I had the pleasure of working with Essence. She was incredibly sweet, helpful, and honest. This was my first bridal fitting and she made me feel so comfortable and I felt I could genuinely value her opinion. My one and only try on and I said “yes to the dress.” Thank you, Essence!

Overall, my experience at BHLDN exceeded all expectations in large part to Olivia. Olivia was helpful, knowledgeable, and insightful. There was no pressure whatsoever to buy a wedding dress despite her undivided attention for over an hour. She made sure we were comfortable and having fun the whole time! She made me and my family feel very special and well taken care of. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Olivia and would highly recommend this experience to any and all soon to be brides!

Andrew is amazing!!! I truly do not recommend anyone else do what I did (order a bridesmaids dress from another company only to have it be five days before the wedding and the company tells you its been delayed AGAIN.)I arrived in a panic (as, you know, the wedding is in five days), and Andrew was immediately calm, encouraging and helpful, despite the fact that I very much did not have the appointment I was required to have. He gave me a number of options, made it clear which could be bought in store and which could be ordered overnight.I was able to buy a dress in the right color and fabric right there. Its a size too big, but I can definitely make it work. Good quality, reasonable price. I truly almost cried with relief in the store.TLDR: Andrew is amazing. Buy your bridesmaids dress with BHLDN. (But, like, give yourself more than a week.)

I accompanied Tara smith, the bride who had an appointment here. The dresses were covered with makeup and tanning lotion, completely noticeable not just on the inside but when looking at dresses from the outside. There was extremely limited options to begin with. The employee, Yaara, came off as bored and annoyed during the whole experience. Do not expect to come here and find any wow factor in their dresses and or experience.

2022 bride here! I made the trip from NJ to check out this location in hopes of finding my wedding dress. Needless to say, I SAID YES!! Andrew made my experience so special! I have always dreamt of this moment and it was absolutely perfect. Not only does BHLDN follow the necessary Covid safety precautions, they make you feel so welcomed and supported. Picking out your wedding dress is definitely not easy so I appreciate the knowledge and support from Andrew. There was another party trying on dresses and I would have never known since we were in separate spaces. I highly recommend checking out BHLDN, especially at this location! There is so much variety and the staff knows what they are talking about! Thanks again, Andrew for making this such a special day with my mom and sister that I will never forget!!

I ultimately did not end up choosing a dress from BHLDN but I had such an amazing experience with them and any bride would be more than lucky to find their dress here. I worked with Andrew who was so incredibly friendly, patient, knowledgeable and kind during my appointment. He made sure to pull every dress I could want to see and even made suggestions for dresses that looked amazing on that I never would have thought would. He really is the best! They also have a wide selection of dresses and sizes which I very much appreciated! Not for one second did I feel rushed or pressured into anything. I know I would have absolutely been in great hands if I had chosen a dress from BHLDN, and I’m happy to at least have had the experience of coming in for an appointment. I would HIGHLY recommend getting your wedding dress there!

I was a very nervous bride when I arrived at my appointment today, this was my first time trying on gowns. Andrew went above and beyond to encourage me, get me out of my shell, and listened to every opinion or desire that I communicated. He made me feel beautiful and special like I had hoped I would feel when I walked in the door. Tierney was such a pleasure to work with. You make your appt online and pick out dresses you want to see and include a description of the wedding. She really got me so fast and pulled additional dresses off the rack for me. In the end, I went with one of the sale pieces she pulled at a very attractive price. I am thrilled with the dress and the experience.

ANDREW SNOW IS AN ANGEL! I walked in feeling nervous, anxious and not beautiful... I left smiling, relaxed, confident and happy. This man is wonderful. He is calming, genuine, authentic and fun. He made me comfortable, asked great questions, made great suggestions and really guided me through the process without any agenda... just taking my cues and helping me along the way. He is truly a gem and I feel so lucky I worked with him.

Arrived to the appointment with guests intow only to be told one at a time. Ok, fine. Its up on this second floor so we can still see whats being tried on and give input. Thats where it ends. The consultant never informs my sister, the bride, of the allotted time for her appointment and says and I quote we have time for 5-6 dresses. Wonderful! Fast forward 55 minutes later when my sister is back in a dress for the second time - the dress we schlepped our behinds here for mind you- only to be told by the less than stellar consultant that its not available. Unbelievable. You failed to do your job effectively. Im sorry you dont want to make a $300 sale and had your heart set on a $1500 sale, but my sister and her happiness on her wedding is what is important. This place is a joke.

I love BHLDN. I got my wedding dress here and have nothing but phenomenal things to say. I went to the BHLDN in Devon, pa and they were outstanding. My dress is beautiful. One downfall is you need to do your own tailoring.One other downfall I ordered wedding shoes from online. I LOVED them. They were sent back to BHLDN with no explanation even after a few email encounters with them. Then they were off their website so I was no longer able to purchase them. Unfortunately the Nina brand shoe was made for BHLDN and not able to purchase elsewhere. Ultimately this was very upsetting for me from such a reputable company. It really put a bad taste in my mouth.

I had an absolutely amazing experience here! The dresses are gorgeous and priced so well. The staff was beyond amazing! They have styles you choose online all set up when you get there but you can choose more from the racks. I have already recommended this every chance I’ve had!

UPDATE: I received store credit.Swindled. That is the summary of my experience with this store. I purchased what was supposed to be my wedding dress from this location. In-store, I tried on a dress which fit close to perfectly. However, it was too short in the front. The associate who helped me assured me that if I ordered a size up, the dress would be longer/issue resolved & to just have it brought in. (I wish I remembered her name, I would have also included it.) Fast forward to 73 days from my wedding, the tailor I went to said it would be impossible to lengthen the dress without ruining the design.Prior to meeting with the tailor, I took the initiative to reach out to BHLDN to see if extra fabric was available. Tierney replied Our allocations team responded and, unfortunately, are not able to outsource more lining for the Sorrento gown. I apologize for the inconvenience. Please reach out if you have any other questions. Its not my job to know whether or not extra fabric may/may not be available. The associate who helped me shouldve warned me against purchasing this dress if making the alterations wasnt a reality. Also, because the dress is beaded, bringing it in alone was estimated at $300 (more than 50% of the purchase price). So now, Im left with a non-refundable/non-exchangeable dress 73 days away from the big day. Also, this is what my brand NEW dress looked like out of the box prior to putting it on. I was planning on having it repaired together with the alterations.

Andrew was such an amazing consultant. He made me feel so comfortable even though I was shopping totally alone without family or friends to give me advice (I am a Canadian who visited Philly on a business trip). He showed me dresses I would have never even thought to try on myself and I ended up finding my dream dress and ordered it online shortly after! I am so grateful for him!!

I literally just got off the phone no less than five minutes ago & talked to a wonderful Man named Andrew (I think that is what he said I wish I had asked but Andrew if you see this Im sorry if Im wrong) Anyway..... He was so happy so positive and even though he didnt give me the most positive answer I left the conversation feeling positive & understanding it was my own gosh dang fault for not calling & ordering & doing it online! Either way I hope Andrew gets a raise of at least THREE DOLLARS because its a Monday & its been heck for me & I feel happier than Jack Torrance in The Shining.

Amazing! I got my dress from them last minute (after my previous one had been ruined at a different bridal salon) and I LOVED IT. They sent the dress to me within 4 days and I was able to get it tailored within the week. I WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO GET THEIR DRESS FROM HERE. The only place that will also accept returns so you can order in multiple and choose in your home.

I really can’t explain how great BHLDN is for wedding dresses (and bridesmaids dresses!). Everyone I worked with (especially Natalie and Erin) were extremely professional and truly care about their brides. Their dresses are great quality and you can’t beat the price. Highly recommend!

Going and buying the dress was a great experience, but it all ended there. I ordered it in the beginning of March, expecting it to be shipped the middle of May. It never shipped and each time I called customer service, I got a different answer. The third time, the woman actually told me the shipping label was being printed and itll be shipped by the end of the day. Still no dress and then when I called back, oh, its now back ordered until at least September, but still not guaranteed to get it then. What?! I understand delays and everything, but to tell me its being shipped out today when it was still on backorder is unbelievable to me. Obviously I had to cancel the order because I cant wait for months hoping maybe a dress will show up one day. Extremely disappointed in this company and their service. Looking forward to dealing with a small, personal company that doesnt lie to their customers and gives them up front information about their wedding dress.

It was a great experience! Staff is really nice especially Beth!! She greeted me and listened to me what I want. She was very lovely, fun to talk to and was very helpful to select the right choices for my shape. She did not make me feel rush in any dress. I just wish that there would be more options in different styles of gowns.

I loved the style of the dresses I saw online so I booked an appointment to try them out. The stylist was very helpful, and even measured me in case I decided to go with my favorite dress. Theres a lot going on in this space, but they handle it well. Their dresses are all reasonably priced!

I can’t say enough good things about this store and the stylist Bethany! She made the whole appointment stress free, fun, and she really got a sense for what I was looking for quickly. I would recommend BHLDN to any bride but especially those of us who like to do research in advance, because their site has all the gowns and pricing I was able to walk in with a list of what I wanted and knew exactly how much it would be. They’re quick too, I ordered the gown on a Saturday and it was at my door that Wednesday. Love this place!

The prices are fantastic however I felt hella insecure in this shop half of the styles I like I couldnt get on my body and the style we can get on to see an idea I started to like it then she informed me it doesnt come in my size. Then she showed me a cape and it was beautiful. So when I inquired about the cape she looked it up and they dont sell that item anymore. All in all if you are anything more than a size 4 you will not leave happy

Busy shop but made me and my bridesmaids feel welcomed, not rushed. Decent variety of dresses and the consultant actually picked out a dress for me that I liked a lot, that I didnt initially pull off the rack.

This is is the basement of the store, Anthropology, we had an appointment, the staff was friendly without being pushy. They have some beautiful dresses in lots of price points and they have dresses in various sizes to try on, not just size 2! They can have a dress ordered and delivered within 5 business days..for the procrastination bride! I would reccomend this place for a wedding dress, worth a look Why Spend thousands and thousands (and thousands) of dollars for a dress when you can spend hundreds or 2 thousand for a beautiful dress...You feel beautiful and walk away with money in your pocket.

Despite not choosing a BHLDN dress in the end, I needed to share my fantastic experience. My stylist Andrew was above and beyond what I thought any stylist could be. I went to my first appointment by myself and was feeling super overwhelmed. Andrew was a breath of fresh air and helped me remember that nothing else mattered other than how I felt in these dresses. He was so positive, patient, and challenged me in suggesting styles that I had been avoiding because of insecurities. He made me feel so comfortable and talked to me just like a friend would. I couldnt have asked for a better bridal shopping experience. The only disappointment I had was when Andrew couldnt have been there for when I picked a dress at a different boutique haha I highly recommend any bride to make this their first destination in their shopping journey! Thank you Andrew!!!

Dresses are beautiful, space is clean and lovely, and all of the salespeople are extremely helpful. An appointment is needed to try on bridal gowns. Dresses usually ship in 7-10 days from ordering. They dont sell dresses off the rack.

I went in to try the Belize Dress and my experience was horrible. The lady who was supposed to help me, came 20 mins later and complaining all the time that she helps people find their wedding dress not bridesmaid dresses. That threw me off, because why would she even work there then? Anyways, i ended ordering my size and the dress never appeared!!! I was so dissapointed because i was in love with that dress, but then i went on to find out a lot of other people had this same issue with bhldn. Ghost company if you ask me! Never purchasing here again!

Two weeks ago I had an appointment for Bridal dress shopping with stylist Bethany. I looked at the website ahead of time and had a whole list. My stylist understood my purpose was to try on as many of my favorite gowns as possible, and I think in the hour I was able to try on 9 or 10 dresses (most women do 5-6) and was able to try my favorite dress on twice. She gave suggestions on finding a belt and made the experience fun. In the end, I bought my wedding dress! The BHLDN ladies were great and very helpful We came in dripping and a few minutes late from a surprise downpour and they got us paper towels and helped us dry off. My Aunt fell on the stairs and the BHLDN ladies were concerned and brought her water and first aid. However, the woman working in Anthropologie upstairs who witnessed the event was largely unhelpful and made no effort to help my Aunt. The women working in BHLDN were awesome; the woman upstairs greeting people, not so much.

I recently tried on wedding dressing at this location with my mom and grandma and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Its downstairs below the main Anthropologie store and is very well laid out. I was offered champagne right away and we only waited a few minutes for my stylist Andrew to come out. He was AMAZING! Seriously, this guy deserves a raise. He pulled a few of the gowns I had mentioned in my email that I was interested in, but only pulled things that would be here in time for my wedding (I last minute shopped for my elopement gown for Italy, leaving in a month and a half) so that I wouldnt try on anything I couldnt get. He also asked my budget and everything was within that, that I was trying on. He asked me what kind of look I thought I may like and pulled a few dresses for me to try that werent on my list.Anytime I tried on a style that I didnt find flattering for my body he would just pull them out of the room and we pretended like it never happened. I felt super confident trying things on with his help, he grabbed a belt that he thought would go great with the first dress I tried on which ended up being the one the Cassia gown. He also pulled veils that would look well with that dress. I never felt pressured at all to purchase anything and I didnt feel rushed at all. I ended up buying the Cassia and Florentina belt that day (on a Friday), he no charge shipped it to my house and I had it on Monday. I cant rave about how wonderful of an experience I had, it was everything I had dreamed of.THANK YOU!!

The ladies of bhldn rittenhouse were warm and accommodating. We were greeted with champagne and there were fresh flowers everywhere! Despite reading that I would only have 45 minutes to try on prior to my visit, I was not rushed at all and had such a wonderful experience. This was my first time trying on dresses and I felt no pressure to purchase or settle at all, and my small budget was not surprising or of a burden to them, which is such a refreshing feeling compared to other bridal stores. After trying on about 8-10 dresses, I knew I had found my dream dress. They paired me with accessories and everything, and I walked out with my entire ensemble, all still under budget. This is a beautiful store with a lovely staff and I would highly recommend it!

I had a wonderful experience with BHLDN. My stylist, Beth G., was amazing! As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by staff and led to my dressing room with a seating area for family & friends (great space). Beth listened to my style and advised me to look at every dress they had so I could try on whatever I wanted. She was very helpful in the dressing room; professional, polite and fun to talk to - you dont feel like your standing in your undies with a stranger, haha - she made the setting very comfortable! An hour appt. was plenty of time. The dress selection was beautiful. I am very tall (510) and slender; the dress lengths worked perfect. BHLDN has gorgeous dresses at very affordable prices, and the dresses are delivered much sooner than other bridal stores. You can also find great occasion dresses (bridal shower, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, etc.), bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride gowns. I do not believe they carry plus-size gowns. I would call and ask. Hopefully, in the future or perhaps, at a larger store location they will have them. Its a great spot to find your perfect wedding gown! It was my first stop, and I loved it. Beth and the staff were lovely.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at BHLD, specifically Caroline from the store. I had so much fun trying on dresses. I never felt rushed and untimately said yes to the dress, without ever feeling pressured.The true colors of the BHLD store shined through though when I had an emergency bridal situation. My dress came in the mail and I waited a few months to actually try it on because it was shipped to my parents house. When I eventually did try it on, it felt way too tight and I did not feel comfortable. I texted Caroline from BHLDN pictures of my dress and asked for her expert opinion. She offered honest advice and made me feel like I was taken care of. She did a courtesy return of my dress since it was past the 30 day return window and ordered me the next size up. It was there in no time and now everything is perfect! Caroline turned a scary bride situation into an effortless, breezy experience for me. THANK YOU CAROLINE!
