The Pep Boys are Schizophrenic !!I recently went to a location with a brand new coupon for 15% off for wiper blades. But the nonchalant clerk said the system would not allow him to apply the coupon, and there was nothing he could do about it. His co-worker chimed in to say Pep Boys retail is no longer Pep Boys retail. Yet I was standing in a Pep Boys with a recent coupon emailed to me. What is going on with this company???[Note this is a re-post deleted from a different email account]So the corporate office referred the complaint over to the local location store, whose retail manager called me and identified the store as Auto Plus, and said its been that for a year, and that he has issues with coupons. He just offered to honor the coupons. Why would I go back there. I long since bought the wipers elsewhere. No real explanation if Auto Plus as a policy honor Pep Boys coupons since it looks like they are Pep Boys (no apparent signs in the store that they are Auto Plus). To me, this is a corporate problem, and still a mess!
My husband and I bought four new tires a few weeks ago. We got a flat tire and my husband pulled out a wood chip. When we took it in and the person put a spare on it he said it was a defect from the little plug thingy. And that the next day they would have a tire in for us of the same. You could feel air coming out, anyways, We had some problems because when my husband came in they said the would chip was not the problem and it was going to cost us an additional $60 because the warranty would not totally cover it. I have never had this happen and I have bought four sets of tires from so many places over the years but never HERE.. but because I wanted to get good tires I thought I would give Pep Boys a try. The service people were rude other than the one person putting on the tire. I do not plan to recommend this place to anyone and I’m going to go on Facebook and let all my friends and family know in the world. I can see why your ratings are low and I only gave you one star and I felt like I didn’t even want to give that one. This is from a past restaurant manager who had to deal with a lot of complaints and I don’t like to complain and I usually don’t but we spent a lot of money on these tires. Doubt I’ll hear from anybody on this one. Have a nice
I’m in Tyler, Texas and I wouldn’t recommend this place of business to anyone.Theyre liars as well as scammers. Actually paid for a job that wasn’t done. Then had to pay another mechanic shop to fix my front passenger sensor that they tore up. Why? When the problem was in the back of the car. Now next week I’m going to have to get the repair done to my car that they didn’t do. It’s sad that there’s dishonest people out here working on people’s cars and they have no clue what to do. Lying saying they do. I’m going to every online media site to give a review on this store. Please take your vehicles somewhere else.
I go to the Pep Boys location in Escondido, CA regularly for routine maintenance and they are excellent. They got me in at short notice today for a tire replacement. The staff is always friendly and professional! I hope this will reach their corporation office.
Ending this long story, I went down 2 days later and replaced the alternator in the same spot they had parked it. It took me 45 minutes to do the repair. Now if you didnt know, auto work is charged at a set rate judging by the initial cost this paid maybe 3 hours labor. I did it in 45 minutes on the street. So that pace in a shop is very efficient. Pretty good profit, but apparently not enough for these thieves. I say thieves because I explained to them that the job they were describing was not what was needed. I have a transversely mounted engine. There was no need to take the entire front of the vehicle off and also that would lower your productivity. I was able to repair the alternator without taking apart the front of the vehicle, in their parking lot. The only good reason to even suggest such a thing is to pad the bill. The average consumer would never know, the work they were describing was unnecessary and probably agree to the extra charge. Not only was my time wasted, but I find these actions to be dishonest and a ruse to get more money. I am highly disappointed with the service I received. I actually went to another Pep Boys by me to get the battery. Service like this is what gives Pep Boys and good mechanics a bad name. They should be embarrassed.
VERY POOR SERVICE VERY IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE. NEVER TRUST AND GO THERR.I had an appointment today, I gone inside lobby, waited and waited, nobody paid attention. As last I gone to the counter. When she asked, how can I help. I told the problem and mentioned that I explained the problem when I made the appointment.Today she said, we don’t do this type of service. I asked her, you should have told me the day I made appointment to save my 2 weeks.
I usually don’t right bad reviews because I’m very understanding, but Alyssa and kieth are the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. I’m from Rhode Island but I moved to Florida. I came here to visit my family and my transmission messed up. So I contacted my insurance to see where I can go. They gave me a list an I called pepboys. They were very nice at first and told them I had no problem waiting because I am very understanding and I know things happen. Three weeks pass by, nothing. Mind you I call every other day to see if they talked to my insuranceto get the process started but it took them for me to call my insurance and figure out what was the issue but they said they were waiting for pepboys to call and I called them to relay the messages and I would always speak to Alyssa but she was really no help which was understandable she probably just works the front desk but no one would call with any updates. I would literally have to call over and over and just get excuse after excuse witch was really so unprofessional and aggravating. I would never in my entire life recommend anyone to go there, I never met people so unprofessional with no consideration for someone who literally lives so far away. I had to call corporate so they can help me get my car fix and it was nooo help. Same excuses kieth gave. Mind you Keith tried to charge me to put my motor mounts in which is supposed to be free since they were changing my transmission. An I just got off the phone with corporate and they wasn’t any help so after all these weeks I’m just going to pick my car up and take my business else where.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOOOONNNNEEEE EVER GOES THERE. I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before because I believe all of them.I wish you couples rate it zero starts.
The worst experience of my life with any shop I’ve ever gone to. My car still isn’t fixed and have been lied to about parts being put in my car when they weren’t but have a work order proving they said they do the work . And don’t count on getting help from corporate wow what a joke they are they. don’t even care at all about the people getting there cars fixed . Please people trust me don’t come here!!!
Ive been having a really hard time with the manager of my local store. I called the customer service 800# and they immediately connect me to the store thats giving me such a hard time. Very frustrating. IDk whats going on. They have my tires sitting at the store, they have the wheels from my car sitting in their store. At 1:30 in the afternoon theyre telling me it will be TOMORROW till they can mount my tires. Then they call and say they dont know if they can even do it tomorrow. So I called the 800#. lot of help that was- Im still sitting here not knowing when Ill be able to get my tires mounted. They still show the tires as available today and they still have appointments open today.
Don’t buy champion batteries, had 2 replaced within one year. They tell me the third is a better quality and not from Korea. We will see. Never buy batteries again if 3rd does not last 2.5-3 years at least.
Man o man. This place is HORRIBLE. Return customers dont get treated like returning customers. As some others have mentioned, Peo Boys will charge you for work they never do.. important things to, like running a diagnostic on a check engine light, or charging you for an entire set of plig wires but only changing one or them.. and even disconnecting turn signals without telling you.. the fresh dents and scratches on my Jeep dont even even make sense as to how they got there.. but they werent there when i brought it in. GEROME ..short little black guy, was the culprit. He will look you in your face and lie without blinking. Snake oil salesman. Do not visit the store across fromDOBBINS Air base on Cobb Pkwy Store #106. They are all crooks. You have been warned.
I took my truck in for brake service. I came out with a 2300.00 bill. I was charged $118.00 for an extended warranty I didn’t approve. When the lady went to refund it, she charged my card again for another $118 warranty. They eventually got it right and put the money back on my card. They charged me for a gallon of antifreeze which my vehicle didn’t need because I put a gallon of coolant in it the day before I took it over there. I was charged a $35 shop fee. Again.. something I wasn’t made aware of. The battery light was on in my truck and they told me the alternator was over charging. So they charged me $494 for a refurbished alternator and it still didn’t fix my problem. If I ever break down in the parking lot of a pep boys, I’ll pay to have it towed somewhere else.
Very poor customer service. I ordered tires on September 6th. I called a week later to find out if the tires have been shipped because I had an appointment to put them on on September 20th. Today is September 17th and when I call to find out if my tires had been shipped customer service informed me that they did not have the tires in stock and they had to contact the manufacturer to have them shipped and theyve not ship them yet. You would think as a corporation you would reach out to your customers to let them know this information.
DO NOT USE PEP BOYS!!!!!!!! They deserve 0 stars tbh! They hire anyone to work on ur car these people are horrible I should not have to take another day off work to come back to fix the problem you were suppose to fix! 0 STARS!
I bought 5 golf cart batteries that were supposed to be 8 volt. They gave me the supposed 8 volts and I was on my way. I installed the batteries only to find they were the wrong batteries. I called back and went to the store to get the right batteries. They told me sorry they are not doing anything for me because the store was closing. I guess I will be seeing the Salisbury Store in small claims court very soon! I will not be screwed out of $700 for this stores mistake!
Appointment for new tires and alignment was for 8am, by 11:30 I was told they only had 3 tires but the 4th one was on the way. At 2:30 I called for an update and again I was told my tire was on its way and would there in an hour. This is beyond ridiculous and completely unprofessional
The most horrible experience Ive ever had in my life. After 3 days of returning I think Im finally getting my AC repaired. Day 1- Too busy, come back tomorrow. Day 2 - After one and one half hours the guy comes out and tells me my engine is ok but I need new tires in front. I said youve got to be kidding me. Im here for ac repair. He takes me in to talk to the mechanic. Mechanic complains front end doesnt communicate with mechanics. He hates working here. Have to order the ac blower I need. Come back 3rd day. Wrong blower recieved. Reordered and Will have new part by 11 AM. Hopefully its getting repaired properly now. I will never do business with Pep Boys again. Loser non customer focused business.
I made an appointment for 4:00 today. Tow truck pulled up and was told they couldn’t honor the appointment - the one worker left said everyone had quit that morning. This was in Collierville. Then I got an email that they were sorry that ‘I missed my appointment and to reschedule’. This would’ve been my first time patronizing them but never again based on my own experience as well as there horrendous reviews. Next door at Firestone, I was in and out within 45 minutes. There were other customers that experienced the same @ PB.
Horrible customer service...no one calls you back when you take your cars in for service. They never answer the phone when you call to see if work was completed. We will never use them again...even if it was free!!!
I took my car to the Pepboy on Elston to get an oil change. When I picked up my car it wouldnt start. They said that I need a Ignition Cylinder which I said is find. I call them the next day to see if my car is ready. They tell me that the Ignition Cylinder didnt come with a key and that I needed to get a locksmith to make me a key. I told them that doesnt make any since. Theyre telling me that it is my problem. Please dont take your car to Pepboy for service.
I posted this days ago and it says I reviewed them already but my post was deleted. I never felt so disrespected by a company. I first dealt with pep boys in Hazlet with my ‘89 jimmy. The brakes were spongy. It stayed there 2 days and I got my rear drums changed! Bearing seal and axel. Got it back and exactly the same as I brought it in. After spending like $1k. Call them back and it stays there for 2 more days. They actually figure the issue out. A leak from n a hose and do not charge me because they realize they messed up. I brought my 2015 f-250 super duty for play in the steering wheel. So ent 1800 for a u joint and dtag link: I got it back worse then when I sent it. Steering is looose, still a sound in the wheel and now I bounce all over when I hit a bump. Been calling corporate for over a month. They always say I’ll get a call never do. Then when I call back they say they called me. I offered my call log. Nobody ever calls but they say they did. Forward me to district manager. No answer. N call back. Regional manager.., no call back. I’ve never in my life ever experienced this. I work in the worst environment in Nyc and get better service. Makes me think of Michel Douglas I “falling down”. Avoid any of f these service centers like the plague. The issue is getting worse and there was s 0 help. Horrible!
I went to a Pep Boys in Philadelphia for a loose front panel to be reattached to my car. When it was time to leave, I was given a duplicate key with the buttons missing. The Assistant Service manager stated the key fell on the ground and the rubber membranes fell out. He said that a front cover would be ordered from Amazon and refused to replace the key. I asked to see the membranes that had fallen out of the key. He said that they could not be found.I filed a police report with the location of the Pep Boys and description of the incidence. I had to to contact a locksmith to give me a new key. The total cost was $200.00. I am requesting full reimbursement for this key.ThisI have photos of the key with the missing membranes. It is truly amazing. This was a simple car repair with this added bonus.
I I love your store when I live up North now I live in Myrtle Beach South Carolina I would love to see a store here. Because a lot. Of. People are moving here. From the, North. Please thi,k about it and thanks you for your time
I took my car to the bel air MD location at 11:30 am to have one of my tires replaced. I called around 2:00 and the manager said they have not gotten to it yet. I called again at 6:00 and was told the manager forgot about my car ams the techs and manager are no longer there. No one even called to tell me they didn’t work on my car. I will not be going back to pep boys and I will not recommend them. How can a manager forget to work on a vehicle that was sitting there all day??????
We dropped off my daughters car today at 1 pm for a brake inspection. We received a text message stating the break service was complete and the car could be picked up at 6pm. My daughter catches a Uber to pep boys only to find the garage doors closed and her car nowhere in site! When she goes into the office the young lady tells my daughter they were not able to complete the inspection and she will have to come back Monday. First of all how do you keep someone car without their permission! Second why was there no phone call made. My daughter was barely able to grab her laptop out of her own car. We took her car to pep boys as soon as she made it into town hoping to get it looked at today. We asked the gentleman Hunter if they would be able to look at the car today and he confirmed that they would. Now my daughter has paid 2 Uber fees and has no car nor clothes for this holiday weekend!!! We were scheduled to be in Tulare tomorrow for My mom’s 70yh surprise birthday party. Now we don’t have our 2nd car to legally take all the grandkids to My mothers .70th surprise party. We are beyond disappointed in this service pep boys. No one in our family will ever do business with you guys. We are praying for a miracle, my mom has already lost 2 sons this year. So this surprise party is everything to usHERE IS AN UPDATE. Pep boys replaced 2 of my daughters tires free of charge.
After 4 months of my truck taken to Pep Boys in Fayetteville, NC, and being charged over $1,500.00 for a fuel pump that the mechanic told me with a service manager present, that he didnt change my pump. The manager told me that a new pump will be put in. 4 times that I was told my truck was repaired and ready for pickup, it was towed back because my vehicle still wouldnt start with the same original problem. Finally after having the truck for 4 weeks on the fourth time in for repair, I was to that it was the spark pulse causing the problem.I just picked up the truck with the new spark plugs and its running great.I expect a total refund for a fuel pump that was misdiagnosed by your mechanic.
They replaced my breaks 2 weeks ago and didnt put on correctly my car started shaking while doing 50mph.
If I could give a -1 rating I would!!Horrible, disrespectful and rude service! This pic is staff member (Management parked in posted handicap spot) 🤦♀️Come on self entitled staff get your ACT TOGETHER!
On the Thursday 7:35 am on the 13th of May I dropped my car off at Pep Boys for service. My check engine light was on. after calling at the end of the work day because I had heard from no one, I was told I needed a sensor on the catalytic and stabilizer bars. I agreed to fix it. I was told to pick my car up the next day on the 14th. I called on the 14th in the late afternoon, and was told it was not ready to pick it up the following day. I eventually pick eventually picked my car up on Sunday the 15th at 6:27pm. Inspite of requesting an inspection, I was told it could no be honored at pep boys I needed to return in a different day. I drove to Jiffy Lube the very next day and had my car inspected. 2 hrs post inspection my check engine came on. After finally getting a diagnosis today, June 5th, I now need a whole catalytic converter! Are you kidding me! After paying 875.00 for the service on the 15th of May you would think that as a mechanic it would have been more professional to maybe make the suggestion to replace the whole converter! You tell people when they call, yes bring your car in, we got you! You keep it 3 days take 875.00 only yo tell me I need to replace and pay in addition to what was paid?I Will Never Trust Pepe Boys Again..Not to mention 495.00 for the labor and you had my car three days!
Bought new tires, was given the option of 1 year road side assistance. When to website to sign up for it, said it could not be completed. Called customer service waited 45 mins for a call back after the option to be called back instead of waiting on the phone. Person took my info and right before everything was complete, the phone hung up. So I called again, another hour wait for a call back, person again took my info and said a file would be sent to the “roadside assistance people” to have them “figure out how to sign me up”. They don’t have a call back number for said roadside assistance people. I decided to call corporate... no human option kept hanging up on me. This was a service that you offered but won’t let anyone sign up for it. Boo to you
Poor serviceTried to sell me something I didnt needI know because I had my car checked somewhere else.
Pep boys is total garbage!!!! I purchased brand new tires from them in May 2020, the car has hardly been driven, got in the car to drive the tire was on flat. inflated the tire and took it back to them because I purchased the road hazard. The manager their sesy refused to honor the warranty. I called the police to report a theft and of course they advised that it is a civil matter. I owe it to myself to take this matter through the legal system just because of the blatant disregard i got from the store located in Arlington, TX on Collins street.
I took my car to Pepboys for a second job opinion than my mechanics. They agreed with my mechanic about the work that needed to be done. Which they both misdiagnosed my vehicle which I found out after I paid over $1,500. The customer service is horrible. They show no empathy and it’s very distasteful. Definitely gonna reach out to corporate because my issues and problems are still on going with the store and vehicle. Who would’ve thought a brand name like Pepboys would be such a disastrous experience
Will be Contacting you about the Crestwood IL Pep Boys They Had My Car For Over Two Weeks. They So Called Fixed it The Next Day I Brought it Back to them with the same Problems. Four Days No One Give me a Call so when I call I get Nothing but we looking it to what the problem. I Paid Them $788 My Car Should be Top Priority!!!
Absolutely the worst, had an 1100 appointment at 1145 I asked why my car hadn’t been in the shop yet, got nothing but attitude from the manager! Took my car and left. I’ll bring it to someone else, never going back
4/4/21: Zane at the Plantatio/Sunrise FL store needs to be recognized for always being professional. His female partner and service department needs another course in customer service and representation of the brand.Recognize Zane and his female partner is terrible.
My husband and I took our van to the store in 3933 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, Fl on a Saturday for brakes and new tires to make a long story short we got the van back and had to go back because the break lights were not working, than the next day on the way to work the breaks got stuck and there was smoke coming out, took the van back again and was told we needed a brake booster had already paid about 1,200.00 for the brakes and on top of that charged us another $639.00 for the brake booster took the van home and again the next day the breaks got stuck, called pep boys and they said that they did all they could and that it probably needs the brake hose I told the manager that How is it that it needs something else and they could no or fix the problem our van was in good condition when we went there it only needed brakes and a tire, we took the van somewhere else and it turned out that they had put in the brakes backwards and the brake booster backwards, this is very negligent of them I called corporate to make a complaint and no one has called me back . Don’t go to Pep Boys they don’t know what they are doing? And believe me I will be contacting the better business bureau.
I am upset and discussed with the treatment and service I’ve had a call and complaints in since last Thursday and have been trying to talk to the area manager BobbyWas told Friday he would call me by today.
Holy cats! I had tires delivered they but them on no problem. The problem started with the struts and alignment, 6 trips 2 locations 3 days and 16 hours of my time wasted. I dont understand this at all I wont be back!!
March my car was driving sluggish I had it towed to pep boys they checked my warranty with them and said it expired I said ok they changed me 100.00 for a diagnosis pep boys said I had to take it to the original place were I was getting the work done so I did they quoted me 1600.00 I said ok it was ready in two days I picked the car up and drove it for two days on the second day I was going to Dallas to drop my daughter off on the way back the car overheated I was stranded for hours I finally got a tow which cost me 200.00 and I still had to find a way back 4 days later they said my motor was gone you diagnosis my care i paid you and now you soay there is nothing you can do please do not use pep boys they screw up and they dont stand by their work
This company sucks. They dont have long to survive it looks like to me with all of the one stars. They overcharge and automatically tack on $90 for an extended warranty for labor. You only get a 90 day warrenty on labor. They dont ask if you want it or not. Bad news.
I called Pep Boys to get a price on changing my headlight, I had the headlight as well. They wanted almost $150 for this sevice. I was thinking that the dealership would cost more it didnt. It cost $24.00. Pep boys is a rip off! Do not use them to change your headlights.
Too long of wait 5 hours for car to get done...slow as molasses
I brought my car at 8:30 am to get the starter fixed at the Pep Boys in Hudson Mall 701 NJ -440 South in Jersey City. I was told that a diagnostic was needed to be done and they will call me with the results. I waited and no one called. I decided to call at around 1 pm and asked what were the results of the diagnostics. I was told that they have not even touched my car. Then I waited until 2:30 pm and went in person. I asked the associate if my car has been tested. The associate went to the back of the service area to get an answer. The associate told me that in another 2 1/2 hours it will be checked. I was angry. I asked the associate to get my keys and i left. I was angry for two reasons. If they could not handle the amount of work they had for today, they could of told me that it was too busy and then I would of taken my business somewhere else. Now, I still have my car issue and all mechanics in the area are either closing or closed. Wasted a whole day for nothing. The second reason is that no manager or supervisor came to me and asked why I was leaving. There is no urgency to try to save a customer from leaving. This is very Poor Customer Service! I understand that this whole pandemic situation is very stressful but it is no excuse to treat your customers the way I was treated.
Went to pep boys in Ocala FL had a 12:00 appointment, dropped car and came back at 1:00 was still in parking lot and had not been touched. Employee named Jim at this store was a total jerk not only to me but other customer. Will not ever come back to this place.
I received service a month ago from the Collierville, TN location and my vehicle was damaged. A couple weeks after the damage was done and claim was filed I called for an update on my claim and the lady who answered (very rude) told me there’s nothing she can tell me and to call corporate. Finally, 2 weeks ago a woman called and left a vmail saying she was calling in regards to my claim and to call back whenever I got the message. I’ve been calling literally every day multiple times a day and she will not answer or call me back. I finally called Corporate and they transferred me to the “claims supervisors” named Mario Westbrook. I left a voicemail on his phone and haven’t heard anything since or gotten any return phone call. I left a review on the Collierville locations page yesterday and of course I finally received another call from “katilla” (spellcheck) this morning but of course I missed it but called back several times already and no answer. Its been over a month and my vehicle is still not address OR repaired. And I have yet to even speak to 1 single person who can move the matter forward. I want the damage to my vehicle repaired. I have never had an experience or customer service like this. Unbelievable is an understatement! After the review I left on the Collierville location, pepboys responded with their general response and apology and told me to email them about the matter. I’ve emailed AND STILL have not heard anything.
Johan handled my issue very quickly and professionally. He helped me find my road hazard warranty for my tire that blew out. Thank you so much!
I got 4 tires replaced on my car but I only needed 2. The two good tires I told the technician and the manager to put the two good tires that I had in my trunk. I get there to pick the car up and they told me the tires was in my trunk. I looked there but there were no tires. I go back and ask him about it and he said theyre in a pile of junk tires. I said well can you have someone to get them. He said sure, he goes back there cannot find my tires... Comes back and tells me Im sorry theres nothing I can do .I said you have stolen.. I told him I would like to be a reimbursed for my tires and he said he can not do that.. He told me sorry you going have to take that as a lost... The address is 2304 Bearss Avenue Tampa FL 33613. I do not recommend anybody going there. I believe they sell your used tires to the used tire shop. Thats why they did not give me my tires back.
I ordered 2 important parts for my car through their web site and needed to put them on at the same time I paid for them and they told me they would be in the store the next day. I received an email the next day telling me my parts were at my store and ready to be picked up I arrived at the store just before closing. When they looked up my parts from the order # I gave them the one guy who helped me first admitted he didn’t know what they were another guy came and got my one part from the shelf but said I had to order the other part I told him I already did online and received an email saying they were ready. He than told me that the corporate office sends out the emails but doesn’t know what inventory each store has. So what is the point of ordering them online. I had to cancel my mechanic until the part comes in hoping he will still be available than not to mention I now have to arrange and pay for another ride to your store when the part is available. This has been a real hassle for me and your employee was very aloof about the whole I would not recommend this service to anyone
My passenger side wheel bearing went out on my 93 300zx and I wasn’t able to drive it so I brought the hub to pepboys in Kissimmee to see if they can press a bearing in for me and they said yes. So $50 was spent to press the bearing in and when I got it back 2 days later I come to find out the entire hub assembly wasn’t sitting properly at all, their technicians installed my ABS tone ring and seals upside down and pressed the bearings halfway in and also damaged my spline and my ABS tone ring so I ended up spending $683 at a different shop to have them fix Pepboys in Kissimmee mistakes or carelessness. You guys have one the worst technicians I’ve done business with hands down.
I went to the Pepboys in Birmingham, AL in April of this year for a complete set of tires, etc., there also was an offer for a $120 gift card from Pepboys Rebate Center. I had to miss another day off work because the day of my appointment they discovered that staff had forgotten to order my tires. I have also been calling the rebate center since August and cant get an honest answer about my gift card. I understand we are in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic but its nearly November and Im receiving the same lies from different Supervisors and theyre stating that they cant locate the notes in the system from prior conversations. Everyone tells me its being printed and should be mailed out in 4-5 weeks. They say there is no complaint center and when I request to speak with someone above them the call is disconnected.
I complained earlier today about the pep boys at 2633 East Tremont Ave Bronx NY because my daughter Nia Johnson took her car there at 856am however we didnt get service until 418pm. Once my daughter received service we were very satisfied Tech Rodney H that assisted my daughter Nia Johnson went over and beyond, the cashier Luis L. was very helpful also. I would recommend pep boys at 2633 East Tremont Avenue.
I bought 4 new tires and had them installed. The following day I was on my way home from work and my back tire almost fell off. I stopped and had to tighten. When I got home I checked the rest. 2 of the remaining 3 were loose. This place is dangerous, if this happened to an older person or a child the results could have been way worse.
Made appointment for oil change at 1030am for June 30 2020. Arrived at the forest ave store in Staten Island New York and told there are 7 cars ahead of me. I said to the manger I had a appointment and would have to wait. At 1200 asked the guy how many cars are ahead of me said one and I told him I have another appointment at130. At 1245 I see them take another car into the bay to work on and I go to the desk. I asked if I could come back after my appointment and still have to wait he said yes it’s first come first serve. So I said way do appointments if you don’t honor them and take them on first come first serve rule. I call your 1800 number your customer service rep said that’s on true that appointments have priority over walk ins. So someone is not telling the truth here. I love going to your store to get products but after today I am really turned off to your company
I went into your burlington nj store on rt 130. I wanted tires for my car and my Moms car. I stood at the tire desk for 10 minutes. Not one person there asked if i needed help. Then bout 2 minutes later, I was asked if I need help. I said yes. But NOT ONE PERSON HELPED!!!
Since June of 2020 till 12/12/20 I have been in pursuit of obtaining a replacement for a battery warranty unbelievable customer support why would anyone consider being a pepboys customer
Worse place to take your car paid for brand new tires and kept have slow leak problems with the right front tire so I took back to be replaced and the manager ANGELO told me my brand tire wasn’t in the store so he had to order it told to come back the next day and it would be there returned the next day and was told by ANGELO that my tire wasn’t there yet ask me to come back later on and it will be there I was told again to come back on Sunday and he will have the tire when I returned on Sunday ANGELO told me that my tire wasn’t in yet and the delivery driver did not work on Sundays and to come back Monday and the tire will be there by 12 noon again returned Monday evening and my tire was still not at the store I ask what was going on with the delivery and ANGELO told me that he didn’t know what was going on with the driver. This is the Brookhaven Pennsylvania store # 3
I’m not a happy customer bad experience I had bought a battery from this company within a year or a little less. I have been having bad experience with the battery about a week I’ll sell have to be getting a jump pretty much every other day sometimes twice within a day finally I have some time to come over and explain that I will need to exchange the battery. They took the battery somewhere to the back and came back to me and tell me that the battery is good that the battery has to show that it has bad cells it will fail the test I told him I charge the battery by driving the vehicle to them and me removing the battery the battery will be fully charged at the moment their response was their policy is if the battery is good cannot be replaced or exchange that does not make sense to me they just did a simple test. A test that anyone can do I also work for a repair shop at service department dealership when I have a customer with a bad battery on their vehicle I will tell the tech Mutual times because if my customer comes and tells me that they’ve been jumping their battery many times they have to be a problem somewhere either the vehicle is creating the problem or the battery is really not good and at the end we find out that it is the battery this will go even further up to corporate I’m not finished yet...I really do not recommend to anyone Not after this experience. And the way they treat you there it’s like they look at you open down like if they’re not happy where they work at if they’re not happy where they work at they should not have people working thereIf corporate gets to see this and read this please feel free to contact me because I will continueThank you very muchThis location is on East Tremont Bronx New York
In our opinion when it comes to being untruthful about your product and service you really take the cake hands down. Also in our opinion if you were to ever tell the truth you would cease being Pepboys, because it would actually mean that somebody else bought you out. Based on our experience Do not trust these people with tires, alignments, or anything automotive. And that also means do not trust them to air up your tires either. And thank you for your “canned” response. But an ongoing complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney Generals Office Consumer Protection has already been filed against you Pepboys and the BBB by me and my husband. We know just how much your “canned” apology response means to you.
It literally took almost two weeks for them change rims and tires and it only got done because I called corporate! Then I paid for my tire to get changed under warranty I was charged $203.57 only to find out after payment that they charged me for someone elses work!!! I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS EVER AGAIN!
Rip me out of 600 hundred dollars. Took my vehicle to them and instead of fixing the problem. They made me pay for the work and made the problem worse. Plus sold me a warranty for the work, that they will not honor! Total rip off. Contacted corporate office and still cannot get someone tk return my call. Been calling for 3 weeks and no one has even contacted me.
Took my car in to get what I was, 99.9 percent, sure just a dead battery replaced, or at the very least tested. After an incredibly brief electronic diagnostics exam I was told my battery was absolutely fine. The problem, supposedly, was my TIPM, aka, power module, aka fuse box. This is a 1500+ part before labor. So the price tag came out to just over 2,000 dollars. Well, of course I chose to get a second opinion. To make a long story short, I took my car elsewhere. After they listened to what I had been told by Pepboys, this dealership was wildly skeptical, to say the very least, that the issue would have been the power module, since the symptoms my car had were more reflective of...WAIT FOR IT...a D-E-A-D, dead battery! Plus a loose and corroded starter cord. Before labor, that is roughly a 300 dollar, or so issue. 300 vs. 2,000! So of course I go through the whole process of confronting Pepboys about the issue. The manager says call corp. after trying to offer me a free oil change, (as if Id let the people who tried to jip me the first time touch my car again). I call corporate to get the 53.00 dollars I spent back for them to diagnose my car. I was instructed to wait 48 business hours for someone else to call me, to try and come up with a solution that works best for me. So basically they can try and snake over 2,000 dollars out of my pocket, but cant cough up less than 60 when they were clearly in the wrong???
I dont think PB has any customer service reading any Emails or dont care, I emailed a complaint 8 days ago and I HAVE YET TO GET A RESPONCE! I had a rack n pinion replaced 2 years ago. Then again 6 weeks ago and now It needs another one? They made my tires wear unusual as well. (PB tires as well) Ive spent thousands with PB in the lastI guess Ill look for other sites I can post to and maybe get answers.
The corporate office doesnt care about how their managers treat customers and call them names
One star because it wont take no stars. The Everett Massachusetts location is simply a RIP OFF. Made my granddaughter wait 5 days for a part then changed the price at pickup then asked for her mother to change her review. An absolute disgrace to your company. I will not even drive by this hole because that may cost me money. Maybe a corporate review is in order. You literally should be very embarrassed to have these people employed by you who are stealing for you. I let it go to see how far they would prey on a single woman and they went further. I will not reply to anything or anyone from your company as I will have to check my pockets after. Too bad for any good employees there because the bad ones vastly overshadow them. As my mom would say good riddance to bad trash.
It took 4.5 hrs to get a brake change which lasted 2 days because it was done improperly. After losing a day of work because the brakes were completely burned and the rotar was destroyed they said they make it up to me by fixing thier mistake free of charge. By the way that generous offer came from the GM who was completely ok with my loss of a day of work because hes missed days. Terrible place to take your car unless you have a lot of time and patience.
Treated me like dirt and told me to leave, o but they gave me 2 oil changes, Id rather see the employee fired, but I could be wrong and they just dont train the employees right. When my warranty is over Ill never do any business there any more, sad.
I’m very unhappy with the services that I received from pep boys in st. Charles il. I took my vehicle here to get serviced and they only made it worse but destroying my vehicle and over charging me. I took my vehicle to another mechanic shop only for them to tell me the same problems and that pep boys did a horrible job. I do not like to waste my time or money so before I began to put in law suit I will take the necessary steps in beginning that process if I do not see a resolution or my problems being handled. I’m looking forward to hearing from pep boys ASAP.
I will never buy another set of tires from Pep Boys. Worse tires I have ever had! The lack of good customer, service from two different locations in Ocala, FL., has also been a deciding factor to go elsewhere for my next set of tires. This was my first time using this company. It will be my last. The lack of professionalism should be a concern to the corporate office, but in my opinion, it is apparent they do not care either. A very unsatisfied customer M. Johnson
Pep boys damaged my rim and ripped me off. Never gave me written estimate. Then charged me way more. I sat there almost 6 hrs. Never recieved alignment report either said printer broken. Thwn after a week so called service manager says will take care of but instead lied and wont respond. I am handing this over to my attorney. I have all the texts from pep boys manager. This place is not right. Stay away..I also emailed these guys after they said to and no response still. I have went to the BBB and I am going to file small claims u crooks
I really regret giving the Pep Boys on San Mateo a good review about the engine they installed on my truck two months ago. I have had nothing but problems with my engine ever since I left the store. The first problem was a bad exhaust leak from a bolt they forgot to put in the exhaust manifold. This made my daughter and I get slight carbon monoxide poisoning because the cab of the truck was filled with exhaust. I noticed the person that test drove my truck changed the radio station and the music was really loud when I started my truck. If he would have test drove the truck correctly he would have noticed the exhaust leak. Two weeks after that my fuel rail came undone when we where on the highway. This caused gas to leak all over the top of my engine and my truck almost blew up with my entire family in it. We had to call the NM State Police to come rescue us from freezing to death. It was 7pm and 18 degrees outside and we were far away from any towns. I took my truck in for my first oil change last week and found bolts missing and dents in my oil pan. I took my truck back and Pep Boys is refusing to accept responsibility for neglecting to inspect their work. I asked them why they didnt notice the dents in the oil pan and the manager said they just couldnt see them. I told them a real professional should notice something like that, not to mention all the other problems I had. When they informed me that they would not be fixing my oil pan problems I told them I was going to have to hire a lawyer to sue them for criminal negligence. I was kicked out of the store by the manager after I mention my lawyer. My wife has the entire conversation on video. I have contacted the corporate office and my lawyer. I am warning everyone I know about this experience. It took six weeks for them to put the engine in and they couldnt even inspect it right!
I took my car into one of your Pep Boys location for a routine service (2160 N Alma School Rd, Chandler Arizona 85224). What was supposed to be a routine oil change ended up turning into a nightmare and I hold Pep Boys 100% responsible. My service manager at the store was Daniel Peclet and the mechanic that worked on my car was Richard R.I dropped my car off at 11:25:17. I picked up my vehicle at 4:35 pm and upon entering my vehicle I noticed that there was a crack on my windshield that was longer than a foot. I immediately exited my vehicle and went into the store to let the store manager aware of the issue. The store manager claimed to have checked the cameras and said that they could not be held responsible for this issue. Upon further investigation of my issue I also found that the front and rear driver side wheels do not have my Toyota Prius hubcaps. I have taken my Toyota Prius to Pep Boys since I purchased my vehicle and I am sure you will find the entire history of my car in your records. I need Pep Boys to immediately rectify the situation. The pandemic is no excuse for any of your employees to take advantage of their customers. I am a hardworking individual and I refuse to be given this treatment by a company that I have been extremely loyal to.
I paid $1171.73 to have my car fixed at Bridgewater Promenade in Bridgewater, NJ and was scammed. Do not go there!. They lied about giving me an oil change, changing my timing belt, and coolant system. They replaced nothing. I took my car to get a diagnostic test done at the dealer, and turns out they hadnt did anything of which they said they did. Im currently trying to get a refund so that I can get my car properly fixed and there giving me a hard time. They took full advantage of me during this pandemic. I rely on my car because Im an essential worker, and they have completely ruined it. Im so disgusted
My dad took his truck in today to the Pep Boys in Dothan, Alabama, to have a compressor replaced for the air conditioner. At 9:00 a.m. the manager, Mason, said the truck would be ready by lunch, but that he would call and keep him updated on the progress. We went back to the store around 3:00 p.m. after Mason failed to call with any updates. Mason then stated that they had ordered the wrong part and had to reorder. He apologized and said he would call when it was ready. We didn’t get another call until after 6:00 p.m. And Mason, that was supposed to keep us updated, never once called and left, leaving a mechanic to call to tell my dad his truck was FINALLY finished. Not that it matters or will cause any impact, but we will not be returning. The manager is spineless and has no idea how to deal with customers. It’s no wonder Pep Boys has such a poor rating.
No customer service. I took in my tire to get it replaced because of a flat. I bought the warranty on them. It has been 4 days that this issue is not resolved. Finally I was told the tire was discontinued and can be replaced with another similar. It took them 4 days to give a response. Poor poor service. Poor employee seemed he was overwhelmed with lots of work.
They have had my vehicle for almost a week and never ordered a part needed to fix it. Got ahold of the dealership they work with and they said no PO in system. When Pep boys finally called back, they said their entire crew quit and walked out, which is why my car hasnt been finished. Beyond upset and with a vehicle I hadnt driven less than 24 hrs before there was a mechanical problem. The night manager called back and stated he is making my car a first priority but that doesnt excuse the fact no one did their job for nearly 3 days until I called back to back. At one point I called and was placed on hold for 20+ min I eventually hung up.Location: Miamisburg, OHUPDATE: Review seen and email sent to the information given below.
Pensacola fl had hurricane Sally and stuff was every where on roads etc etc,, I drive trucks and had deliver tires to many of there store,,I went too 2 of there stores 9/21 and all I needed was to put a tire on my rim that I already, had a tire n I bring the tire n rim off my truck to them ..and,they said no cause Corp policy I understand the policy but pensacola is,in need fot help ..This was a act of God and they, didnt not want to help . They wanted me to buy there tire or they, only deal with there tires only, in this case of Sally they should, had, open arms, and God would had bless them .I have sick parents so if,I had to get some medical stuff for them I would had been in trouble if that was me working I would had help cause God would had rewarded me not MAN or a policy this world is so sad every 1
Been waiting for a refund and going through the process since around may. 2 months ago they said everything was approved in the check should be in the mail any day. my best advice is if you have to deal with customer service continually be on it and calling constantly because it seems like their hope is that you just get frustrated and forget about whatever it was that was the initial issue
I would like to begin with stating I am not complaining about any employee but strictly the services and policies of Pep Boys as a whole. I purchased a set of tires AND a warranty in July 2018, its now February 2019 and I had a blowout on the freeway. I thought, no problem, my tire purchase came with free roadside assistance and with the warranty, I should be back on the road later on today at no additional cost. Boy was that an incorrect assumption. After being towed to the nearest Pep Boys location, I was told that my tire was not in stock and the nearest location that had the tire was in Nashville, TN, which would take 3-4 business days to ship (even though Kuhmo Tires warehouse is located right here in GA) or they could have the store in Buford (18 miles away) deliver a similar tire by Goodyear the next day. With this option, I was offered to leave my vehicle overnight. I simply requested that the spare donut tire be installed, it was and I was on my way. The next day, I decided to go to the Buford location (8 miles from where I live), in hopes of having the correct replacement tire shipped to this store instead. I am now being told since they do not ship tires, I would need to pay for the shipping, installation, labor and prorated amount for the tread used on the 6 month old tire. I went to the website and read the warranty for the tires and nowhere does it stipulate that I am to pay for shipping, installation or labor. My question is, why would I be sold a warranty on tires that are not kept in stock, then told I needed to not only have the tire replaced at a prorated amount (which was clearly not the verbiage used at the time of purchase) but also be responsible for the shipping AND wait 4 days?!?! That is the epitome of horrible customer service. I will send corporate an email as instructed in the previous list of unsatisfactory reviews but wanted to possibly warn any other unsuspecting consumers of what can be expected from this warranty.
My daughter took her 2013 Ford Escape 1.6 Ecoboost to have the radiator and timing belt done at Pep Boys 2000 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703. They promised to have the car back the next day, but kept it for weeks, and when the car was ready, the timing was incorrectly set. A loud hissing noise was also evident on acceleration. Took it back and a few days later they said it was all fixed. She collected the car again, but the very loud hissing noise was still there..So, back it went again--this time the manager tried to give us some BS about the waste gate having to relearn the turbo boost (what boost, there isnt any!). Also she is getting random check engine lights, so not a happy camper after spending over $1K. So ...this situation is still unresolved. Pep Boys need to do the right thing and put this car right.
WARNINGMisrepresentation, incompetence and bad attitude.Pep Boys.Went in for an oil change, noticed they had a posted sign (see picture below):While handling keys and working on your vehicle, we will have several protective measures in place. At all times. We will use:Seat covers (DIDNT HAPPEN)Steering wheel covers (DIDNT HAPPEN)Disposable gloves (DIDNT HAPPEN)Wipe your car down with vehicle safe disinfectant and disinfect your keys (DIDNT HAPPEN & DIDNT HAPPEN)We walked to Arbys and returned in approximately 20 minutes, sat in the waiting room another 45 or more. When I asked Jay at the register how much longer it would be he said he was waiting for me to get back to tell me they couldnt get the oil drain plug out so they couldnt do the oil change. He had my phone number and I was in their lobby. Not sure why they waited over an hour to inform me.. I went to López automotive he removed the plug with no problem in seconds and completed the oil change in less than 15 minutes. When I asked Jay why NONE of the posted protective measures were followed he said they usually areWhen I asked Brian the person who drove our car and then another car out (not following any of the posted measures) the same question, he said I washed my hands with disinfecting soap.
Wow look at all the negative reviews. They obviously dont care anymore or they would get this under control. Even when you call in the complaint, they are either unwilling or powerless to fix. They apologize and are nice about it but nothing changes. How sad for the good people in the company that works for such poor leadership. Definitely do not believe in the Rewards program. They do everything they can to screw you out of the Reward. Time for this company to give away.
Spent over 2000 last year at pet boys, and Ill never spend another penny there. They are nothing but liars
I’ve been on hold for over an hr now, have called twice and both times it said my wait time was less then 5min. This is unexpectable, will no longer do business with them. Another thing that is very frustrating is that they are now only service based and can’t access retail transactions, meaning I hope you held on to any old recites you had or you be stuck on the phone like I am. Very poor customer service.
My car broke down 50 miles from where I live and work. Got it towed to Pep Boys in Skokie, IL. I then leave on military duty and when I got a quote that was greater than I could afford, I tell them I’ll try another place upon my return. OFFERED to pay storage fee and they respectfully declined. Even told me not to worry about it. Before I return from military duty, over the holidays mind u, I get a voicemail informing me I had several days before my car was towed. I then find a tow company to secure my car while I was away. The tow company and myself spent four days trying to contact the store. No one answers the phone. I then call customer service (got a reference number) and they proceed to tell me that the store’s phone’s were down for four days and that there was nothing they could do about my car being towed. Guess what, my car is now impounded and the manger actually states that he doesn’t know when and where it was towed and that I need to go outside and read where it was towed. The sign reads “unauthorized” cars will be towed. Mine was clearly authorized and towed despite having informed them I was away on orders and having assured me that my car could remain until I return. My question to corporate is, “will you too tell me that it’s not your problem” the way your “customer service” line and store manager told me?
If I could this company NO STARS I would. I have been taking my vehicle to my dealership for almost 2 years to get an oil change. After, relocating and dealing with other obligations I made the decision to take my vehicle to pep boys for an oil change. Not to mention this is a brand new vehicle with less than 50k miles. No issues prior to bringing my vehicle in to pep boys. Great, went into pep boys on 61st Western in Chicago for this oil change paying almost $100 for this service. After, oil change everything seemed to be fine for the first couple of days (48 hours -50 hours) but, I guess it was too good to be true. My check engine light comes on alongside with another indicator of oil with a status stating that the oil pressure is low- please turn off vehicle and engine power is being reduced. I have never had issues with my vehicle until after this oil change. Decided to take my vehicle to my dealership for them to look at it. Soon as I pulled in and explained my issue the mechanic and I lifted the hood and checked the dip stick and there was NO OIL on the stick. Also, there was oil on the oil pan. Mind you this a new vehicle with only 50k miles on it and has only been serviced by my dealership and this one time by pep boys. I called pep boys to speak to manager of service department and was told that instead of taking my vehicle to my dealership I should’ve came there for her mechanics to look at it. I explained to her that I did not have any prior issues with my vehicle until I bought it to them. She tried to convenience me that it could be anything besides the oil changed that they did which I said there was no oil on the dip stick. She told me that there was nothing she could assist me with since it has almost been a week. I also explained to her the concerns of brining my vehicle back in to pep boys due to this issue where they will only cause more issues or charge me more money for an issue that they caused due to the improper of amount of oil put in the car or no oil put in the car. Now, I’m in the process of getting my vehicle looked at with the possibility of a damaged engine on a brand new vehicle because of pep boys and hoping that a new oil change from my dealership will be on the issue with my vehicle. This is all unacceptable as my vehicle has been serviced by two companies with proof of maintenance from each one. A waste of money was spent at pep boys as I had high hopes and trust of taking my vehicle somewhere else for an oil change in confidence of not having any issues. I will never go to a pep boys again and I will not even recommend them to anyone just because they will give you all type of excuses on how it’s your fault of the issue with the vehicle or try to tell you that it’s something wrong even when there weren’t any issues before bringing vehicle in. They will take your money, blame you, and not give you a refund for the issue they have caused you. Now I’m paying additional money for pep boys issue.
Call Pep boys 1 week in advance to schedule back brakes. Ask them how long it world takes which was 2 hours . I was told to book online and I did, mark that I would be waiting on it. I get there to check in and was told I would have to wait all day. I left. Don’t book an appointment here because they do not care or want to keep a good reputation. I will tell all about this experience with Grassdale Pep boys.
Very bad customer service. My car has been at pep boys for a month and a half. I called several times. No answer. I talked to samantha and some other guy who told me that I need to talk to Kevin. Several attempts to talk to kevin. No return call from him. Finally i called surprisingly he was the one to answer the phone. I have waited patiently even until the end of our conversation when he told me in a nonchalant attitudethat he forgot about my car. Im paying for a rental out my pockets and for a car im not driving that you have they havent even started on my carr.
Do not use their ebay store! Ordered tires once and it went fine, ordered a second time 2 weeks ago and still havent been shipped. They were supposed to be here the same week and guaranteed by the next and still nothing. Customer service is a joke. They will not respond with an acceptable answer as to why they have my money but I still have no tires.
Miserable, mean, and unhelpful. Dont waste your time or money on these unprofessional and uncaring, alleged business owners. Never again.
I called your 2904 Concord Pike Talleyville, DE 19803 location on June 4, 2019, sometime between 9:30 am - 11:00 am to get a price for brakes for my car. It was the worst customer experience. Instead of the person the telephone asking me the year, make and model of my car to give me an exact price, he said it starts at $180. I asked him what about rotors, and he said it starts around $220. This is completely unacceptable. It is pure laziness on his part for not giving me an exact price. That is poor customer service. I wanted to bring my car back there because they put a tire on my car a few months ago. I will never go to Pep Boys again. I am quite sure you wont blink an eye at losing me as a customer because other people will continue to go, but I am quite sure there are others who feel the same way!
I had to choose one star they dont even deserve this.I went to a local Store in PA to have TPMS installed on tire.I asked them to install cabin filter and I asked them to not damage my dash. The filter goes behind the glove box. Well they did not damage the dash they broke the glove box. They also cross threaded my lugs.Well I got a quote for the glove box replacement from dealer and submitted to local store who sent it to their claims departmentI received an email from their adjuster which never answers her phone I must have called 10 times and left several messages and she has not called me back once.I also emailed and nothing.I called corporate to say enough is enough he tried calling her and he also got her voice mail. This was last Thursday. A week later I have heard nothing. So if you want your car damaged please go to Pep boys.Im still waiting for them to make good on the damage and the stress they are causing me.And this goes back to February
Went to the Peoria AZ location to get air in my tires, early morning. I went to the bay they request you go to for tire checks. A car was parked in front of the next bay and Louie, the general manager of the bays was working on it, 5 feet from me. After I said excuse me sir 4 times he finally acknowledged me and said it would be a moment. No problem . After he finished tinkering with the other car he walked away and made a phone call completely ignoring me. After 8 minutes I began driving off and asked Rudy the name of the rude worker and Rudy was very gracious and checked my tires. I will NEVER shop at this store even though they are less than 1/2 a mile from my home. I would give it zero stars if I could because this isnt the first time he has been so rude.
Corporate customer service cannot get me a refund due to shady business and theft and a local store in Kennesaw Georgia. It is sad that yall allow customers to be treated like this and allow management to basically rob their customers. Im in Kennesaw Georgia and the store on Cobb parkway Ive been waiting over a month for a refund for shady business they did not fixing my truck and letting me pay for a vehicle that wasnt even fixed. Had to spend $1,000 at the dealership fixing the problem that I told pep boys was the issue to begin with.
I HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH CHAMPION BATTERIES, I WENT THOUGH 3 BATTERIES ALREADY, STILL HAVE A PROBLEMS WITH BATTERIES. THEY ARE PUTTING OUT A BAD BATCH. I ASK FOR A REFUND OR STORE CREDIT, STILL REFUSE TO HELP, PEPBOYS GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. CORRECTION ELMONT LONG ISLAND LOCATION ON HEMPSTEAD AVE
My son took his care in to be looked at on a Sunday. They checked it and determined it needed CV Joints or Axles. Warranty company was closed so they would call them the next day. My son checked back with them and was told everything was good to go and he paid his 100 deductible. From then he was given the run around for days saying the mechanic was not in and we will call you back but never did. After having the car 5 days, I reached out and got the same response. The employees went as far as leaving on my hold for 20 mins and then when I called back stating they could not hear me. I was finally able to get through to the manager and he gave me the spill of different people was handling it, they were on the phone with the warranty, etc. I had to demand my car be fixed by the end of the day. When we went to pick the car up, the car would not start and service was horrible. We had to tell them the car did not come in like this and need to be returned to original state. They so call replaced a battery. I will never ever go there again or recommend them. Service is horrible.
First and definitely the last! Not even worth a single star! But thats how low I could go. You have way to many issues... I think you should re-evaluate your on line to store s#!t show.
Went to the wylie pep boys. Not only are they not wearing masks, there is black mold on the ceilings. Water marks all over the the ceiling and air vent looked black. Disappointed for the stores appearance. Would not want to bring my kids with me, ever!
Your Vendor for rebates and debit cards is not working and not honoring the rebates that Pep Boys is offering. myprepaid.info and managemycard.com is withholding money and stealing from PepBoys and its customers.
Went to a pep boys here in Dallas. for co2 sensor replacement. after 3 trips no part in stock. and 2 hours after I got the part in.they couldnt remove the old one since it was seized on. the manager Jessie then started to go into having to remove the manifold and so on. really a simple repair the mechanic didnt want to do. never go back again
