They had Starbucks and gave me free water with ice. Good employees.
Decent area to study. Not many outlets. Starbucks is on par.
Nice book store. Great for student needs
A good place! Fast service, delicious coffee, reasonable prices!
Fabulous place to get away and study, read a book, meet with friends, colleagues, or just take a breather with self. Coffee, snacks, books, Temple attire all here. The staff is pleasant. I recommend this place!
Not a big selection on books as i thought it would be, still its worth it to give a look around to see if you find something you like.!
If youre a temple student is the best store to go to get your books. The reason why is because Barnes and Nobles Temple store has a lot of books first temple students. However the store isnt just for people who go to Temple, they have other books are too. They have manga new books like the Harry Potter books. And many more other books as well, they also have other stuff besides books. So go check out the store you will have fun.
Make no mistake, this is more a university bookstore than an actual Barnes and Noble. Thats not a bad thing in my mind. However, I was surprised by the small size and very limited selection of things. On top of that, stuff was priced high when I was there. Nothing much of use to me here.
Great spot for books and coffee right in the middle of Temple. Not a ton of books as its more of a book store for Temple Law. But all the best sellers are there. Plenty of Temple swag and a decent seating area for perhaps 80 people.
Great selection of Temple University paraphernalia! Nice book store.
Its one of my favorite spots to study, read, do homework. All that good stuff.
Hey nice convenient spot to do your book shopping and get your coffee. And get all your temple gear. Plus theres a public bathroom which is always a big plus.
This a satellite store, and lacks much of what a typical BN would stock. The store allows mentally unstable persons to roam the store freely, making noises. I know they think its showing empathy by not sending them away, but its very distracting to paying customers.
Its in a nice environment and there text books is too pricey, other items and they should of left the name alone as Temple Bookstore instead of Barnes and Noble. And treat their student workers and employees right and fair. And stop racial profiling students and other people that come in there and bullying other workers especially when they been their longer.
I USED to like this place. Mostly sit in here to study and the staff is okay, usually a bit tired but thats understandable. Today however, a manager taking my order made fun of what I ordered RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME? She laughed about it to another employee So rude and unprofessional..
Wide open spaces right near Temple. Was a great respite (with some cell phone recharging) after a recent political rally for this out-of-towner. Bus stop and SEPTA (subway) right outside!
It’s nice. I’m there often to do work and there’s always spot for electrical outlets (no guarantees though)
When it is good it is very good, and when it is bad you wait over 15 minutes to get a frozen sandwich or raw dough in your stuffed pretzel. Beware the start of new school years when all the workers seem to be new and clueless.
Nice place. Could use some public access WiFi
Pleasant staff, very small book store. Not a whole lot of stuff.
They should change the hours. The website says 7am, the door says 730am, it is close to 8am and the door is still locked. Hope it opens soon, I need my textbook before work for class tonight.
Prior to moving to New York, Whitten considered being a musician. At Dunbar High School in Bessemer, Alabama, during the mid-fifties, I played in the marching band and in the local dance band, he said. I even made a few pennies and seriously considered music as a career. Coming to New York in the late fifties changed all that. I met John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Kenny Dorham, Ornette Coleman, and many others in jazz. I was forced to reevaluate my caliber of talent. There was no way I could compete with what I hear. Out went the saxophone, in came Windsor & Newton, Old Hollad, Blockx, Grumbacher, Bocour, Liquitex. It was the right think to do.Lol they turned him off of music. If only someone had turned George Bush off the presidency like that we might have a really awesome portrait artist instead of a never-ending war in the Middle East. Smh
One of my favorite places to sit on the computer and have a coffee
They dont have all the options a normal Starbucks would have but its nice. Only starbucks in the neighborhood.
Had just what I was looking for and held it at the front desk for quick check out
A really nice place to study
Nice place very friendly and helpful staff
I went to barnes & noble at willow grove mall excellent service very plesant.
Meh. Nothing special. Just a bunch of overpriced Temple paraphernalia.
Very relaxing environment. Always someone to help out.
Book store ok.starbucks needs attention trash over flowing dirty coffee counters. Satf today talking among themselves . Image not good
Great book store. Awesome clothing too.
Great seating friendly staff. Bathrooms could use some work.
Terrible. Only for temple students and the wifi doesnt work unless you have a temple password. Obviously this place is not welcoming to ANYONE ELSE.
Everything here is so overpriced.I wanted to buy a Temple hoody in support of a friend who was attending until I found out those basic a** hoodies start at $40 Im like nahh bruh..
I asked to pay them with my Starbucks saved card and the barista was very rude stating we don’t take Starbucks cards since we’re not a Starbucks. Hence I bought nothing the sale never took place. I have about six dollars left on my scanned card.
I like that it has an pnc atm machine
Serves Starbucks coffee, temple wifi, good selection of temple merchandise
Nice selection of Temple Owls jerseys and very friendly and helpful staff
Starbucks inside the book store is horrible. Employees their can’t make a beverage if their lives depended on it.
Stopped in for coffee, stayed for the good vibe and pleasant people!!
Too expensiveTheir coffee is not starbucks exactlyNo parking
Good selection of Alumni items
They have great books
Nice clean book store
Friendly open air environment
Very good bookstore.
Much more quiet than the neighborhood libraries
Its a cafe and a bookstore. Not a library. If you want silence while reading go to a library.
Yup pretty much what it says on the box
Great brunch to eat while reading
Not enough books to pick from
Overpriced and packed. Solid place to study if you are there at the right time.
Great atmosphere!
