Our first introduction to Frank’s Honest Auto began when our 06 Jeep started having engine troubles. After spending $500 trying to self diagnose the problem, we took it to a pair of mechanic shops in the area and were told that the engine needed to be completely replaced and that it was going to run about $6000 at the one shop and $4500 at the other. We decided to get a third opinion from Frank’s and boy are we happy we did. We spoke with Mike who told us to bring the Jeep over and after a few hours told us that the engine could be rebuilt for a fraction of the cost of the other guys.They quickly became our preferred mechanic for all our vehicles including our kids cars and we haven’t looked back since. If there’s a problem that they can’t fix, they will let you know right away and refer you to someone they trust to help you out and have yet to steer us in a bad direction.They are open 4 days a week from 4 am to 4 pm which makes getting oil changes and small repairs a breeze by making appts for when they first open.Just this week we thought the Jeep was having a starter issue and took it over asking them to fix whatever the problem is. Mike called a little while later and said they couldn’t find any issues with the starter or the battery nor did he try and say there was any other issues at all. We’ve never had that from anyone else.If you’re looking for an actual honest mechanic, these are your guys, after all it’s in the name!

Mike and the guys get me in and out with my oil change. So far thats what Ive had done but Ill be taking my truck in for all mechanical needs. Love the early hours!

This is the best place to have your car fixed in the state. I have been going there almost since they opened.You will not find more honest people or more fair prices anywhere else.

I was skeptical of their use of honest in their name. They proved my skepticism was wrong. I came to have Denali fixed. They saw and they fixed. I paid less than at other shops. I drove home very very happy. This experience has occurred several times over the years. I will only go to honest Franks Auto, and see Michael and the mechanics.

This business was referred to us through the Nextdoor app for Peoria High School. I had called and left a message concerning a code with my Ford Escape. Before calling me back, Mike had researched the code so that he could provide us with information. We were extremely impressed and happy with this shop! Top notch company. I was told by the dealer I needed a new engine wiring harness in the tune of $2700. Brought it to Frank for a second opinion. Ended up only being a $175 repair. They had it fixed the same day I dropped it off. Would definitely recommend this company. Their name says it all.

The guys at Franks Honest Auto are courteous and honest. You dont have to worry about them trying to charge you for more than what is wrong with your car.

They are very good and honest. Tears ago I brought a Saturn to them with an ignition issue. They worked on it a few days and just could not find the issue, they were very reasonable in their pricing where other shops would have overcharged me for the labor.

Honest and helpful people! Mike and crew helped fixed my fog light which popped out of my Lexus not too long ago and they were able to fix it with no issues!

If you want somebody who will treat you like your family who will give you the best possible rates tell you what really is wrong and not make things up then you need to go down and see Frank he is an awesome mechanic along with all of the people there he takes care of you like your family my brother and I go down there all the time hes the only one that works on our vehicles and the only one that ever will

Took my F150 to Franks. I was ready to do the breaks, which included the rotors, as per other repair shop had suggested.Frank called me 30 minutes after I dropped off the truck, he suggested to have the tires balanced, if still do the same thing after doing that, he said bring it back. That was about 6 months/7k miles ago, and still doing great.

Love this place. Brought my van in when my check engine light came on with a code for a problem with the evap system (esim). When I called Mike was very nice and helpful. They had the problem fixed the same day and for half the price the big auto repair company quoted me. They have also done great work on my husbands Yukon with the a.c. I will be referring my friends and family to Franks. Thanks guys

Needed air conditioning fixed AN told me 1500$ For new unit went to another an it was just the pulley needed replacement, 60$Never again. Said I had bad o2 sensors again not true. Thank god I got a second opinion...yeah cost me 100$ but saved me 2k
