Impressive first online shopping experience with HeadHouse. Loved that I got a personal thank you email and free shipping (with $35+ orders while theyre closed). The best sellers were delivered to my door in 2 days. Their website search function and book highlight recommendations are easy to use. Looking forward to visiting in person when they reopen.

I had an incredible first experience at Head House Books this week. Not only did I get to meet my favorite authors (Christy Harrison and Caroline Dooner), the shopkeeper made me feel especially welcome. As a person with a disability, I realize that well attended book events dont usually have space for me. Head House Books made space and were ever so gracious in doing so. Their front entrance has no steps and their raised area has a permanent ramp that works perfect for a mobility device. Their collection of books makes me want to come back again during business hours and explore the entire collection and neighboring businesses.

This place has all the newest/coolest books in stock and they ordered a book for me that wasnt already in the store. They also have a great selection of artsy/fun/unique cards for various occasions. Definitely worth popping in to peruse if youre in the area!

Definitely cute little independent bookstore. They dont have a big selection but Im sure they could order whatever you wanted if you were staying in town. There was a huge selection of childrens books though. So if you have a child I highly recommend you bring them here. Overall very nice, tiny shop.

The selection is well curated, and the sales staff is helpful. There is an incredible selection of childrens books as well, thoughtfully selected. A real gem of an independent bookstore. They are also more than willing to order whatever you need.

Small locally owned independent bookstore in the heart of Headhouse Square. While the space itself is small, it is well-organized and offers a wide selection of books in a variety of genres. I was very happy to see a Paddington Bear plushie sitting in an armchair right by the window, so naturally, I got a picture of him, and no one in the store made a fuss about it. So if youre not a slave to your e-reader or need to find a tangible copy of a book, give this shop a chance...you could leave pleasantly surprised!
