Fabulous selection of books, including huge kid section. Large LGBTQ selection, multiple books with characters of color, carefully curated by experienced staff. And if you cant make it to their store, order online by clicking on their website and going to the bookshop.org website, really easy and also supports the book store. I love this store.

Love shopping local and the store is adorable! They don’t often have the book I’m looking for, but it’s easy to order, they respond to email quickly, and their contactless pickup during the pandemic has worked flawlessly.

Quaint little bookshop. The options are rather limited at times, but the effort put into it is amazing. Staff is friendly and makes small talk with the customers. They have all sorts of little trinkets and book-related objects/kits when you walk in the door that are ever-so-tempting... a beautiful neighborhood bookshop.

Wonderful, cozy little book store. This is the kind of place you go to forget about life for a while. Theres even a couch upstairs where you can get lost in a novel on a rainy day. I cant wait to visit again!

A lovely, little, neighborhood bookstore--the kind all neighborhoods should have. GOOGLE! Please fix _your_ information about them...you say theyre open till 6 p.m. on Sunday, while in fact they close at 4! Their website says so, as does the sign in their window...just you are off.

Love this local neighborhood bookstore. Nice broad selection especially including childrens books. Helpful staff and they will order what they dont have in stock. I like the frequent buyer discount and I often walk out with a nice card or two in addition to books

Really nice little independent book store. Something I thought was long gone from the city. Talked a long time with woman who ran it and she gave me lots of recommendations for new reads. She knows her store and seems to know almost every book in there. I will be back, it was a joy.

Great selection of books and a great atmosphere. So wonderful to still have a local bookshop like this. Community events and books by local authors make them a real centerpiece of the community.

Long live the independent bookstore! Small yet well-organized and packed with a wide selection of books in a multitude of genres. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly employee who was quick to inform me of the section of the store where I could find my books of choice; however, I discovered upon my entry that there was a kids storytime/song session going on, so I didnt want to get in their way. Though since Mt. Airy is such a great neighborhood for families with young children, its great to have a local spot that features something for the whole family!

Does not have the biggest selection of books. Good for small press and democratic books. Staff is willing to order what ever you want them too. Friendly people and know the layout of their store.

Wonderful little locally-owned bookstore. With more and more bookstores dying off it is of the utmost importance to support bookstores such as this. Not only is it a charming space, they offer many different community-related events.

I gave them a 5 because they do a lot with a small, welcoming space. Curated book selection and well worth the trip.
