I loved my experience at the new Philly Bride in Old City. I went to several different stores before going to Philly Bride, and there are three things that stood out versus the other stores:1. Patient and Extremely Knowledgable Sales Associates: The new owner, Carley, was so knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient throughout the entire appointment. She walked me through the different collections, gave me insight into differences between styles / designers, and took into account what I was (vaguely) describing as we selected dresses to try on. She also suggested a couple gowns that she thought would look good on me, and those were the ones I liked best!2. Wide Range of Dresses: I loved that she had a wide range of sizes, styles, price points, and designers to choose from.3. Excellent Customer Service: From scheduling my appointment to trying on veils with the dress I liked most, I never once felt any pressure or unkindness from the sales associates. It was like being with my own girlfriends! Such a fun, relaxing, and inclusive environment—the best experience I’ve had among the Philadelphia bridal stores.Cannot recommend this store enough. I cannot wait to come back in October to try on the new Vera Wang dresses!

I had such a great experience at Philly bride with Naomi. I didnt really have a clear picture in my mind of what type of dress I was looking for. She was so patient while my mom and I looked through dresses. We looked at so many beautiful different styles and she helped me decide what silhouette I wanted! Even though I didnt end up buying my dress here I would 100% recommended it to anyone, and Naomi was an absolute pleasure to work with!

I just want to start with I had gone to another bridal store and had AN AWFUL experience. It was my first time trying on a dress and I left in tears.Then I went to Philly Bridal and Naomi gave me the experience I had hoped for. She was patient, kind and honest. She answered all my moms questions, never made me feel rushed and never was pushy about making a sale. She is amazing consultant and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a positive experience when shopping for their dress!

Ill admit Im not a bride but I went there with my fiance. The staff seemed a little stuffy, or maybe the place seemed a little stuffy Im not really sure. It could have been the weird, cold silence of the place where you could hear every persons reaction to every little thing but it felt off. At least one bride said yes to the dress while we were in there so I dont want to put people off; there were positive experiences to be had. That said, its not a great place for even slightly curvy brides.

I had a great dress shopping experience with my mom at Philly Bride. The store is huge and you get the entire place and dress selection to yourself during your appointment. The appointment is intimate - just you, your guest(s) and the dress stylist for an hour. The selection was fantastic - so many unique dresses! And they are willing to work within your budget. I normally wouldnt bother giving feedback to be honest but Ive been to quite a few bridal shops and this was one if the best experiences Ive had. A lot of other places left me feeling pressured and like I wasnt listened to. The dresses were all beautiful and my consultant was wonderful. It was refreshing to have a lovely time shopping for my big day stress free.

Jen was so incredible!! My wedding is only 6 months away and Jen was careful not to pull any dresses that I couldn’t get in time (mostly samples) or that were too far out of my price range. Philly Bride was my third dress appointment and I had already found two dresses that I thought I loved, but Jen found one for me that was a combination of everything I loved from the other two and the way she clipped it when I tried it on enabled me to imagine EXACTLY what it would look like on my wedding day! Jen was quick and no frills, but knew what she was doing and I left feeling so happy and relieved! I can’t wait for my fitting!!!

I apologize in advance for the lengthy review, but Jen was AMAZING! This was my very first bridal appointment and I am so glad it was with Jen! Jen was amazing from the second we walked in the door to the second the appointment was over. She greeted me by name, and welcomed my guests as well as offered a beverage! Jen took her time to get to know my style and helped me to identify some dresses I might like as well as giving me some time to look by myself. When it was time to try on dresses, Jen educated me on options, talked about likes and dislikes and pulled additional dress as we ruled out different things. Jen made me feel good about how I looked in each gown and was really great at picking dresses that flattered me! (I had a second appointment that afternoon, and I’m not sure if they aren’t good at their job, or if Jen set the bar too high but I had a new appreciation for my experience at Philly Bride after my second appointment!)The shop had so many options and I loved every dress I tried on, but unfortunately didn’t get ‘the feeling’ yet. I’m super picky and like to weigh 1000000 options before making choices. Also, unfortunately there were not many long sleeve options, and that is what my heart is currently set on. The store was very well kept and the dresses were all very clean. Again not something I would have noticed if I didnt have the second appointment. The second shop I went to the dresses were very dirty, and the lace was fuzzy from pulls. In hindsight, Philly Brides dresses were in pristine condition in comparison!!Leaving Philly Bride Jen gave me a hug, I felt great, and was ready to invite Jen to the wedding! She really is incredible at what she does!

Jen provided me with the most amazing experience! I came to philly bride with a specific sample dress in mind. However, I was still given the full experience and never felt pressured in anyway. Ultimately I still purchased the sample dress and was just thrilled with how my day went with Jen! I would absolutely recommend this studio for anyone looking for their dream dress!!

I loved my experience at Philly Bride. It was quite very well decorated inside the store. My mother and I were treated very well, and I was allowed to try as many dresses on as I liked. I will be going back soon to retry on a beautiful dress I just cant stop thinking about!

She was extremely knowledgeable about the designers and the gowns. The dressing rooms are spacious and there is plenty of room for your family/bridal party to sit. There was a trunk show the weekend I visited Philly Bride and the dresses were absolutely gorgeous. While I didn’t end up finding my dress at Philly Bride, the selection was large and varied. I had the most amazing experience at Philly Bride! This was my last of three appointments and my crew was admittedly a bit tired from the day, but we had great vibes from the second we walked in that revived us! They asked me my price point and showed me the most BEAUTIFUL dresses, I could hardly choose which ones I wanted to try on. My consultant (I feel so bad I cant remember her name right now) was so sweet and made me feel so confident in each dress, but she and I both knew which one was the one when I tried it on. This by far was the BEST try-on experience I had!!! I am also really happy I bought my dress from here because I will have a unique dress, not one that you see a billion times on instagram. Naomi was absolutely amazing. She knew exactly what she was doing and helped me choose my wedding gown. The shop has a great selection of dresses and I had my own private area with my family to try on dresses. It was a great first bridal shop experience.

I purchased my beautiful dress in 2015 for my September wedding. My initial experience was wonderful. The staff listened closely to my vision and was very attentive. I was told my dress would be in by April (for my September wedding). This is where my nightmare started. When the end of April came and I hadnt heard anything, I called and was told it would be in with the next shipment in 2 weeks. When the end of May came, I called again and was told it would be in in the middle of August. When I asked why I was told April, and then told May, the woman told me she wasnt sure, and that they dont have space to hold dresses that long. When the middle of August came I called again. Dress still wasnt in. I was then told it was planned to come in with the September shipment, two weeks before my wedding day!! This left little time for fittings and god forbid, something majorly wrong with my dress. It took threatening legal action for them to get serious, and miraculously my dress came in by the end of the week. The fittings were amazing and the seamstress was wonderful. My dress fit like a glove and was ready with a week to spare.I personally waited to review, because I was so bitter by the experience. There is nothing acceptable about the situation and it just heightened my anxiety about wedding preparations further. Three years later and I still feel strongly the same: I cant recommend this salon to another bride. They have beautiful gowns that you can find other places in the city. If you find yourself using them, I recommend you give them a month earlier than your actual wedding day, and stay on top of when your dress is suppose to come in. Hopefully my experience was an isolated one.

I went to Philly Bride recently to look for my wedding gown and while I didnt find what I was looking for, the experience overall was wonderful. I have to credit this wonderful experience to the consultant who helped me, she was incredible. She was sweet, personable, attentive and really listened to what I wanted. Unfortunately, the store did not carry the specific dress I was looking for, but she tried her hardest to find something as close to what I described as possible. Many of the dresses had the fabric I wanted, but not the cut. Then some of the dresses that had cut I wanted, but not the fabric. While I was disappointed at not finding the dress, I still walked away with a smile because I was treated well and not pressured to consider something I knew I didnt want. She was really so wonderful to me. Kind, considerate, open, creative and not pushy. She offered to check back in with me after they went to NYC to get more dresses and offered me tips about how to find what I wanted. The salon was very clean and well organized and everyone who greeted me did so with a warm smile. I did not have to wait and had 100% of her attention. So to all you brides out there, I would definitely check out Philly Bride, they still had a wonderful selection of beautiful dresses and outstanding customer service!

I am SO glad I started at Philly Bride! Bethany was an absolute dear and the most amazing consultant I could have hoped for. I really appreciated how thoughtful and attentive she was -- and that she was so expert without being at all pushy. She really made the experience great. The dresses in the store were beautiful and we saw many right away that we liked a lot. interestingly, though, the dress I ended up buying was the single dress that Bethany recommended for me. She is SO. GOOD.My experience was just superb. If I could any criticism at all, though, it would be about the overall booking process. I was squeezed in at the last minute (something I am supremely grateful for!) but leaving a message and trying to book was a bit arduous. You have to book by phone.I cant wait to continue working with Bethany and the Philly Bride alterations team on my beautiful dress, and to come back to dress shop when my sisters are getting married. She was well versed in the stores inventory, knew each dress designer and the ins and outs of any specifics (color choices, bottom skirt options, etc.) I went to Philly Bride for my very first dressing. I had no idea what I really wanted or what was going to look good. Jen was patient and helped me try on probably 10-15 dresses my first go around! Jen at Philly Bride is AMAZING. I had been dress shopping at a few places by the time I had my appointment at Philly Bride I was a bit confused on what I wanted for my wedding dress. Jen listened to what I was and was not a fan of (it had become a long list at this point) and had me pick dresses from the salon to try on. While seeing what caught my eye, she pulled a few additional dresses and pointed one out in the salon that she thought I would like. I wasnt sure about the material but she said to trust her and man am I glad I did. The dress I wasnt sure about ended up being the one I bought. Jen had a great balance between letting me look around with my friend, being there to pull what we liked, and making suggestions. Consultants at other stores had a tendency to hover and I appreciated that Jen let me shop around for a bit. I was the only bride trying on dresses during my appointment and got amazing service from Jen. The selection is very tasteful with elegant dresses that are not ridiculously expensive. They have seemed to pick the most beautiful dresses from popular brands.I appreciated that I was clipped into samples as best as the consultant could manage, which is not always the case elsewhere.Furthermore the consultant and other staff were not pushy, when I was making my final decision. This made me trust the staff and think that the dress was special and not just a sale.

I loved Philly Bride, and highly recommend,Bethany was great.. I came to Philly Bride with a open mind. However, I did show her a few gowns that were saved to my phone, that I thought were pretty. The service at Philly Bride cant be beat. My bridal consultant was helpful in walking me through what I was looking for in my bridal gown. She gave me a lot of helpful feedback as I tried gowns on and thought through the details I liked/disliked. She was courteous to my guests- which you dont find everywhere. I was just in at the end of May to search for my gown. I initially had an appointment for a different date last minute I found that it didnt work for my mother so I emailed and they replied in such a timely manner and immediate accommodated my new date and time. Upon my arrival I noticed just how beautiful the store was. The flower art installations through out made for such a lovely feminine touch. My Consultant was Bethany and I cannot say enough about her. She was absolutely PHENOMENAL! She listened to my vision and let me pull some picks of my own. Ultimately I chose the second dress I put on they dress that she picked for me which fit every aspect of my vision. She made my opinion always feel the most important and she put me at ease. I had the fortune of being the only bride in the store at the time of my appointment. My consultant was Lynn. There was another consultant present who was nice but not involved in the appointment. Lynn did a good job helping me in and out of the dresses and listening to the things that I like and didnt like about the dresses. I attended the appointment with my mother and sister and appreciated that all three of us were able to walk around, move the dresses around, and basically plan an attack. As a larger bride my only disappointment was that some of the dresses that I liked were impossible to try on given a zipper back. However, I did find a dress that I absolutely love for my wedding in March of 2019.

I fell instantly in love with my Martina Liana bridal gown! The very first dress I tried on I bought! Jen was so nice and accommodating through the trial. We had a great experience here!

I used to live in Philly and recently moved away, but upon a recent trip back, my mom and I decided to make an appointment just to look - coincidentally enough, it was the day of a Hayley Paige trunk show, a designer I realllly wanted to try. I was lucky enough to have Jen as my consultant who listened to what I liked about Hayleys designs and what I wanted to stray away from. Jen made me feel confident and beautiful, and it was definitely a meant-to-be moment. Best part - my grandmother wasnt able to make the appointment, so Jen squeezed me into another day so I can come back and try my dress on again just to show my grandmother. So thoughtful.

Prior to coming here, I had found several dresses that I thought were pretty, but nothing that had everything I was looking for. As soon as I described my vision to Bethany she was able to find dresses that blew me away. I loved the open layout of the store, and being able to see all the dresses that were available. When trying on the dresses, the natural light that comes in through the stores skylight allowed me to see how the dress would look outside. I bought my Hayley Paige gown here at one of her trunk shows and consultant Bethany was absolutely amazing; kind, fun, creative, and knowledgeable! Even if I do not end up choosing this as my dress, I will absolutely recommend Philly Bride to all of my recently-engaged friends.

Incredible! I cannot rate them highly enough, they literally went the extra mile to help me keep the shape and style of my dress a secret. when my fiance had to pick up the dress he was devastated, we arent even doing a first look because he wants to see me in my dress for the first time walking down the aisle, but logistically it made sense for him to pick up the dress and bring it home (in VA) when he was in Philadelphia for work! Philly Bride and all of the consultants were so accommodating. Everything was on time just like they said, and even a little early which is what every bride needs. Thank you all so so much!

I had the BEST experience at Philly Bride with Jen! Right from the start she was so warm and welcoming, and made me feel super comfortable. She always gave me her honest opinions (in the best way possible) and took the time to find accessories to go with whatever dress I tried on....not to mention she was so patient with creating the best lighting for pictures in each dress to really help me find THE ONE. I would recommend Philly Bride to any bride! They truly have some amazing people working there and wide variety of dresses! THANK YOU!!!!

My experience at Philly Bride was wonderful. My consultant, Jen, was so helpful, she made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process. I never felt pressured to make a decision or purchase a gown at any point. The quality and selection of gowns was varied and beautiful. Philly Bride made the process of finding and choosing a wedding gown so easy, I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I scheduled my sister Chanel for 2 bridal fittings at Philly Brides. The first fitting I had to cancel because she was sick. So when I rescheduled I was put on a waiting list. They were able to accommodate my needs the very next weekend (whereas other bridal places were booked for the month).The customer service was awesome. The only down side was that I wished there was better notice about the payment method before the day of the bridal fitting. I wasnt informed beforehand that I had to pay for half of my dress upfront. Im assuming it was because there was a sale and a trunk show show that day. But it wouldve been nice to know that ahead of time.

This place was amazing! Jen was able to find me exactly what I wanted and really listened to me. She was so patient with me and my family! I would recommend her and Philly Bride to anyone!!

Before my appointment at Philly Bride, I had visited many other bridal stores in the area with no luck on finding a dress. The day before my appointment my mom stopped by the store and the manager was kind enough to allow my mom to look over different dress options without a scheduled appointment, since she didn’t think she would be able to make my appointment time the next day. On the day of my appointment, I met with Jen who really got my vision and helped me to find the perfect dress. She was so fun and creative with dress ideas and styles but wasn’t pushy or overwhelming at all during the appointment. When I got emotional trying on my dress but wasn’t ready to commit that day, Jen helped me find an appointment time the next day to bring family and friends to see the dress. Even though I knew the dress I wanted, she was so sweet to help me try on different dresses to show everyone beforehand too. When I tried on my dress for everyone she gave us space to have a moment and let us spend forever debating on shades of ivory/ white and the perfect veil.Philly Bride had a lot of options which made the process easy, but the personality and warmth of their consultants made the moment even more special and memorable. I would definitely recommend making an appointment if you’re looking for a wedding dress in the Philly area!

My visit to Philly Bride was my first experience with trying on dresses. I have to say that it was a blast! Everyone I encountered was super friendly and the owner really knows how to make a bride to be feel at home. I didnt think trying on dresses would be not only as stress free as it was, but incredibly guided. Thank you so much to the staff and to the owner herself for taking the time to make this crazy process as lovely as you have.

This place was THE BEST! The staff was the friendliest I have met yet! I loved that they offered water or wine when I walked in and they had a great selection of gowns for me to try on. Their salon was clean and bright and spacious which was very nice! And I love that they informed me that they post all new gowns on Instagram. It really makes me feel like I am in the loop when new things come out! I would HIGHLY recommend this Bridal Salon!!!!

My friend recommended that I visit Philly Bride, this is where she bought her wedding dress. I had such a great experience with Bethany, my sales consultant - she was SO awesome. Beyond nice and down to earth. Unfortunately I ended up going with a different store - I was trying to match a Haley Paige bolero I loved from Philly Bride but didnt have much luck - however I do want to express my gratitude for Bethany’s customer service, kindness, and ease. She was amazing and I wish I could have given her and Philly Bride the business!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The Philly Bride. The interior is beautiful (a converted bank) and the selection is quite excellent. I was thrilled to find my consultant, Michelle, was great at reading me and provided dresses that suited my style perfectly. She didnt waste my time and didnt push me into buying -- which I find to be super important, especially because finding a dress can be a stressful experience. Highly recommended!!

- Curvy Brides Beware -Let me start out by saying that every person I spoke to at Philly Bride was very nice. This review is not against the staff; however, against the false advertising of being a curvy bride dress shop.Being a curvy bride, wedding dress shopping has always been a huge fear of mine and causes a lot of anxiety. I have probably spent at least a month researching bridal salons that cater to curvy brides... I was very excited to stumble upon Philly Bride since it was close to home. After weeks of holding off, I finally called and made an appointment.When I called and made an appointment I verified with the salon that they have dresses for curvy girls (which they said yes). A week later (and three days before I was scheduled to go in) someone calls back to confirm my appointment. At this point I wanted the salon to reconfirm that they cater to curvy brides. This time, the girl said someone would call me back within 24 hours to confirm.After no one called back in 24 hours, I called the salon and retold one of the staff members that I was a curvy bride and wanted to verify that they had dresses for me to look at when I came in for my appointment in two days.The staff member asked what size I was in stress clothes and I proceeded to tell her that Im a size 20. She then becomes very apprehensive and says that she may have a few dresses but not a lot...I proceeded to ask her what size do they typically carry up to if their website has a whole page dedicated to the curvy bride. She then responds with We go up to a bridal size 20 which is a size 14/16 in street clothes.At this point my heart broke... I never thought a size 14 or 16 as plus size. Considering that the AVERAGE woman in America is a size 14/16....... (When I then told the staff member my confusion considering their website says they SERVE to curvy brides, she began apologizing profusely and giving the excuse that they may have some dresses for me to try on but they are planning to receive more stock for next season. End of the story, I cancelled my appointment and will not be shopping at Philly Bride.As I mentioned previously, this is not an attack on the salon. I am positive that they have beautiful dresses and selections for regular size brides. Im upset that I was not able to try on dresses since I was so excited but everything happens for a reason.This review is more of a PSA to any curvy bride that may be taking weeks or months to research local salons that will TRULY cater to their needs.One last note to the owner....please update your website. Its very very POOR business practice to advertise on your website that you cater to curvy brides. It must be heartbreaking and troubling for the staff to have to tell brides that they shouldnt come in or to even WATCH curvy brides not be able to try on dresses.I was able to track back to reviews in 2015 where curvy brides share their horrific stories that they were crying and embarrassed in your store because your dress selection did not cater to plus size or curvy brides.

I would recommend this fantastic boutique to anyone who is looking to work with a business who is ready to cater to all your needs (including those of your bossy Matron of Honor and Wedding Planner!). I arrived at the location for my appointment without a clue of what to expect. To my surprise, the location is gorgeous, well organized, and most importantly a large selection of gowns. I loved this store and had an amazing experience. It was a relaxed atmosphere and lots of dress choices. Bethany was my consultant and she was probably the best consultant I have had throughout the process of looking for a dress. She was honest, gave great feedback, was able to understand and bring me new dresses based on my likes and dislikes. She had amazing ideas and would add belts, hair pieces and I just loved her. She also stuck within my price range and timing and did not show me any dresses that would not be ready by my wedding date. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that I wish they had more dresses in the lower price range.

I recently visited Philly Bride for my first time trying on wedding dresses. The selection was great and my consultant as well as other staff were very helpful and supportive. I didnt feel pressured or rushed. I was able to find a style that fit my body type best which was very exciting. I visited during a trunk show and there was a large variety of dresses for my shape. I was also lucky because the dress that caught my attention the most, is being ordered as a permanent dress in the shop. Overall my experience was great and I am happy that I chose Philly Bride as my first stop during this journey.

I had a lovely experience at Philly Bride. I arrived early for my 11:15am appointment, and after a brief jaunt to the garden across the street, Jen offered to let me and my mother take a peak at the dresses as she finished up with another client. Compared to the bridal store I had been to the day before, there was a much broader selection of dresses and so many beautiful options. Wine in hand, Jen helped us find an array of dresses to try on--including the one in the window, which ended up being the dress.I dont have enough good things to say about Jen--she made the entire experience so much fun and was completely truthful with me about which styles were more complimentary vs. just didnt do it for me. She is a pro (former Kleinfeld consultant) and knows what shes doing. In terms of pricing, it seemed on par with other bridal shops. The dress I chose ended up being right in-line with my budget (ever so slightly over); Jen was sure to point out which dresses were more expensive and steered us towards the dresses that were in my range.After the fact, I ended up changing my mind about which color dress I wanted (gold vs. ivory) and the staff at Philly Bride was so accommodating. Thank you Philly Bride!

I didnt know where to begin my search for my Wedding Dress and I happened across Philly Bride. The receptionist that answered the phone was polite and pleasant and from there, I thought I was in good hands. Then I actually came in for my appointment and I fell in love with the atmosphere, the dresses and the people! My Consultant was Ms. Mindy and I absolutely loved her! She was sweet, informative and made me feel special!

I am looking for a simple wedding dress and am very picky. When I walked into Philly Bride, my first impression was that I wouldnt find anything in the shop that matched my style. However, my consultant Cyndi listened to what I was looking for and she knew exactly the type of dresses to pick for me to try on. I truly looked and felt beautiful in all them. I am very appreciative of the wedding dress shopping experience Cyndi gave me on Saturday. I think Cyndi and the other consultants are very skilled in finding the right type of dress for a bride.

I had a wonderful experience at Philly Bride and wonderful experience working with Jen! My mom also raved about how great Naomi was when she spoke with her to set up the appointment and ask many questions as a first time dress shopper! I walked into my appointment not knowing what to expect and certainly not expecting to buy a dress. Jen took the time to ask what I like and although I had no clue what I liked she pulled one right off the rack that was totally me (my 2nd choice). I appreciated that when I was approaching saying yes to the dress she didnt rush me even though the store was closing. I would highly recommend Philly Bride!

Philly Brides is amazing . They recently partnered with Brides Across America and as a military member I left with an amazing dress for free. I can not express enough how thankful I am to the owner and the staff. Wonderful caring people.

I went to Philly Bride a couple weeks ago I loved the entire experience and especially the consultant (Michelle) we worked with. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful, and there was a large selection of dresses. Michelle pulled a great selection of dresses based on what I wanted and I felt like I had her complete attention, as well as the attention of other girls in the salon. As compared to my other experience shopping at another salon, I had that special bride feeling and did not feel like I was being rushed or inconveniencing the staff when I wanted to re-try on a dress. It was overall a wonderful experience!

Philly Bride was the 6th store I went to to try on wedding dresses and it was by far the best experience I had! The store itself is beautiful, the sample dresses are well-kept and in good condition. There is a vast selection of different fits, styles, and details. My consultant Michelle was amazing! She sensed my style and look immediately and allowed me to pick ones I wanted as well as pulled amazing choices on her own for me. She snuck one dress in particular into the fitting room that she knew would be perfect and it ended up being the one! She has impeccable taste and really values what the bride is looking for without at all being pushy. I didnt buy the first visit because I wanted my mom to be able to be there, and they were still so kind, whereas other stores seem a little cold if you dont buy right away. In the end I chose the one she had found for me, after deciding between 3 front-runners, all from Philly Bride. The service and quality of the store and staff is truly unbeatable. And the designers featured at the store are at a great price point. I will recommend all of my friends to Michelle and this store!

This past weekend I went to Philly Bride to try on bridal gowns for the very first time. I had a great time. They had a great variety of gowns, by some of my favorite designers, and in a wide array of price points. Michelle was my consultant and she was amazing. She made me feel comfortable and confident and engaged the group of family and friends in the process. The store space is beautiful with high ceilings and lots of natural light. I didnt feel pressured into buying right on the spot, and was allowed time to think and dream of the dresses til I felt confident. I would definitely recommend.

I had a great experience with Philly Bride; I called them to make an appointment and the lady on the phone was very nice and accomodating to fitting me in at a time that worked for me. The store itself was pretty and the dressing area was a good size. It did not feel too crowded or overwhelming with dresses. My consultant was great too; I brought in pictures from a magazine of the type of styles I liked and she brought out a variety of dresses in my price point. She knew exactly what she was doing, because she saved the best dress for last and I ended up loving it!!!

I really enjoyed my experiences at Philly Bride even though I didnt purchase my dress here. I had a regular appointment and an appointment for Brides Across America with Bethany. Both appointments I felt very accommodated and that she really listened to my opinions. This store is really beautiful and has a nice selection of dresses. If youre in the area, I would definitely recommend working with Bethany, because I dont think youll find a more earnest person helping you find a dress that makes you feel like the happiest bride in the world. I also really appreciate that they are the only salon in Pennsylvania that participated in Brides Across America. What a wonderful service to Veterans!

I don’t suggest this place be careful of the employees and the owner. Always shop at reputable vendors or the designers shop. This place is a rip off and staff aren’t pleasant to please a customer. Not a way you wanna have your wedding to start.

We had an amazing experience in this salon. The appointment was for my younger sister and she was so let down by her first experience looking at dresses (Davids Bridal) that she waited 3 months to try looking again. Her original intent was to go to another bridal shop in Philly that had a particular designers dresses she wanted to try and I told her if she was coming to Philadelphia she should try philly bride as well. Our appointment at Philly bride was first and we were blown away. We were greeted by 2 pleasant ladies working. They offered us wine, which took the edge off for my sister. Then our consultant listened to what my sister was looking for pulled a select few that were in her budget and the style she wanted. She didnt try to push other dresses she didnt want on her. There was nothing but smiles from my sister all 6 dresses she tried were amazing and the one in particular she knows is the one. We have an appointment to come back with the family to officially pick the dress. Needless to say the experience, selection, and consultant were great. Our consultant, Jen, in particular was so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. My sister is truly looking forward to our next appointment on July 30th.

Best bridal salon in Philadelphia! The dress selection is incredibly diverse, and all are beautifully tasteful. My sisters, Mom, and I had a wonderful time in an intimate setting with a supportive consultant (Bethany). We had the entire store to ourselves, so we never felt bombarded or interrupted. It was a truly memorable family experience! Whether youre looking for a princess gown or a relaxed fit (more my style), you will find something amazing at Philly Bride!We did end up going to other price and style comparable salons after our Philly Bride appointment, but did not receive NEARLY as high-end quality dresses nor speciality costumer service. I decided on my gown from Philly Bride, because nothing measured up to its unique style and quality material.

I had just returned with my sister from a number of dress fitting appointments in NYC, and have to say that we had the best experience at Philly Bride. Purchasing a wedding gown is a brides biggest investment, and we never felt rushed throughout the appointment. The shop was spacious and clean, the dresses were not so crammed together that you have a hard time viewing them (like many other places), and there were so many beautiful dress variations to choose from. My consultant was Jen who was fantastic to work with and I loved her energy too. She had pulled out many different styles that she thought I might like, knowing that I wanted to keep an open mind since I had already tried on so many lace form fitting dresses. I also appreciated her candid and helpful feedback along the way, as she weighed in based on her experience and expertise, and since I didn’t have a big entourage with me (only my sis). I ended up choosing and loving a dress that I didn’t think I would! Looking forward to the assistance from the Philly Bride team throughout the fitting process!

Little variety in terms of dresses. Mostly A line or ballgowns that have lots of embellishments so it was a little too much for me but may be what other brides are looking for. Felt the service was impersonal, sales lady did not help me into the dress, just handed it to me in the fitting room and then clipped the dress afterwards.

The Customer service was lacking! We felt rushed to leave so staff could leave work on time. We were even told that our staff member started at 9 and was ready to leave. We purchased my daughters dress from a different bridal shop.

Most rude bridal salon I have ever had the displeasure of stepping foot in. Would give them 0 stars if I could. Don’t even waste your time with these snot nosed women. Not only did they have my wrong telephone number on file to confirm my appointment, when they didn’t hear from me instead of trying to email they just went ahead and cancelled it! I came all the way from New Jersey. Don’t believe the hype everything is overpriced and the samples are in poor condition. No one even acknowledged me when me and my party walked in the door. When I called other bridal salons in the area to see if anyone else could squeeze me in they were shocked at the way I had been treated. Don’t waste your time or your money with these nasty ladies.

I would highly recommend philly bride to anyone and everyone! The salon is beautiful with an amazing selection of dresses. My consultant was Bethany and she was absolutely wonderful! She listened to what I wanted and allowed my family and I to pull some dresses, in addition to her pulling dresses. We went over our appointment time a little bit, but never once did I feel rushed or unwelcome. I found the perfect dress there and I couldn’t be happier! Also- I just received a hand written thank you card in the mail from Bethany. She has really gone above and beyond what I would have expected and I cannot thank Bethany and the Philly Bride team enough! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment, you won’t be disappointed!

Had an amazing time purchasing my dress here, when I did not have a good experience at other shops. They even held my dress until the big day. However, DO NOT get your alterations don here. They were expensive for just the basic alterations ans were not done cleanly. She said she could do a wrist bustle but must have forgot (was a surprise to find on the wedding day). She also said she could create a garter with the extra material cut off of the dress but again forgot and threw away the material, the neckline cut was also not a clean line, I could have done a better job. Again, amazing to buy the dress from but DO NOT get your alterations here.

At first I was completely happy with my purchase at Philly Bride. They had the Hayley Paige dress I wanted and it looked great. However buyer beware once they have your money customer service goes out the window. I was given no information on an arrival date and the day I purchased Jen my bridal consultant was clearly just trying to get people in and out. I had spoken to several other bridal boutiques nationwide and had heard Hayley Paige averaged 9-10 months for delivery. I ordered my dress in May of 2016 and have still yet to receive it nearly 11 months later. I called the store in January to check on an arrival date and was informed both by email and phone that they dont order dresses the day they are purchased but off of your wedding date. When Jen finally called me regarding it she contradicts what I was told and says it was most likely ordered right after I purchased it but still wouldnt give me The date. This bridal shop is a nightmare spare yourself and go elsewhere. I wish I had.

My experience with PhillyBride was amazing! I visited a few bridal stores prior to coming here but did not find anything I liked. PhillyBride had a large selection of beautiful gowns. My consultant was Bethany. She was great! She made sure I tried on all the gowns I liked. She took her time and was very patient with me. I cannot wait until my dress arrives!

I never really write complaints but Im so upset and frustrated that I wrote my first Yelp and Google review. This is the worst bridal salon ever. I have ordered a Hayley Paige dress in store back in April 2015 when I was still living in Philly at the time and when I purchased it, the bridal consultant said that the dress will be delivered to my place in Houston in 6 months from April 2015 and I had paid $1.5K deposit for the dress already. Although my wedding date is May 14, 2016, alteration appointments in Houston from my favorite seamstress have to be booked 7 months before the wedding. I called Philly bride so many times starting in Oct since that was exactly 6 months from since I purchased it as they promised. They were so unhelpful; they kept giving me run-arounds and oh well call you back and never got a call back, they never called me with any updates. They kept telling me oh your dress will ship most likely at the beginning of November, then when I called in the beginning of November, they said oh your dress will ship at the end of November or beginning of December. I was so frustrated because I couldnt get an appointment with my favorite seamstress here in Houston.Then they finally called me and informed me that my dress arrived in store and will ship out the day before Thanksgiving. Initially, they informed that shipping cost will be $75 next day air. Then when they actually had to ship it out, they were like oh its going to be $75 for 3-5 business days shipping. At that point, I just did not want to argue with them anymore. I paid $76 and the remaining $1.5 K for the dress.Then my dress finally in a torn box with no garment bag, they literally taped my shipping address on the same box that the dress was shipped to their store from Jim Helm. I will post the pictures of the box that my $3500 wedding dress came in. Its so upsetting. I ended up ordering a garment bag and hangers from amazon. I would not recommend having a business with this bridal salon. PLEASE RUN AWAY.
