Im so thrilled I called C&D for my laundry center. I had a great experience--from the ordering to being kept informed of its arrival; to the delivery and installation. A shout-out to Leahla, very knowledgable and delightful to work with. I only wish I had found C&D sooner. I will never again deal with the nightmare that is the big box stores with their layers of subcontractors and no point person or accountability.

When no one else could secure a new Speed Queen until the following week, C&D came through in two days! Had new washer on a Saturday after going all week without one - two competitors wouldn’t commit to a delivery date due to these covid times… And did I mention $150 less??? Only suggestion is to add a cheesesteak to order for those of us coming in from the burbs or open satellite location near KOP:)

Purchased a clothes dryer lesx than a year ago. Dryer does not get hot enough to dry my clothez. They will not replace itINVOICE #17563, PURCHASE DATE JULY 22, 2020I WAS IN YOUR STORE TWICE REGARDING THIS MATTER. GOT A VERY RUDE LADY RESPONDING TO ME.

Excellent service. After lowes rescheduling my delivery 4 times I cancelled the order and called CandD. Should have called them first.

We used C&D to supply all of the appliances for our kitchen remodel. Walter and the team were great and helped us through the entire process. They were very flexible as we figured out what appliances would work best in our new space. They also helped to source the appliances we wanted, which can be a challenge with supply chain disruptions due to Covid. The delivery people were great as well. I would highly recommend going to C&D over any of the big box stores.

Walked and and only one employee cared to acknowledge me the others didint even make eye contact. The employee that did attend to me was amazing super nice, awesome prices and great customer service from that employee

Received a beautiful flier/brochure in the mail and decided to check out the website - wesellappliances.com. Great looking website, prices were competitive and so we made the trip over to there store. There is no store, its basically a storage space with two guys sitting behind computers who looked as if we were barging into their living room. There was one fridge on display and the rest were in boxes?! To make matters worse, I mentioned a few pieces I saw on the website, and the guy said Oh website is a mess - Very disappointing!

I purchased a Speed Queen washing machine from these guys recently and had a great experience. The prices were affordable and the person I spoke to on the phone was able to provide helpful advice on which models had which features.We have a house in South Philly with a very small entrance to the basement (23). These guys were able to disassemble, reassemble, and install a new full-sized unit in no time. The new washer is working great so far, so no complaints! Ill be calling these guys when its time for a new dryer.

Very happy with the installation of our new washer. However, be aware that C&D appears to be taking ZERO precautions when it comes to Covid-19. The people who arrived at my house had no masks or gloves. It should not be up to the customer to suggest they follow health guidelines during a pandemic.

Needed a old air conditioner removed and new one installed the men were great .. Fast efficient!!! Very Pleased

Dishonest business practices!!!I am very disappointed with C&DAppliances after being hit with a $75 cash charge on top of what we were originally told.We purchased a washer and dryer here because wed rather support a small business than Home Depot or Lowes. We were told delivery fee was $35 and when we asked about installation we were told it was included in the $35. (The machines we bought were the same price at home Depot, and a sign at home Depot said delivery and installation was included, but again we felt it was important to support local business and didnt mind an extra $35).We called later (after research and shopping around) to purchase the units. We payed over the phone and didnt receive an invoice or a verbal breakdown of the cost, but we did the math and the amt we were charged worked out to the two units, plus $35, plus tax. Over the phone they asked if we have a cord for the dryer, we were not sure and they said dont worry, the delivery guys can check, but they didnt mention anything about an extra charge.When the delivery guys came, they claimed their sheet just said delivery and it would be extra to purchase hoses and venting and install. He said oh unless you have $40 we can do it then he goes out to his car, comes back and says he talked with the shop and itll be $75 for everything. I explain I thought we already paid for installation and then I call the shop myself. They put me on hold for a minute and then tell me yes, its an extra $75. At this point Id rather have the things hooked up than be left with more work so I tell them to go ahead.The whole time they were very vague about what exactly the $75 covered, saying things like oh this hose is $20, this piece is $20...the $75 is mostly for partswhen theyre done I ask for an invoice and they say oh sure they can make up a receipt with the 75 on there, if I give him my email. He says I have to give him cash or call the shop back and pay over the phone. He needs that taken care of before he leaves.Meanwhile they have me sign an invoice with no prices listed, and he writes in pen cord hoses venting install $75I later received an emailed paid invoice with prices, however again dryer cord /vent bucket /hoses / setup is lumped together under one $75 charge. We didnt even receive a vent bucket since we were able to run the dryer hose outside.I expressed multiple times that this was not what I was originally told and it would have been great to know all the costs upfront. I was never given an apology from either the delivery crew or the shop. They seemed very eager to get their cash and leave and it was very obviously a scam or hidden cost.The whole ordeal was very obviously dishonest and I was not treated with respect as a customer. Needless to say I wont be back and will tell everyone I know to avoid this shop.

Excellent. Prices are awesome. Delivery was fast. Products are top of the line. Been doing business with them for over 25 years. Very large selection of all appliances. Extremely honest, will tell you the real deal with various manufacturers.

These guys are great. Super nice and helpful. I purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer for a rental property. A friend of mine also bought the same set for his home. They scheduled the delivery right away and worked out appointment times with my tenant. She said they were extremely pleasant and worked neatly. After the install, they showed her how to work everything. Next time I need appliances, I am going to C&D for sure.

Very good experience buying my Frigidaire fridge via C&D. They were way faster at getting the fridge shipped and installed than any of the big name stores (e.g. BestBuy), and while they did charge for install, it was a reasonable charge and not so much more than what I would have paid otherwise. After having an absolutely atrocious time with BestBuys cascade of failures, I felt much better doing business with C&D and will do so again. One word of advice– they do charge a surcharge if purchasing with credit card.

I just want to thank Carl and his staff for making the delivery on 6/28/19a rush job to my elderly friend whos air conditioner broke while it was 90 degrees.They made sure she would have her new air conditioner today, and theyalso installed it for her.Thank you

I have found the Staff at C&D to be amazing to deal with. Great pricing and informative. Delivery times are timely and convenient.

The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and cut me off before I even got 3 words out. He said We be the best prices come down. before I could say why I was calling and what I was looking to buy. Eventually when he let me speak I told him what I needed and asked for a price and he said We dont quote prices over the phone. He lost my business.

I have a brand new SAMSUNG RF23HCEDBSR 23 CU.FT. Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator. Its a brand new and never being turned on. How do i get to the owner.?

BUYER BEWARE. SCAM ALERT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!Dealing with this disreputable business has been nothing short of a nightmare. The point person I dealt with was Walter and he is an especially vile, rude and nasty businessman (if you can even call him that) . I bought a washer and dryer after both of mine went on the fritz and when they left their business card in my door, I thought it was a godsend. I would soon find out out that it was actually hellsent, as the level of frustration and unprofessionalism I endured was so breathtakingly unimaginable that I had to enlist a family member to take over the business dealings. First, they encouraged me to pay with cash or debit and NOT credit( Remember this fact for later) . I thought that I was getting a deal of about 30 bucks off on top of the Presidents Day savings I had received. I took the measurements of everything carefully and relayed it to them (I have a small non-renovated south philadelphia basement with extremely small passageways). The washer went in fine, but sure enough, as my luck would have it, the dryer didnt. It had a protruding upper back that the company did not account for and I had to re-order another dryer. When I found one, I figured Walter would honor the Presidents Day prices considering i bought the dryer on that day and it was not my fault the dryer didnt fit. He unceremoniously disabused me of that notion. Water became indigent at the idea of giving me any discount whatsoever and became belligerent and rude as I tried to negotiate a deal. I ended up between a rock and hard place since I paid debit (remember them encouraging me to pay with cash or debit I mentioned earlier? Now I realized why! ). My money was gone and I was now at the mercy of this company and they fully exploited the fact that they had me over a barrel. Twice I was promised by Walter that he would have his workers install the new piece I had to purchase from Home Depot and he failed to produce them. He never had any intention on providing me with service after he secured my funds that was only a few dollars shy of a thousand dollars. STAY AWAY from this person and always, always, always use CREDIT when purchasing big items. I imagine my experience would have been smoother had I had an option to dispute my charges and had him pick up his goods. Shameful business practices. Aggregious customer support. Horrible experience never again. Dont let this happen to you! Purchase from them at your own risk.. BELIEVE the other negative reviews.

I️ purchased a refrigerator from Lowes but it was backordered and would not be delivered for 10 days. I️ called C & D to see if they had what I️ needed in stock. They were extremely rude to me on the phone. They also insisted that I️ needed to buy a counter depth fridge to get it through the door. These models are moch more expensive. I️ told them that my understanding is that a normal 22 cubic fridge without the doors would fit through a 28” doorway. They told me I️ was wrong even though most manufacturers list them at 27” without doors

I did my research before I got there, but was told to go home and look things up on the internet to answer my questions.
