding Factor on South St. The ladies there are warm, funny, and professional. They will of course, suggest some items based on your preferred budget and stylistic preferences, but they will also let you meander to see what surprises you. Im so glad they did, as I wound up choosing a dress in a style that I normally avoid, but I fell so in love with the details on this one that I made an exception. If Iris is around, ask for her. She made the shopping experience such a pleasure. Good luck with your search, everyone!

I had made my initial wedding gown appointment at lovely bride which was very pleasant and made me feel at home. They let me touch the dresses and go through the racks a bit with keeping my budget in mind. My mom doesnt live in the same state so I was face-timing and she didnt mind at all and thought it was sweet. So they made me feel like a bride with the trying on process. However, my second appointment was just an accessories appointment because I found my dress somewhere else. Paid for what I thought was correct, but the receipt only states the name of the earrings or veil ( how are customers suppose to know what the heck the earrings names are) so I signed and paid thinking it was all good. I made sure to ask do I need to make an appointment to pick them up when they come in? she said no. So, a couple days later after I had received the call that my veil and earrings were in and was super excited. Only to drive to Philly from south jersey to get to the door and the lady saying OH sorry if you dont have an appointment we dont have time to see you because were fully booked. After saying like FIVE times politely the same exact words I have already purchased my items I am just here to pick up. I received a call I can pick up anytime and also asked prior. She was trying to shoo me out the door basically. After the fifth time me saying the same thing she finally said OHHHhhh okay let me go grab it for you.........wth okay its okay whatever its all good miscommunication happens Im thinking. Then I get the box and was SUPER excited only to be disappointed to see the incorrect earrings were ordered. The manager came over to smooth things over and apologized while shoving my $200 veil in the bag frantically when it was all nice before. I was suppose to receive a call that following Friday and never did so, I called them myself to see what was going on. The manager remembered me and reassured me it was coming at the most EIGHT weeks later. Luckily, it came in a couple weeks and this lady didnt try to shove me out the door. As I was waiting to receive my accessories again I glanced at the display earrings I was purchasing to see that the price was LOWER on the tag than I paid and also named piper not leo like the paperwork said. So good thing I noticed! They then gave me a refund of the the difference and apologized. All in all this place is beautiful with amazing dresses, but communication and training for procedures for dress appointments versus accessories appointments could be addressed. Along with double checking what theyre charging people.

This place was NOT so Lovely. My family and I were having such a wonderful day until we walked in and no one even greeted us, in fact, they pretty much ignored us. We had an appointment that we were instructed to not be one minute late for. In any event, we were stuffed in a shoebox size room after being taken back 20 minutes later and then not allowed to look at the dresses on the over stuffed racks. My poor sister, the bride to be, had to go pick 5 dresses in which she had only 40 minutes to try on before we were rushed out. With 5 minutes to spare, they finally let my mother and I look on the racks. I went to take one dress out when another worker came running over and rudely asked me if I needed help as if I was 12 years old and never removed a hanger off a rack before. They ruined my sisters moment. If your going to spend thousands of dollars on a wedding gown, I would suggest to go to a place that lets you enjoy every second of it! They couldnt pay me to go back there.

Horrible service. it was so disappointing. And when that hour is up you better be ready to jump back into your clothes and get out
