I wanted to get the rattling sound from my 2012 Nissan Altima checked. I called on Monday morning and dropped off the car by 1 PM. I got a call 90 minutes later and I was informed that the car was ready. The exhaust flange was loose and it was fixed within no time and the best part...... I was NOT charged for it. I have seen other car service centers that use an opportunity like this to inform 10 things wrong with the car, thereby compiling a huge bill. It is very hard to find a service center that is honest with the customer. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Came in to see about my rotors, brakes and a leaking back tire. Not only did they check out everything I asked for they also fixed my leaking tire. For free. I got a tire alignment and two new tires from car-x. We went there two weeks ago because I thought I had a hole in my coolant reservoir. They tested it out hooked it up for 20 minutes to a pressure whatever. The coolant reservoir was fine and they didnt charge us anything. I will definitely go back there again. Thats why I got the wheel alignment done there today.

I had a great experience at Carx as usual. Manager Allen and mechanic Josh took very good care of me and my car! I wont go anywhere else!

I went there to get headlight fixed, after repair I noticed that fender liner was hanging out. Liner almost came off while driving. I had to go there twice because another dim light which was working earlier didnt work after repair. I cannot recommend this service center.

Weve gone here regularly for years. Theyre always courteous and professional. They treat my wife well which is not always something shes gotten at car places so we really appreciate that.They keep record of our cars so they remember what theyve done in the past and can keep an eye on things to make sure were getting everything checked out when we should.Their prices are great. I like to change my oil myself, but they do it faster and for cheaper than I could if I bought the oil and filter myself. Theyre good about letting you know when they have a deal going to save you even more money when youre paying.

This place is the best, they do it all. If you need anything done just call them and they will do it! You can buy parts from anywhere and they will install it for you!

This place is great! I use them for oil changes, tires, and pretty much everything else but I went in the other day about 30 minutes before they closed asking if they could check out my splash shield really quick and they happily helped us out even though it was almost time to close. They got me in instantly and took the piece off for me with no charge and I was out in less than 5 minutes. Everyone is super helpful and nice!

I love the people here, they will let you know whats wrong beforehand, no price changes or surprises along the way and the vehicle actually gets fixed. 100% would recommend. The guys there were great. Came in as a walk off from the street, didnt care. They tried to helped me at no cost but ended up needing a tire. Didnt have any reservations with buying from the. I will definitely go back with any issues my car has.

I was warned by another driver that one of my tires was flat. I pulled into our local CARx and was immediately helped with my issue. Someone filled my tire with air — free of charge! (😊) — so I could get back on the road for a meeting. I was also offered an appointment later in the day to have the tire checked for a puncture and, if necessary, repaired. Outstanding service!

Great service!!! I went in the morning we were suppose to leave for vacation (my bad for waiting until the last minute) to get new brake pads and rotors. Jim at the front desk was so kind and said he would try very hard to get it done by noon. An hour later at 1030 he called and said it was done!! He gave me an awesome discount and we left for vacation and never had trouble with the brakes. I will be returning here for all brake and tire services!

My car has been leaking oil from the oil pan valve since I got my oil changed here. Took my car to Meineke where they immediately saw that Car X had not tightened this valve properly. Not the first bad experience I have had with this facility.

I spent $800 here less than a week ago and all my tires are leaking air... literally going flat on all four tires in less than 36 hours! Now they are not answering the phone, the store is not open. Im in their parking lot now and its CLOSED!

Tried to schedule an appointment online. Stated they would contact to confirm. No one called, so I called to check and thenl man who answered said they dont have any appointments at all until the following week. If there is an option to schedule online, there needs to be updated appointment times and someone to call people back to confirm or try to reschedule when they are busy. Poor customer service and rude phone etiquette.

I was totally impressed with the service from this Car-X. I ordered 4 new tires online and booked my appointment. I received a confirmation email pretty quickly. The day of my appointment I received a reminder email with a note that my new tires came in and they were ready to put them on. I got there and the guys took my car in right away and got started. Part way through getting it done, Allen came in and said that there was a mix up on 1 of the new tires and that they put a new tire on for the day til the new got in. He was very courteous, conscientious, and helpful on what was happening. He made it right the very next day. I will recommend.

Alan and his team in Peoria are very professional and I am quite pleased with my new tires. They have a good after-sale program, i.e, tire maintenance that ensures added life to the tires. Timely oil changes also. Good job all around.

Really impressed with the friendly, speedy, and efficient service here. I had a battery problem in the evening right before closing time, but the guys were able to schedule me in for the very next day. They were ready to work right when I arrived, and did the work quickly and correctly. So much better than other experiences with appointments at other places where you have to get pushed to a later time or wait around forever. I’ll be back here with any vehicles maintenance they could address.

This place is amazing! I had an issue with the hood on my car and came in to ask for help to fix on my own since I had a 2 1/2 hour drive back home. An employee came out and fix it for me. The gentlemen took around 30 minutes out of his day to help me out. I tried to pay for his time, however, he refused the payment out of the kindness of his heart. Anytime I have a car issue when I am back in Central Illinois this is going to be the first place I go to. 5 stars.

Great Shop! The mechanic (Chris) knew that I was concerned about one particular item and he came out of the shop to explain exactly what was happening. I appreciated that very much. I have been using these guys since I moved here (2014) from Cincinnati. No surprises and service with a smile.

Chose the Peoria Car-X for the reviews on Google and a friend’s recommendation. I came in first to price tires and to see if they could get the Yokohama tires. Very quickly and professionally the technician checked two different sites and could get the tires I requested. He printed out pricing without trying to sell me a different brand or pressure me. I did ask him his recommendation and he gave me several options and printed out pricing again without any pressure. I told him I wanted to do more research and would get back to him. He was very pleasant and professional.I actually decided to go with his recommendation due to the good reviews and they were on sale. During the complimentary alignment check it was determined I would need an alignment. This didn’t surprise me because my tires had worn unevenly and were needing replaced. (After only 20,000) After the tires were put on and during the alignment the technician (Chris) told me the rear tow bolts would need to be replaced and that the bolts would need to be ordered. I asked if I could find the bolts somewhere else (quicker) and bring back could they finish the job. Of course was the reply. I got the bolts at a dealer that day and they fit me in the schedule the following day.On my last tire purchase at a different store in a different city, the technician told me he got the alignment ‘close enough’ but to have it check at a dealer to have exact. He never mentioned a bolt problem just stated he didn’t have the tools to do it. I did follow up with a dealer (NOT in Peoria) and had the car aligned. Obviously the alignment wasn’t correct because the tires wore quickly and very unevenly. The bolts needed to be replaced first before it could be aligned correctly.I’m so appreciative that Chris patiently took the time to explain why and what needed to be done and his work ethic on my car. It was a Friday afternoon and he could have just got the alignment ‘close enough’ and called it a day. If this had happened I would just wear through my tires again.I will gladly recommend the Peoria Car-X and will do future business here.

Its such a relief to have such decent hardworking folks keep my car running great. I used to use Tires Plus, but they just didnt do as good of a job...and when their manager left for a better job, I found Car-X. Ive never been happier!! Took my car in for an inspection because I have a road trip coming up. Staff stated they found loose front wheel bearings and they need replaced.Well I have a hard time believing the wheel bearings are bad considering they were replaced 2 weeks ago with brand new AC Delco replacement wheel bearings.Pretty disappointed and I will make sure to tell anyone that thinks of going there.

I have oil changes done at Carx and have also had other work done. They are very friendly, quick and helpful. Recently I had a taillight go out and a low tire. Stopped by there and they replaced the bulb and checked and filled my tires. Very good service.Update: I stopped in to have a low tire checked. Alan was not there and counter man was very unhelpful. He would not have anyone take a look at tire and I went to another place.

I have never had a bad experience at this Car-X. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Service is quick. Just recently I took my car in to get tail light bulb replaced. Service was friendly and helpful. I didnt have to wait long and they didnt charge me.

On my way to work I hit a patch of ice, bent my rim and basically was worried I would need a new one along with a tire and completely depressed because funds are tight. These wonderful guys took my car in fixed my rim and tire and checked my suspension. Best part, no charge. They are such good guys, honest and awesome.

This is the second time I visited Car-x. The First time was 3 years ago my windshield wipers were loose. They tightened them up with no charge. Last week I went in to have my tire on the drivers side front end was low. I asked the technician if he could fill my tire up with air and he checked ALL the tires and filled them with air. Once again no charge. That is what I call amazing customer service. I HIGHLY recommend this facility and will be back.

Got an oil change and they fixed a nail hole in my tire for no charge and the second time they checked my engine for no charge, plus gave me information about other things that could be wrong. I was visiting my family when my brakes started getting loud. I took them in for an inspection just in case, and they checked everything out and assured me that I had plenty of life left in my brake pads and there where no issues with the brakes, didnt try to sell me new ones, and didnt charge anything for the inspection! I was very impressed with how quickly and professionally they handled everything and their generosity with their time. Anyplace back home wouldve tried to nickle and dime me through out, but not here. I was really impressed with the whole experience. I definitely recommend.

Very pleased with their service. Checked mechanical condition of two cars for me before I bought a car. Made a minor repair on one and charged me nothing. Taking a car into today for some extensive work. They were more than fair and very honest and upfront about their charges.
